PROPAGANDA WORKS! Fox News and Other MAGA Media Deliver Disciples for Dear Leader Trump (Poll)

The United States as led by His MAGA-sty, Donald Trump, is suffering one of its most serious challenges since the Civil War. In many respects the current crisis embodies some of the same threats that tore the nation apart in that deadly and divisive conflagration. The Trump driven turmoil that America is undergoing today is ripping apart families over political and moral differences, and interpretations of law and principle.

Donald Trump, Fox News, Lies

Trump and his Republican Party have taken the lead in disparaging Democrats and even Republicans who fail to be sufficiently worshipful of Trump. And it is not merely the divergence of opinion that is common in a healthy democracy. The MAGA-tists have embarked on a crusade that mirrors the hostilities that resulted in the Battle of the States almost 200 years ago. Their invectives and lies are off the charts crazy.

A new poll by the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI) sheds additional light on the severity and the causes of the division in American political life. And, not surprisingly, much of the responsibility lies with the media. The poll found that…

“Americans who most trust far-right news, including Newsmax and One America News, for accurate political information show the highest level of approval of Trump’s job as president (92%), followed by 86% who most trust Fox News. Smaller majorities of Americans who most trust the radio (67%) and who do not trust any media source also approve (61%). Far fewer Americans who most trust YouTube or podcasts (46%), social media (42%), mainstream TV news (25%), and newspapers (19%) approve of the job Trump is doing as president.”

In short, viewers of Fox News, OAN, Newsmax, and other MAGA media, are by far the most likely to believe the flagrant lies that prop up Trump’s public image. Those viewers are the glassy-eyed cult followers who regard Trump as a pseudo-deity who can do no wrong. And the reason they buy into that nonsense is that it is all that they are exposed to from the pro-Trump propaganda sources that they hungrily consume.

The poll delved deeply into a broad array of other political subjects and where Trump fit in. Or more pointedly, failed to fit in. For instance…

  • A majority of Americans agree “President Trump is a dangerous dictator whose power should be limited before he destroys American democracy” (56%).
  • A majority of Americans (56%) disapprove of the job Donald Trump is doing as president, compared with 42% who approve.
  • Americans who most trust far-right news show the highest level of approval of Trump’s job handling the Epstein files at 70%, followed by 68% who most trust Fox News.
  • Six in ten Americans (62%) believe things in the country are going in the wrong direction, including most Democrats (92%) and independents (71%), compared with 24% of Republicans.
  • Majorities say that the cuts in federal funding of health care programs (60%)…have gone too far.
  • Republicans (22%) are more likely than independents (16%) and Democrats (12%) to agree that political violence may be necessary to save the country.
  • Most Americans agree that “What President Trump is doing to the federal government is an assault on constitutional checks and balances and the rule of law” (54%).

While it is comforting to see that most of the American people reject Trump and his aspirational authoritarian agenda, it is troubling that there are still a fair number of weak willed citizens who are so easily misled. And the fact that they are swayed by the deliberately dishonest right-wing media is a disconcerting affirmation of the power of propaganda.

If the American experiment is to endure, there must be a solution to the harm posed by media that is purposefully lying on behalf of special interests, both political and financial. That solution must be careful not to step on the right of free speech. And while the right to speak may be practiced freely, it is not necessarily free of rebuttal or consequences if it deliberately causes harm.

Part of the solution was demonstrated in the $787 million settlement that Fox News had to pay to Dominion Voting Systems for defamation. There needs to be more of that. And it needs to hold individuals like Trump accountable as well. Because the more that liars in politics and media are held to a higher standard, the fewer opportunities evildoers will have to create the chaos that empowers the perpetrators of propaganda.

Ever since his return to the air, Kimmel has demonstrated that he has not been intimidated by the Trump regime and has no intention of softening his comedic approach to the Crybaby-in-Chief. On Monday night Kimmel’s monologue (video below) featured a poll wherein Trump was soundly beaten by Kimmel in approval ratings. This is just the sort of news that leads to a Trump meltdown. It’s nice, but considering the fact that I’m not a convicted felon, a friend of Jeffrey Epstein, and I’ve never paid off a porn star, or sent a team of masked goons into a park to pull an old lady away from her grandchildren, I feel like my rating should be higher maybe than this. At this point finding a toenail in your salad has a 7 point lead over Donald Trump.”

