Cockeyed Narcissist Trump On the Election: He Thinks He Himself ‘Turned the Whole Thing Around’

The massive yet fragile ego that is currently occupying the White House is threatening to consume all of the Republican election oxygen in the nation. Donald Trump is in the midst of an extended campaign tour that is taking him to mostly red states that ordinarily would be considered GOP certainties.

Donald Trump, Republican, GOP

In this year’s midterm election there is very little that can be regarded as certain. Particularly as far as Republican prospects are concerned. Trump appears to be doing his best to sabotage his MAGA Party. And if that were his intention, he has been wildly successful. Even as he struggles to avoid recognizing it.

SEE THIS: DELUSIONAL: Trump Was Asked About His Record Low Approval Rating That He Thinks Is 60%

During a Sunday morning press gaggle Trump was asked about the election and the agenda that he is pitching to voters in these closing days of the campaign. As happens with greater frequency every day, his responses diverge farther and farther from an any substantive connection to reality. For instance…

Question: What are you hearing is the top issue for voters?
Trump: Well, first of all I hear that we’ve turned the whole thing around…I think the the rallies have turned it, frankly.

Q: What are you hearing is the top issue for voters?Trump: I’m hearing we turned the whole thing around.

— Acyn (@acyn.bsky.social) 2026-10-25T16:54:09.077Z

SERIOUSLY? There was no second of all. And Trump never actually says what he thinks the top issues are. He just goes on a long and tedious rant about how fabulously Republican candidates are doing because of him and his cult rallies where only his most devoted disciples are in attendance.

Trump mentioned specifically the states of Ohio, Texas, Nebraska, and Alaska, all states where Democratic Senate candidates are either leading or tied. They are also all states where a Democratic victory would flip the seat from red to blue. And for good measure he insults his own cult followers in Alaska as being so stupid that they don’t know what the word “incumbent” means.

Judging by what Trump talks about at his rallies, the top issues for him and his MAGA-tists are defeating Democratic communists, preventing the gender transition of every American child, building vanity ballrooms and other tributes to himself, cozying up to foreign dictators, suppressing voters, muzzling and insulting the free press, and making himself and his cronies wealthier.

No wonder Trump couldn’t answer a simple question about his top issues. He is maniacally self-possessed and grossly out of touch with the American people. The actual top issues according to voters include government corruption, the cost of living, Trump’s war against Iran, and Russia’s war against Ukraine (for which Trump sides with Putin). However, on these and every other high priority issue, Trump is deeply underwater.

TRUMP IS TOAST! And so is his MAGA PartyVoters say that they trust Democrats to do a better job on EVERY major issue.

— News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2026-10-24T17:00:30.627Z

There is precious little time left for Trump to really turn anything around. And his pitiful efforts to do so amount to just more promotion of himself. Given his record low approval ratings, that doesn’t seem to be a particularly strong strategy. But it’s all that he has, or cares to focus on. And ironically, that’s exactly the strategy that Democrats hope he sticks with.

DELUSIONAL: Trump Was Asked About His Record Low Approval Rating That He Thinks Is 60%

The impaired mental state of Donald Trump has been a popular subject of conversation throughout the 2026 midterm election season. Particularly by Donald Trump himself, who frequently brings up how often he has been required to take cognitive tests that he thinks are IQ tests.

Click here to post this article on Twitter/X or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Insane, Straight Jacket

Trump’s stump speeches regularly include his boasting that he has “aced” the tests that are designed only to detect early indications of age-related cognitive decline. He brags about his ability to pick out an elephant from a group of cartoon animals, and then declares with preposterous pride that no one else – other politicians, journalists, or even his cult disciples in his audience – could perform as well on these tests.

SEE THIS: Fox News Warns Against Giving the Nuclear Codes to Mentally Declining Presidents – Like Trump?

The malignant narcissism that psychiatric professionals have unofficially diagnosed Trump with prohibits him from acknowledging any personality traits that are less than those of a superior human specimen. As a result, even documented evidence of his many severe flaws are suppressed by his psychosis. And that also extends to any and all criticism, including less than glowingly favorable polling.

