Gov. Newsom Slams Trump for His New Official Federal Funding Requirement: Sucking Up to Trump

The malignant narcissism of Donald Trump has been observed by many mental health professionals for as long as he has been a public figure. It is the central driving force of his belligerence and hostility toward anyone who is even mildly critical of him, or less than unflinchingly worshipful.

Donald Trump, Snowflakes

Trump’s egomaniacal behavior is evident in nearly every thing he says and does. Longtime Trump watchers were aware of his self-centered maliciousness when he was posing as a Manhattan real estate mogul, when he playacted as a successful businessman while hosting a reality TV game show, and most disturbingly, during his past and current occupations of the White House. Through it all he was unable to disguise his severe cognitive infirmities.

SEE THIS: WHO’S DERANGED? Trump on Biden Clones, Transgender Mice, Autopens, and His Own Mental Anguish

So no one should be surprised that Trump’s priorities for implementing policies are most closely associated with his personal perceptions of how reverentially he is treated by others. And just to make it crystal clear, Trump has formally announced it to the world in statement he made to the press on Wednesday morning. The decree came in his answer to a question from a reporter about whether there would be any impact on his allocation of wildfire relief in California as a result of his contentious relationship with Gov. Gavin Newsom. Trump’s reply and Newsom’s response follow (video below). Trump raged that…

“Yeah, maybe. The man is incompetent…Hatred is never a good thing in politics. Where you don’t like somebody, you don’t respect somebody, it’s harder for that person to get money if you’re on top.”

And there you have it. After rambling incoherently about “cleaning the forests,” Trump admitted that he doesn’t care about the welfare of the American people. He doesn’t care about those who have suffered from natural disasters or other misfortunes. He will only provide assistance if he actually likes the governor or the residents of the state where those people happened to live when misfortune struck them. And if he doesn’t like them, to hell with them. To that Newsom said…

“Sucking up to the President should not be a requirement for him to do the right thing for the American people…Only a truly disturbed person would threaten to withhold aid from victims because they don’t like someone.”

This isn’t the first time that Trump has publicly revealed that his personal opinion of the potential recipients of largesse from the U.S. government would determine whether any funds would be forthcoming. He said the same thing just yesterday with regard to the dispensation of foreign aid, telling UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer that “The UK is very well protected. You know why? Because I like them, that’s why.”

This is classic Trump. If he likes you, he – not America – will protect you. But he will stop liking you if you criticize him.For the record, he likes dictators such as Putin, Xi, Kim, and Orbán. He doesn't like democratic leaders such as Macron, Carney, Sheinbaum, or Zelenskyy.

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-06-17T09:58:32.889Z

This also isn’t the first swipe that Trump has taken at Gov. Newsom. Trump has been rattled by what he falsely claims are “riots” in Los Angeles, but are actually mostly peaceful demonstrations against Trump’s unconstitutional deployments of the National Guard and Marines against Americans exercising their First Amendment rights to “redress grievances.” Trump them blamed the ensuing chaos on Gov. Newsom and called for him to be arrested. To that, Newsom had an appropriate response that spelled out the imminent threat that Trump represents to American democracy.

The lesson from all of this is that Trump does indeed aspire to authoritarian control of the country, and that any soft-pedaling of that threat is dangerously naïve. Trump should be removed from office as quickly as possible, through either impeachment or the invocation of the 25th Amendment declaring him unfit to serve. Any delay will only accelerate the potential for harm.

The Putin Whisperer: Trump Brags that ‘Putin Speaks to Me, He Doesn’t Speak to Anybody Else’

The steamy romance between Donald Trump and his favorite authoritarian dictator (besides himself), Vladimir Putin, has been a staple of the gossip rags for years. Trump is hopelessly infatuated with the Russian tyrant who can do no wrong in Trump’s eyes. Throughout his occupation of the White House, Trump has never uttered an unkind word about his hero and mentor.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin

No matter what is happening on the ground, Trump praises Putin and viciously maligns anyone who dares to oppose him. For instance, Trump heralds the savage invader Putin as a peacemaker, while castigating Ukrainian President Zelenskyy as a dictator who wants the war, that is slaughtering his people, to continue. But despite Trump’s slobbering fealty to Putin, the feeling is not mutual. Putin recently mocked Trump’s vanity birthday parade…

SEE THIS: Russia Trolls Trump’s Birthday Parade, Turning it Into $45 Million of Anti-American Propaganda

On Monday morning Trump arrived in Canada for a meeting of the G7 nations. Naturally, he established himself as the pariah of the group in an early press avail with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. In the few minutes that they spoke to the press Trump managed to insult his hosts and lie profusely about why Russia wasn’t there…

“Putin speaks to me, he doesn’t speak to anybody else, because he was very insulted when he got thrown out of the G8. As you would be. As I would be. He was very insulted. He was thrown out by Trudeau, who convinced one or two people, along with Obama. He was thrown out and he’s not a happy person about it, I can tell you that. He doesn’t even speak to the people who threw him out. And I agree with him.”

