CORRUPT AF: Trump Dishes Out FEMA Aid as Political Payola to Help GOP Candidates in Red States

Throughout the history of the United States its greatest leaders have endeavored to act on behalf of all of the people of the country, without regard to their politics. They have sought fairness and unity and the benefit of the common good. And while there have been exceptions to this, there is no one who comes close to the gross partisanship of Donald Trump.

Trump Baby on Cash Pile

From his first days in office Trump has been brazenly dedicated to advancing only the interests of his own Republican (aka MAGA) Party. Even then, it was only when those interests were aligned with his egocentric ambitions to increase his personal wealth and power. And he had a particularly difficult time distinguishing between his interests and those of his comrades or the country.

SEE THIS: Delusional Trump Whines that Americans are ‘Angry at Republicans, But They’re Not Angry At Me’

On Tuesday Trump was busying himself with doling out federal funds to improperly buy the loyalty of his fellow Republicans. In a series of comments posted to his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, Trump announced his bestowing of more than $100 million in taxpayer money, in the form of FEMA grants, to the red states that have been supportive of him. And he wasn’t the least bit shy about his blatant politicization of federal disaster relief funds. Here is what he said about each of these dirty disbursements…

  • Kentucky: I just informed Andy Barr, who is running to be the next Senator from the incredible Commonwealth of Kentucky, that I am approving 9.1 Million Dollars…Vote for Andy Barr.
  • Kansas: I just informed Senator Roger Marshall, who has my Complete and Total Endorsement, that I am granting 13.2 Million Dollars.
  • Iowa: I just spoke to the future Senator (Hopefully!) from the Great State of Iowa, Ashley Hinson, and told her that I am approving 5 Million Dollars…I love Iowa, and won it BIG.
  • Texas: I just informed Governor Greg Abbott, of the GREAT State of Texas (who has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election!), that I am sending 50.5 Million Dollars. I will be back soon to support Governor Abbott, Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick, Ken Paxton for U.S. Senate.
  • South Dakota: I just spoke with Governor Larry Rhoden, of the Great State of South Dakota, and informed him that I am approving 3.4 Million Dollars.
  • North Dakota: I just spoke with Governor Kelly Armstrong, of the beautiful State of North Dakota, and told him I am approving 3.4 Million Dollars…I won BIG all three times.
  • Missouri: I just informed Governor Mike Kehoe that I am approving 19.9 Million Dollars for the Great State of Missouri.

Notice that Trump explicitly presented several of his gifts/bribes to the Republican candidates in those red states, not the governors who receive and distribute such funds. Even for Kentucky and Kansas, he didn’t even mention their governors, who happen to be Democrats.

Trump’s reference to the politics of his identified recipients, and his bragging about past election results, makes it unmistakable that these FEMA grants were not meant to benefit disaster victims. They are in-kind donations to GOP political campaigns in the nine weeks remaining before the midterm elections.

In July, Trump blocked aid to blue states – New Jersey, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New York – after FEMA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration determined that they met the requirements for receiving aid. Even worse, a study by E&E News by Politico found that Trump “has approved just 23 percent of blue state requests for disaster aid, compared to 89 percent for red states.” Sen. Gary Peters (D-MI) put that study to good use in a Senate hearing where he confronted Homeland Security Secretary, Markwayne Mullin…

PETERS: Yes or no, do you think it's right for a president to approve disaster aid based on whether a state voted for him instead of the amount of damage in the state? This chart behind me is pretty dramaticMARKWAYNE MULLIN: That's not my experience of the president P: This chart speaks volumes

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2026-06-02T20:00:31.487Z

This is all further evidence that Trump hates America. He is only for himself. If he sees no personal advantage to any policy that crosses his desk, it goes in the trash. But he will spend unlimited amounts of the money of the American people – including that intended for disaster victims – on himself and dole it out to anyone who fluffs his insatiable ego.

