The parade of sycophantic incompetents that Donald Trump has tapped for his second occupation of the White House continues to march in lock step with Dear Leader’s “vision”<\/em> of an authoritarian cult. There has never been an administration so jam-packed with unquestioning devotees who blindly follow their master’s decrees.<\/p>\n

The latest example of this mind-hive behavior comes with Trump’s unstable maneuvering to fill the post of Surgeon General. Nearly one year ago Trump nominated Casey Means<\/a><\/strong> for the position. She was uniquely unqualified. She didn’t even have an active medical license. And this was Trump’s nominee to replace his first choice, Janette Nesheiwat, who was equally unqualified. So naturally, now that Trump is ditching Means, he is turning to his favorite job recruiting site, Fox News…<\/p>\n

Trump’s third attempt at the Surgeon General’s post is Nicole Saphier, a Fox News contributor whose nomination is typically swimming in controversy. He announced<\/a><\/strong> his new nominee on his dedicated propaganda platform, Truth Social<\/a><\/strong>, by first assailing Republican Sen. Bill Cassidy – a medical doctor – and threatening his Senate seat…<\/p>\n

“For months, Senator Bill Cassidy (of the GREAT State of Louisiana!), a very disloyal person whose ‘TRUMP’ Endorsement got him elected, but later voted to impeach ‘President Trump’ on what has now proven to be a total Hoax and Scam, has stood in the way of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.\u2019s Nominee, Casey Means, for the important position of U.S. Surgeon General.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Oh, so now Means was Trump’s Health and Human Services Secretary, RFK, Jr.’s nominee? To be fair, Trump did admit that he didn’t know Means<\/a><\/strong> when he nominated her and was relying on RFK, Jr.’s recommendation. Trump followed up that comment with one that provided some background on Saphier. Although he failed to even mention her association with Fox News. Trump babbled<\/a><\/strong> that…<\/p>\n

“I am pleased to announce that I am nominating Dr. Nicole B. Saphier to be the next SURGEON GENERAL OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. […] She is also an INCREDIBLE COMMUNICATOR, who makes complicated health issues more easily understood by all Americans.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Trump then followed up on that comment with another swipe<\/a><\/strong> at Cassidy, hoping that he will be voted out of office in the upcoming Republican primary. Trump endorsed MAGA GOP Rep. Julia Letlow in that race.<\/p>\n

As for Saphier, she is not exactly a renowned medical professional. To the contrary, she often made bizaarre and defamatory comments in her appearances on Fox News. For instance, in a segment discussing the release of a special counsel report<\/a><\/strong> that exonerated President Biden of any alleged wrongdoings, Saphier, who is a radiologist with no credentials in psychology or politics, made an irresponsible remote diagnosis falsely asserting that Biden, because he criticized Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy, “is having some sort of cognitive decline.”<\/em><\/p>\n

So in Saphier’s mind, criticizing Fox News correspondents is proof of mental impairment. And that’s the quality of advice that America can expect from Saphier if she is confirmed as Surgeon General. Which makes her the perfect subordinate of RFK, Jr., whose science-denying, anti-vaccine, deranged behavior includes collecting road kill to examining their genitals.<\/p>\n

This also means that the health of the American people is going to be at great risk if they are foolish enough to rely on any of Trump’s appointees. After, he isn’t exactly a pillar of mental health…<\/p>\n

If we\u2019re going to talk about a presidential candidate\u2019s age and mental competency, his trouble even forming basic sentences, then let\u2019s do it. But Biden isn\u2019t the guy we\u2019re talking about here. <\/p>\n