Trump demonstrated this disorder when he was asked Saturday by conservative columnist Byron York about his record low approval ratings. York posted Trump’s deranged reply saying that…

“I asked the president about his job approval number. ‘It’s fake,’ he quickly said. ‘It’s fake.’ He pointed to the New York Times – ‘The job approval, they said it’s 37, 38?’ he asked incredulously. ‘I’m not at 38.’ I asked where he thought his approval rating actually stands. ‘I don’t believe I could be beaten by anybody,’ he said. ‘I think that if I needed it, which I don’t, I think 60.'”

True to form, whatever Trump doesn’t like he labels as fake. However, in this case. Trump is right. He is not at 38% in the New York Times poll. He is at 34%. Which is his lowest approval rating recorded in any Times/Siena poll. And other polls show even lower than that.

Not satisfied with merely refuting the polls, Trump offered his own opinion that his approval rating is at a ridiculously high 60%. And, of course, he produced no evidence of that. However, according to the Times poll, Trump is not only at a new low in approval, he is underwater on every major issue that the Times polled. (FYI: A Fox News poll had the same findings).

TRUMP IS TOAST! And so is his MAGA PartyVoters say that they trust Democrats to do a better job on EVERY major issue.

— News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2026-10-24T17:00:30.627Z

Does Trump really think that he has a 60% approval? Or is he just engaging in what he called “truthful hyperbole” in his ghostwritten book “The Art of the Deal”? He is a pathological liar and exaggerator. Recently he insisted that his “REAL” numbers are the best they’ve ever been. But whether he is lying or actually believes it, it is a distortion of reality that makes him a threat to the welfare of the nation. And he’s getting worse by the hour.

Trump Lies About Ilhan Omar’s Name and Demands that She Immediately Resign From Congress

The litany of lies that Donald Trump disgorges on a daily basis are generally easy to refute. They never have a factual basis or provide any documentary proof. But as we get closer to the midterm election that is predicted to blowout much of Trump’s MAGA Party, his lies are becoming ever more fantastical and preposterous.

Click here to post this article on Twitter/X or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump Angry

In the past few weeks Trump has narrowed his diarhetorical ranting to ludicrous allegations that every Democrat is a communist who is determined to force all American children to transition to another gender. He has blurted out every racist trope he can think of. He has done everything he can to make the cost of living rise. And he has aided and abetted foreign dictators in their quest to weaken America. All of this right before an election that he is desperately trying to rig in his favor.

SEE THIS: RIGGED! Trump Bans International Election Observers From Monitoring the Upcoming Midterms

On Friday morning Trump was busying himself as usual by posting deranged comments on his failing Twitter rip off, Truth Social. Among them was a long, racist tirade attacking one of his favorite targets, Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar. It said in summary that…

“It was just revealed that Ilhan Omar’s name is not Ilhan Omar, the one she used to get elected and sworn into Congress, but rather, it’s an entirely different name, Ilhan Nur Said Elmi, and that her last name is, incredibly, also the exact name of her brother” […]

“Therefore, because she used a fake name to be sworn in, I assume she must IMMEDIATELY resign from Congress.”

True to form, Trump is making utterly unfounded allegations that Omar’s birth name is Ilhan Nur Said Elmi. It’s not. And he also lied that her former husband is her brother. He isn’t. Omar has repeatedly denied these crackpot conspiracy theories, and in her seven years of congressional service no evidence has ever been produced to back them up. Therefore, Trump’s demand that she resign from Congress is not just patently false, it’s glaringly ridiculous.

Making unfounded allegations is a standard operating procedure for Trump and his MAGA-strates. He has been whining for years that the 2020 presidential election was “rigged and stolen” from him. But has never offered any proof of it. He claims that there is rampant voter fraud, but can’t seem to document it. He is in a near constant rage over what he calls “fake news,” which always just turns out to be truthful news that he doesn’t like.

If Trump really wants to pursue his attack on Omar, he might want to include a few others who actually did run for office under names that were not their own legal birth names. For instance, James Donald Bowman, aka Vice-President JD Vance. Or Rafael Edward Cruz, aka Sen. Ted Cruz. Or James Michael Johnson, aka GOP House Peaker Mike Johnson. Maybe we should throw them all out of office.

