Keeping his tee time at his golf club, attending Yankees games, and ordering military occupations of American cities<\/a><\/strong> that don’t want or need his “help.”<\/em><\/p>\n

From the outset of the shooting, Trump has been baselessly blaming Kirk’s death on “radical left lunatics”<\/em> who he says ““want to destroy America<\/a><\/strong>.”<\/em> Rather than seeking to unite the nation, he is purposefully pouring gasoline on an already volatile conflagration of hatred that he and his MAGA-ites have been fueling for years.<\/p>\n

The dangerous defamation that Trump is disseminating continued on Monday with his posting of a missive on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social<\/a><\/strong>. He complained about New York’s Governor Kathy Hochul endorsing Rep. Zohran Mamdani<\/a><\/strong> for mayor of New York City. Trump lashed out<\/a><\/strong> babbling that…<\/p>\n

“Governor Kathy Hochul of New York has Endorsed the ‘Liddle\u2019 Communist,’ Zohran Mamdani, running for Mayor of New York. This is a rather shocking development, and a very bad one for New York City. How can such a thing happen? Washington will be watching this situation very closely. No reason to be sending good money after bad! President DJT”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Why Trump thinks that it’s “shocking”<\/em> for a democratic governor to endorse a fellow democrat can only be explained by his rapidly deteriorating mental acuity. However, it is not the least bit shocking that Trump has once again lied about Mamdani’s political affiliation. He is not now, nor has he ever been, a communist. Although, in Trump’s defense, due to his inbred ignorance, he surely has no idea how to define the term.<\/p>\n

What’s worse is Trump’s threat to withhold federal funds from New York if the voters there choose Mamdani to lead their city. It’s called democracy. And Trump has repeatedly made it clear that he is utterly opposed it. A recent District Court ruling<\/a><\/strong> blocked Trump’s attempts to withhold federal funds as an unconstitutional abuse of power. Not that he cares about the courts – or the Constitution.<\/p>\n

Trump’s threat promises to punish everyone in New York simply because they have the audacity to vote independently for the candidate of their choice. In Trump’s mind that is sacrilege. He cannot grasp how they could refuse to obey his MAGA-sty. It is yet another demonstration of his open aspirations to reign as a king, beholden to no one and to no law. Which makes the statement that Hochul made in her endorsement all the more relevant. In her support for Mamdani she said that…<\/p>\n

“In light of the abhorrent and destructive policies coming out of Washington every day, I needed to know the next mayor will not be someone who would surrender one inch to President Trump,”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

That’s a message that every elected official in America – and every American – must take to heart if the democracy that this nation has practiced for 250 years is to endure. And every day it becomes clearer that in order to preserve our freedom, Trump must go. 8647!<\/p>\n
