The path to the totalitarian dystopia that Donald Trump craves is lined with threats, insults and meritless indictments of his plethora of perceived enemies. This alleged “strongman”<\/em> does nothing but whine about his victimhood<\/a><\/strong>, while seeking to intimidate and\/or imprison anyone who dares to offer even a mild criticism.<\/p>\n

In the nine months since his reoccupation of the White House, Trump has sicced his regime attack puppets on the Democratically elected representatives of the people throughout the nation, including New York Attorney General Letitia James, California Senator Adam Schiff, Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett, etc. As well as patriots such as Federal Reserve Board member Lisa Cook, philanthropist George Soros, comedian Jimmy Kimmel, and former FBI Director James Comey. Are those the acts of a strong man?<\/p>\n

On Wednesday morning Trump lashed out again at a pair of elected representatives who failed to show him the worshipful adoration to which he feels entitled. Governor JB Pritzker of Illinois and Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson are among those who have steadfastly resisted Trump’s efforts to invade American cities with military troops in order to suppress dissent and free speech. Trump posted a noxious comment<\/a><\/strong> on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social<\/a><\/strong>, decreeing that the…<\/p>\n

“Chicago Mayor should be in jail for failing to protect Ice Officers! Governor Pritzker also!”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

As usual, Trump’s outrage is rooted in fantastical fallacies emanating from his acutely dysfunctional brain. Neither Pritzker nor Johnson have violated any laws, and Trump doesn’t even bother to cite any violations. He complains about them “failing to protect Ice Officers,”<\/em> which is not against the law. Nor is it the duty of state or local law enforcement.<\/p>\n

What’s more, ICE officers are themselves supposed to be law enforcement agents. Are they incapable of protecting themselves? That’s like demanding a police escort for police officers. Although, considering the quality of recruiting in Trump’s ICE regiments, perhaps they do need protection.<\/p>\n

Gov. Pritzker was asked about Trump’s threat by NBC correspondent Jacob Soboroff. He replied…<\/p>\n

“Let’s start with the idea that this is a convicted felon. I mean, think about that. This is a convicted felon who is threatening to jail me. I gotta say that this guy is unhinged. He’s insecure. He’s a wannabe dictator. And there’s one thing I really want to say to Donald Trump: If you come for my people, you come through me. So come and get me.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