TRUMP: "Putin speaks to me. He doesn't speak to anybody else."Trump is insulting his Canadian hosts while slobbering all over his BFF/boss, Vladimir Putin.

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-06-16T17:54:10.719Z

It’s rather chilling that Trump boasts of his alliance with Putin as if he were his public relations agent and the only path to communicating with him. But it’s typical that Trump shows concern for Putin’s hurt feelings. If Putin felt insulted by being ousted from the G7, maybe he shouldn’t have invaded a peaceful neighboring country.

What’s more, Trump is displaying either his dishonesty or his ignorance or his ignorant dishonesty, when he complains about former PM Justin Trudeau throwing Putin out of the G7. Because in 2014 when Russia was ousted from the group, the Conservative Party’s Stephen Harper was the Canadian PM. And Obama didn’t need to be convinced to cast Russia out. He was a leader of the initiative. Finally, it wasn’t “one or two people” who wanted Russia removed. It was a unanimous decision by all seven of the other member nations.

Then, after lying about Trudeau, Obama, and the G7, Trump repeated his frequent lie that “you wouldn’t have a war right now if you had Russia in. And you wouldn’t have a war right now if I were president four years ago.” He says that about virtually every international incident from Ukraine, to Gaza, to Iran, and more. Never mind that his own words contradict that egocentric nonsense…

SEE ALSO: Trump Destroys His Own Claim that Russia Wouldn’t Have Invaded Ukraine if He Were President

Trump’s confession that Putin speaks through him obviates the need for Putin to be readmitted to the G7. Why bother if Trump is there to speak for him? And no one is more devoted to the interests of Putin and Russia than Trump himself. So before Putin goes back into the G7, he should go to The Hague and be tried for war crimes. And Trump can go along as his defense counsel – or co-defendant.

Russia Trolls Trump’s Birthday Parade, Turning it Into $45 Million of Anti-American Propaganda

The post-mortem on The military parade that Donald Trump staged to celebrate his 79th birthday did not turn out to be the sort of tribute that he hoped for. The attendance didn’t get anywhere near the 250,000 MAGA cult devotees that his press flacks predicted. Trump couldn’t even get very many of his congressional Republican sycophants to show up.

Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin

These poor results look even worse when compared to the estimated five million American patriots who came out in support of the “No Kings” demonstrations held in more than 2,000 cities to oppose Trump’s authoritarian aspirations. And if he thought that there would be a silent majority cheering for him on their sofas at home, he is going to be sorely disappointed by that as well.

SEE THIS: Trump Hypes His Puerile ‘Perade’ as TV Networks and the Weather Conspire to Depose His MAGA-STY

Sadly, Trump’s failure and broad-based unpopularity rubbed off on the proud soldiers who were compelled to participate in his charade …er… parade. It wasn’t their fault that Trump tried to feed his ego by forcing them to perform as pawns in his partisan political pageant. And it wasn’t their fault that he organized it so poorly. However, they unfairly suffered from the fallout of his ignorance and incompetence.

One particularly disturbing consequence of Trump’s antics was that his good buddy, Vladimir Putin, was able to take advantage of his folly to the detriment of the troops and America’s dignity. The Russian media quickly filled with images of Trump’s birthday bash in a decidedly negative light…

Russia is trolling Trump's vanity birthday parade. So he just spent $45 million to buy Vladimir Putin some anti-America propaganda material. #TrumpisaNationalDisgrace(Via bsky.app/profile/juli…: Captions say "How Trump imagined his parade / What he actually saw")

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-06-15T18:05:19.676Z

The American people can’t be thrilled that Trump sunk $45 million into material for Russia to embark on a propaganda campaign to mock America. And they did it with an emphasis on how pathetically Trump attempted to emulate the sort of military spectacle that Russia specializes in. While Trump has long craved to produce a similar affair, he didn’t bother to insure that he could pull it off.

The result is that Trump has embarrassed America in the eyes of the world. Not that Trump will ever see it that way. Because his only reviews of the event will come from his own toadies or those on Fox News. Speaking of which, the “Curvy Couch” potatoes of Fox and Friends are already on the job. Co-host Lawrence Jones interviewed Trump’s former Acting Secretary of Homeland Security, Chad Wolf, and asked him whether Trump “put fear in the hearts.” of America’s adversaries who watched this parade…

Jones: What does this say to our enemies as well? Because they’re watching. They’re always watching. Does it put fear in their hearts knowing that this is a president that is willing to rebuild the military, right?
Wolf: Yeah, no doubt. […] I think our adversaries around the world know President Trump means business.

