MAGA Mike Johnson Admits that the Shutdown is ‘Something that We’ve All Always Wanted to Do’

And despite all the evidence – including the fact that Republicans control both houses of the legislative branch – Trump and his MAGA cronies are trying desperately to blame it all on Democrats.

The spin from the GOP is predictably centered on their hateful and racist fixation on immigrants. They are outright lying that Democrats are withholding their votes in order to obtain free healthcare for “illegal aliens.” Never mind that no Democrat is proposing that or even suggesting it as a condition for passage of the budget bill. And Republicans can’t provide any proof of their dishonest claim. Which is typical of the GOP.

Surprisingly, on Wednesday morning GOP House Speaker MAGA Mike Johnson decided to tell the truth for a change. During an interview with Fox News Senior Trump-Fluffer, Maria Bartiromo, Johnson admitted that shutting down the government was a long desired goal of the Republican Party….

Bartiromo: Trump has said that he could use this as an opportunity to further cut government and turn some of those temporary furloughs into permanent job cuts. Speaker, can you assess what you are expecting in terms of the job cuts and how severe they could be?
Johnson: Yes, the president and I talked about this at great length. While, a shutdown is very damaging for real American people who depend upon government services, it can provide an opportunity to downsize the scope and the scale of government, which is something that we’ve all always wanted to do.

So in a way, Chuck Schumer has now handed the keys to the kingdom to the executive branch under President Trump to do some things that we would not otherwise be able to do because we would never get Democrat votes for them.

Johnson: “While a shutdown is very damaging for real American people who depend upon government services, it can provide an opportunity to downsize the scope and the scale of government, which is something that we've all always wanted to do.”

And there you have it. Johnson has explicitly stated that the shutdown – and the brutal consequences for the American people – is “something that we’ve all always wanted to do.” And he says this even as he acknowledges that it would be “very damaging for real American people.” So clearly he has thought this through.

Johnson went on to praise Russ Vought, a principal author of “Project 2025,” who is now in charge of Trump’s Office of Management and Budget, saying that “He gets to decide now what services are essential, what programs and policies should be continued, and which would not be a priority for taxpayers.” It should be comforting to the nation to know that the author of the notorious authoritarian handbook will be making those critical decisions. Although it isn’t any more discomforting than knowing that critical decisions are already being made by Johnson and Trump considering how “unhinged and unwell” Trump is. And Johnson seems to know that too…

WOW, REALLY? In this exchange Mike Johnson…? Doesn't deny that Trump is "unhinged and unwell," just that he thinks some Democrats are too.? Claims he didn't see Trump's deranged speech to an unprecedented gathering of military leaders. Even after it made international news.

For his part, Trump has previously expressed his agreement with what Johnson is saying now. “We can do things during the shutdown,” Trump noted gleefully, “that are irreversible and bad for them like cutting vast numbers of people out.” He’s referring to cutting people out of their healthcare programs. And for some reason Trump seems to think that this will only be bad for Democrats. It won’t be long before he finds out that Independents, and even some Republicans, are also going to be hurt – and pissed off.

Donald Trump Insurrection

This week there were reports published that accused the FBI of inserting undercover agents into the MAGA mob on January 6th to provoke the hostilities encouraged by their Dear Leader Trump. Those reports were published by a notoriously dishonest “news” outlet founded by conspiracy crackpot Glenn Beck. And naturally, Trump latched onto the story to advance his unrelenting litany lies about the horrific event, to demean the law enforcement institutions that he despises, and to exonerate the 1,500+ rioters that he pardoned.

In a comment posted to his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, Trump took a bold stance in support of lawlessness and cop beatings. He regurgitated the spurious allegations against the FBI as if they were facts saying that…

“It was just revealed that the FBI had secretly placed, against all Rules, Regulations, Protocols, and Standards, 274 FBI Agents into the Crowd just prior to, and during, the January 6th Hoax.”

What Trump asserts was “just revealed” were unfounded allegations published by the ultra-rightist rag, “The Blaze.” And his description of the violent insurrection as “the January 6th Hoax” furthers his dishonest efforts to portray the well documented treason as some sort of myth. But he was just getting started. He continued…

“This is different from what Director Christopher Wray stated, over and over again! That’s right, as it now turns out, FBI Agents were at, and in, the January 6th Protest, probably acting as Agitators and Insurrectionists, but certainly not as ‘Law Enforcement Officials.’ I want to know who each and every one of these so-called ‘Agents’ are, and what they were up to on that now ‘Historic” Day.'”

