Trump’s Christo-Fascist Homeland Security Department Declares that America ‘Shares a Savior’

The holiday season in America is one that is celebrated by most Americans as a time of peace, goodwill, and unity. The joyful spirit of the season is shared by people of all faiths. And there is respect for the broad diversity of religious beliefs practiced in a nation that cherishes religious freedom.

Donald Trump Messiah

Sadly, there is an effort to shatter that tradition of brotherhood by the current occupant of the White House, Donald Trump. His bigotry and pseudo-Christian elitism is a core component of his aspirations for an authoritarian reign. He brandishes his phony sanctimony as a cudgel to force others into submission. And he exploits his faux faith as a tool of invective and intimidation.

SEE THIS: Merry Christmas to Trump From America’s Patriotic ‘Radical Left Scum’ that Drive Him CRAZY (er)

Examples of Trump’s brand of Christian Nationalism are on display by his Cabinet secretaries who serve him as if he were their messiah. In s series of tweets, the Trump toadies have announced not only their own piety to one particular religion, but have declared that religion as the chosen faith for the whole nation. The following was tweeted by the official account of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) led by puppy killer, Kristi Noem…

“Merry Christmas, America. We are blessed to share a nation and a Savior.”

It isn’t unusual for a political person or entity to wish good tidings for believers of any particular religion. However, it is entirely inappropriate – and even un-American – to proclaim that the whole nation shares a savior. The Constitution’s First Amendment prohibits such proclamations. And by violating that prohibition, Trump’s DHS is debasing a long held American principle of religious liberty. And the DHS wasn’t alone…

  • Department of Defense: “Merry Christmas to all. Today we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.”
  • Department of Labor: “Let Earth Receive Her King.”
  • The White House: “The First Lady and I send our warmest wishes to all Americans as we share in the joy of Christmas Day and celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.”

Despite the universality of those comments, they are not beliefs shared by all Americans. In practice, they aren’t even shared by Trump. On Christmas Day Trump, who fancies himself as the “Peace President,” bombed alleged terrorists in Nigeria that he said were killing Christians. He provided no evidence of that, and it has been disputed by officials in Nigeria.

However, Trump’s pal Vladimir Putin is indisputably slaughtering mostly Christians in Ukraine, but Trump doesn’t seem to care about them. Meanwhile, he spent most of Christmas Day posting vile insults and self glorifying comments on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social (nearly 200 posts). So he obviously wasn’t in church or celebrating the day with family.

The video posted by DHS is an MTV-style music video featuring an English version of a Christmas song that was popular in Japan, “Christmas Eve” originally by Yamashita Tatsuro. It’s safe to assume that the Trumpists didn’t get the rights to use it. Visually it is a compilation of snippets of holiday cultural imagery interspersed with photos of Trump, further implying that he is the “savior” that the nation shares.

The purposefully mixed message that exalts both Jesus and Trump is designed to advance a perverse version of Christianity, while simultaneously belittling all other beliefs. It is the canon of a cult. And it should never have been posted by a government entity.

But with the past behavior of the Trump regime, it isn’t surprising that they would stoop so low. They are determined to promulgate a belief in Trump and impose loyalty to him above all others. Many Trumpists are already praying to His MAGA-sty. His White House spiritual advisor, Paula White, recently said that “To say no to President Trump would be saying no to God.” No, actually, it wouldn’t. But try to explain that to a member of the Trump cult.