Yeah, no doubt. Judging from the video above, that’s exactly how Russia sees things. They are quaking with fear due to the visage of the Mango Monarch and his exhibition of extraordinary manliness. We can now expect Putin to surrender and pull his troops out of Ukraine, and pressure his allies in Iran to submit to Israel. Any minute now.

Trump Hypes His Puerile ‘Perade’ as TV Networks and the Weather Conspire to Depose His MAGA-STY

The big day has finally arrived when Donald Trump gets his long craved charade …er… parade paying homage to his self-declared magnificence. Although it may not materialize in quite the way that he imagined. In his pursuit to be coronated as America’s first monarch, Trump has been doing his best to earn the title. And as usual, his best is pretty damn pitiful.

King Donald Trump in the Oval Office.

In just the last week “King” Trump has deployed Marines to the streets of Los Angeles, called for Gov. Gavin Newsom to be arrested, said nothing when the Speaker of the House called for Newsom to be tarred and feathered, directed the arrest of Newark Mayor Ras Baraka and the indictment of Rep. LaMonica McIver, approved of Sen. Alex Padilla being tackled and handcuffed by his FBI, and flip-flpped on his own mass deportation policy.

SEE THIS: TACO Trump Chickens Out on His Mass Deportation Plans When it Affects Him and His Wealthy Pals

So imagine how disappointed Trump will be when his parade is received with less than the unanimous acclaim of his loyal subjects. Much less. Consequently, he is pulling out all the stops to promote the event. Recognizing that God is among the conspirators plotting to spoil his birthday bash, he posted the following comment on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, to encourage his faithful to attend, despite the dangerous weather forecast. Unfortunately, his inbred ignorance resulted in his promotion of a “perade.”

TRUMP: "A rainy day PERADE brings good luck." ?In that case, best of luck today, birthday baby.

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-06-14T16:08:27.633Z

What’s more, Trump’s persistent need to be the center of attention at all times is at risk of going unfulfilled. According to Variety, “ABC News, NBC News and CBS News are unlikely to pre-empt regular TV programming for coverage of the event.” And according to Politico only seven of the 50 members of Congress they asked say they will be attending the affair.

Meanwhile, the hundreds of “NO KINGS” demonstrations that are also taking place today are already drawing massive crowds and nationwide television coverage. All of this is working to the disadvantage of the petulant president. As reported here last week

“Trump has been on the receiving end of some decidedly bad news lately. For instance, his bitter break up with billionaire pal Elon Musk; his failure to fulfill his promise to bring peace to Ukraine or Gaza; his assault on academic freedom and free speech at universities such as Harvard; his recessionary tariffs; and his so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” that may be big, but is grotesquely ugly and detrimental to most Americans. Consequently, Trump is desperately trying to change the subject.”

Sadly for Trump, his deflections are failing miserably. But then, it’s awfully difficult to pretend that you aren’t aspiring to impose yourself as authoritarian royalty when you have also posted pictures of yourself like this…

This is picture that Trump posted of himself wearing a crown with the caption "Long Live the King."And it is why millions of Americans are participating in "NO KINGS" day.

TACO Trump Chickens Out on His Mass Deportation Plans When it Affects Him and His Wealthy Pals

The unconstitutional, anti-American, and profoundly cruel immigration policies of Donald Trump and his fascist regime have proven to be a complete catastrophe. They do not further any goal of advancing the law, the safety, or the economic welfare of the nation or its residents.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Immigrant, Child

The only things that Trump’s totalitarian tactics accomplish are destabilizing communities, frightening families, bankrupting businesses, instilling distrust in authorities, and causing irreparable harm to individuals who don’t warrant such harsh, inhumane treatment. California’s Governor Gavin Newsom detailed some of this in a speech earlier this week.

SEE THIS: California Gov. Gavin Newsom Spells Out the Imminent Threat that Trump Represents, and the Solution

Many politicians, economists, labor experts, and diplomats, have alerted Trump and his cronies to the obvious damage that his villainous impropriety causes. But typical of Trump, he doesn’t care until there is some impact on him or someone whose interests he is serving. Which is apparently what triggered Trump’s comment on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, on Thursday morning. He wrote that

“Our great Farmers and people in the Hotel and Leisure business have been stating that our very aggressive policy on immigration is taking very good, long time workers away from them, with those jobs being almost impossible to replace. In many cases the Criminals allowed into our Country by the VERY Stupid Biden Open Borders Policy are applying for those jobs. This is not good. We must protect our Farmers, but get the CRIMINALS OUT OF THE USA. Changes are coming!”

