During the first occupation of the White House by Donald Trump, he proved that he was utterly inept and incapable of governing in a mature, responsible manner that would benefit the nation and respect the Constitution. He left office by staging a violent coup and stealing hundreds of classified documents.<\/p>\n

From Trump’s deadly mismanagement of the COVID pandemic, to his disastrous failures with the economy and jobs, Trump performed with the same neglect, incompetence, and deliberate malfeasance that marked his business bankruptcies and personal debacles. And now he is gleefully preparing to exceed his own record of ruin.<\/p>\n

The horrific fire storm in Los Angeles has driven thousands of people from their homes and put families and businesses at risk. Yet despite the turmoil and fear, everyone in the impacted communities, and their representatives in state and federal government, have united to combat the threat, restore order, and prepare to recover.<\/p>\n

Well, almost everyone. True to form, Trump and his heartless MAGA minions have endeavored to wring every ounce of political animus out of the tragedy. Desi Lydic of the Daily Show noticed and led Wednesday night’s program with an apt description of Trump’s response.<\/p>\n

“While everyone else is deeply concerned about what is going on in Los Angeles right now, Trump is handling the tragedy like the statesman that he is.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Whereupon Lydic played a CNN clip noting that Trump is blaming California Gov. Gavin Newsom for the fires. And in addition to his lying flagrantly, he deploys his infamously infantile nicknaming by calling the Governor “Newscum.”<\/em><\/p>\n
