As the prospects for Donald Trump facing political and legal consequences for his criminal acts continue to heat up, his behavior is becoming ever more volatile and deranged. This past week he saw his former White House trade official, and staunch ally on the “Big Lie” election front, Peter Navarro, in handcuffs and leg irons as he got arrested for contempt of Congress.

Next week the House Committee investigating the January 6th insurrection is holding public hearings that promise to reveal new evidence against Trump and his coup-plotting cronies. So Trump is already ramping up the rabid rhetoric against the truth that he knows is about to come out.

In his determination to pre-but the documents and testimony that the Committee will release, Trump is unleashing a steady stream of vitriol and lies. He’s got his work cut out for him considering that recent polls show that 67% of the public – including 41% of Republicans – say that he “bears some or a lot of responsibility for the violence and destruction committed” during the riots on January 6, 2021.

Making matters worse for Trump, he is now facing additional criticism from fellow Republicans. Former GOP House Speaker Paul Ryan appeared at an event supporting the reelection or Rep. Tom Rice (R-SC). During his remarks Ryan had some thoughts that you know would inflame the fragile ego of Trump. Referring to Rice’s vote in favor of impeaching Trump, Ryan said that…

“There were a lot of people who wanted to vote like Tom but who just didn’t have the guts to do it. There are a lot of people who say they’re going to vote their conscience, they’re going to vote for the Constitution, they’re going to vote for their convictions, but when it gets hard to do that, they don’t do it.”

Rice is currently leading his Trump-endorsed Republican primary opponent, Russell Fry, by double digits. So Trump’s ego is not the only thing at risk in this race. The value of his endorsement is also on line. Particularly after his candidates for governor and secretary of state in Georgia both lost by huge margins. Consequently, Trump barked out this rant on his failing social media site:

“Did anyone notice that Fox News went lame (bad!) when weak RINO Paul Ryan, who is despised in the Great State of Wisconsin for being ‘a pathetic loser,’ went on the Fox Board. They won’t even talk about an obviously Rigged 2020 Presidential Election, not even a mention. That’s why our Country is going to HELL – Elections have consequences. Get Ryan off your Board and report the News as it should be reported…And stop taking negative ads from the perverts, and others!!!”

Trump is the last person who should be calling other people “despised” and “pathetic losers.” He lost the popular vote twice by millions, and he never cracked 50% in approval polling throughout his occupation of the White House, or since.

Furthermore, Trump has been bashing Fox News for a lot longer than Ryan has been a board member. Any time that Fox reported something that was less than worshipful about him, he went off. In any case, no board member has authority over Fox’s programming or editorial content. And Trump certainly has no authority to demand who is, or is not, on the board.

As for Trump’s chronic fixation about the 2020 election, he simply can’t make any public comment without whining about it (he is, after all, in his own words, “the most fabulous whiner“), And it’s cute that he thinks that “our Country is going to HELL” because Fox allegedly won’t report on it. However, the truth is that Fox has not shied away from the issue. The entirety of the Fox roster have been staunchly supportive of the flagrantly fictional assertions of fraud. What Trump is likely referring to is Fox’s reluctance to promote the new crocumentary, “2,000 Mules,” that is filled with ludicrous assumptions and blatant lies. Nevertheless, Fox has indeed mentioned it, and Carlson interviewed the principle filmmakers.

If Fox has not participated in the sort of rank promotion for a lie-riddled movie that Trump would like, it might be because the network is already being sued for billions of dollars over their election fraud lies. (See the Dominion lawsuit, and the Smartmatic lawsuit).

Finally, Trump’s admonition that “Elections have consequences” is rather bizarre considering that he has refused to honor the 2020 election in which Joe Biden received seven million votes than he did, and a landslide Electoral College victory. It was an election that even Republican election officials said was the most secure in history. And Trump’s opposition to “negative ads from perverts” sounds like his promise not to produce any ads in the future. Not that he can be expected to ever keep a promise.

Crybaby Trump is Whining (and Lying) Again that Fox News (and Everyone) is Against Him

The cult of Donald Trump – and Trump himself – likes to pretend that he is a macho man and is predestined to be America’s savior. The reality, though, is that he is a whimpering snowflake who can’t stop wailing about his imagined victimhood. He even admitted that he is “the most fabulous whiner.”