There’s a lot of steaming bullpucky in that paragraph. For instance, it contains the first ever acknowledgement by Trump that some of the undocumented migrants in this country are “very good workers” who would be “impossible to replace” However, the only reason that Trump expresses any interest in them is because his wealthy pals in agribusiness have been whining about the adverse economic effects of his repugnant mass deportation schemes. And he adds “the Hotel and Leisure business,” because that’s Trump’s business.

So suddenly something has to be done about it to keep Trump and his friends from suffering financially. It’s emblematic of the TACO label that has recently been attached to him: “Trump Always Chickens Out!” In this case he folded at the behest of his billionaire buddies. Trump doesn’t explain why the same thing isn’t true for workers in restaurants, or factories, or construction, or healthcare, or landscaping, or even to students.

Trump went on to say that if farm workers are deported they will be replaced by criminals. He has absolutely zero evidence of that happening anywhere, but pathological liars don’t need evidence. And it seems unlikely that criminals have aspirations to move to rural areas where they can do hard labor in the fields. This is just further proof that Trump’s brain is severely dysfunctional. And he confirmed that diagnosis in an exchange with Fox News correspondent, Peter Doocy, later the same day…

Doocy: What made you change your mind about targeting in California, farmers and people in the hotels and leisure business?
Trump: Well, we’re not targeting. In fact, if you look today I put out a statement about farmers. Our farmers are being hurt badly by – you know they have very good workers. They’ve worked for them for twenty years. They’re not citizens, but they’ve turned out to be great. We’re going to have to do something about that. We can’t take farmers and take all their people and send them back because they don’t have maybe what they’re supposed to have.

Q: “What made you change your mind about targeting in California, farmers and people in the hotels and leisure business?”Trump: “Our farmers are being hurt badly. They have very good workers…They’re not citizens, but they’ve turned out to be great. We’re going to have to do something about that.”

The Bulwark (@thebulwark.com) 2025-06-12T18:11:56.443Z

Notice that Trump misunderstood the question, failing to grasp that Doocy was asking about the change in targeting. But he also failed to answer the question which inquired as to why he changed his mind. Does he even know that he did change his mind?

What’s more, while Trump conceded that there is a problem, he neglected to suggest anything that resembled a solution. But in his defense, that’s only because he’s too cognitively deficient to have solutions to any problem. All he has is hostility and vengeance and greed and an aberrant lust for power.

UPDATE: On Thursday evening Trump posted a new comment to follow up his Thursday morning comment above. This one said that…

“The Biden Administration and Governor Newscum flooded America with 21 Million Illegal Aliens, destroying Schools, Hospitals and Communities, and consuming untold Billions of Dollars in Free Welfare. All of them have to go home.”

Is this what he meant by “Changes are coming”? So Trump has returned to his original stance where all migrants must be expelled. Is this what he meant by “Changes are coming”? And is he abandoning his concern for the farmers and hoteliers who just yesterday he was worried would be adversely impacted? Or is his hate and bigotry stronger than his servility to the rich and his greed?

Trump’s Defense Secretary, Pete Hegseth, Tries and Fails to Justify Trump’s War on Los Angeles

From the day that Donald Trump first nominated Pete Hegseth to serve as his Secretary of Defense, it was widely viewed as a dangerously inappropriate proposal to elevate a completely unqualified Fox News weekend host with a history of abusing both alcohol and women.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Pete Hegseth with Drunk Emoji

Hegseth’s experience for the job that Trump sought to give him was his junior officer ranking in the Army twenty years ago, and his management of two military related non-profits that both fired him for his incompetence and malfeasance. But he met Trump’s prerequisites, which were that he would do or say anything that Trump told him without regard to the truth or the welfare of the nation, and that he looked good on TV.

SEE THIS: Pete Hegseth Spends Thousands for a Pentagon Makeup Studio to Fortify America’s Military Might

Following Trump’s declaration of war against the City of Los Angeles, Hegseth appeared before the Defense Subcommittee of the House Appropriations Committee. His testimony was about as rife with ignorance and dereliction as one would expect from such an unfit official. He came utterly unprepared for the inquiry that he knew he would face. That includes not having any data regarding the Pentagon’s budget proposal that the Appropriations Committee was expecting.

To make matters worse, Hegseth was also stumped by questions he should have anticipated. Particularly those about Trump’s unlawful deployment of National Guard troops and Marines in response to an overwhelmingly peaceful protest against the hostile excesses of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency (ICE) in Los Angeles. And in an exchange with Rep. Pete Aguilar, Hegseth provided a chilling demonstration of just how clueless he is about his duties…

Rep. Aguilar: The legal basis that the president used cites three examples in circumstances for the Guard. Invasion by a foreign nation; a rebellion or dangerous rebellion against the authority of the government of the United States; or the president is unable with regular forces to execute the laws of the United States. Which authority is triggered here to justify the use?
Hegseth: I don’t know. You just read it yourself, and people can listen themselves. But it sounds like all three to me.

