Trump delivered a speech on Tuesday to the General Assembly of the United Nations, an institution that he regularly disparages and threatens to quit. The speech was a hodgepodge of the tedious complaints that he spews in every speech he gives, including how he’s supposedly winning in Iran, transgender-phobia, attacking Venezuela or Cuba or Greenland, insulting “dumocrats,”<\/em> allegedly ending 8 wars, and of course, raging about the fake news.<\/p>\n SEE THIS: Trump Says He Banned the Media Because it is a \u2018Threat to National Security and Must Be Stopped\u2019<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n A new topic that has risen to the top of Trump’s playlist is Artificial Intelligence. His approach, however, is uniquely Trumpian. In fact, it is diametrically opposed to what the American people want. He recently launched what he calls the AI Force<\/a><\/strong>, which is a new branch of government whose purpose is to protect and defend the growth of AI, rather than the welfare of the country or its people. And in his narcissistic delusion, he regards himself as the only guardrails needed<\/a><\/strong> to rein in any potential harm.<\/p>\n During his UN address Trump raised the issue of AI to announce that he is adding it to the list of things he wants to rename. His chosen name for it is “Super Intelligence.” He elaborated saying in his infamously incoherent style that…<\/p>\n “Hereinafter officially called ‘Super Intelligence,’ changing the name and that the use of the word artificial makes intelligence fake. It makes it sound fake, and it is not fake. It’s actually amazing. But we have to be careful, In fact, In fact, it is exactly the opposite of what it purports.<\/p>\n “From this point forward, all of United States\u2019 documents, and hopefully the world\u2019s, will be changed to use the much more accurate term \u2018super,\u2019 as opposed to ‘artificial.’ So it\u2019s ‘Super Intelligence.’ In other words, welcome to the new world of ‘Super intelligence’ — SI. Let\u2019s see if that goes. It sounds much better. It is much better and it\u2019s much more accurate. Let\u2019s see if I have any power. Maybe I do, and maybe I don\u2019t.