Lying Bigot Mike Johnson Says Iranians Can’t Be Trusted Because Lying is ‘Part of Their Religion’

The Republican Party has long been the home of racists and hate mongers who openly advocate discrimination and white supremacy. They welcome organizations like the Ku Klux Klan into their political family and unabashedly campaign for their votes.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump and Mike Johnson

Much of the official Republican agenda is based on policies that profess intolerance for minorities. Lately they have been fixated on eliminating programs that enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in employment, education, housing, etc. And naturally, Donald Trump is the leader of this hateful movement.

SEE THIS: Trump Reveals that He is a Bipartisan Racist in a Pair of Disgusting Truth Social Posts

Faithfully following Trump’s lead is his flunky in the House of Representatives, GOP Squeaker MAGA Mike Johnson. On Tuesday morning Johnson held a press briefing where he affirmed his putrid prejudices. He was asked about the war in Iran that Trump has been losing for six months and still has no plan for getting out. Johnson said that…

“The problem is – and the reason we’ve been frustrated is – the Iranians cannot be trusted. They’ll sit at the negotiation table and say something, then walk away and do the opposite. For some of them it’s apparently part of their religion that they can just lie to someone they disagree with.”

It’s rather impressive how much repulsiveness Johnson can squeeze into such a short comment. Most notable is the flaming bigotry of his assertion that it is part of Iranians’ religion to lie. It’s an especially disgusting remark considering that Johnson himself professes to be a devout Christian, while also being a pathological liar.

The pathological lying is a trait that Johnson shares with Trump. Which makes Johnson’s accusation that Iran can’t be trusted all the more preposterous. It was Trump who tore up an agreement between the United States and Iran that had successfully prohibited any efforts by Iran to acquire nuclear weapons. And that deal, made by President Obama, was accomplished without going to war, killing thousands of people, spending billions of dollars, and wrecking the economy of the U.S., and the world.

By breaking that deal Trump not only released Iran from their promise not to seek nuclear weapons, but he also did severe damage to the reputation of the U.S. for trustworthiness. Both of those results make the world a more dangerous place. Not that Trump cares. It has likely made him richer.

For his part, Johnson is acting out his role as a Trump disciple who has surrendered the constitutional authority of the House of Representatives to the aspiring authoritarian occupying the White House. He’s more than happy to see American democracy crumble during his tenure as Speaker. So if anyone cannot be trusted, it’s Mike Johnson. and the sooner that he is removed from power the better. And the same goes for Trump.

HUH? Trump Gives a Truly Stupid Answer to a Question He Said Was Stupid and Would Never Answer

The intelligence of Donald Trump is not a particularly debatable subject. There is a reason that he fiercely guards his college transcripts, threatening anyone who might make them public. Someone with academic accomplishments would welcome the release, if only to show off how smart they are.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump WTF

Trump’s resistance regarding his grades is not unlike his position on the release of the Epstein files. Once again, an innocent person would welcome being exonerated by their release. So why is Trump – and his MAGA minions in Congress – so adamant about keeping them sealed?

SEE THIS: Why Won’t Republicans Release the Epstein Files That They Keep Insisting Will Exonerate Trump?

On Monday morning Trump held a press avail to lie about something or other. It hardly matters anymore what excuse he gives for these public appearance, because he just swerves off topic to whine about whatever is irking him at the moment.

During this event Trump was confronted by a question that stirred his typical state of cognitive confusion and inability to respond coherently. The question was asked by a female reporter, Libbey Dean of NewsNation, a right-leaning network. Nevertheless, because it’s in his nature, Trump insulted her…

Dean: Have you ruled out using a nuclear weapon on Iran?
Trump: I would never say that but the answer is yes. There is no reason for it. What a stupid question. They’re totally defeated and now I should use a nuclear weapon on them? What a stupid question.

Trump’s predictable misogyny won’t surprise anybody. But his answer is another example of just how mentally deficient he is. Notice that he began by saying that he “would never say that.” Then he immediately added that “the answer is yes.” So he actually did answer a question that he just said he would never answer. And he has the gall to call Dean – or anyone else – stupid?

