For several weeks Donald Trump has been accelerating his disinformation campaign to delegitimize mail-in voting<\/a><\/strong>. Never mind that it has been in practice since the Civil War, is used extensively by members of the military, and millions of people have voted safely for decades with only extremely rare incidents of misuse.<\/p>\n

Nevertheless, Trump is obsessed with what he is falsely maligning as a process rife with fraud. He has zero evidence to support that claim, but facts were never very high among his priorities. Instead, he simply tweets his flagrant lies hoping that repetition (such as this<\/a> and this<\/a> and this<\/a> and this<\/a> and this<\/a>) will persuade the dimmest of his cult followers to buy into his fictional narrative. Take this one tweet for example:<\/p>\n
