They are the Enemy of the people!”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n There is a remarkable quantity of trash in that tirade. Let’s begin with the fact that MSNBC’s ratings have been quite good lately. In fact, according to Adweek<\/a><\/strong>, for the week of January 13, 2025…<\/p>\n “MSNBC\u2019s primetime lineup averaged 758,000 total viewers and 64,000 viewers in the A25-54 demo for week-to-week gains of +5% and +16%, respectively. […] Among all basic cable networks, MSNBC remained in third place in total primetime viewers.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n So MSNBC’s ranking is rising and placed third among all basic cable networks. As for Maddow, her program drew almost three times as many viewers as the network’s total day average during the period. These are not exactly stats that forecast doom. And they come as Maddow returns to a 5-day-a-week schedule for the first 100 days of Trump’s occupation of the White House.