Trump doesn’t bother to specify how Wray’s account of events was “different” or untrue. But Trump does unload some lies of his own, alleging that FBI agents were “acting as Agitators and Insurrectionists.” Trump only wants to know who the falsely accused agents are so that he can continue his crusade of retribution, which was recently escalated with his indictment of former FBI Director, James Comey.

Not surprisingly, Trump was entirely wrong. The agents were not there prior to the violence. Nor were they “acting as Agitators.” And as it turns out, the depths of his departure from reality were exposed by his own FBI director, Kash Patel in a story published by Fox News. No, really…

“The FBI responded on Saturday to a report that 274 plainclothes agents were at the U.S. Capitol riot on Jan. 6, 2021, clarifying the role of bureau personnel while still blasting former Director Christopher Wray.

While the agents were on hand, they were sent in after the riot had begun to try to control the unruly crowd, officials told Fox News Digital.” […]

“‘Agents were sent into a crowd control mission after the riot was declared by Metro Police – something that goes against FBI standards,’ Patel told Fox News Digital. ‘This was the failure of a corrupt leadership that lied to Congress and to the American people about what really happened.'”

So the truth is that the FBI agents that were there were not “undercover.” And they were only there to attempt to quell the disturbance and prevent further lawlessness. And it’s likely they were sent because Trump was doing absolutely nothing about it (other than watching from the White House with glee). No FBI agents were assigned to, nor participated in, events that contributed to or exacerbated the riots incited by Trump.

That’s according to Kash Patel. Who also says that the deployment of FBI agents in response to the riots was “the failure of a corrupt leadership.” For the record, the leadership of the FBI at the time was Wray, the Trump-appointed director of the Bureau and, of course, Trump himself, who was still president until January 20.

Furthermore, neither Trump nor Patel cited any statements by Wray to Congress that were untruthful. They made ambiguous and baseless statements about Wray’s testimony where he denied any activity by agents that provoked the riots. Which was true. But that didn’t stop Trump and Patel from asserting that some unspecified falsehood was made anyway.

What’s more, in a bizarre twist, the insurrection that Trump has denied took place, or was just a bunch of peaceful, patriotic tourists, he is now admitting was a horrendous breach of the law perpetrated by the FBI over which he presided, and his faithful followers.

This is standard operating procedure for the Trump regime. Make false allegations against your political foes, back them up with stories from partisan rags, and shamelessly disseminate those lies to the media. However, in this case, they failed to coordinate their propaganda, and the result is that Patel is actually contradicting his boss in the White House. Which is an example of another trait of Trump World in addition to its dishonesty: Incompetence. For which, in a painfully ironic way, we should be grateful.

On Thursday Trump took another step down the path toward totalitarianism with the indictment of former FBI Director, James Comey, for alleged obstruction and lying to Congress. These charges were brought just days after Trump demanded that his Attorney Genuflect, Pam Bondi, go after Comey and others. Bondi obediently complied with a pathetic two page indictment that Comey has pledged to fight back against. Which is a smart move since Bondi utterly failed to make a case against Comey.

The Justice Department’s case against Comey is so bad that even Fox News is having trouble defending it. Setting aside their most prominent Trump disciples (Sean Hannity, Maria Bartiromo, Jesse Watters, Fox and Friends, etc.), who blindly slobber over Dear Leader like glassy-eyed groupies, at least two of Fox’s contributors are taking Comey’s side.

Howard Kurtz, Fox’s media analyst, was on the network’s evening “news” program to discuss the matter. And he didn’t mince words, saying that…

“This was completely and totally orchestrated by President Trump. He says he’s leaving it to Justice, but he very much out in the open, remember, he fired his own appointee as U.S. Attorney in that part of Virginia because he didn’t think there was enough evidence to bring this case, brought in a White House aide, his former defense lawyer, whose job was to get this done and apparently that has worked.

“I think we’ve become inured to this, but in previous administrations, any hint of contact with a criminal case would be a scandal on its own. And so, President Trump, by the way, he pulled the strings, has gotten his way with this initial indictment.”