"Sounds like all three to me" — Pete Hegseth suggests the United States is under invasion by a foreign nation, prompting the need for troops in Los Angeles

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2025-06-10T15:34:58.019Z

REALLY? Let’s examine these one at a time, shall we?

Invasion By a Foreign Nation:
There is no evidence whatsoever that any foreign nation had invaded the United States. Hegseth mentioned the presence of some Mexican flags, but that does not infer that the government of Mexico had anything to do with the protests, and they certainly did not. There were no Mexican troops or military assets deployed to take over the U.S. The notion is downright preposterous.

A Rebellion Against the Authority of the Government of the United States:
None of the protesters came anywhere near attempting to usurp the authority of the U.S. government. They were merely exercising their rights as stated in the First Amendment to the Constitution to “petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” Which can only be seen as a rebellion by the tyrannical tendencies of the Trump administration, where Trump regards anything critical of him as treason.

The President is Unable With Regular Forces to Execute the Laws of the United States.
The leadership provided by the Mayor of the City of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, and the Governor of California, Gavin Newsom, were more than sufficient to deal with the sometimes rowdy behavior of a few protesters. If Trump was invoking this excuse for his military incursion, than he was, in effect, conceding that he was the one who was unable to execute the laws that he swore to uphold. Which shouldn’t surprise anyone, considering that he literally admitted that he doesn’t believe he has any obligation to do so.

MORE HERE: WTHF? When Asked ‘Don’t You Need to Uphold the Constitution,’ Trump Replies ‘I Don’t Know.’

Later in his testimony, Hegseth was asked about the costs associated with the deployment of troops to clamp down on the people’s right to protest. He tried to dodge the question, but was pressed on it until he finally allowed an aide to provide the answer

“After persistent questioning about the cost of sending National Guard members and Marines to Los Angeles in response to protests over immigration raids, Hegseth turned to his acting comptroller, Bryn Woollacott MacDonnell, who said it would cost $134 million.”

With that amount of money, we could house and feed more than 4,000 homeless veterans for a year. We could provide more than 9,000 veterans with healthcare for a year. Or we could oppress and intimidate a few hundred advocates for migrants’ civil rights for a month. Spending money on this deployment is an even worse allocation of funds than Trump’s ludicrous and vain $45 million birthday parade that he’s throwing for himself in Washington, D.C. on Saturday. For which he is also threatening anyone who dares to protest it.

Hegseth is not the only member of Trump’s Quack Cabinet to malign the protesters in Los Angeles. His Homeland Security Secretary, Kristi Noem, also took a swipe at them and wound up hitting the entire population of the city, saying that L.A. is not a city of Immigrants, it’s a city of criminals.” Really? All 4,000,000 of them?

However, the views of Noem and Hegseth are not shared by the American people. A new poll has found that “47% of U.S. adults disapprove of deploying the Marines to LA, with 34% approval…45% disapprove the National Guard deployment, while 38% said they approve.”

Not that Trump or his cronies care about what the American people think. But maybe this will get some Republicans in Congress to grow a spine and reject Trump’s totalitarianism. Keep hope alive.

Herr Trump Calls for Gov. Gavin Newsom to Be Arrested and to Thank Him for Being ‘So Wonderful’

This weekend Donald Trump took the extremist action of federalizing the California National Guard to suppress the overwhelmingly peaceful protests in Los Angeles against Trump’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) thugs who are inflaming violence and chaos.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump Pacifier Fox

California’s governor, Gavin Newsom did not request the Guard, as required by law for Trump to deploy them. Which Trump himself acknowledged back in 2020. Both Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor, Karen Bass, adamantly insisted that they had the necessary law enforcement resources to handle the protests. Which was proven to be true, as the only thing that Trump’s actions did was to make things worse. But then, what more would you expect from Trump, whose decision making is severely impaired.

SEE THIS: WHO’S DERANGED? Trump on Biden Clones, Transgender Mice, Autopens, and His Own Mental Anguish

On Monday morning Trump spoke with reporters outside of the white House when he was asked by Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy about a comment Newsom made regarding Trump’s Border Czar, Tom Homan, threatening to arrest him. Which led to this exchange…

Doocy: Gavin Newsom is daring Tom Homan to come and arrest him. Should he do it?
Trump: I would do it if I were Tom. I think it’s great. Gavin likes the publicity, but I think it would be a great thing. He’s done a terrible job. I like Gavin Newsom. He’s a nice guy, but he’s grossly incompetent. Everybody knows.”