There are surely more. But the way things are going for Republicans, voters are likely to take care of throwing them out in the upcoming election, or the next one in 2028.

HOLY CRAP! Scaredy Trump Has Been Trying to Banish the Entire Press Corps From the White House

Not satisfied with banning a few media companies from covering him at official presidential events, it is now being reported that Donald Trump has actually been pushing to ban the entire press corps from the White House, and turn the WH Press Briefing Room into an indoor swimming pool.

Click here to post this article on Twitter/X or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump Trashes the Media

Since his reoccupation of the White House, Trump has acted on the worst impulses of his massive yet fragile ego by taking revenge on journalists who dared to engage in honest and accurate criticism of him. His vengeance manifested in unlawfully terminating the First Amendment rights of the Associated Press, CNN, MS NOW, and Politico, all of whom he is trying desperately to prohibit from covering his presidency.

SEE THIS: Trump Says He Banned the Media Because it is a ‘Threat to National Security and Must Be Stopped’

The latest news about Trump’s animosity toward the free press comes in an article by Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan of the New York Times headlined ““Trump Pushes to Evict the Press From the White House.“ The article describes how far down the road to fascist media suppression Trump has already gone.

“In late August, during one of Karoline Leavitt’s final meetings with President Trump in the Oval Office, he pitched her on an idea in front of several senior aides. He told her to move reporters out of the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room, which would effectively remove news organizations from the White House. It would be, he told her, her ‘last legacy.’

“But the proposal never moved forward while she was there. The president had put the request to her several times over months, according to three people with knowledge of the discussions.” […]

“During earlier discussions, most of Mr. Trump’s senior aides agreed it served him better to keep the media nearby. But Mr. Trump has grown more enraged about his press coverage, and other advisers of growing influence have encouraged him to take drastic measures to punish journalists.”

Clearly Trump despises the free press and is determined to cause as much harm to it as he can. And even as he craves its attention to satiate his malignant narcissism, his obsession with silencing any and all negative accounts of his many failures takes precedence.

Notice that the arguments made by Trump’s aides to keep the media in the White House were centered on what “served him better,” rather than what served the American people or the Constitution. None of which the MAGA regime cares about.

It is also notable that Trump’s fixation on throwing out the press comes after he had already taken control of who is permitted into the press room, and his Propaganda Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, had repopulated it with far-right, radical, lunatics like Breitbart, One America News, and Lindell TV.

No one should take comfort in the fact that Trump has yet to sweep all of the media out of the White House. He is still likely battling with his own hatred of the press and his addiction to attention. Coupled with his incompetence, it is not surprising that he hasn’t completed his media cleansing. But he is nothing if not persistent, and will surely keep trying. Hopefully the press will keep reporting no matter how deranged Trump gets.

Trump’s FCC Boss Threatens to Punish Media for Reporting Polls that Show How Unpopular Trump Is

The most media averse president in American history, Donald Trump, is notching yet another new low in his mission to exact revenge on journalists who dare to cover him and his MAGA movement honestly. This is part of Trump’s ongoing crusade against the Constitution’s First Amendment protection of a free press.

Click here to post this article on Twitter/X or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump Walking the Plank

Apparently it has not been enough for Trump to repeatedly file lawsuits against the media, or to banish them from the White House, or to lob infantile insults at reporters (usually women), or to assist his billionaire pals in media acquisitions, or even to accuse them of treason and threaten to imprison them.

SEE THIS: Wannabe Dictator Trump Promises to Prosecute the ‘Country Threatening Treason’ of the Media

Trump’s animosity to the free press is a double edged sword. He hates it when it is less than wholly worshipful. But he still craves the attention it brings him. And as he walks that fine line he directs his flunkies to persecute the press in order to force them into compliance.

On this occasion that resulted in an ominous message from Trump’s FCC (Fascist Communications Commission) chairman, Brendan Carr, that was reported by Politico, one of the news companies that Trump is currently banning. Carr tweeted that…

“During this election season, there has been a significant surge in entirely Fake Polls and Suppression Polls designed to do nothing more than interfere with the regular functioning of the electoral process and alter the normal patterns of voter turnout and enthusiasm.