OUCH! Kimmel makes a good point about his ratings being the low side despite the fact that he isn’t a repulsive slimeball with a criminal record. Kimmel still surpasses Trump handily even after all of Trump’s slanderous outrage and relentless and defamatory efforts to muddy up Kimmel’s reputation. And yet, Kimmel continues to take the high road and express a little sympathy for poor baby Trump…

“I hope he doesn’t see this. You know I don’t like to upset him. But I think he might be upset because the White House put out a statement this afternoon – this is a real statement.

‘Over 77 million Americans showed up on election day to cast their ballots for president Donald J. Trump, who is delivering on his overwhelming mandate to put America first. Jimmy Kimmel prays every night to garner a fraction of that support to keep his show on air after ratings dropped 64% last week. Sad!’

“You know what else is sad? That the president of the United States has a lower approval rating than Diddy and diarrhea. That’s what’s sad. If he’s looking to improve his approval ratings, I have an idea. Release the Epstein files.”

Trump is unlikely to take Kimmel’s advice. But that’s only because he knows that his name is plastered all over the pages of the Epstein files. Which is also why Trump is constantly trying to change the subject to distract the American people. He’s sending military troops to invade several peaceful American cities. He’s blowing up possibly innocent fisherman in the Caribbean. And he orchestrated a government shutdown that will cause real harm for millions of Americans.

But at least they won’t be talking about the Epstein files. Oh, wait. They still are.

Trump Unites America – In Opposition to His Shutdown and His Skyrocketing Healthcare Costs

Now that Donald Trump has succeeded in implementing his government shutdown, the blame game in Washington D.C. has reached a fever pitch. Naturally, Democrats are blaming Republicans, and Republicans are blaming immigrants – and, oh yeah, Democrats.

The Republican messaging is rife with flagrant lies about what Democrats want in order to pass the budget legislation. They insist that Democrats are demanding free healthcare for “illegal aliens.” That’s a lie. There are zero Democrats proposing that. But Republicans have decided that this will be their sole talking point because they couldn’t care less about ending the shutdown. In fact, they are rejoicing in it, and even bragging that it is helping them to achieve some of their long term goals.

However, the American people have other ideas. They are opposed to Trump and his GOP cohorts allowing healthcare costs to rise to exorbitantly unaffordable levels. As reported by CNN, a new poll by the Washington Post finds that…

“Seven in ten Americans side with Democrats in saying that Obamacare subsidies should be extended. {Adding that} “A lot more people are blaming the president and congressional Republicans than Democrats. [47% to 30%]”

Meanwhile, over on Trump’s Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News, viewers got a morsel of truth from Democratic strategist Dan Kanninen. He told Fox’s Brian Roberts that…

“This month, if the ACA tax credits do not go forward, which is what the shutdown is about…viewers on this network who are 60 years old and making $75,000 a year, will see $841.00 increases monthly to the health insurance premiums.”

Republicans were hoping that they could shove this shutdown down America’s throat and make Democrats take the heat for it. But the American people are smarter than Republicans thought. And the GOP haven’t helped themselves with statements by their Dear Leader that reveal how thrilled he is with the shutdown that will cause severe harm to millions. He posted on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, that…

“I have a meeting today with Russ Vought, he of PROJECT 2025 Fame, to determine which of the many Democrat Agencies, most of which are a political SCAM…I can’t believe the Radical Left Democrats gave me this unprecedented opportunity.”

That comment is not only an expression of appreciation for the shutdown, but Trump is threatening to cut only “Democratic Agencies,” which is an openly partisan, and potentially illegal admission. He also reveals that he knows well about the authoritarian handbook “Project 2025,” that he has been denying any knowledge of for months.

What’s more, his Propaganda Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, was also on Fox News touting Trump’s position on the shutdown and the grossly adverse consequences of it. She laid out a threat that is reminiscent of Mafia lingo in a futile attempt to coerce Democrats into submission, saying…

“Democrats should know that they put the White House and the president in this position. And if they don’t want further harm on their constituents back home, then they need to reopen the government. It’s very simple.”