"I would do it if I were Tom. I think it's great" — Trump endorses the arrest of Gov. Gavin Newsom

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2025-06-09T16:59:33.068Z

And there you have it. Trump is explicitly calling for the arrest of Newsom. Never mind that he has no plausible charges of wrongdoing. It’s just his penchant for authoritarianism that has manifested itself previously with the persecution of judges, mayors, and members of Congress, who he has had arrested.

UPDATE: Later on Monday Trump was asked what crime Newsom committed that would warrant his arrest. Trump replied “He ran for governor.” so running for governor is apparently now illegal in Trump’s America.

It hardly matters that Trump says that he likes Newsom, while calling him “grossly incompetent” and seeking his arrest. Trump is agreeing with Homan about the abhorrent and unwarranted prosecution of the governor of America’s most populous state. But Newsom is not afraid of Trump. He literally dared Trump to follow through on his threat. Will TACO Trump chicken out again?

Newsom: "Arrest me. Let's just get it over with, tough guy. I don't give a damn … Tom, arrest me. Let's go."

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2025-06-09T02:35:52.032Z

What’s more, Trump posted a deranged comment on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, congratulating himself on his tyrannical behavior and pathetically begging for Gov. Newsom and Mayor Bass to thank him, saying that

“We made a great decision in sending the National Guard to deal with the violent, instigated riots in California. If we had not done so, Los Angeles would have been completely obliterated. The very incompetent ‘Governor,’ Gavin Newscum, and ‘Mayor,’ Karen Bass, should be saying, ‘THANK YOU, PRESIDENT TRUMP, YOU ARE SO WONDERFUL. WE WOULD BE NOTHING WITHOUT YOU, SIR.'”

This is another example of Trump’s preposterous hyperbole. Does he really think that Los Angeles, with a population of nearly ten million in the greater metropolitan area, “would have been completely obliterated” had it not been for his gross overreaction to the protests? And what psychological dysfunction causes him to continually demand that people thank him, when he is so undeserving of anything but contempt and shame? He expects everyone to suck up to him like the feckless fluffers in his Cabinet.

It is clear, however, why Trump is so hostile toward Newsom (to whom he has attached the infantile nickname, Newscum). Trump is jealous and threatened and seething with rage after Newsom so articulately castrates him with commentaries like the the following…

Donald Trump and Karoline Leavitt

This week Trump celebrated what he said was a big win over the Associated Press when a three judge panel of the D.C. Circuit Court voted 2-1 to allow him to continue to ban the Associated Press from presidential press events in the Oval Office and other locations that he deemed private.

Trump’s problem with the AP was their refusal to comply with his vain decree that all media refer to the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America. Which other countries do not recognize. So in retaliation he took over the White House press pool, which was previously determined by the independent White House Correspondents Association. Under Trump the pool became populated by slobbering pro-Trump hacks.

SEE THIS: Trump Declares Himself King of the White House Press Corps, Will Now Decide Who Can Question Him

The ruling that thrilled Trump so much was actually just a temporary stay of a prior federal court ruling that declared Trump’s ban unconstitutional. The stay was a 2-1 decision issued by a three judge panel of the D.C. Circuit Court and is in effect until the full court hears the case. The two judges deciding in Trump’s favor are Trump appointees. The AP is expected to appeal the ruling to the full court or the Supreme Court. D.C. Circuit Judge Neomi Rao wrote that…

“These restricted presidential spaces are not First Amendment fora opened for private speech and discussion. No one suggests the Oval Office is a traditional public forum such as a park or sidewalk held in trust for expressive activity.”

That’s a twisted conclusion that ignores the fact that anywhere that the media is permitted general access, there may not be any exclusions based on viewpoint discrimination. That would be a violation of the First Amendment whether it is in the Oval Office or a park.

On Sunday morning, Trump’s Propaganda Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, took up her usual position on Fox News (where she spends most of her time) to flagrantly lie about several matters related to the media (video below). Among them was her defense of how Trump has reshaped the White House press corps to mirror his totalitarian image. Leavitt told Fox’s Senior Trump-Fluffer, Maria Bartiromo, that…

“In president Trump’s White House we have made so many significant and much needed changes to press access and transparency in the White House. We have invited in new media. We have shaken up the White House press pool.”

Indeed, They have “shaken up the White House press pool” by limiting the access of credible journalists and replacing them with fringy Internet trolls who worship Trump. And that includes a Russian funded MAGA podcaster. That isn’t transparency as much as it is blatant promotion of Dear Leader’s manifesto. And it has resulted in some painfully comical episodes of bullshittery.