Note that Carr doesn’t bother to cite a single example of this “significant surge” of “Fake Polls.” Nor does he document any evidence that they are designed to interfere with the electoral process. If Trump is having problems with turnout and enthusiasm, it’s due entirely to his his own dreadful performance in office that has sown record lows in favorability. But he went to say that…

“Many journalists and broadcasters have been amplifying or airing these Polls without regard to basic journalistic ethics and without informing the public that those Polls lack a scientific, accurate, or even real basis.

Once again, Carr doesn’t cite a single instance of a journalist “amplifying” any poll that fails to meet “basic journalistic ethics.” And the media has no obligation to inform the public of a lack of “real basis” when no such lack exists. But he still wasn’t finished. He continued…

“The FCC takes these issues seriously. Broadcasters are prohibited by the terms of their federal licenses from engaging in News Distortion or promoting Broadcast Hoaxes. It is important that broadcasters comply with their public interest obligations. After all, the country benefits greatly when Americans can trust and rely on the media to report the news fairly and accurately.

Once again, again, Carr makes wild, unsupported claims that unnamed broadcasters are “engaging in News Distortion or promoting Broadcast Hoaxes.” How dare they? That, after all, is Trump’s specialty. And the country would certainly benefit greatly if Americans could rely on a president who wasn’t a pathological liar. Then Carr wrapped up with a threat, saying that…

“Broadcasters are advised to avoid engaging in News Distortions or running Broadcast Hoaxes by airing Polls that would violate their regulatory obligations.”

Carr is going way out of the bounds of his jurisdiction by presuming that he can determine what constitutes “News Distortions.” And it’s clear that his determinations of distortions would just be whatever Trump doesn’t like. What’s more, Carr has no authority to punish national broadcasters who are not licensed by the federal government. So this entire episode is a blatant attempt to intimidate the media and impose on their freedom to report as they see fit. It’s a tactic that Trump learned from his idols Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un.

For the record, Deadline reports that there actually was a recent fake poll. However, it was designed deliberately to expose the cracks in “how polling data is vetted,” not to affect the outcome of any election. This phony Wedgewood Poll was revealed by its creators shortly after they completed their experiment. It hardly represented a surge in fake polls. And Carr never mentioned it.

TOO LATE! Trump Says He Will Spend $400 Million in Futile Effort to Avoid a Midterm MAGA Massacre

In the last two weeks of an election cycle there are frequently frantic candidates scurrying around to make their closing arguments and shore up their campaign’s efforts to prevail. That generally manifests in advertising blitzes and multiple media appearances. And this midterm election cycle is no different for the most part. However, where their are differences they come from a familiar source.

Click here to post this article on Twitter/X or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Snake Tongue

Donald Trump may think he’s fooling people with his constant claims of unmitigated successes, but the more dismal reality is evident for all to see. For instance, Trump says that he’s winning (or has already won) his war against Iran. He says that prices for gas and groceries and everything else have come way down. He brags incessantly that his mere presence in a campaign guarantees electoral victory. Which makes you wonder why Democrats are happier about his “help” than Republicans are.

SEE THIS: GOOD NEWS: Trump Will Be Campaigning for Republicans ‘Every Single Day’ Until the Election

As this election season comes to a close, Trump has just pledged that he is finally making a financial contribution to his party’s candidates. Something that he has not done all year. He posted a comment on his dedicated propaganda platform, Truth Social saying that…

“Because of my belief in the Republican Party, and all of our Policies and Principles, and especially after witnessing what is taking place in France, and other locations throughout Europe, I am pleased to announce that, having to do with the Most Important Midterm Elections in our Country’s History, I have spent, or will be spending, over 400 Million Dollars by Election Day. More than 300 Million Dollars has already been spent on Advertising, Direct and Indirect Voter Contact, Rallies, Rally Arenas, Telerallies, Get Out the Vote Programs, Election Integrity, and more. It is my Great Honor to do so on behalf of the Republican Party, which has done so much to bring our Country back from the Edge of Oblivion.”

