News enterprises that have endured many decades of political pressure are caving in to the threats of retribution for refusing to slant their reporting in favor of the powerful autocrats occupying the White House. For instance, the Washington Post has taken a decidedly more positive approach to Trump, and even paid $40 million for the rights to the flopping “Melania”<\/em> crockumentary<\/a><\/strong>. ABC News paid millions of dollars to Trump as a settlement (aka bribe) for a meritless lawsuit. Which might explain why they keep someone like Scott Jennings on the payroll. Jennings appears on CNN panel shows to add his knee-jerk adulation of all things Trump. His contributions consist mainly of disseminating lies, insulting his colleagues on the panel, interrupting everybody, including the host, Abby Phillip, and exalting Dear Leader Trump.<\/p>\n Jennings was demonstrating all of that on Friday during a discussion of the Supreme Court decision striking down Trump’s idiotic, inflationary, and illegal tariffs.