Maybe Trump and the Republicans are the ones who should reopen the government, since they are the majority party in Congress with the power and obligation to do so. Or are they cool with harming their constituents back home? Clearly it’s the latter. Why else would Trump and company be moving so quickly and gleefully to dispense their harm?

Virtually every poll taken in the past few months has shown him with pitifully high disapproval ratings that are unmatched by any other modern president, except for Trump in his first term.

Donald Trump Walking the Plank

The disgust of the voters is understandable considering his policies that have been explicitly aimed at hurting average Americans, while benefitting the wealthy and corporations. He has cut taxes for the rich, while cutting benefits for everyone else, including Medicare and health insurance. He has exacerbated climate change. He has abandoned our democratic allies around the world. He has imposed tariffs that worsen inflation. And he has deployed the military against us in our own homes.

The consequences of these wildly unpopular positions has been the rapid decomposition of whatever support Trump had from voters who were concerned about the rising cost of living. And this has not gone unnoticed by CNN’s polling analyst, Harry Enten. In a segment on Monday morning Enten delivered the good news about Trump’s bad state of affairs…

“Look at the aggregate of the polls and look how long Donald Trump’s net approval rating has been negative. It has been every day since March 12th in the average of polls. We’re talking about 181 days in a row in which Donald Trump has been underwater, swimming with the fishes. There is no good data for Donald Trump when looking at the aggregate and looking overall. He has been negative for a very long period of time, the vast majority of his second presidency.”

Enten: “Look how long Donald Trump’s net approval rating has been negative — every day since March 12. We’re talking about 181 days in a row in which Trump has been under water swimming with the fishes. There is no good data for Trump. Look at the issues. Trump is under water on all of them.”

In addition to the rock bottom numbers for Trump personally, he is also in desperate condition on all of the most important matters facing the nation. On trade, due to his ridiculous tariffs, Trump is at a negative 17. On the economy he is at a negative 14; On foreign policy he’s down to a negative 12. And the two issues that he most closely aligned himself with, immigration and crime, he’s showing a negative three and two respectively.

There isn’t a positive number in the bunch. But that doesn’t stop him from claiming to have the highest polling numbers ever. Whether that’s just Trump lying again, or it’s a symptom of his severely delusional malignant narcissism, is hard to tell. But it really doesn’t matter. Either way it is harmful to the nation and justification for his involuntary removal from office. And the sooner the better.

The American people have already decided that Trump is unfit for office. They are opposed to his policies. And they are repulsed by his character, or lack thereof. And his refusal to come clean about his unsavory relationship with Jeffrey Epstein isn’t helping.

SUNDAY FUNNIES: Toddler Trump Dumps a Bucket of Bullpucky in a Pitiful Ploy to Deflect From Epstein

Earlier this month Donald Trump was shaken by the escalation of news reporting about convicted pedophile and sex trafficker, Jeffrey Epstein, and his personal relationship with the man that he called a “terrific guy.” But as the saga unfolded, Trump feigned some measure of confidence that it would be a two day story at worst.

Two weeks later the story still dominates the news cycle, and has even ballooned into a major scandal for Trump that is weakening his support among many of his previously devoted disciples. And most of the blame for the escalation lies with Trump himself, and his staff who keep fueling the fire with inadvertently incriminating defenses and blatantly obvious efforts to create diversions. Even his Propaganda Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, has contributed to the controversy.

On Sunday morning, Trump engaged in the typically Trumpian pursuit to cast alternative scrum into the media sea to distract the sharks from feeding on his political carcass. He posted a flurry of comments on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, that only made it more clear how desperate and scared he is.

What follows are some annotated excerpts from his comments. The full postings are linked to “TrumpsTruth.org,” a website that reposts his Truth Social remarks, so you don’t have to click through to his website.

Let’s begin with…

…a comment wherein Trump praises himself and the six month anniversary of his second occupation of the White House. He gushes that he is “being hailed as one of the most consequential periods of any President.” Which is technically true. Most people would describe his assault on democracy and the Constitution as “consequential.” However, he went on to claim that “One year ago our Country was DEAD, with almost no hope of revival.” You have to wonder what drugs he is taking that would produce that sort of delusional hysteria.

