He has fewer public events on his schedule and he is traveling much less than he did by this point during his first year in office. Although he is taking more foreign trips. He also keeps a shorter public schedule than he used to. Most of his public appearances fall between noon and 5:00 PM on average.’.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n “Well, the man is almost 80 but he’s also a machine. I mean, he barely sleeps, he works around the clock and he constantly talks to the press.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n It was nice of Boothe to give the Fox News viewers a taste of the article that conducted a deep analysis of Trump’s physical and mental decline. However, her pro-Trump conclusion was hysterical in its portrayal of him as an elderly superhuman who doesn’t require sleep. To the contrary, lack of sleep is not a sign of strength. It is a debilitating condition that diminishes mental acuity, produces hallucinations, and causes anxiety and psychoses. Which explains quite a bit of Trump’s abnormal and dangerous behavior.<\/p>\n Furthermore, if Trump is suffering from insomnia, it would be interesting to know what\u2019s causing it. Some common causes are anxiety, stress, depression, and pharmaceutical medications such as Adderall. Lack of sleep doesn’t improve anyone’s ability to function. There\u2019s a reason that sleep deprivation is often used as a form of torture. Missing these obvious caveats to her compliments, Boothe went on to malign Biden, lying that…<\/p>\n “Meanwhile Biden always slept, worked sometimes, and never talked to the press unless they were asking about ice cream flavors. Although she ended it with the lie that Biden fell from a stationary bike. Actually the standard bike that he had been riding fell over after he came to stop.<\/p>\n Boothe’s snarky aside does nothing to refute the substance of Dr. Gupta’s remarks. Also, she edited the full video of Dr. Gupta<\/a><\/strong>, leaving out the following diagnosis of Trump…<\/p>\n “It\u2019s clear that there\u2019s age-related cognitive decline…He\u2019s confused a lot. He sometimes mumbles sort of incoherent nonsense when he\u2019s asked a question in the Oval Office…Clearly they\u2019re not getting MRIs just because, because that\u2019s the moment that we live in. There\u2019s a reason to be worried based on his public performance.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n People in Trump’s inner circle were already praising him for not sleeping during his first occupation of the white House, including his chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney<\/a><\/strong>, and former GOP House Speaker Kevin McCarthy<\/a><\/strong>. But if they are really worried about Trump getting enough sleep, they can rest assured that he is resting plenty during all of the meetings that he has been caught sleeping through<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n However, no one should be impressed that Trump doesn\u2019t get sufficient sleep. They should be concerned about how it is degrading his ability to reason and function. Not that Fox News will notice. Which makes one wonder, are they getting enough sleep?<\/p>\n