That, however, isn’t where his stupidity ends. The rest of his reply was to say that there is no need to use a nuclear weapon on Iran because they are already defeated. Which will come as shock to Iran (who still controls the Strait of Hormuz and are retaliating militarily), the American people (who are still suffering economically, and whose family members are still deployed), and the world (whose access to oil, and the plethora of products that rely on it, remains obstructed).

Trump’s reply is also rather idiotic considering that he is now in the sixth month of this war with no end in sight. And he keeps saying that Iran is defeated and has no ability to fight back. Trump “brags” that they have no army, no navy, no air force, no money, and no leadership. So then why can’t he defeat them after all these months? That doesn’t seem like something to brag about. He’s like a cat that’s too dumb to catch a dead mouse.

UPDATE: The day after these remarks Trump demonstrated his weakness and desperation by reversing himself and openly threatening to nuke Iran, massacring millions of innocent people in Iran and neighboring countries.

Wannabe Fascist Dictator Trump is Reporting Meet the Press Host to His FCC – For ‘Punishment’?

The most media averse president in the history of the United States, Donald Trump, is once again demonstrating his inbred hostility to the free press and the Constitution that explicitly protects it in the very First Amendment.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump

What America’s founders saw as an indispensable facet of freedom and democracy, Trump sees as “the enemy of the people,” a phrase that he borrowed from Joseph Stalin. He insults journalists personally in the most vile and infantile manner, and disparages the entire industry as “fake News.” It’s another symptom of the severe delusional impairment that permeates everything he does or says.

SEE THIS: Delusional Trump Whines that Americans are ‘Angry at Republicans, But They’re Not Angry At Me’

On Sunday morning Trump was busy doing what he regards as his presidential duties: posting deranged rants on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social. And true to form, many of those rants concerned the media that he despises. Consequently, he led off with a short harangue whining that

“THE FAKE POLLS USED BY OUR CROOKED MEDIA ARE OUT OF CONTROL, AND SOMETHING MUST BE DONE ABOUT IT. FCC TO THE RESCUE!”

That’s right. Trump is outraged by all the polls that show him floundering in the depths of the Mariana Trench of Disapproval. To be sure, he has sunk to record lows in virtually every poll, and continues to trend downward. So now he insists that “SOMETHING MUST BE DONE,” and that it’s up to his FCC (Fascist Communications Commission) to do it. You might ask, “To do what?” Well, he got to that in a subsequent comment that is too long and tedious to repost. So here are a couple of relevant excerpts…

“Kristen Welker, the Unpopular ‘Hostess’ of the once great Meet the Press, now considered Meet the Fake Press, just stated that Donald Trump has ‘mixed results’ on his Endorsements […] Because of this purposeful inaccuracy, she will be reported to the FCC for rebuke or punishment. Unfortunately, she is not the only one. The Radical Left News is going out of their way to harass, demean, and libel anything ‘TRUMP.’ […] The Press is a Disgrace to our Nation, and I hope that Chairman Brendan Carr, and the fine people of his Commission, will take this Threat to our Country very seriously.”

And there you have it. Hall monitor Trump says that Welker “will be reported to the FCC for rebuke or punishment.” Then what? Will she have to stay after school? Will she get 20 whacks? Or will she be deported to a gulag in El Salvador?

Welker’s alleged offense was that she accurately reported that many of Trump’s recent endorsed candidates have met with defeat. In fact, that was what comprised most of Trump’s endless comment that was primarily him bragging about his “99% SUCCESS Rate on Endorsements.” What he fails to mention is that the vast majority of them were for Republican candidates in Republican primaries, many of whom had no viable opponent.

Trump also doesn’t distinguish between endorsements from months or years ago, and the more recent endorsements that have fared poorly, consistent with his devastating descent in the polls. Maybe someone should him about his “success” with Pillow Man Mike Lindell in Minnesota. Even Darline Graham Nordone, his endorsee in South Carolina, barely held onto a lead to replace her late brother Lindsey in the Senate.

Whether Welker was accurate or not is beside the point. Trump and his FCC don’t have any legal authority to dispense “rebuke or punishment” to the press for what they consider to be inaccuracies. There is, however, a civil process for recovering damages in the event of defamation. Fox News found out about that when they were forced to pay a $787 million settlement to Dominion Software for lying about the 2020 presidential election being “rigged and stolen” from Trump.