Next up…

…was Trump’s reporting on his poll numbers. He wrote that “My Poll Numbers within the Republican Party, and MAGA, have gone up, significantly, since the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax […] and are all Republican Party records.” Okay. In some polls there has been a slight uptick in his support by his MAGA cult. Which only tells you something about how deeply indoctrinated they are. However, his support is by no means a record for either party. Although his overall approval rating is at a record low for him.

Mike Johnson fails to mention that Trump's approval rating of 90% is just among Republicans. And other presidents have been even higher among their own party:? George Bush: 99% after 9/11.? Barack Obama: 93% after Obamacare passed.? Joe Biden: 95% after his inauguration.

Trump went on to say that “People like…all of the many other things I have done.” Which is a flagrant falsehood. He is underwater on nearly every issue, including those he is most closely associated with, such as immigration and the economy.

Next Trump sought…

…to reanimate an old story about the renaming of the Washington Commanders from its previous name, the Redskins. He whined that “The Washington ‘Whatever’s’ should IMMEDIATELY change their name back to the Washington Redskins Football Team. There is a big clamoring for this.” The only clamoring for this is from his fellow racists who enjoy using pejorative slurs. But Trump even claimed that “Indians” want this. Which shows just how in touch he is with Native Americans.

In a fit…

…aimed at a perennial foe, Trump raged that “Adam Schiff is a THIEF! He should be prosecuted, just like they tried to prosecute me, and everyone else — The only difference is, WE WERE TOTALLY INNOCENT, IT WAS ALL A GIANT HOAX!” Of course, reality tells us that Sen. Schiff has committed no crime. Trump can’t even cite one. But Trump was convicted by a jury that found him guilty of 34 felonies. He was also found liable for sexual abuse by separate jury in a civil case, which the judge later clarified was rape.

Finally…

…Trump has bought into the lies being promulgated by his Russia-affiliated Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard. He wrote that, “In the months leading up to the November 2016 election, the Intelligence Community agreed that there was no Intelligence that reflected that Russia was trying to hack the election.” That preposterous statement contradicts everything known about the well documented plot by Russia to interfere with the 2016 presidential election. His own Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, was the acting chair of the Senate committee that investigated the matter and affirmed Russia’s involvement. This, however, is a more complicated matter that is explained…

Rest assured that the above is only the tip of the iceberg. Trump will continue fanning the flames of his Epstein soap opera until either the media gets tired of it, or he is indicted and resigns. Rest assured also, that most of America is praying for the latter.

UPDATE: Trump has already added a couple more diversionary comments. One in which he threatens the Washington Commanders to change their name back or he would block a new stadium proposal. And one in which he complains that a Wall Street Journal article mentioned that his Treasure Secretary “explained” to him that firing Fed Chair Jerome Powell would tank the stock market. Trump boasted that “People don’t explain to me, I explain to them!” Because he is the messiah that knows all.

Donald Trump Circling the Drain

Concerned that the world wasn’t already suffering sufficient measures of tumult, Trump concluded that it was time to manufacture a new catastrophe to take some of the heat off of those he has already presided over in the first five months of his re-occupation of the White House. Particularly considering that his approval rating has been in free fall since his inauguration.

Consequently, Trump set his focus on glorifying himself As America’s War-Monger-in-Chief. Did he seek to confer with his political colleagues in Congress, or with America’s international allies? Apparently not. It appears that among the first things he did was to place a call to his shadow Chief of Staff, Sean Hannity of Fox News. Just an hour after he announced the mission to Iran, Trump was divulging details of his Iranian adventure to Hannity. Which is especially notable because he hadn’t even alerted members of the congressional Gang of Eight prior to the attack. Well, at least not the Democratic members.

Trump also dispatched his Vice-President, JD Vance, to tell the press that the situation in Iran was so awful because of the “dumb presidents” in office for the past 25 years. Who wants to tell him that that includes his boss, Donald Trump, who was the one who was dumb enough to cancel the U.S. agreement with Iran that prohibited them from developing nuclear weapons, and mandated regular inspections?

JD Vance: "Trump's war in the Middle East is different than in the past 25 years because "back then we had dumb presidents."You mean like Trump, who was president 4 of those years? And of the 3 other presidents during that time – Bush, Obama, Biden – Trump is unquestionably the dumbest.