On Sunday afternoon Trump alt-tweeted, via his Twitter ban defying spokes-shill, Liz Harrington, another rant against all the “many forces” lined up against him. He was apparently triggered by having seen, or been told about, a negative advertisement on Fox News that was less than flattering: He blathered that…

“What good is it if FOX News speaks well of me when they continually allow horrible and untruthful anti-Trump commercials to be run—and plenty of them. In the good old days, that would never have happened and today it happens all of the time. Ratings-challenged CNN and MSNBC would never run a positive Trump ad—never. With so many forces against us, Big Tech, the Fake News Media, the Radical Left, the RINOs, and more, we are at such a disadvantage, but we will win anyway!”

WTHolyF? So Trump believes that Fox News is obligated to present only positive news about him and then refuse to accept any advertising by parties who have an opposing view. As usual, he doesn’t offer any examples of anything that was “horrible and untruthful” or “anti-Trump.” His willfully blind disciples are just supposed to accept whatever he says without question.

What’s more, Trump has the perverse opinion that there were “good old days” when TV networks would decline to air political ads that didn’t unflinchingly fawn over aspiring authoritarians like Trump. He goes on to falsely assert that CNN and MSNBC don’t air pro-Trump ads. But you have to wonder why he would care when he also claims that no one is watching them.

Trump has never been an ardent fan of free speech. To the contrary, he incessantly yowls whenever anyone exercises it to criticize him. At his recent cult rally in Iowa he complained about the loss of free speech even as he called for banning speech. And after having been evicted from Twitter for inciting violence, he just announced his intention to launch his own social media venture to restore his free speech rights. Although his site explicitly prohibits anyone from speaking negatively about him.

Trump’s pathetic perceptions of victimization are typical of malignant narcissists who view any criticism as unfair and hostile. And Trump has itemized an army of critics including “Big Tech, the Fake News Media, the Radical Left, the RINOs, and more.” But he leads off with Fox News, the network whose editorial mission got him elected in 2016, and is still supporting his “Big Lie” about the 2020 election. Never mind all the times that Trump blasted Fox News as “dead, totally fake, not watchable. lost” etc. There is simply no pleasing Trump because no matter how much you kowtow to him, it will never be enough.

HYSTERICAL: Trump Slams Fox News in Massive Meltdown Over His Absurd Election Lies

The downward spiral of Donald Trump continues to spin uncontrollably into the depths of madness. The evidence is impossible to ignore. He recently filed a laughably ludicrous lawsuit against Twitter, Facebook, and Google. He posted plagiarized plugs for books by Fox News flunkies. And on Saturday morning crybaby Trump whined pitifully that the British Open snubbed his money-losing Turnberry golf course.

However, that wasn’t the worst of Trump’s emotional malfunctions this week. His months long mental breakdown over having decisively lost the 2020 presidential election to Joe Biden has consumed his every waking moment. Never mind that it was that lunacy that led to the deadly insurrection in Washington, D.C., on January 6th, and is likely to incite further violence on the part of his Crackpot Crusaders. Trump persists in peddling the “Big Lie” despite having no proof whatsoever.

On Friday Trump had his spokes-shill, Liz Harrington, post his latest temper tantrum on Twitter, since he’s been banned for repeated, and potentially harmful, lies. The message began with a wild swing at his own Ministry of Disinformation (aka Fox News):

“Fox News and other media outlets incorrectly side with the outdated and terrible Maricopa County Election Board to report no fraud found in the Presidential Election. They spew the gross misinformation purposefully put out by the county and the Associated Press.”

Trump is referring to an article published by the Associated Press and tweeted by Fox News anchor Brett Baier. The article revealed the results of a comprehensive study of alleged election fraud in Arizona and concluded that there wasn’t any to speak of (fewer than 200 “possible” cases out of 3.4 million votes). Trump went on to make what he presented as “factual” assertions of fraud, but for which there is zero basis in the real world:

“[They] IGNORE the very important Arizona Senate’s hearing yesterday, which showed 168,000 fraudulent ballots printed on illegal paper (unofficial ballots), 74,000 mail-in ballots received that were never mailed (magically appearing ballots), 11,000 voters were added to the voter rolls AFTER the election and still voted all the access logs to the machines were wiped, and the election server was hacked during the election.”

