{"id":564,"date":"2007-08-21T03:09:27","date_gmt":"2007-08-21T10:09:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.newscorpse.com\/ncWP\/?p=564"},"modified":"2007-08-21T03:11:27","modified_gmt":"2007-08-21T10:11:27","slug":"nuke-iraq-and-make-bush-president-for-life","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newscorpse.com\/ncWP\/?p=564","title":{"rendered":"Nuke Iraq And Make Bush President For Life"},"content":{"rendered":"<blockquote><p><span style=\"color:#0d00d0;\">The wisest course would have been for President Bush to use his nuclear weapons to slaughter Iraqis until they complied with his demands, or until they were all dead.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Believe it or not, this is exactly what <a href=\"http:\/\/www.familysecuritymatters.org\" target=\"_blank\">Family Security Matters<\/a>, a organization made up of prominent conservatives, is advocating, along with making Bush President For Life <a href=\"http:\/\/digbysblog.blogspot.com\/2007\/08\/hail-caesar-by-digby-ive-been-getting.html\" target=\"_blank\">(h\/t Digby).<\/a> Acting as a front group for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sourcewatch.org\/index.php?title=Center_for_Security_Policy\" target=\"_blank\">Center for Security Policy<\/a>, a right-wing think tank that promotes American world dominance through military strength, FSM features authors like Phillip Atkinson, a Contributing Editor who has written what is one of the most grotesque dissertations on American Democracy I have ever read.<\/p>\n<p>But it seems that FSM has been busy scrubbing Atkinson, and perhaps other controversial articles, from their web site. Thanks to Google cache, they cannot so easily cover their repulsive tracks.<\/p>\n<p>FSM describes themselves as the National Security Resource for American Families. But I&#8217;m not sure how families will benefit from trading in Democracy for tyranny.