FOR EXAMPLE: Trump Escalates His War on the Press – and the Courts – with Predictably Preposterous Results

Leavitt also addressed the Associated Press affair, bragging about the imaginary “major victory”. She mocked the AP for thinking that “they had a constitutional right to walk into the Oval Office or to fly on Air Force One,” which they do. She went on to say that “those are privileged spaces that belong to the president of the United States,” and calling it “a great ruling for democracy.” Which is the polar opposite of the truth. It’s grotesquely arrogant to suggest that the Oval Office is a “privileged space” for the president. And censoring journalists hardly makes it a banner day for democracy.

Finally, Leavitt complained about a commentary posted by ABC News correspondent Terry Moran, who engaged in some courageous truth-telling about Trump and his designated Goebbels aide, Stephen Miller. Moran said of Miller that “It’s not brains. It’s bile. Miller is a man who is richly endowed with the capacity for hatred. He’s a world-class hater [and that] his hatreds are his spiritual nourishment. He eats his hate.” And about Trump Moran wrote that “his hatred is only a means to an end, and that end is his own glorification. That’s his spiritual nourishment.”

It would be hard to argue with Moran’s assessment. But Leavitt managed to find a way. She told Bartiromo that…

“ABC is gonna have to answer for what their so-called journalist put out on Twitter in the wee hours of the night […] Hopefully this journalist will either be suspended or terminated. You cannot go on these unhinged rants against administration officials and the president of the United States.”

Moran later deleted the tweet. It is impossible to discern if that was because of the complaints by the Trump administration. However, ABC did suspend Moran pending further review. But it’s notable that ABC is also in the middle of a lawsuit filed against them by Trump that is complicating their proposed merger with another media company.

That, however, doesn’t justify Leavitt’s threat that you can’t go “against administration officials and the president of the United States.” Never mind that the Constitution says that you can. This fascist-leaning administration won’t permit it. And if the media doesn’t start defending itself – and the Constitution – they will soon be unable to do anything but praise Dear Leader.

Leavitt: "ABC is gonna have to answer for what their so-called journalist put out on twitter … we have reached out to ABC. They have said they will be taking action, so we will see what they do … hopefully this journalist will either be suspended or terminated."

Wannabe Dictator Trump Threatens ‘Serious Consequences’ If Musk Donates to Democrats

This week there was a mammoth quake that shook the political firmament. The richest, most arrogant man in the world, Elon Musk, and the most powerful and ignorant one, Donald Trump, suffered an ugly divorce. It dissolved what was briefly a historic alliance of two self-serving billionaires with delusions of grandeur and aspirations of supremacy over mankind.

Donald Trump, Constitution

The ballooning brouhaha started out slowly, then built up a head of steam that resulted in Musk implying that Trump was one of Jeffrey Epstein’s pedophilic pals, and Trump threatening to cut off Musk’s umbilical cord to government funding.

SEE THIS: Trump Threatens to Cancel Musk’s Government Contracts Because He ‘Just Went Crazy’

The MAGA-verse was discombobulated as to how to respond to this break up, and which daddy to love. Fox News nearly had an on air seizure trying to sort it all out. Although there were those on Fox, and within the Republican ranks, who relied on the wishful thinking that it would all blow over shortly when the two elite lovers reconciled. But that was not to be – at least so far.

On Saturday it was reported that Trump told NBC News host Kristen Welker that he “has no desire to repair his relationship with Musk.” However, he didn’t stop there. Trump escalated the rhetorical war with a threat that is further evidence of his lust for totalitarian rule.

“President Donald Trump on Saturday said there would be ‘serious consequences’ if tech mogul Elon Musk funds Democratic candidates to run against Republicans who vote in favor of the GOP’s sweeping budget bill.

“‘If he does, he’ll have to pay the consequences for that,’ Trump told NBC News in a phone interview, but declined to share what those consequences would be. ‘He’ll have to pay very serious consequences if he does that'”

For the record, Musk has suggested that he would back challengers to Republican members of Congress who vote for Trump’s preposterously named (by Trump) “Big Beautiful Bill.” Musk tweeted that he “can’t stand it anymore,” and that any Republicans who support that “disgusting abomination” should be ashamed.

While Democrats might accept Musk’s donations in order to bury the bill and get rid of some MAGA Republicans, that doesn’t mean that they approve of his prior sabotaging of critical government agencies and services via the phony “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE). The greater good served by casting out the GOP Trump cultists justifies the fiscal jiu-jitsu of diverting some of Musk’s billions to a decent cause.

However, Trump’s threat of “serious consequences” for donating to Democrats is an alarming escalation of his authoritarian aspirations. He is asserting that he has some sort of power to dictate how private citizens can contribute to politicians or political causes. That is flagrantly unconstitutional.