Also called up for duty was Trump’s Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Dan Caine. He promptly contradicted Trump’s glowing characterization of the success of the mission as having “completely and totally obliterated” Iran’s nuclear capabilities. Gen. Caine had a different view of the Battle Damage Assessment (BDA).

Trump himself made time to post some comments on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, complimenting himself and chastising his foes. For instance, after claiming that he was enjoying “Great unity in the Republican Party,” he posted a long, rambling diatribe attacking fellow Republican Thomas Massie, saying that he is…

“…not MAGA, even though he likes to say he is. Actually, MAGA doesn’t want him, doesn’t know him, and doesn’t respect him. He is a negative force who almost always Votes ‘NO,’ no matter how good something may be. He’s a simple minded ‘grandstander.’ […] MAGA should drop this pathetic LOSER, Tom Massie, like the plague!”

Which is peculiar considering that when Massie was up for reelection Trump gushed that he was “a ‘Conservative Warrior’ and a ‘first-rate Defender of the Constitution,’ who has ‘my complete and total endorsement.'” Trump likely changed his opinion after Massie expressed his opposition to both Trump’s so-called “Big Beautiful Bill,” and the Iran bombing that he correctly said was unconstitutional. And Massie was not alone among the allegedly united GOP>

All of this is going on as Trump is swirling in a death spiral of unpopularity. Just prior to his Iran action, news reports revealed that his polling has sunk to new depths. As Newsweek reported, “Donald Trump’s approval rating is underwater in 15 states he won in 2024, including all seven swing states.”

“In key battlegrounds such as Michigan (-11), Nevada (-12), North Carolina (-8), Wisconsin (-13), Arizona (-12), Pennsylvania (-12), and Georgia (-6), Trump’s net approval rating—the percentage of voters who approve of him minus those who disapprove—is firmly negative.” […]

“Beyond the swing states, Trump is also underwater in other states he carried in 2024, including Texas (-8), Ohio (-6), and Utah (-5). Trump’s net approval ratings are also slightly negative in Missouri (-2), Indiana (-3), Florida (-3), Kansas (-4), and Iowa (-4). Consequently, it is comforting to know that America’s president is always on active duty, seeing to the needs of the nation and addressing its international obligations. For example, Donald Trump is currently laser focused on the most critical matters facing him today, such as erecting giant flag poles at the White House, deploying the military against peaceful demonstrators who dare to exercise their constitutional rights, and staging parades to celebrate his birthday, while simultaneously putting fear into the hearts of our foes.

On Thursday morning Trump was hard at work again at one of his most important tasks, posting comments to his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social. On this occasion he was compelled to write about the imminent threat of war with Iran, who was already engaged in a deadly conflict with America’s ally Israel.

Just kidding. Trump hasn’t posted a single word about Iran in two days. Although he did mention it to reporters, to whom he said that “No one knows what I’ll do,” so “I’ll do whatever I want.” What Trump was actually posting today was a temper tantrum aimed at his Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News. He raged in part that…

“The Crooked FoxNews Polls got the Election WRONG, I won by much more than they said I would, and have been biased against me for years. They are always wrong and negative. It’s why MAGA HATES FoxNews, even though their anchors are GREAT.”

So that’s why “MAGA HATES Fox News.” Because they occasionally release a poll that isn’t adoringly worshipful of Dear Leader Trump. Daffy Don went on to complain that Fox News uses an “incompetent polling company,” as evidenced by their results showing that he got only “a little more than 50% at the Border.”

That alone would be enough to trigger Trump’s hissy fit. However, he left out some pertinent details that surely played a role in his hysterics. The Fox News poll also revealed that Trump’s so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” had an approval rating of only 38%, while 59% opposed it. And his overall job approval stands at 46%, with 54% disapproving.

That can’t be helping to elevate his mood above its normal state ranging from cranky grandpa to raving lunatic. And the rest of the data from Fox’s poll could only make him even more furious. He is in negative territory on every issue other than the border. And that includes immigration where his failings are seen in almost every poll that asked the question.

Given the abysmal polling that Trump is suffering through, it’s no wonder that a malignant narcissist like Trump would ignore minor inconveniences like impending war, recession, and the end of American democracy. His attention needs to be directed at whether or not his MAGA cult still loves him, and how to get his media flunkies to praise him with even more slobbering devotion.

