During his second occupation of the White House, Trump has exhibited behavior that justifies the concerns that many Americans – including health professionals – have had about his cognitive stability. It would explain his bizarre obsessions with invading foreign nations, and even American cities, with military troops. Likewise his compulsions to impose harmful, inflationary tariffs on most of the rest of the world. Likewise his egomaniacal renaming of historic institutions and monuments after himself.<\/p>\n

Trump’s age could be a factor in another problem that Trump has been struggling with for several years. It’s a problem that he has frequently accused his predecessor, President Biden, of having. Trump was fond of maligning Biden as “Sleepy Joe.”<\/em> But, as with many of Trump’s accusations, they are often confessions. Trump’s tendency to fall asleep in public meetings has been well documented. It has been the subject of both alarm and humor.<\/p>\n