Trump had no problem when Musk donated more than a quarter of a billion dollars to his campaign. And if money equals speech, as the Supreme Court ruled in the right-wing Citizens United decision, then Trump’s threat is violating Musk’s freedom of speech. And, by extension, the freedom of speech of every other American.

Another curious twist in this continuing melodrama is the discovery that Musk has apparently deleted some of his recent tweets aimed at Trump. Was this in response to Trump’s threats? It’s hard to imagine that he had a pang of conscience. You need to have a conscience for that. And neither of them meet that criteria.

Trump Threatens to Cancel Musk’s Government Contracts Because He ‘Just Went Crazy’

The intensifying feud between Donald Trump and his billionaire benefactor, Elon Musk, is providing some of the best soap opera melodrama that America has seen in decades. And coming just a few days after they had an affectionate farewell in the Oval Office just makes it all the more enticing as an entertainment event.

Donald Trump and Elon Musk

It didn’t take long for the bombs to fly across the crybabies battlefield. It was Musk who threw the first flurry of explosives on Wednesday when he lambasted Trump and his “Big Ugly Bill” that he’s currently pushing through Congress. Musk didn’t mince words, calling it a “disgusting abomination,” due to its multi-trillion dollar increase of the national debt.

SEE THIS: Trump’s Favorite Fox News Flunkies FREAK OUT Over the ‘Big Bogus Bill’ Breaking Up Trump and Musk

On Thursday morning Trump fired back with a couple of comments posted to his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social. and was pretty direct as well, saying that

“Elon was ‘wearing thin,’ I asked him to leave, I took away his EV Mandate that forced everyone to buy Electric Cars that nobody else wanted (that he knew for months I was going to do!), and he just went CRAZY!”

There’s a lot of derp stuffed into that brief passage. First of all, Trump did not ask Musk to leave. Musk’s tenure as a temporary “special government employee” was expired. And at the farewell ceremony, Trump gave Musk a golden key to the White House and said that Musk wasn’t really leaving.

As for Musk’s electric cars that nobody wants, Trump actually bought one himself in a widely publicized, staged photo-op in front of the White House. Yet Trump was still “disappointed” by Musk’s betrayal which led to this historic first…

The feud between Trump and Musk is escalating with two notable comments that mark what may be the first time that either of them has told the truth…1?? Trump accuses Musk of being a self-serving ingrate (TRUE)2?? Musk accuses Trump of being a liar (TRUE)

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-06-05T16:53:35.761Z

Trump followed that up with a second post on Truth Social saying that

“The easiest way to save money in our Budget, Billions and Billions of Dollars, is to terminate Elon’s Governmental Subsidies and Contracts. I was always surprised that Biden didn’t do it!”

Fantastic! That would be the best thing to come out of this bellicose brouhaha. Musk has built his fortune on government subsidies from the U.S., as well as China and other countries. If Trump were to follow through on this threat it would indeed save American taxpayers billions of dollars. Unfortunately, Trump has a terrible record of following through on anything. Hence his new nickname, TACO Trump (Trump Always Chickens Out).

Meanwhile, Trump is demonstrating some the best justifications for removing him from office via the 25th Amendment. His cognitive decline has sunk to depths previously thought unimaginable. For instance, Thursday morning he made a preposterous comment about the price of groceries…

Trump says "Eggs have come down 400%"?COOL! That means that you could could walk into the store, fill your shopping cart with eggs, and walk out with hundreds of dollars and the eggs. And he talks about President Biden's mental acuity?

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-06-05T17:47:54.999Z

And Trump also displayed his shockingly ignorant grasp of history in a press avail with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz…

Trump has no idea what D-Day was. Then again, he has no idea about anything other than what idiocy creeps into his mush-filled brain.Trump is utterly incapable of running this country. Or running a lemonade stand. He'll bankrupt it like he did his own businesses 4 times.

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-06-05T17:39:09.119Z

And in the midst of this, and so many other examples of Trump’s failing mental acuity, Trump is calling for an investigation of President Biden. As reported by ABC News

“Trump ordered Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate whether former President Joe Biden’s administration sought to conspire to cover up his mental state while in office.”

Never mind that Trump even admits that he has no evidence of his allegations. What he has is his bizarre declaration that he has “uncovered the human mind” and had a debate with it.

UH-OH: Trump has "uncovered the human mind."Now we're really f*cked!

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-06-05T19:04:59.482Z

So much for the sustainability of life on Earth.

UPDATE: The feud is going scorched earth. Now Musk has accused Trump of being “in the Epstein files” and has endorsed his impeachment.

UH-OH… Now Musk has accused Trump of being "in the Epstein files" and has endorsed his impeachment.