That’s was an excellent summary of events. And coming from Kurtz, who has spent years propping up Trump, it’s particularly notable. But he wasn’t the only Fox News Trumpist slamming the indictments. Fox’s ultra-conservative legal analyst, Andrew McCarty, also weighed in on how ridiculous the Comey indictment is. He told Fox’s Senior Trump-Fluffer, Maria Bartiromo, that, “I don’t think there’s a case…it seems to be premised on something that’s not true.”

Bartiromo responded by trying to broaden the charges against Comey by dragging in Trump’s allegations of the infamous “Russia hoax.” But McCarthy knocks that down by correctly noting that that is not what this case is about. McCarthy informs Bartiromo that the Comey indictment alleges that he authorized a leak to the media by former Deputy FBI Director Andy McCabe. But all of the evidence – including an Inspector General’s report and McCabe’s own testimony – shows that that never happened.

For his part, Trump has been doing his best to tank the case by providing Comey with a defense for vindictive prosecution. To date Trump has proven his seething hatred by firing Comey’s daughter, who prosecuted Jeffrey Epstein’s partner, Ghislaine Maxwell. He also fired the U.S. Attorney, Erik Siebert, who concluded that there wasn’t sufficient evidence to indict Comey. Then he hired Lindsey Halligan, his personal lawyer with zero prosecutorial experience, to replace Siebert. With two days on the job she filed the indictment.

Add to that Trump’s rage-posting on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, where he celebrated the indictment saying “JUSTICE IN AMERICA! One of the worst human beings this Country has ever been exposed to is James Comey.”

In another posting Trump ranted that “HE LIED!…There is no way he can explain his way out of it. He is a Dirty Cop.” [and that…] “he was just assigned a Crooked Joe Biden appointed Judge, so he’s off to a very good start.” [and that…] “a very big price must be paid!”

All of that contributes to a defense for vindictive and/or selective prosecution. It could also be used to dismiss the case as a violation of the Constitution’s Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments that provide for “the presumption of innocence.”

Trump’s postings babbled on about the alleged lie that Comey purportedly made in testimony before the Senate in 2020. But he never bothers to specify what Comey said that was supposedly untrue. However, in Trump’s defense, that’s only because Trump was making it up and that there wasn’t anything that Comey said that was untrue.

That, however, has never stopped Trump before when he was determined to defame his foes and/or exalt himself. It’s standard operating procedure for Trump and his MAGA cronies. And it is going to fail bigly.

Trump Whines that ‘All They Do Is Hit Trump’ and Decrees That ‘They’re Not Allowed To Do That’

For the past few years Donald Trump and his fellow Republicans have belittled Democrats and liberals as “snowflakes” who were unable to tolerate a little criticism from their right-wing adversaries. The GOP sought to uplift themselves as models of manliness with spines of steel who could not be shaken by mere words or name-calling. This became a core symbol of their prideful self image.

In reality, there has been no one who has acted out more as a cowardly victim than Trump. He shrinks before the slightest scent of disapproval. He lashes out frantically in response to mildly negative remarks. And he employs howitzers to defend himself from house flies.

In the wake of the Charlie Kirk shooting, much of the MAGA movement has complained that any criticism aimed at Kirk was tantamount to sacrilege. They insisted that it was insufficient to condemn all political violence, you must also kneel worshipfully before the fallen conservative organizer, even if his words and actions were blatantly offensive.

This canonization of Kirk has led to the vilification of anyone who fails to exhibit anything other than pure reverence. As a result, liberal critic like Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel have suffered the wrath of the right and the punishment – as Jesse Watters of Fox News says – of being “thrown out of polite society.”

This week Kimmel was suspended from his program on ABC by the overlords at Disney. And their justification was that he had crossed a line of decency with regard to Kirk. That never actually happened, but the excuse was deployed anyway. Now however, Trump himself has shown that excuse to be a convenient lie. He told reporters that…

“Jimmy Kimmel was fired because he had bad ratings more than anything else. And he said a horrible thing about a great gentleman known as Charlie Kirk…And they should’ve fired him a long time ago. So you can call that free speech or not.”

Is Trump even capable of not lying?1?? Jimmy Kimmel was not fired. His show was suspended.2?? He doesn't have bad ratings. He's 2nd to Stephen Colbert.3?? He didn't say "a horrible thing" about Charlie Kirk. He was talking about the MAGA response.4?? It is definitely about free speech.

