With the midterm election now only about one month away, the Trump regime is getting more desperate to turn around the abysmal prospects predicted for Trump and his MAGA Republican confederates. And as Trump becomes more desperate, he becomes more unhinged.

Virtually every poll shows that Democrats are heading toward blowout victories that could wind up with them in the majority in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. Those polls also show that Trump is trailing Democrats on just about all of the issues that Americans regard as most important, including the economy and Trump’s reckless and illegal war against Iran.

In a bid to prevent the Trump Titanic from sinking, his former Propaganda Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, visited Fox News to deliver what she must have thought would be good news for her fellow Republicans (video below). She said that…

“I was with the president today, checking in with our friend and my old boss, and I will tell you he is ready to hit the road. He will be on the road almost every single day in the month of October, campaigning for Republicans up and down the ballot, and drawing this contrast between the common sense vision that he shares with Republicans on Capitol Hill, and the far-left vision of the radical Democrats who are on the ballot who we cannot allow control of this city.”

HOORAY! So while the nation is embroiled in the war that Trump started – and is losing – in Iran, and while Americans are struggling to make ends meet, Trump will be devoting his time and energy to campaigning for his MAGA comrades. That is if he can tear himself away from his pet projects to build a vanity ballroom and invade Greenland.

The best part of this news is that any attention that Trump gives to Republican candidates will probably make them less likely to prevail in November. That’s why many of them are asking him to stay away. and if he shows up uninvited, they don’t attend the event with him. The only people happier about Trump’s promise to campaign are Democrats nationwide.

However, Leavitt wasn’t finished with her pathetic propagandizing. She added some commentary on her views of what Democrats stand for. And it was as bizarre a spectacle as you can imagine. She enumerated policies that Democrats never held, and which were actually completely fabricated, over-the-top bullshittery. And she had the gall to declare at the end of her harangue that it was “not an exaggeration.”

“Over the next 35 days Republicans – and I know president Trump is going to do it – must ruthlessly prosecute the Democrats as who they are. Extreme, far-left liberals who want to destroy our economy, want to take away your private property, raise your taxes, take your hard-earned money, abolish prisons, abolish police, open our borders to insane people all over this world, and end America as we know her and love her. That is not an exaggeration.”

SERIOUSLY! Do you remember when Democrats promised to “destroy our economy,” and “take away your private property,” and “abolish prisons,” and “open our borders to insane people”? Yeah, neither does anyone else. And if this is the caliber of campaigning that Trump will be engaging in for the next month, Democrats are going to need a venue even bigger than Trump’s giant ballroom to hold their post-election celebration.

That said, take nothing for granted. Be sure to vote and get all of your friends and family to vote. We can’t just rely on the stupidity of Trump and Republicans, no matter how reliable that is.