Trump, on the other hand, has zero evidence of any defamatory dishonesty on the part of Welker or NBC. This is just another attempt on his part to bully the media into submission for not gushing adoringly over him every minute of every day. And Trump may be especially angry with Welker. He walked out of a recent interview with her because he couldn’t handle her entirely reasonable questions.

MORE HERE: Big Baby Trump Flees Like a Frightened Fowl From Scary Meet the Press Host Kristen Welker

Finally, Trump’s “hope that [FCC] Chairman Brendan Carr…take this Threat to our Country very seriously,” is his clumsily covert way of issuing orders to the flunkies on his team to bring their fascist hammer down on the free press. It’s a tactic that he has learned from his idols Vladimir Putin of Russia, and Kim Jong Un of North Korea.

Trump Says ‘CNN is in a DEATH SPIRAL’ and That ‘Literally Nobody is Watching’ – Except Him?

On any given day Donald Trump can reliably be found deeply engaged in important presidential activities on behalf of the American people. Those activities run the gamut from renaming lakes, to renovating pools and statues, to sucking up to foreign dictators, to winning tournaments at his own golf resorts.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, CNN

In addition to those chores, Trump is faithfully devoted to one of his most critical functions: Hate-watching television news programs. That may be his second favorite office obligation after casting blame for his mistakes on his fellow Republicans, or criticizing them for being less than sufficiently worshipful.

SEE THIS: Trump Blasts the Republican Party, Whining ‘They Don’t Fully Grasp How Badly They Are F*ing Up’

On Saturday morning Trump posted an urgent message on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, about what he has observed in the mediaspace that takes priority over resolving his reckless and illegal war in Iran, or the festering affordability crisis that he created but says is a hoax. He raged that

“CNN is in a DEATH SPIRAL, and so is MSNOW, the new name for MSDNC — Literally, nobody is watching either Network! The best person on CNN is Pollster Harry Enten, because he was willing to show that Donald J. Trump is six times more popular than Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, or any other President — He’s got Credibility (Don’t fire him!). CNN can be turned around with new Leadership and Anchors (MSNOW cannot!), because a Great Brand can never truly be destroyed!”

First of all, it needs to be noted that Trump has been declaring that CNN and other media outlets have been dead or dying for years. It’s a long list that includes his Ministry of Propaganda Fox News, ABC, CBS, NBC, MS NOW, the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and even late night comedy shows like Seth Meyers. But they are all still around and thriving. So either they have superhuman sustaining powers, or they are zombies.

Also, Trump’s claim that “Literally, nobody is watching,” tells us two things. One: That Trump has absolutely no idea what the television ratings landscape looks like today. And two: That Trump has no idea what what the word “literally” means. Because literally millions of people are watching CNN, MS NOW, and the other news networks.

Despite his open hostility, Trump went on to express his appreciation for CNN’s Senior Data Analyst, Harry Enten, for being “willing” to present some positive information about Trump. Although Trump mischaracterized Enten’s reporting as showing that Trump is “six times more popular” than any other president. What Trump left out was that Enten’s report actually said that Trump’s popularity was limited only to Republicans. To the general population he remains deeply underwater, and lagging far behind President Obama.

What’s more, Enten has regularly featured polling that shows Trump’s approval is at record lows and is on a starkly downward path. And now Trump has established that he regards Enten as a “credible” reporter and pollster. So now everyone – including the MAGA cultists – can rely on his reporting about how broadly Trump is despised.

They should take a look at the following clips of Enten revealing the dismal prospects for Trump and his MAGA movement. Maybe it will finally sink in that they have been duped by a con man who is only in it for himself.

Delusional Trump Whines that Americans are ‘Angry at Republicans, But They’re Not Angry At Me’
ENTEN: “In the 2024 election he won [working class voters] by 13 points…But look at this now. Minus 19 points…This is a 32 point shift away from the president…’Adios, goodbye Mr. President, We don’t like you anymore.'”