Oh. so according to Trump it was ratings that got Kimmel suspended – not fired (yet). Of course, none of what trump said was true. But that’s not exactly news. Later, on Air Force One, Trump elaborated on his views of Kimmel’s situation saying that…

“When you have a network and you have evening shows and all they do is hit Trump, that’s all they do — if you go back, I guess they haven’t had a conservative one in years, or something — when you go back and take a look, all they do is hit Trump. They’re licensed. They’re not allowed to do that. They’re an arm of the Democrat Party.”

So now the reasoning behind Kimmel’s ouster is because Trump’s feelings have been hurt by all that darn criticism he inspires. What’s worse, Trump says explicitly that “They’re not allowed to do that.” You have to wonder under what set of rules he is playing by if disagreement, criticism, and mockery, are not allowed. Certainly not those spelled out in the Constitution.

True to form, Trump’s Ministry of Propaganda – aka Fox News – comes to his defense. Fox’s Senior Trump-Fluffer, Sean Hannity did a segment Wednesday night wherein he claimed that, “I can’t find a single prominent conservative voice in the country that even remotely wanted, or hoped, or was pushing to get Jimmy Kimmel taken off the air.” Really? Not even Trump’s FCC chair, Brendan Carr and GOP House Speaker Mike Johnson. And of course Hannity’s BFF…

Fox News Flunky Jesse Watters Demands ‘Heinous’ Liberals Repent or Be Cast Out of Polite Society

Which makes it all the more preposterous that they are now posing as the heralds of decency and civility, and the paragons of purity. Those have never been among the personality traits that any rational person would associate with them. Especially Trump himself, who regularly lashes out at anyone who dares to make even a mild criticism of him.

Naturally, Trump’s Ministry of Propaganda – aka Fox News – is tirelessly on guard to defend Trump’s dishonor. And among the most ferocious defenders is the Fox News Senior Doofus, Jesse Watters. In an incredibly bizarre harangue, Watters unleashed his fury at everyone he blames for the increasing political violence in the country, including the shooting of ultra-conservative organizer, Charlie Kirk.

Of course, Watters blames Democrats and liberals, despite the fact that all of the available evidence proves that right-wingers are far more responsible for it. There was even a study conducted by the National Institute of Justice, an agency of the U.S. Justice Department, that confirmed that far right extremists were more violent. And in the midst of the current controversies, the DoJ disappeared the study. But none of that stopped Watters from raging that…

“These people are incapable of turning the temperature down. So it’s our responsibility to do it for them for the safety of the country and for their own safety. Their heinous movement should be politically destroyed, systematically dismantled. Their financial backing should be bankrupted, their media sponsors defeated [they will be] given one chance to confess and apologize. If they don’t, thrown out of polite society. […]

“And their acolytes in academia, behind the pulpit, in city councils and corporate America will be spotlighted and given one chance to confess and apologize. If they don’t, thrown out of polite society. We cannot live with people and work with people like this.”

Watters has some strange ideas about how to “turn the temperature down.” Apparently his recipe includes maligning his enemies as “heinous” and advocating for them to be “destroyed.” Although he generously offers them “one chance to confess” their sins. And if they submit and repent, then he won’t have them “thrown out of polite society.” How thoughtful. And not at all rhetorically hostile, is it?

It’s notable that Watters has aggregated every possible infidel in his decree. Teachers, pastors, politicians, businessmen, are all guilty of unspecified sins for which they must apologize. Because Watters and other good folks like him “cannot live with…people like this.” And who are the people like that? Well, Watters had decided before Kirk’s shooting suspect was even known. Last week he issued a declaration of war against some amorphous “they” who were responsible, saying that…

“They are at war with us. Whether we want to accept it or not, they are at war with us. And what are we going to do about it?”

Everything that Watters is saying is consistent with what Trump has been saying. The MAGA-verse couldn’t care less about lowering the temperature. They want to eliminate everyone who fails to subjugate themselves to Der Fuhrer. And they aren’t shy about admitting it. But unfortunately for them, the rest of us are not going to lay down for them or kneel before Trumpler. We will stand up for the principles of liberty and democracy that America was founded on. We will do so peacefully and with open hearts. And if they don’t want to join us, they can throw themselves out of polite society.

The Charlie Kirk Canonizers Cherish Free Speech So Much They Will Prohibit Anyone From Using It

In the wake of the horrific shooting of ultra-conservative activist and organizer, Charlie Kirk, perhaps the most notable response from right-wing adherents to the MAGA cult of Donald Trump has been their fierce aversion to free speech and political independence.