All told, Trump’s utterly unfounded claims assert that there were more than a quarter of million fraudulent votes tallied in a race that he lost by about 11,000. All of the allegations were drawn from Republican conspiracy theorists in the Arizona Senate and their hired hoaxsters, the Cyber Ninjas.

As an example of how flagrant their fallacies are, the AP fact check debunked the claim of 168,000 allegedly fake ballots on the wrong paper, noting that they were ordinary provisional ballots that were printed and cast on election day. It’s something anyone with election experience would know. Also easily debunked was the 74,000 mail-in ballot claim, saying that the Ninjas were simply using the wrong data files and that “the claim isn’t true and represents a misunderstanding of how early voting works in Arizona.” In other words, the Ninjas, who have no experience in election audits, are idiots who don’t have the slightest idea what they’re doing.

The same failure to grasp the assignment they’ve been given taints all of the other claims in Trump’s harangue. But that didn’t stop him from accelerating the crazy. He quoted a few blatantly partisan GOP state senators to support his babbling rant. None of them offered any proof of fraud either. Just like Trump’s crack legal team that lost more than 60 cases because they couldn’t produce a scrap of evidence. This is all he has to cling to. And it only confirms just how detached from reality he and his glassy-eyed cult followers are.

It should also not go without notice that Harrington’s posting of these statements by Trump are violations of Twitter’s terms of service that prohibit attempts to circumvent a suspension. (more on that here). She has posted Trump’s pseudo-tweets 48 times in just the past two weeks. Harrington’s account should be reported and suspended for her repeated breach of Twitter rules.

Trump’s Year of Vicious Bashing – and Devoted Sucking Up To – Fox News in 2020

Let’s face it … trying to unravel the acute psychoses of Donald Trump is an exercise in futility. It’s like trying to explain why pigs prefer poetry to pedicures. Seriously, don’t bother. And it’s particularly evident in his long-running love/hate relationship with Fox News, the propaganda machine that put him in the White House.

For the past year, Trump has lashed out furiously at Fox News for a myriad of perceived offenses. He vilified their pollsters as agents of “suppression.” He castigated their producers for having the gall to book Democrats for predominantly disparaging interviews. He lumped Fox in with “fake” news disseminators like CNN and the New York Times. He whined petulantly any time a Fox shill failed to exhibit unqualified adoration or presented him in a less than worshipful fashion.

Naturally, Trump’s anger was often expressed on his favorite communications platform, Twitter, which he also loves to bash (see his incoherent tirades aimed at “Section 230“). An example of Trump’s fury at Fox was posted last week when he declared that “Fox News is dead”:

The notion that Fox News is somehow aligned with “Radical Left Democrats” is too absurd to even bother responding to. And it is typical of Trump to single out one of the few Black contributors on Fox for criticism. But can anyone figure out what he’s talking about when he complains about “unedited commercials”? However, that specimen of nonsense was just his latest outburst. Here is some of what Trump has been griping about throughout 2020:

So only Trump knows what has happened to Fox News? And he’s keeping secret? Despite that hail of hysterics, Trump still managed to lavish Fox News with love when it suited his purpose. In 2020 Trump tweeted about Fox 230 times. That’s about once every day and a half. Of those, 79 were shout-outs to Sean Hannity (20 of which announced his interviews). Another 81 tweets were aimed at Fox and Friends (of which 11 announced his interviews). Mark Levin got 67 flattering tweets. Lou Dobbs got 55. Maria Bartiromo got 39. Laura Ingraham got 27. Jeanine Pirro got 21. And Tucker Carlson trailed the pack with 17.

In addition to those praiseful mentions of Fox News flacks, Trump also lathered Fox’s competitors with compliments. The One America News Network (OANN) got 80 tweets. And Newsmax gathered 27.

You have to wonder what’s in it for Fox News. Why would they tolerate this sort of abuse from an obviously disturbed egomaniac that is headed for an epic flameout? Could it be that just the prospect of a temporary ratings boost would cause Fox to accept being Trump’s whipping boy? Are they so wrapped up in their mission to advance an ultra-conservative agenda that they’ll suffer Trump’s contempt? Does Fox News believe that they will recover from this assault after Trump is demoted to civilian rank?

