In early January of 2021, Donald Trump was suspended permanently from Twitter. This took place just two days after the deadly January 6th insurrection in Washington, D.C. The explanation given by Twitter<\/a><\/strong> was that “we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further incitement of violence.”<\/em> He was subsequently banished from YouTube and Facebook as well.<\/p>\n

Ever since then Trump has threatened to start his own social media enterprise to compete with the ones that he delusionally complains are run by radical leftists. In fact, he has already tried and failed<\/a><\/strong>. But now he is finally delivering – again – on that petulant, whining threat. In a post by his spokes shill, Liz Harrington (whose proxy tweeting for Trump violates Twitter’s rules on circumventing a ban<\/a><\/strong>), Trump has announced that “Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) will soon be launching a social network, named ‘TRUTH social'”<\/em> (see below). The post went on to state that…<\/p>\n

“Trump Media & Technology Group’s mission is to create a rival to the liberal media consortium and fight back against the ‘Big Tech’ companies of Silicon Valley, which have used their unilateral power to silence opposing voices in America.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

So the pathological liar, who has been documented telling more than 30,000 lies<\/a><\/strong> during his single term in the White House, is calling his new social media venture “Truth”<\/em>? Trump is also propagator of the “Big Lie”<\/em> that the 2020 presidential election was “rigged”<\/em> and “stolen”<\/em> from him. That’s a falsehood that incited the violent riots on January 6th and the storming of the Capitol by Trump’s cult followers. And Trump’s grotesque lies about the COVID pandemic led directly to hundreds of thousands of deaths and millions of people suffering. So, of course…TRUTH! Or as it’s known in the original Russian, PRAVDA!<\/p>\n

For nearly a year Trump has been dreaming of this sort of ego-fueling platform<\/a><\/strong> to whine on uninterrupted. He says that his alt-Twitter will “fight back”<\/em> against those who are “silenc[ing] opposing voices.”<\/em> Like Gab, Parlar, Gettr, and the MyPillow guy’s FRANKSpeech, with which he will now be competing? Not to mention Fox News, Newsmax, Sinclair, and OAN. The announcement closed with this paragraph that reads like bad satire:<\/p>\n

President Donald J. Trump, the Chairman of TMTG, stated ‘I am excited to send out my first TRUTH on TRUTH Social very soon. I created TRUTH Social and TMTG to stand up to the tyranny of Big Tech. We live in a world where the Taliban has a huge presence on Twitter, yet your favorite American President has been silenced. This is unacceptable. I am excited to send out my first TRUTH on TRUTH Social very soon. TMTG was founded with a mission to give a voice to all. I\u2019m excited to soon begin sharing my thoughts on TRUTH Social and to fight back against Big Tech. Everyone asks me why doesn\u2019t someone stand up to Big Tech? Well, we will be soon!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

There is already evidence that this is all just another Trump con game<\/a><\/strong>. Nevertheless, Trump spawn, Don Jr, was on<\/a> Fox News tonight with Sean Hannity to hype his latest grift. He complained that on all the lefty search engines “all you see is the CNN, the MSNBC, yadda, yadda, yadda. The leftist narrative all way down. You can never get to the other side of the story.”<\/em> Yes, he was saying that on Fox News, the highest rated cable “news”<\/em> network.<\/p>\n

However, the most pressing question about this boondoggle is whether it will it be as “successful”<\/em> as Trump’s other swindles. For instance, his four bankrupt casinos, his fraudulent university, his steaks, his vodka, his airline, his D.C. hotel, his scam charitable foundation that was shut down because it was stealing funds, and so much more.<\/p>\n

And let’s not forget his failed, lie-filled presidency that featured two impeachments, numerous felonious associates, international humiliation<\/a><\/strong>, record national debt and unemployment, approval ratings that never reached 50 percent, losing the popular vote by significant margins twice, inciting a violent insurrection, and deliberately mismanaging a pandemic that resulted in more than 700,000 dead Americans. Other than that… We can’t wait.<\/p>\n
