The United Nations is currently holding its annual General Assembly meeting in New York City wherein diplomats from around the world congregate to discuss shared interests and advance the cause of peace and unity. This year is a particularly notable one due to the ongoing war by Russia against its neighbor Ukraine.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, President Biden delivered an impassioned speech that addressed many pressing issues, including the Ukraine matter and Russia’s unprovoked aggression and war crimes. Biden was received with respect and admiration from the audience of international ambassadors (video below)<\/em>.<\/p>\n

It was quite a contrast from the waves of laughter that Donald Trump triggered with his preposterous assertion that he had \u201caccomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country.\u201d <\/em> Even funnier was how Fox News tried to clean up after him the next day.<\/p>\n

Biden was forthright in his advocacy of American values and the reasons that our aid to Ukraine is so important. Among the moving passages from his speech were the following…<\/p>\n

“Russia alone bears responsibility for this war. Russia alone has the power to end this war immediately. And it’s Russia alone that stands in the way of peace because Russia’s price of peace is Ukraine’s capitulation, Ukraine’s territory, and Ukraine’s children.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“If we abandon the core principles of the U.N. Charter to appease an aggressor, can any member state feel confident that they are protected?”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

“We have to stand up to this naked aggression today and deter other would be aggressors tomorrow.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Naturally, Trump was feeling neglected because the spotlight of media attention had shifted away from him. So he unleashed a bitter and bizarre commentary on his failing social media scam, Truth Social<\/a><\/strong>, in a desperate attempt to steal some of Biden’s thunder. Trump whined<\/a> that…<\/p>\n

“Biden just finished his surrender (‘speech’) at the United Nations, and nobody, despite all we give them, showed up. No respect for America any longer!”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