Fox’s ratings have already taken a considerable hit since election day. Newsmax has been gaining viewers and CNN is regularly beating Fox. In fact, Fox is dangerously close to slipping to third place behind MSNBC. What’s more, Trump has been openly speculating about launching a cable network of his own. Given his track record for business ventures, that would probably just be his next bankruptcy. But it could also cause some further deterioration of Fox’s audience. So the question remains: Why is Fox News behaving like a battered spouse and submitting to this abuse? Are they just as brainwashed by the Cult of Trump as his dimwitted followers? Stay tuned!

Trump Is ‘Really Sad’ Having to Declare that ‘Fox News is Dead’

It’s the most wonderful time of the year. The time when Donald Trump’s rage boils over because those he considers his subservient flunkies are less than fiercely devoted. The time when unquestioned loyalty to Trump is demanded of all who kneel before him. The time when Trump lashes out at Fox News for not showing unqualified adoration of Dear Leader.

It’s been six weeks since the American people voted to excise the Trump Virus from the body politic. In all that time, Trump has continued to insist, in defiance of reality, that he was the landslide winner of the presidential election, and probably by acclamation, the Master of the Known Universe.

Unfortunately for Trump, the real world is not so forgiving. His failure to best Joe Biden in the election, as well as in nearly sixty court challenges, has sunken Trump’s mood to unprecedented depths. He has now been reduced to whining pitifully about being the victim of an international cabal determined to destroy him. And participating in that collective of coup plotters is Fox News, the network that put him in the White House and still has deep sympathy for his singular plight. Trump has been mad at Fox News for quite a while. And his anger may have contributed somewhat to Fox’s ratings decline. He has lately been propping up piddly also-ran “news” sources like Newsmax and OANN. He was even recently reported to have expressed his desire to “wreck Fox News.”

However, this tweet is riddled with bizarre notions that extend far beyond a his ignorant ratings analysis or a mere displeasure with “news” reporting. First of all, his claim that Fox News has “played right into the hands of the Radical Left Democrats” is not supported by any examples. Trump simply regards any adverse commentary as part of the anti-Trump plot. And his singling out of Donna Brazile, is notable for her being a rare woman of color on the network. She conveniently satisfies Trump’s tendencies toward both misogyny and racism.

Furthermore, Trump makes a preposterous reference to Fox News “allow[ing] endless negative and unedited commercials” Does he believe that television news networks are supposed to be editing commercials? Likewise, does he believe that those commercials are supposed to all be positive?

Let’s set aside Trump’s alleged sadness over the network’s alleged demise. Trump’s death notice is more likely a reflection of his desires than of the actual health of Fox News. As noted previously, Trump is out to wreck Fox. He thinks he has a future in media with a self-branded network. He’s wrong. That would just be the path to his next humiliating bankruptcy.

In conclusion, Trump declares that “Fox News is dead.” That’s a diagnosis that doesn’t square with the facts (a common problem for both Trump and Fox). While their ratings have understandably declined following the heat of the presidential campaign, Fox still has millions of viewers and is one of the top cable networks. But what’s really bothering Trump is that Fox News isn’t as slavishly kowtowing to Trump as they were four years ago when they aired his every utterance live and uninterrupted. And Trump has pointed that out several times in the past few months:

  • Dec 16th 2020: “Perhaps the biggest difference between 2016 and 2020 is @FoxNews.”
  • Nov 12th 2020: “The biggest difference between the 2016 Election, and 2020, was @FoxNews!”
  • Oct 27th 2020: “The biggest difference between now and 2016 is @FoxNews.”
  • Aug 14th 2020” “The biggest difference between the Presidential Race in 2020 and that of 2016 is the 2016 candidate … and @FoxNews has become politically correct and no longer the big deal!”

Clearly Trump is unhappy with how Fox News has scaled back their 24/7 coverage of his hostile, lie-riddled, egomaniacal rants. His concern for the death of Fox contrasts tragically with his total lack of concern for the 300,000 Americans who really are dead due to his negligence and incompetence. He is obsessed with burying anything he regards as bad news for him, while pounding mindlessly on his critics. And if he thinks that that sort of programming will draw an audience for his own potential network, he’s even crazier than everyone already assumes him to be. But it will, nevertheless, be fun to watch him fail again should he go through with it.