FLYING KETCHUP ALERT: Trump is Polling Worse than Both Biden and Carter on Inflation
ENTEN: “Donald John Trump is in the worst position he has ever been in on inflation. And more than that, these are the worst numbers I’ve ever seen for any president. […] Trump is 49 points underwater.”

Fox News Condemns Democrats For Not Condemning Hasan Piker as Clips Play of Them Condemning Him

The closer it gets to the midterm elections in November, the more desperation and derangement we are seeing from Donald Trump, the Republican Party, and their propaganda platform Fox News. They appear to recognize the depth of their troubles, but don’t have any idea how to fix them.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Fox News, Fake News

It would never occur to them that they should change their campaign strategy from harping on 1950s “red scare” communist rhetoric and parroting Trump’s pathetic trivialities like renaming Lake Ontario, to focus more on reducing the cost of living and ending the war in Iran. And from Trump’s perspective, the problem lies anywhere but with him.

SEE THIS: Trump Blasts the Republican Party, Whining ‘They Don’t Fully Grasp How Badly They Are F*ing Up’

On Friday morning Fox News sought to cover a voting rights rally in Washington, D.C. that was also honoring the anniversary of the 1963 March on Washington led by Martin Luther King. The rally featured notable advocates of civil liberties including Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Rev. Al Sharpton. But Fox’s coverage had a typically biased slant that highlighted their obsession with a fringe left-wing podcaster…

FOX NEWS: “One prominent voice on the far left is noticeably absent. We’ll talk to former RNC [Republican National Committee] chair Ronna McDaniel about Hasan Piker and his rhetoric forming a deepening Democratic rift into the open.”

First of all, Piker is not a Democrat. He’s not even a Democratic Socialist. He may have a voice as an Internet influencer/troll, but he doesn’t speak for the Democratic Party or its candidates or office holders. So the differences that he has with Democrats are not evidence of any “rift” within the Party.

What’s more, while some Democrats have progressive positions on some issues, they are positions that are broadly popular. They include Medicare for All, making the rich pay their fair share of taxes, standing up for Constitutional law and order, judicial reform, and a national security agenda that affirms our relations with our international allies without leading reckless and illegal wars.

Secondly, If Piker was “noticeably absent” from the D.C. rally it’s because he wasn’t invited. The assumption by Fox News and McDaniel that he should have been present is an invention of their own biases. This is a delusional viewpoint that is threaded throughout Fox’s coverage.

The day before this segment Fox News hosted right-wing hack, Hugh Hewitt, who made many of the same asinine assumptions about Piker. He even called for Democrats to renounce him. Which they have no obligation to do since he isn’t affiliated with them.

Between now and November, we can expect Fox News and the GOP to push more of this nonsense. But asking Democrats to renounce Piker, with whom they are unaffiliated, would be like asking Trump and the GOP to renounce the racist, violent, neo-fascist Proud Boys. Oh wait… They actually are Republicans and Trump supporters.

What is noticeably absent from Fox News is their acknowledgement that Democrats have already renounced Piker. Even though Fox actually included video of it in their own report. And candidates across the Democratic spectrum – from progressive Abdul El-Sayed in Minnesota to moderate David Jolly in Florida – have explicitly distanced themselves from Piker.

So maybe Fox News should tend to their own party’s problems before setting up lame red herring arguments to attack Democrats.

Fox News Tribute to Karoline Leavitt Shows How Proud They Are of Her Behaving Like B*tch

Today was the last day on the job for Donald Trump’s press secretary, Karoline Leavitt. She spent the last 20 months serving as the senior White House promulgator of lies and drooling exaltations of Dear Leader Trump.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump and Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt

For most of her tenure as propaganda secretary, Leavitt appeared on Fox News (several times a week) disseminating prefab disinformation to the network’s gullible audience of MAGA cultists. From her first days in her spokesmodel role, Leavitt altered the relationship between the media and the White House. She made it her mission to replace credible journalists with brazenly pro-Trump podcasters and Internet trolls.