Not ot worry, though. Trump will get around to Iran eventually. Or as his Propaganda Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, said today, in about two weeks. No, really…

Everything with Trump is "two weeks." Now that includes his decision on whether to take America to war with Iran. He never follows through.Let's hope he fails again on this one. Although he is desperate to change narrative in the media that is all negative for him.

UH-OH! Bartiromo is undoing weeks of determined bullshittery by the GOP to beguile the gullible into believing that the bill would be their economic salvation. They have been denying that there are any Medicaid cuts at all in the bill, much less cuts that exceed those that they said didn’t exist in the first place. This could could portend dark days for Bartiromo. Perhaps even a seat on the Deportation Express to El Salvador.

Furthermore, this could not have come at a worse time for the Trump regime. The latest polls show that the “Big Beautiful Bullsh*t” is broadly opposed by the vast majority of the American people. As CNN reports, polls by the Kaiser Family foundation and Quinnipiac University reveal that the bill is underwater by 29 and 26 points respectively…

“The amount of disapproval for this bill — holy cow, my goodness gracious! We’re talking about 29 points underwater on the net favorable rating…We’re talking about a negative 41 net favorability rating among independents in the center of the electorate. You rarely ever see proposed pieces of legislation as unpopular as this.”

Can Trump and the GOP still call this the "Big Beautiful Bill" when the vast majority of the American people hate it? They know that it hurts them, helps only the wealthy, and adds trillions more debt.And this is after weeks of the Trump regime spewing propaganda to prop it up.

The Senate is still putting together their version of the bill. It is already set to make significant changes from the House version. Which means that if something passes in the Senate, which remains in doubt, it will still have to be passed again in the House, where it only squeaked through the first time.

Given that this bill is now better known, and more disliked, by a broader cross-section of the population, it’s passage may an uphill climb for Republicans. Particularly after Trump’s humiliating birthday parade which will only sink his already abysmal approval ratings even farther down the rabid hole.

As we arrive at the completion of Trump’s first 100 days of his second occupation of the White House, it is more obvious than ever that he is determined to be canonized as the messiah of his MAGA movement in order to ordain himself as America’s first dictator. Even his press secretary explicitly characterizes the devotion that she expects the Trump cult members to display…

For his part, Trump sought to memorialize his 100 day anniversary in a manner that is typical of someone suffering from a severe case of malignant narcissism. It’s typical in that it exposes how deeply he has descended into an acute egomaniacal stupor. But it’s also typical in that it is deeply delusional. In a comment posted to his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, he linked to an article by GOP Sen. Roger Marshall for what he considers to be his accomplishments thus far…

“In just 100 days, we have witnessed one of the most productive presidential administrations in modern history. Trump has already signed more than 140 executive orders, issued more than 40 proclamations, and authored more than 30 memorandums—far surpassing the number of actions many presidents have taken throughout their entire administrations.”

Contrary to Trump’s gushing self-pride for what he regards a “productive presidential administration,” everything in that comment is more representative of the behavior of an unabashed tyrant. American leadership is not graded on how many unilateral actions are taken by a wannabe despot with overt animosity toward democracy. Bypassing the legislative and judicial branches of government is ordinarily done on a limited basis when required by unique circumstances. But Trump is using executive orders, and other instruments of power, to exert his own will, not that of the people.

The Newsweek op-ed by Marshall that Trump linked to was replete with more ridiculously reverential rhetoric. Marshall went on to say that…

“Despite relentless criticism from the mainstream media, radical judges blocking the president’s actions, and Democrats in disarray, the American people stand strongly behind the president’s America first vision.”

Marshall, of course, is lying. In fact, Trump has the worst approval ratings of any president in more than 80 years at this point in their term. Even worse, a poll by PRRI found that “Most Americans see Trump as a dangerous dictator.” That includes a majority overall, a majority of Independents, and even 17% of Republicans. Some may believe that those numbers are still too low, but this is just the beginning.