That’s right! Trump has such a strong belief in the Republican Party that he waited until two weeks before election day to make a sizable donation for what he says is “the Most Important Midterm Elections in our Country’s History.” Although he says that $300 million has already been spent, there is no record of that in any election funding reports.

Does anyone actually trust Trump to spend this money? Not only would it be out of character for him to make good on this promise, but he doesn’t say where he would get the funds to donate. The only ads he has run so far he paid for illegally with taxpayer money, even after being told to stop by a federal judge.

Assuming that Trump really did spend $300 million on GOP campaigns already (doubtful), what benefit has resulted from it? Republicans are still trailing badly in many contests that a year ago they were expected to win. One explanation is that Trump is counting the spending on his cult rallies and the arenas. Those events were more for Trump than his MAGA comrades. The candidates in those areas frequently declined to appear with him. And their polling has not improved.

This alleged campaign donation is just another empty promise by Trump to get some favorable press. Like everything else, he’s only in it for himself. His previous promises of cash dividends were essentially bribes to get people to vote for his MAGA clan. He literally promised to give every adult in the country $5,000 – more than a trillion dollars of taxpayer funds – if Republicans win. And he made no exceptions for millionaires or murderers, rapists or drug dealers, or any other villainous persons, such as members of his family.

Other instances where Trump has used taxpayer funds as bribes for votes include offering FEMA payouts to victims of natural disasters in red states. And just this weekend, he offered another multibillion dollar bailout for farmers to offset the damage done by his idiotic energy policies and his war against Iran.

OH GREAT! Trump is proposing yet another multibillion dollar taxpayer bailout to offset the damage done by his idiotic energy policies and his war against Iran.

— News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2026-10-20T09:47:56.736Z

Of course, all of these examples of political bribery are aimed at helping Republicans from whom Trump will then demand return favors. This is not how you run a constitutional democracy. It’s how you run an authoritarian dictatorship. Which is what Trump obviously aspires to.

Trump’s Economics Czar Brags that the Economy is Booming for People Who Stay in Nice Hotels

In the closing weeks of the midterm elections, Donald Trump and his regime associates are making their last ditch efforts to avoid the Blue Tsunami that threatens to flush out the MAGA Republican majorities in Congress.

Click here to post this article on Twitter/X or Click here to post on Bluesky

Trump Baby on Cash Pile

Trump himself is in the midst of a nationwide campaign tour to try to boost Republican turnout. Although his itinerary is almost exclusively red states that should already be expected to turnout for GOP candidates. That says something about how desperate their party is, and how despairing they are of their prospects. And given his record low approval ratings, no one is happier about Trump’s participation in the campaign than Democrats.

SEE THIS: GOOD NEWS: Trump Will Be Campaigning for Republicans ‘Every Single Day’ Until the Election

The closing arguments for Republicans appear to be avoiding entirely the issues that the American people care about, such as the cost of living and the war in Iran. Instead, Trump and the GOP are focusing on transgender athletes, imaginary communist candidates, and Trump’s ballrooms, arches, and golf courses.

The obliviousness of the MAGA crowd is off the charts. On Monday morning Trump’s chairman of his Economic Advisory Council, Kevin Hassett, was interviewed on CNBC to deliver his routine and preposterously rosy outlook. CNBC’s Joe Kernan noted the current polling that predicts Democrats will win majorities in both the House and the Senate. Then he asked Hassett if he thought the polls were correct. And like a good MAGA-tist Hassett parroted Dear Leader Trump’s doctrine that all the polls are fake, Elaborating, he said that…

“If the economic polls that you’re talking about were correct, then people wouldn’t be taking trips to nice hotels. They wouldn’t be flying. They wouldn’t be buying cars. They wouldn’t be doing all the things they do when they’re feeling good about the economy.

“True sentiment is measured by what you see people are doing. And what you see people are doing is they’re acting like we’re in a boom. And the reason they are doing that is because, despite what the polls say, we are in a boom.”