SEE THIS: Trump’s Press Secretary Plans to Turn the WH Briefing Room Into a Pro-Trump Propaganda Mill

On Thursday morning Leavitt was once again on Fox News, this time for her exit interview. And to no one’s surprise, it was a biased segment that featured her anti-media raving and personal nastiness. In fact, those were the attributes of her tenure at the White House that Fox News was most proud of. They even produced a video montage of it that included such memorable gems as…

“You [CNN’s Kaitlan Collins] take every single thing this administration says and try to use it to make the president look bad.”
(Note: He doesn’t need any help for that).

“You [The Hill’s Niall Stanage] are a left-wing hack. You’re not a reporter. You’re posing in this room as a journalist.”
(Note: Prior to Leavitt’s arrival all reporters in the White House Press Room were certified by the independent White House Correspondents Association).

“Of course the president supports peaceful protest. What a stupid question.”
(Note: Trump literally asked his Secretary of Defense Mark Esper if the military could shoot protesters in the legs).

“My first reaction when seeing former President Biden speaking tonight was ‘I’m shocked that he’s speaking at nighttime.’ I thought his bedtime was much earlier.”
(Note: Trump’s bedtime is even earlier, including during Cabinet meetings in the daytime).

“I gave a quote to one of the media outlets in this room yesterday that Democrats behaving like children would be the least surprising thing of the night.”
(Note: This is rich coming from the spokesperson for the biggest baby in White House history).

"Good times. Great memories." — Fox & Friends' tribute to Karoline Leavitt is just a supercut of her being a condescending jerk to reporters. Imagine being proud of acting like this.

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2026-08-27T14:59:40.590Z

Following the montage, Leavitt responded saying that those were “Good times. Great memories.” Those were actually what both Leavitt and Fox News felt were the moments that they were most proud of. But then, what else could they present in their farewell tribute? It’s not like there were any moments in the past year and a half wherein she demonstrated any honor, honesty, or even maturity, to include in the montage.

To the contrary, Leavitt performed like a PR agent for a criminal fraudster and alleged pedophile who scammed his way into a position of power through deceit and threats. In other words, she was perfectly matched for employment by Trump.

Leavitt’s departure from the White House at this time, just prior to the critical midterm election, is suspicious. She’s claiming the old trope that she wants to spend more time with her family. But she just took a few months off on maternity leave, then came back to work. Shortly after she returned, it was alleged that Trump ditched her on a plane that he believed would be a target for a terrorist attack by Iran, while he snuck off to a different plane without telling those on the targeted plane about the danger they were in.

Leavitt made her resignation announcement two weeks ago. There has been no mention by Trump since then as to who might replace her. While some analysts believe that the job will go to a sycophant like Natalie Harp or Scott Jennings, others have suggested that Trump will name himself as his own press secretary. And I wouldn’t rule out Lara Trump, who is not only a member of his family, but also a Fox News host.

MORE HERE: HELP! WANTED? Who Will Trump Get To Lie For Him Now That Karoline Leavitt is Quitting?

After Leavitt has had her fill of family life, expect her to be hired by Fox News, just like Trump’s first term press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany. As for whoever fills Leavitt’s shoes at the White House, we can all rest assured that it will be someone for whom lying is not a moral problem, and who unwaveringly adores Trump. And those criteria make the case for Trump selecting himself. Who else lies more frequently and loves him more fervently?

Trump Blasts the Republican Party, Whining ‘They Don’t Fully Grasp How Badly They Are F*ing Up’

The Ego That Ate D.C., Donald Trump, is on the hunt again for prey that it can devour to sustain its Reign of Terror. It has an insatiable appetite that threatens to drive its potential victims into extinction. Which, in the big picture, would be a desirable outcome.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Republican, GOP

Trump is suffering the lowest approval ratings of either of his occupations of the White House. Consequently, he is determined to shift any blame for that away from himself and onto the unfortunate MAGA parasites who depend on him for their political survival.