Trump Plans to ‘Wreck Fox News’ For Not Worshiping Him Enough

One of the most persistent patterns of behavior by Donald Trump is his knee-jerk reaction to anyone or anything that fails to show him unflinching adoration at all times. Trump can be relied on to launch a barrage of vicious and vengeful assaults in the wake of what he considers betrayal, even if it’s a trivial and temporary lapse in the observance of reality.

Trump spent Thursday morning working hard at what he considers to be his most pressing presidential duties: posting hostile and incoherent tweets aimed at the paranoid parade of his perceived enemies. On this particular morning it was Fox News that was the subject of Trump’s ire (and not for the first time). He retweeted more than a dozen messages by random Twitter bots blasting Fox News and insisting that it was either untruthful, corrupt, or dead, and that they would never watch it again.

Following that Trump tweeted his own opinion that focused on Fox’s tumbling ratings and his narcissistic illusions of grandeur:

It’s telling that Trump believes that Fox News is obligated to promote him in a purely positive fashion at all times because he is, in his own mind, their “Golden Goose,” and the sole reason for their success. Never mind that Fox has been at the top of the cable news food chain since 2002, two years before The Apprentice aired, when he was just a failed proprietor of bankrupt casinos trying to sell the rights to his name for other developers to plaster onto their buildings.

Trump is also blaming his election loss on Fox News, citing the differences between how they covered him in 2016 (when they rapturously covered his every public utterance live and uninterrupted) and 2020 (when they employed a bit more discretion by only covering almost every public utterance). Throughout his presidency and the election campaign, Fox News was faithful to their Dear Leader, lavishing him with praise, while lambasting his critics.

Trump was nevertheless perturbed at Fox because they would occasionally interview a Democrat or allow a Democratic commentator to tell the truth about him. He also whined about Fox’s polling that often – and correctly – found him to be losing to Joe Biden. And now his anger at Fox is being channeled into a new media venture. As reported by Axios, “Trump is considering a digital media channel that would stream online.” And his intentions are not limited to the business aspects of this:

“‘He plans to wreck Fox. No doubt about it,’ said a source with detailed knowledge of Trump’s intentions.”

That’s right. Trump is acting out his revenge on the network that put him in the White House. Now Fox is just another one of the former Trump allies that fell out of favor with him and is therefore subject to his bitter wrath. But don’t mistake this for mere spite for perceived wrongs. This is also Trump’s marketing plan. He needs to diminish Fox News if he ever hopes to prevail over them. So he’s launching this scorched earth campaign to soften up the wingnut TV audience and prepare them for Trump’s debut.

What’s more, Trump’s efforts to contest the results of the election are all likely a part of the same marketing plan. By pushing hard on accusations that the election was stolen from him, and the need to fight back, Trump is keeping his fundraising operation humming. And it will not surprise anyone when most of those funds make their way into his new media startup. Similarly, his rallies, past and future, are not just opportunities to lap up the adoration of his cult followers. They are also useful in building contact lists (email and cell phones) that he can use to launch Trump TV.

In the end, all of these efforts are only likely produce the next Trump bankruptcy. It is incredibly difficult and expensive to launch a new network. And Trump doesn’t have either the work ethic or the money to do it. Furthermore, it is unlikely that he could sustain an audience for 24 hours a day and seven days a week. There is only so much that people can take of him and his trademark belligerence, childish insults, and relentless whining. And as an ex-president – and a loser – he won’t have the draw that the presidency conveys.

However, any project that pits Trump against Fox News is bound to have some entertainment value for America’s liberals and Democrats. It should be fun to see them go after each other in a war that is certain to be harmful to both. So stock up on popcorn and get ready to binge on a bizarre reality show that promises to be even more bizarre than anything Borat could dream up.

Deflated and Defeated: Trump’s Final Pre-Election Interview on Fox News

During a year burdened with the deadly coronavirus pandemic, a historic recession, civil unrest, and the most divisive political environment in generations, election day may have seemed like it would never arrive. But, lo and behold, here we are. And now it’s just a matter of time before the nation learns whether it will go forward in a positive direction with the sane and decent leadership of Joe Biden, or if Donald Trump will somehow stumble back into the White House for another four years of turmoil, ignorance, and hostility.

