Tucker Carlson and Fox News are at it again. Not satisfied with disseminating deadly disinformation<\/a><\/strong> about the coronavirus that has led to tens (hundreds?) of thousands of preventable deaths, or advancing the racist “white replacement theory”<\/em><\/a><\/strong> to malign immigrants, or undermining American democracy<\/a><\/strong> by aiding and abetting Donald Trump’s “Big Lie”<\/em> that the 2020 election was “rigged,”<\/em> Carlson and Company are now exalting domestic terrorists and white supremacists.<\/p>\n

Carlson is promoting a crock documentary that purports to tell “The True Story Behind 1\/6”<\/em> That, of course, is a lie. The title sequence is crammed with ludicrous talking point subtitles alluding to “The War on Terror 2.0,”<\/em> and “The Plot Against the People,”<\/em> and a “Patriot Purge”<\/em> All of that wingnut sloganeering is deliberately inflammatory code intended to incite further violence. As are the opening frames of the trailer that includes video of the police shooting domestic terrorist Ashli Babbitt as she and her militant comrades are attacking law enforcement officers and smashing through the glass door entrance to the Capitol.<\/p>\n