Hassett: "If economic polls were correct, then people wouldn't be taking trips to nice hotels, they wouldn't be flying, they wouldn't be buying cars, they wouldn't be doing all the things they do when they're feeling good about the economy… people are acting like we're in a boom. We are in a boom"

— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2026-10-19T13:01:50.546Z

Well…That’s comforting. So if you’re a jet-setting car buyer who stays in nice hotels, the economy is booming. Unfortunately, everybody else is struggling to keep their heads above water. It’s notable that what Hassett and his kind “see people doing” is living the same life of luxury that they live.

They don’t see regular, working class people. So they think that those people are only complaining about the economy because of the polls, rather than because of their own experiences and knowledge of their own finances. That’s what is driving the polls, not the other way around.

Can Trump and his team really be that out of touch? Or do they just lie and hope that their gullible cult followers will believe them? This is not the first time that they have appeared to be considering only the welfare of the wealthy. A couple of months ago Trump bragged that “The economy is doing unbelievably from the standpoint of Wall Street.” Which doesn’t really make life easier for anyone on Main Street.

This is how the elitist MAGA-strates think. If it’s good for them and their billionaire pals, it’s good for America. It’s the Trumpian version of Ronald Reagan’s discredited “Trickle Down Theory.” It didn’t work then, and it doesn’t work now. And it’s a really awful closing argument for a tightly fought midterm election. But other than childishly mocking people for their looks, or their names, or that they like vegetables, it’s all the MAGA-tists have got.

CBS Reporter Deletes and Apologizes for Blatantly Biased Tweet Smearing Abdul El-Sayed

When right-wing billionaire, and Donald Trump pal, David Ellison bought Paramount he swore that he wouldn’t interfere with the news programming on CBS which Paramount owns. Then he immediately put the far right Bari Weiss in charge of the whole news operation. He knew how Weiss would run things, so that his interference wouldn’t be necessary.

Click here to post this article on Twitter/X or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump on CBS News (See BS)

And Ellison was right. This new regime at CBS wasted no time slanting the news to align with Trump’s MAGA agenda. Which brought about numerous resignations and firings that tilted the network farther to the right, including on iconic programs like 60 Minutes. This had the predictable result of triggering a stark decline in viewership. Clearly there was no intention of running a fair news enterprise, despite the hollow claims.

SEE THIS:: Trump’s FCC Chair Says that CBS News Will Have to Employ a ‘Bias Monitor’ to Police Their Reporting

Evidence of the political partisanship at CBS was displayed on Saturday following a town hall with Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, candidate for the Senate in Michigan. CBS correspondent Jan Crawford posted a tweet commenting on an exchange between El-Sayed and an audience member named Tommy. The exchange included the following…

Tommy: Will you disavow the Muslim Brotherhood?
El-Sayed: Sure. Yeah. Absolutely, Why are you asking the question?
Tommy: Because I have not heard you disavow them yet. […]
El-Sayed: You’re asking the question because implicitly you assume that I’ll have dual loyalties, right? You assume that somehow I wouldn’t disavow, or that I’ll have some higher order allegiance than the Constitution.

In his response El-Sayed “Absolutely” disavowed the Muslim Brotherhood. And he also gave Tommy a lesson in the Constitution’s protections of religious freedom. But somehow that wasn’t good enough for Crawford, who tweeted…

“Tommy, thank you. I had to watch this twice to catch Dr. Abdul El-Sayed’s nanosecond, ‘yeah, absolutely,’ response. His subsequent uninterrupted diatribe proving your exact point is the kind of spectacular self-own is the kind ppl only dream about triggering. Congrats.”

WTF? Did anyone else have to watch it twice to hear El-Sayed’s disavowal, which he actually made two times? And how did El-Sayed’s “diatribe” (a loaded word) on the Constitution prove Tommy’s point that El-Sayed must have dual loyalties because he’s a Muslim?

Crawford’s tweet was so biased and inappropriate that even her bosses at CBS were displeased. They ordered her to delete it, which she did saying that…

“Earlier, I tweeted a video from an Abdul El-Sayed town hall. I deleted that tweet because it was a violation of CBS News standards. I apologize.”