SEE THIS: Delusional Trump Whines that Americans are ‘Angry at Republicans, But They’re Not Angry At Me’

On Wednesday morning Trump took his presidential post on his pitiful Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, to deflect his failures onto the Republican Party that he supposedly leads. He reposted a comment that complained that “I don’t think the GOP fully grasp how badly they are f*cking up right now.” There’s actually some truth to that, although not in the way it was meant. The post continued with a list of examples of what Trump believes are missteps by GOP that are responsible for his abysmal polling. They include…

  • No true accountability.
  • No meaningful decrease in the deficit.
  • Lots of very long vacations and no work.
  • No bills being passed that REDUCE the government involvement in their lives.
  • Where are all the DOGE cuts that were promised?
  • Where is the SAVE ACT?

It’s true that Republicans have failed to fulfill the disingenuous promises that Trump made during his campaign. But the fault is as much with Trump as it is with the Republicans in Congress.

More importantly, the post left out the two issues that the majority of voters – including the MAGA-tists – are most upset about: Trump’s reckless and illegal war against Iran, and the war and tariff driven inflation that is burdening Americans with higher costs for groceries, gas, healthcare, housing, and more.

The comment that Trump reposted does express the dissatisfaction that Trump’s MAGA cult are feeling. But it mistakenly assumes that the GOP, and by extension Trump, doesn’t “fully grasp how badly they are f*cking up.” Of course they do. And Trump grasps it too. Which is why he’s shoveling the blame onto his party mates to absolve himself.

The real problem is that none of them have the slightest idea how to fix any of it. So the blame will be flying around in every direction between now and the November election. They have already tried blaming Presidents Biden and Obama, but that hasn’t stuck given that they have been out of office for years.

So it’s good to see that Trump is now conceding – at least for the time being – that it is his own party that is F*ing up. And some members of the GOP are reciprocating by refusing to campaign with Trump in the lead up to the midterm elections, because they know that any association with him would hurt their electoral prospects.

In November we will likely see Democrats win majorities in the House of Representatives, and possibly in the Senate as well. And in January the change in Congress will make Trump the lamest of ducks, and the subject of long-delayed oversight hearings and accountability. So if you think he’s whining now, you aint seen nothin’ yet.

BIG BABY TRUMP Threatens to Demolish the Kennedy Center If He Can’t Have His Name On It

Just when you thought that Donald Trump had descended to unimaginable depths in order to provide the most repulsive demonstrations of his egomaniacal narcissism, he goes the extra mile to show that for him there literally is no bottom.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump

Earlier this year, Trump illegally added his name to the front of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. It was an act of extraordinary conceit that was universally condemned. Shortly afterward, there was a lawsuit filed and Trump was ordered to remove his name. Which he did, but then hid the fact that it was removed from the front of the Center behind a giant tarp, which is still there.

SEE THIS: Trump Freaks Out Over Kennedy Center Ruling – Gets Fluffed by Maria Bartiromo on Fox News

Undeterred by the rebuke Trump received from the courts and the public, he is still pursuing his shameless quest for undeserved attention. At first he tried to take a sleazy path around the Court’s ruling by trying to add his name below Kennedy’s in an addendum saying that the Center was “Renovated and Restored by Donald J. Trump.” But now that that scheme didn’t seem to work, he is actually threatening to demolish the entire building if he doesn’t get his way. As reported by the New York Times

“Lawyers for the Trump administration told a federal judge that the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts desperately needs the major renovation ordered by President Trump and raised the specter that it would need to be ‘taken down’ if those plans are blocked. […] The suggestion was something of an aside in the Trump administration’s 21-page filing, which responded to an effort by a Democratic lawmaker to block the center from inscribing the president’s name on the building.”

That’s right. Trump is threatening to demolish the Center, that was built to memorialize a slain president, because he can’t put his name on it in violation of the law. There couldn’t possibly be a better example of how pitifully stunted Trump’s emotional growth is. Or of how grossly maladjusted and self-centered he is. Not that he hasn’t tried. He even illegally bulldozed the East Wing of the White House in order to replace it with his vanity ballroom.