In advance of the day’s voting, Trump spent some time with his bootlicking mood boosters at Fox News for a phone-in “interview.” And the “Curvy Couch” potatoes at Fox and Friends performed their Trump-fluffing duties just as they have for the past four (plus) years. The only real difference between this appearance and those Trump has done previously was Trump himself.

The normally hyped up “president” was uncharacteristically reserved this morning. In fact, he sounded exhausted and depressed. It’s almost as if he knew that his prospects for winning were as remote as my prospects for dunking on Lebron James.

Trump’s speech patterns were slow and halting. He appeared to have trouble forming coherent thoughts. The pauses between words signaled an inability express himself without sinking into pessimism and depression. For example, early in the segment Trump was asked by co-host Steve Doocy a simple, softball question regarding speculation that he would try to declare victory long before the results were in:

Doocy: At what point will you declare victory?
Trump: When there’s victory, if there’s victory. I think we’ll have victory. You know, the polls are suppression polls. I think we’ll have victory. But only when there’s victory. There’s no reason to play games. And I think we’ll have victory. I look at it as being a very solid chance of winning. I don’t know what the chances are. I don’t know how they rate the chances. But I think we have a very solid chance of winning.

In that brief exchange Trump repeated himself incessantly, especially the word “victory” (six times) as if he was trying to convince himself. And he says that his chances are good, even while saying that he doesn’t know what the chances are or how they are arrived at. For the record, FiveThirtyEight puts his chances at ten percent, and the Economist puts them at only three percent.

Following that, Trump was asked another gimme by co-host Ainsley Earhardt:

Earhardt: What has it been like? Have you loved the job? Has it been worth it? Because you’ve been under so much attack.
Trump: Well, it’s been mean. You’ve dealt with horrible people like “shifty” Schiff and “crazy” Nancy, and “cryin” Chuck Schumer. You deal with some horrible people.

So Trump’s response to whether he considered it “worth it” to be president was to complain about the “horrible” people he had to deal with. Of course, those people are the elected representatives of the people who Trump was so disrespectful to with his infantile nicknames. But more to the point, he couldn’t articulate any reason why he might have “loved” serving the people of the United States as their president. It’s been obvious for the past four years that he has indeed hated the job. He’s done nothing but whine about having to deal with the media, our allies, and members of Congress. In fact, he elaborated in his answer to complain that dealing with the U.S. is more difficult than dealing with China, Russia, or North Korea. That’s what he calls patriotism?

Finally, Trump couldn’t resist taking a shot at Fox News right in the faces of his hosts:

Trump is whining that Fox News hasn’t been sufficiently adoring of him. But to him anything less than 110% unflinching worship is inadequate. His examples of Fox’s betrayal are mainly that the network has aired a few speeches by Barack Obama and Joe Biden. Trump says that “there are other networks for that,” affirming his view that Fox News is his personal Ministry of Propaganda.

To hear Trump in this interview one can’t come away without the feeling that he’s given up. He’s recognized that he will not be reelected and that now he has to turn his attention to the legal jeopardy that will face him as a civilian. His demeanor is dripping with despair for the bleak future that awaits him. And for the majority of the American people, it can’t come fast enough.

Trump Bashes Fox News Even While Cowering in His Fox News Bunker

The madness that consumes Donald Trump continues to manifest in bizarre and troubling ways. He’s making public demands that his Attorney Genuflect, Bill Barr, indict and prosecute Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Joe Biden. He’s holding coronavirus Super Spreader affairs at the White House, which he has already turned into a COVID-19 “Hot Zone.” And he insists that he’s way ahead of Biden in the “real” polls that are published in the crevices of his decaying grey matter.

If that isn’t enough, Trump is also attacking his Ministry of Propaganda (aka Fox News). This isn’t a new behavioral glitch. Trump has frequently lashed out at Fox News when he didn’t think that they were sufficiently adoring. It’s his way of “working the refs” to ensure constant adulation. But in the past couple of days it has reached a crescendo. For instance, during a marathon radio gabfest with Rush Limbaugh on Friday, Trump whined that…

“It’s a problem. Fox is a problem. […] When Roger Ailes ran Fox, I mean, Roger had a very strong point of view. It’s totally gone. And I think it’s influenced by Paul Ryan. […] They’re going the way of CNN, and they’re going the way of MSNBC, and it’s a shame. I mean, it’s a shame. When I watch it, I look at the people they hire. I mean, I could tell you some of the anchors, they’re so bad.”

