In the fall of 2024, the CBS News program, 60 Minutes, interviewed Democratic presidential candidate Vice-President Kamala Harris. Shortly after the interview aired, Donald Trump complained that 60 Minutes had edited the interview in a manner that was egregiously unfair to Trump and amounted to defamation. Never mind that the editing was proper and routine and done solely for time and clarity.<\/p>\n

Despite having no rational argument, Trump sued the network, and in July of 2025 Paramount agreed to a $16 million settlement that was nothing more than submitting to a mob boss style extortion from Trump who was threatening to obstruct Paramount’s hopes of completing a merger with another big media firm.<\/p>\n

On Monday morning Trump posted a comment on his dedicated propaganda platform, Truth Social<\/a><\/strong>, that proves that there is no satisfying a bully. Tucked away in his hallmark diarhetorical\u2122 rant against a new 60 Minutes interview of MAGA Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Trump lashed out at CBS and Paramount, who he whined should never “allow a show like this to air.”<\/em> As if he is the programming authority who gets to make those decisions for every network.<\/p>\n

In this case, what triggered Trump was likely Greene’s characterization of him as a subject of ridicule. Which is something you would think he would be used to by now…<\/p>\n