Trump’s mission to destroy the Kennedy Center wasn’t limited to his vandalizing it with his name. He also fired the governing board of the Center, replaced them his own unqualified flunkies, and appointed himself chairman. The result of that was typical of his record of failure. The Times also noted that…

“[T]he closure plans may be a cover for the fact that since Mr. Trump’s takeover of the center, many audience members, artists and donors have fled an increasingly politicized institution. Citing internal financial projections at the center, The Washington Post reported on Tuesday that ticket revenue and fund-raising had plummeted after the board voted to add Mr. Trump’s name to the center, setting it up to fall nearly $100 million short of its revenue target this fiscal year.”

This why the acronym ETTD exists (Everything Trump Touches Dies). And when he fails he to get his way he has to make sure that he kills off whatever he screwed up so that no one else can enjoy it. And worst of all, that’s what he’s doing to America.

Trump’s Treasury Secretary Threatens to ‘Blow Up the Global Financial System’ to Get Iran to Surrender

The fiasco in Iran is now in its sixth month. And despite relentless lying by Donald Trump about imaginary victories, the war drags on with no end in sight. The American people haven’t been fooled by Trump’s frequent declarations of victory and every recent poll reflects their disapproval.

Donald Trump, Woman, Fear

Never mind that, according to Trump, Iran has no ability to fight back. He claims that their financial and military resources have been exhausted and/or destroyed by American bombs. Which isn’t really anything to brag about. Because it means that Trump still can’t defeat what he describes as a broke and defenseless foe.

SEE THIS: Trump Brags that He’s Losing to Iran, a Country He Says Has No Money, Navy, or Air Force

The latest act of desperation on Trump’s part has been to dispatch his Treasury Secretary, Scott Bessent, to issue some new and typically impotent threats aimed at manufacturing a macho image of a wartime president. The problem with this new PR mission is that it has no substance whatsoever, and worse, it actually works against the Trump regime’s objectives.

Bessent called a press conference to announce a series of proposed sanctions on any country that aids Iran financially. He described his goal as the severing of “every economic lifeline that sustains this tyrannical regime until Tehran stands alone.” He calls the mission “Operation Economic Outcast.”

Although Bessent’s presentation ignored the fact that the most potentially effective sanctions have already been in place for decades. and they haven’t been particularly effective. Which led to Bessent’s new proposals that he labeled an “Economic D-Day” that wouldn’t go into effect until January. The press wasn’t impressed, and one reporter asked a pertinent question to get some clarification.

Reporter: You described this as an Economic D-Day, but D-Day wasn’t a threat of an invasion, and the U.S. didn’t give a timeline to Germany. So why not impose the sanctions today?
Bessent: Well, we are giving everyone the opportunity to remedy bad behavior. Why would I want to blow up the global financial system? We believe that it is important to level set and give people a cure period, but they should know that that will move very quickly and that we are serious.”

Let’s break that down, shall we? First of all, Bessent is saying that he doesn’t “want to blow up the global financial system” just now. But that he’s happy to do it in January? So that’s something to look forward to. Furthermore, he thinks the countries that he’s threatening with sanctions need four months to “remedy bad behavior.” During which time the war continues at about $2 billion a day, and unknown numbers of casualties on both sides. and it remains active through the midterm elections.

When (if) sanctions are imposed, they would appear to apply to Iran’s active trading partners, such as China, Russia, Turkey, India, Pakistan, and more. However, neither Bessent nor Trump would identify the countries that might be subject to sanctions, or even reveal what the sanctions would be. And given Trump’s history of making threats that he never carries out – which has earned him the nickname TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out) – it would foolish to assume that these sanctions will ever be imposed. And even if they are, Trump likely would exempt his buddies in China and Russia that are longtime supporters of Iran.

So what was the purpose of this press conference and the flaccid sanctions proposed in it? The only noticeable purpose was to present the Trump regime as pretending to be doing something affirmative with respect to the war against Iran. But in reality, it was such a feeble event that it merely reinforced the perception that they are doing nothing of any significance. And with the war continuing through the midterm elections, Trump and his MAG GOP are cementing their prospective losses.
