There is <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2026\/10\/09\/katie-zacharia-white-house-press-secretary.html\" target=\"_blank\">news from the White House<\/a><\/strong> that Trump has offered the press secretary job to Katie Zacharia, an attorney, and legal and political analyst for MAGA media networks, including Fox News, and Newsmax. She also briefly served as a spokesperson for the Department of Homeland Security.<\/p>\n<p>Trump plucked her out of his Trump Media and Technology Group, where she has been employed as the senior communications advisor to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newscorpse.com\/ncWP\/?p=70518\" target=\"_blank\">his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social<\/a><\/strong>. So she has had plenty of on the job training for dishonesty, division, and diversion.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"bluesky-embed\" data-bluesky-uri=\"at:\/\/did:plc:h7qtoo7nxqxarrsijohjhbw4\/app.bsky.feed.post\/3mxhljahujy2g\" data-bluesky-cid=\"bafyreih2p3gnxaeiqrcm7qkdzzs3uqe2fyyw2cnfck66jjskwupohrflnm\">\n<p>Katie Zacharia has been chosen as the new White House Press Secretary.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; <a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/did:plc:h7qtoo7nxqxarrsijohjhbw4?ref_src=embed\">FactPost (@factpostnews.bsky.social)<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/bsky.app\/profile\/did:plc:h7qtoo7nxqxarrsijohjhbw4\/post\/3mxhljahujy2g?ref_src=embed\">2026-10-09T18:18:01.900954336Z<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/embed.bsky.app\/static\/embed.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>With that resume, Zacharia meets all of the core criteria that Trump has for his propaganda spokesmodel. She has done time at Fox News. She is a bleached blond. She has experience shamelessly lying with a straight face. She is comfortable making personal attacks. She couldn&#8217;t care less about the law or the Constitution. And she is a devoted MAGA cultist who believes in Trump&#8217;s messianic infallibility.<\/p>\n<p>Zacharia will need all of those skills to prop up Trump who is currently floundering at record lows of approval for the job he&#8217;s doing as president, as well as for his handling of nearly every major issue facing the nation, including the war in Iran, the wrecked economy, immigration, the threats to democracy, and corruption by the president, his family, and his cronies.<\/p>\n<p>Given these challenges, Zacharia will have her work cut out for her if she accepts the job. She will be met with skepticism from journalists and Democrats who are all too familiar with Trump&#8217;s predilection for lying and won&#8217;t sit still for Trump&#8217;s criminal shenanigans. There will be hearings and lawsuits and eventually indictments.
