Their response is to invent preposterous attacks on Democrats, who they vainly try to portray as communists, and to send Trump out to shore up votes, despite his record low standing with the general public.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SEE THIS: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newscorpse.com\/ncWP\/?p=70893\" target=\"_blank\">GOOD NEWS: Trump Will Be Campaigning for Republicans \u2018Every Single Day\u2019 Until the Election<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Naturally, Trump&#8217;s official Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News, is doing their part to rig the election. On Trump&#8217;s favorite morning show, Fox and Friends, co-host Ainsley Earhardt (also Sean Hannity&#8217;s fianc\u00e9) interviewed fellow Fox Newser, and MAGA sports geek, Clay Travis, to get his predictably biased opinion on the unfolding race for the Senate in Texas between Democrat James Talarico and Republican Ken Paxton. It went something like this&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Earhardt:<\/strong> If you look at that Fox News poll, he [Talarico] is ahead by seven points &#8211; IN THE STATE OF TEXAS! How is that possible?<br \/>\n<strong>Travis:<\/strong> Texans have to wake up. I think sometimes, when you have seen Republicans win for generations, a lot of people out there just don&#8217;t think at all that Democrats are capable of winning in the state.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div class=\"embed-x\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">LOL &#8212; Ainsley Earhardt is in disbelief about Fox News polling showing Talarico leading Paxton by 7 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/jhScCbb6bD\">pic.twitter.com\/jhScCbb6bD<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/atrupar\/status\/2105998203174764575?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 2, 2026<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.x.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>Earhardt&#8217;s confusion about how a Democrat can win in Texas could be resolved by informing her that Trump has a negative approval rating in virtually every state, and his <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/map-donald-trump-approval-rating-midterm-campaign-12499648\" target=\"_blank\">disapproval in Texas is at 57%<\/a><\/strong>. And yet, according to Travis, the problem is only that <em>&#8220;Texans have to wake up.&#8221;<\/em> So now the MAGA-tists are in favor of being <em>&#8220;woke&#8221;<\/em>?<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, Democrats frequently win in Texas, including Talarico, who is currently a sitting member of the Texas House of Representatives. Also, Texas has sent 13 Democrats to Washington, D.C. to serve in the U.S. House of Representatives. So maybe these Fox News flunkies shouldn&#8217;t be so surprised. Nor should they bother to offer incoherent excuses like this one from Travis&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;Now, I watch a lot of football. I watch a lot of sports. Every single game that I am watching I am seeing Republican ads dominating. I think that Republicans have held their proverbial cash until the last moment and they are now delivering overwhelming amounts of dollars into the playing field.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Well, that settles it. Republicans will surely prevail in November after dumping a lot of money into sports program ads in the last few weeks of the election. Because the American people will forget about their economic struggles and vote the party the caused them, and that started an illegal war, and that imposed inflationary tariffs, etc., after seeing a bunch of 30 second ads that interrupt their sporting events viewing.<\/p>\n<p>Travis is praising Republicans for having hoarded their <em>&#8220;proverbial cash&#8221;<\/em> (whatever the hell that is) until after Democrats have already defined themselves and their opponents. And now he says they will unleash a barrage of commercials that will reverse the Democrats&#8217; momentum on the playing field. Because after all, Fox News believes that Talarico&#8217;s seven point lead still marks this as a <em>&#8220;tight&#8221;<\/em> race&#8230;<\/p>\n<div class=\"embed-x\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">On Fox News a 7 point lead by James Talarico &#8211; a Democrat &#8211; over Republican Ken Paxton is a &quot;tight&quot; race?