You have to wonder what specific “standards” Crawford was in violation of. Notice that Crawford only mentions that she deleted the video, not her biased remarks. So maybe that was what violated CBS’ standards: showing a video that made a Democrat look good.

What’s more, CBS’ standards also don’t seem to include conducting any investigation of Tommy who, as it turns out, was a partisan plant. According to Marisa Kabas of The Handbasket, he is the son of a GOP strategist, and was a staffer for Republican Sen. Josh Hawley. And after being dressed down by El-Sayed, he abruptly left the hall. But not before refusing to disavow imposing Christian religious doctrine into American law.

For good measure, El-Sayed’s opponent, Mike Rogers, went on CNN and, despite the video evidence, denied that El-Sayed disavowed the Muslim Brotherhood. Even after he was told by CNN’s Dana Bash that El-Sayed did make a clear disavowal, Rogers whined, “No, that’s not true.”

The unbridled bigotry of Republicans has long been a core element of their ideology. And it’s sad to see it being adopted by a CBS correspondent. El-Sayed’s reply to Tommy went viral because it showed him as a smart, compassionate, patriot. And that ought to have been the takeaway of the reporting by Crawford and CBS. But that seems like too much to hope for in the Trump/Ellison era.

POOR BABY: Sean Hannity Sounds Deeply Depressed While Expressing His Midterm Election Optimism

The midterm elections are now a little over two weeks away. And most polls are currently predicting bad news for Donald Trump and his Republican comrades. Democrats have better than even odds of winning majorities in both the House and the Senate.

Click here to post this article on Twitter/X or Click here to post on Bluesky

Fox News Sean Hannity

In response, Trump has embarked on a national MAGA crusade to fire up his glassy-eyed cult followers. Although his itinerary of almost exclusively red states doesn’t appear to be aimed at producing a GOP congressional victory, but merely avoiding a devastating Republican blowout. And the biggest supporters of Trump’s crusade are Democrats, who welcome the highly unpopular president campaigning for Republicans who don’t even want him in their states.

SEE THIS: GOOD NEWS: Trump Will Be Campaigning for Republicans ‘Every Single Day’ Until the Election

Among those who still regard Trump as a positive contributor to the Republican cause is Sean Hannity of Trump’s Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News. On Friday night he aired a segment wherein he intended to add his analysis of the unfolding election. And while he described what he was feeling as “optimism,” his voice and demeanor didn’t seem to agree. To the contrary, Hannity sounded downright depressed and utterly lacking in confidence. See for yourself…

“I am watching these Senate races and, day by day, I am getting more cautiously optimistic. Let me explain why.

“I do believe that Maine is definitely going our way. I think this guy [Troy Jackson] was out of his mind telling a woman to shut up. I think [Abdul] El-Sayed is collapsing under the heavy burden of his lying. The same with [James] Talarico. I see Ohio coming back, Iowa coming back. I’m not as worried as the media wanted me to be about places like Kansas and Nebraska.

“So I think that things are generally headed in a much better direction. I might be wrong. It will only mean something if everybody goes out and votes and does their part, and I hope they do.”

Does Hannity sound optimistic to you? He’s making up stories about “collapsing” campaigns for Democrats, when the polls show Democrats gaining or steady. You’ll notice that he doesn’t cite a single poll to support his rosy claims. Even more telling is his admission that “I might be wrong.” That’s the sort of concession that Hannity rarely makes. Particularly if he actually believes the hype he’s spewing.

Finally, Hannity begs his viewers to show up at the polls. But he’s not being especially firm about it. Rather than insisting that it’s a critical civic duty and that the GOP needs their support to save the nation from communists, he lapses into a rather weak appeal of “hope” that viewers do their part. How inspiring!

If Hannity is this despondent about the future fate of the GOP, it is indicative of how deep a hole they are in. It’s an unspoken confession of futility and defeat. But he’s right about one thing: “It will only mean something if everybody goes out and votes.” And that goes for Democrats too. Although from the looks of it. Democrats are a lot more upbeat and enthusiastic about turning out in record numbers to save democracy and crush Trump’s dwindling MAGA movement.