First of all, Trump’s fond remembrance of the late Fox News CEO Roger Ailes is touching because they share so much in common. Particularly the fact that they are both serial sexual predators. But Trump’s complaint about Paul Ryan, the former GOP House Speaker who now has a seat on the Fox board of directors, reveals that Trump has no idea what a board of directors does. They are part time business advisors who have zero input into programming.

In addition to Trump’s comments on Limbaugh’s radio program, he made similar comments on the radio show of Fox News host Mark Levin. He was attempting to make a point about the differences between his 2016 campaign and the current one:

“One of the biggest differences is Fox. Fox is a whole different ballgame than it used to be. Fox was great. Fox was great. Fox is no longer great.”

Among the reasons that Trump has arrived at this conclusion are the polls that Fox News has recently published. The most recent one shows him trailing Biden by ten points. But trump has been upset with Fox’s pollsters for quite a while. And you can be sure he was driven to new lows by the one that found that a majority of voters say that he doesn’t have the “mental soundness” to serve.

What makes all of this even more peculiar is that while Trump has been amping up his attacks on Fox News, he has also been spending more time there. In the past four days Trump has done interviews on Fox with Maria Bartiromo, Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson (with Marc Seigel), and Mark Levin. And he has another “interview” with Bartiromo on Sunday. He apparently has no idea that he’s only reaching people that are already voting for him. It’s all for his ego and the lack of any notion of how he can rescue his floundering campaign.

The many hours Trump is devoting to Fox News is severely cutting into his golf and Twitter time. It also indicates that he has nothing else of importance to do. But most of all it shows that his whining about how disloyal Fox has been to him is just a charade. He knows that Fox News is his official State TV network and is vital to his nefarious schemes for the future. And he knows that Fox won’t punish him for his fake hostility toward them. They have a parasitic relationship wherein they are both addicted to each other. And while that may satisfy their immediate cravings for attention, it won’t keep Trump from circling the electoral drain.

Trump Whines that Chris Wallace of Fox News is ‘Controlled By the Radical Left’

As Election Day draws nearer, Donald Trump continues to descend into a psychotic abyss that exhibits the frantic tangle of his fear and desperation. It’s become serious enough that the American people can’t help but have noticed. Much of the evidence of his mental infirmity is revealed in his increasingly bizarre insistence that the election is rigged against him and that he will refuse to accept the results.

Adding to the cornucopia of crazy that is Trump these says is how he expresses his roller-coaster, love/hate relationship with his own Ministry of Propaganda (aka Fox News). Trump has been making almost daily appearances on the network, partly because his cult rallies and phony press conferences are no longer being carried live by every network.

On Thursday morning Trump got another tongue bath from Brian Kilmeade on his Fox News radio show. Among the topics discussed were his disappointment that Fox News polls show him losing to Joe Biden (as do all other polls). Fox’s pollsters are “incompetent,” Trump complained to Kilmeade. “They were one of the most far off of all polls,” Trump lied. “They don’t like me, I can tell you that. The worst polls are usually Fox.” Actually, Fox’s polls are generally pretty accurate and in line with the mainstream of credible polling.

Trump also continued his recent rash of ranting about voting by mail. Never mind that he’s currently imploring his cult followers to do so. But in his latest Fox gripe session, he told Kilmeade that “These [mail-in] ballots are a horror show.” He then went on to weave an entirely made up story about discarded ballots:

“They found six ballots in an office yesterday in a garbage can. They were Trump ballots. Eight ballots. In an office yesterday in a certain state. They had Trump written on it, and they were thrown in a garbage can. And this is what’s gonna happen. This is what’s gonna happen. And we’re investigating that.”

Notice that in a matter of seconds Trump increased the number of trashed ballots thirty percent, from six to eight? By sundown there will have been 8,000 of them. NBC News asked the White House for confirmation of this garbage story, but the response they received failed to back up Trump’s obvious fabrication.