What’s more, one of Fox News’ most reliable Trump-fluffers, Mark Levin, seems to agree that Trump is an aspiring dictator. He told his viewers that…

“He is routinely violating separation of powers, which goes to the heart of our system. He’s ruling our country by executive orders, administration regulations in order to defy Congress and get around Congress. That is, he’s lawmaking, which is a clear violation of the Constitution.”

Actually, Levin said that on May 19, 2024. And he was talking about President Biden who signed only 42 executive orders in his first 100 days. And Trump posted a link to that clip of Levin on Truth Social. So he must have been aware of it because, as he says himself, he has “one of the best memories in the world.”

Finally, Trump’s shadow chief-of-staff, Sean Hannity, also devoted some time to heralding Trump’s “accomplishments” in his first 100 days. However, they don’t seem to include anything that actually benefits the nation or its people. Unless you regard renaming the Gulf of Mexico, or ending federal support for paper straws, as major achievements to move America forward. Well, do you?

Trump is OUTRAGED at Fox News for Revealing How Unpopular He Is, So He Attacks Rupert Murdoch

The American people are increasingly dissatisfied with Donald Trump as he approaches the 100th day of his second occupation of the White House. And that is not the just the opinion of some random “radical left lunatic,” as Trump likes to call all of his critics. It’s the results of a new poll by Fox News.

After several weeks of epically abhorrent fiascos, Trump’s approval rating has descended to new lows. His attacks on lawyers, universities, and of course, the media, only serve to expose his desperation. He is now getting failing grades on virtually every issue that he campaigned on. Although, it’s not as if he hasn’t been scraping the bottom of that barrel for some time.

A new Fox News poll confirms the crash of the Corruptor-in-Chief. Overall, Trump’s job approval clocks in at 44%.” His disapproval is at 55%. These numbers are notably worse than Presidents Biden, Obama, Bush, and even himself in his first term. The Fox News reporting on its poll led off on a positive note, but then quickly slid off a cliff…

“President Trump receives his best marks on border security, as a 55% majority approves. That’s the only issue where his ratings are in positive territory. On immigration, a record high of 47% approve of Trump (48% disapprove), while a new low of 38% approve on the economy (56% disapprove). His worst ratings are on inflation (33% approve, 59% disapprove), followed by tariffs (33-58%), foreign policy (40-54%), taxes (38-53%), and guns (41-44%).”

To no one’s surprise, this survey triggered a predictable tantrum from Trump on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social. He lashed out petulantly at his longtime media benefactor, Rupert Murdoch, saying that…

“Rupert Murdoch has told me for years that he is going to get rid of his FoxNews, Trump Hating, Fake Pollster, but he has never done so. This ‘pollster’ has gotten me, and MAGA, wrong for years. Also, and while he’s at it, he should start making changes at the China Loving Wall Street Journal. It sucks!!!”

So Trump is not only blasting Fox News as a disseminator of “fake news,” he’s accusing Murdoch of lying to him “for years” about ditching the pollster that has actually been surprisingly accurate. And he threw in a shot at Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal for kicks. Probably because the Journal’s Editorial Board recently wrote that Trump was waging “The Dumbest Trade War in History.”

Making matters worse, was what Steve Doocy said on Fox and Friends. He began by saying that Trump is “softening his stance on China.” While he characterized that weakness as positive, he elaborated by giving the Fox News viewers some information that was likely to cause them some emotional distress…

“Tariffs are unpopular with the American public. 72% say that the tariffs are making things more expensive. 55% say that they are hurting the economy. And 44% say they are hurting jobs. And when it comes to one other number, when you look at the S&P 500, it has gotten off to the worst start of any presidency going back to 1928, which is when they started keeping records.”

But not to worry, co-host Ainsley Earhardt (Sean Hannity’s girlfriend), chimed in to salve the wounds caused by Doocy’s brief detour into reality, saying that…

“The administration is saying that these projections are fluid, there are several options on the table. The president yesterday, he was out on the White House lawn, he was out there to find a good location to erect this new huge American flag.”

See? Everything is gonna be okay. The cost of living is rising to new heights. Everything from groceries, to gas, to rent, to appliances, to cars, and more, will be more expensive, for no reason other than Trump’s ego and ignorance. But at least we’ll have a giant, useless flag decorating the White House (which already has one on its roof) to wave at and salute on the way to the poorhouse. Good times! And so much winning.
