Conservative Republicans have been trying to kill off NPR and PBS for decades. There is nothing that they hate more than an informed and educated populace. But their obsession with eliminating public broadcasting has never been more pronounced than it is today, during the second coming of Donald Trump, who famously gushed that “I love the poorly educated.”<\/em><\/p>\n

It’s no wonder why Trump feels such affinity to those without the basic elements of intellect and critical thinking. Such people are the most easily manipulated and are the best candidates for indoctrination into hive-mind cults where everyone is expected to think alike. With all of the swirling catastrophes circling the newly minted Trump 2.0 (SignalGate, annexations of Greenland and Canada, inflationary\/recessionary Trump Tax\/Tariffs, unconstitutional deportations, mass firings of critical federal workers\/services, etc.), the regime is desperate to deflect to matters that they think they can spin in a more positive direction.<\/p>\n

As usual, Trump’s desperation has led him to yet another fiasco. He has chosen to escalate the war on public broadcasting to an unprecedented level. On Monday Trump posted a comment on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social<\/a><\/strong> that raged about the “MONSTERS”<\/em> at NPR and PBS…<\/p>\n