Finally, Trump sought to suck up a bit by complimenting Fox News Sunday anchor, Chris Wallace. However, in Trump’s warped mind, a compliment is bragging about having delivered high ratings for interviews he did with Wallace. “Because,” as Trump said to Kilmeade, “it’s all about ratings.” Trump went on to say what he really thinks of Wallace:

“I would be willing to bet that he won’t ask Biden tough questions. He’ll ask me tough questions. It’ll be unfair, I have no doubt about it. But he’ll be controlled by the radical left. They control him.”

That’s right. Trump thinks Chris Wallace, a seventeen year veteran of Fox News, is controlled by the radical left. As is Rupert Murdoch. And Joe Biden. And they’re all in cahoots with George Soros. It’s conspiracy, I tells ya. And woe be to us all if Trump weren’t here to expose it.

WTF? Fox News Judge Says Trump is Totalitarian – And He Retweets It?

There have been far too many episodes of Donald Trump exposing himself as mentally unfit to enumerate here. After all, there are books dedicated to the subject (like “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 37 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President.”). Let’s just take the voters (as polled by Fox News) as proof that the nation has had enough of being governed by a sociopathic narcissist. Trump’s claim that he “aced” a cognition test notwithstanding, he is unarguably psychologically distancing from reality.

On Wednesday morning Trump mounted his customary Twitter defense with more than three dozen tweets before noon. But one in particular illustrated perfectly how badly his cognitive skills have deteriorated. Presumably he was responding to the criticism of his fascist deployment of faux federal law enforcers in Portland.Oregon, and other localities. But what he tweeted was an article in the “Moonie” Washington Times, written by Fox News senior legal analyst, Andrew Napolitano. The headline reads “How totalitarianism begins in the U.S.”

It’s fair to say that Napolitano does not regard Trump’s hyper-aggressive tactics as an appropriate use of government authority. In fact, he castigated Trump’s phony “law and order” rhetoric saying that “there is nothing lawful or orderly about what these agents did. Their activities in Portland are unlawful, unconstitutional and harmful.” Some other choice excerpts are even more damning…

“Last weekend, with no notice or local consent, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security sent teams of agents — untrained in crowd control and wearing military fatigues — onto Portland’s streets. Their uniforms bore no governmental, administrative or personal names, just the word “Police” on masking tape. They descended upon the city in unmarked SUVs and began grabbing people indiscriminately off the streets, without regard to the person’s lawful presence or personal behavior.

“It was a kidnapping, not an arrest. An arrest is a lawful restraint by a legitimate government authority pursuant to a warrant issued by a judge specifically naming the person to be arrested, or pursuant to probable cause of crime personally observed by the arresting officers. Neither of these was the case in Portland.”

“The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution requires the government to protect speech, not assault those who exercise it. If these indiscriminate beatings and kidnappings are intended to deter folks from publicly dissenting, it is profoundly unconstitutional, counterproductive and will be costly to the federal government.”

You have to wonder why Trump retweeted this article. Did he just see the Washington Times logo and a photo of civil unrest and assume that it advanced his fear mongering campaign theme? Was he going only by the byline of a Fox News pundit? Clearly he didn’t bother to read any part of the article. If this isn’t more evidence of his declining mental state, it is at best proof of his lazy and negligent approach to his job.

Trump’s attitude toward Fox News has been a wild ride of contradictions. He frequently whines about not getting 100% adoring coverage from his Ministry of Propaganda. But he also rewards them with nearly every television interview he grants. On Wednesday morning he displayed both his appreciation and his hostility to Fox News. In one tweet, Trump congratulated them on their recent ratings performance. Then, just a couple of hours later, he complained that they are “Not even watchable.”

That is emblematic of the roller coaster psychoses that Trump is exhibiting. And it’s getting harder to find an hint of coherency in his outbursts. On Tuesday he tweeted a witch doctor who claimed that hydroxychloroquine is a cure for the coronavirus. It isn’t! He defended her even after it was revealed that she also believes that dream sex with demons causes illnesses and that space alien DNA is in many vaccines. What’s more, he told his staff that he is concerned about CIVID-19 fatalities now that it is taking the lives of “our people” in red states. And this is the “stable genius” that the Republican Party (and a smattering of cultists) continues to stand behind? They all need a dose of that space alien DNA – ASAP!