If Democrats maintain their excitement through November 3, we’ll see even more miserable mood swings from Hannity, from his comrades at Fox News, and from their Dear Leader Trump, who will likely erupt like Vesuvius, knowing that he has become the lamest of ducks for the remaining two years of his term. That is, if he is even able to finish it.

WINNING? Trump’s Truth Social is Bleeding Users as it Suffers a Brutal 30% Drop

Four years ago Donald Trump launched his own official propaganda platform, Truth Social, after he was banned from Twitter “due to the risk of further incitement of violence.” That was before Elon Musk took over and later restored Trump’s account.

Donald Trump, Twitter

Ever since Truth Social began it has been an abysmal failure. Much like almost every other Trump business. After all, the guy who bankrupted four casinos, and had both his phony university and scam charity shuttered by the courts for fraud, can hardly be expected to make a profit on more conventional enterprises. And with regard to Truth Social, Trump is living down to his rancid reputation. As reported by The Independent…

“Donald Trump’s Truth Social has seen a staggering drop in users — despite the president’s steady stream of daily posts on the platform. Truth Social’s traffic fell more than 30 percent over the past year, according to data from digital intelligence firm Similarweb. The social media platform averaged about 260,000 daily users last month, a sharp drop from its peak of 420,000 in June 2025.”

So in the span of one year – an election year – Truth Social lost about a third of its traffic. And while Trump is posting every day like madman for his 13 million glassy-eyed cult followers, his entire website isn’t generating as much traffic in a whole day as a single moderately successful tweet. For instance, this tweet got more than 300,000 views. By comparison, Twitter/X has 130 million daily users.

Truth Social’s parent company, Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), recently issued a quarterly report that showed a loss of $238 million on paltry revenue of less than $2 million. And it’s stock has crated to an all time low of 6.99, a 92% decline from its high point. This is even after the company sought to illegally sell insider trading info for $100,000.

True to form, TMTG and Truth Social have been practicing on the fringes of legality from the start. It’s no wonder that the company is shedding dollars and dupes. What follows are some more examples…

Trump’s Scheme to Monetize Insider Trading on Truth Social is Getting Ripped By Republicans
Truth Social announced that well-heeled investors and financial institutions will be able to buy “fastest access” to the market moving comments that Trump posts so that way they can profit by trading on this insider information. These Wall Street traders and investment firms would pony up as much as $100,000 a month to Trump for this privilege..

YOU’RE FIRED: Trump Media’s CEO, Devin Nunes, Gets Booted From the Failing Truth Social Company
Devin Nunes, who had no relevant business experience whatsoever, proceeded to run the sham operation into the ground. He packaged it with a variety of unrelated undertakings, such as cryptocurrency, mutual funds, gambling, and even an attempt at AI that seemed to go rogue.

Trump’s Cratering Truth Social Stock Reflects the Catastrophe of Everything That Trump Does
Trump Media and Technology Group Corp. plans to issue a new cryptocurrency, which will be distributed among its shareholders. […] The coins won’t represent ownership of DJT shares, and may not be transferable or exchanged for cash.

Trump’s Scammy Media Stock, and Truth Social Parent, Completes a Classic Pump and Dump
The merger of the Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) with TAE Technologies, a nuclear fusion startup. TAE’s energy products are at present speculative and they have no facilities generating any power resources. Nevertheless, the news caused TMTG’s stock to surge 33%, but two weeks later reversed course back to around $12.80. So anyone who jumped in on the news is already suffering a 25% loss.

Trump Crime Syndicate: Investors Arrested for Insider Trading in Failing Truth Social Scam
Trump’s associates in his truthless, anti-social media venture were arrested and charged with insider trading. Reports indicate that “the three individuals together made more than $22 million in illegal profits.”

Truth Social Disease: Ads on Trump’s Twitter Ripoff are Mostly Scams and Trump-Fluffing Merch
Advertisers are afraid of their ads being juxtaposed with hate speech and other noxious content. Consequently, the only advertisers who are willing to shell out are sketchy scammers, conspiracy theorists, and junk peddlers.