It isn’t enough for the Kirkians to solemnly honor the memory of the provocateur that they followed. They have a gnawing compulsion to elevate him to sainthood and decree any dissent to be unholy sacrilege. Not surprisingly, Trump himself is leading the charge of this emerging army of true believers. And praise for Kirk has devolved into a seething animosity toward his critics.

Disrespect for the departed is not something that civil people should engage in. But Trump has pledged to abuse the power of his office to retaliate against the infidels who seek to blaspheme their newly minted martyr. In his recent White House sermon he made it clear that dissent is verboten, saying that…

“My administration will find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity and to other political violence, including the organizations that fund it and support it.”

This is the same language used by the rest of the Kirkian flock who are so adamantly exalting him as a bastion of free and open dialogue. They apparently revere free speech so much that they believe it must be preserved in glass to keep it from being used by the unclean masses who would tarnish it. That sentiment is now being dispensed broadly throughout the MAGA-Sphere. For instance…

Sen. Katie Britt: “The rhetoric that led us to this moment, calling President Trump a fascist, calling him Hitler, you have news organizations and mainstream media celebrating that. Allowing those things to take place and be said on their networks. That is dangerous. […] Britt: If you are out there and you are celebrating the political assassination of a man who was exercising his free speech … you should be held accountable. You should be fired.”

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth: “Hegseth has told his staff to identify any members of the military who have mocked or condoned the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk so that they can be punished.”

GOP Rep. Clay Higgins: “I’m going to use Congressional authority and every influence with big tech platforms to mandate immediate ban for life of every post or commenter that belittled the assassination of Charlie Kirk. […] I’m also going after their business licenses and permitting, their businesses will be blacklisted aggressively, they should be kicked from every school, and their drivers licenses should be revoked. I’m basically going to cancel with extreme prejudice these evil, sick animals.”

That’s just a sampling of what is circling the drain in MAGAVille. And it is already having a real world impact. NPR found that “Over thirty people across the country have been fired, put on leave, investigated or faced calls to resign because of social media posts criticizing Charlie Kirk.”

The Kirk defenders might wonder why anyone would say anything untoward about their fallen hero. Well, the folks at Zeteo helpfully published an article of “Charlie Kirk in His Own Words.” It contains “17 quotes you should read from the right-wing activist and Trump ally who was tragically shot and killed.”

It is impossible to ignore the hypocrisy of those condemning liberals and other left of center citizens for using harsh language. They are hardly innocent in that regard themselves. And that goes double for the Trump regime that regularly maligns Democrats as a “domestic extremist organization,” calling them “radical left lunatics, Marxists, communists,” and “enemies of the people,” who “hate God,” and “want to destroy America.”

However, it also impossible to dismiss the fact that most political violence is committed by far right extremists. That was confirmed in a study by the National Institute of Justice, an agency within the Department of Justice. Interestingly, the DoJ removed that study from its website this week, just as interest in the subject has been growing.

Despite the right’s bellowing for retribution and the banishment from society of lefties who are mean to righties, they have a completely different standard for their own vicious vilifiers. This week the Fox News co-host of Fox and Friends, Brian Kilmeade, proposed “lethal injection” to kill all of the homeless in America. He offered a weak apology a few days later, but there has been no call from the right for Fox to fire or otherwise punish him.

For some reason, Trump totally neglected to mention all of the far more numerous examples of political violence committed by the far right. That truth was revealed in a study conducted by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ), the research, development, and evaluation agency of the United States Department of Justice. Their study found that…

“Militant, nationalistic, white supremacist violent extremism has increased in the United States. In fact, the number of far-right attacks continues to outpace all other types of terrorism and domestic violent extremism. Since 1990, far-right extremists have committed far more ideologically motivated homicides than far-left or radical Islamist extremists.”

Until today, that study was available (here) for all to read on the NIJ website. But now, just as people might want to confirm the state of violent extremist rhetoric in America, the study has been removed. Fortunately, it has been preserved by the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine. The missing NIJ page has been replaced by a message saying…

How convenient! At a time when there will be a great deal of interest in the facts surrounding violent political rhetoric, a study concluded last year has been disappeared. Which only makes it easier for liars like Trump to go on Fox News and gaslight America with grotesque distortions of reality that are aimed at bolstering his dishonest and dangerous narratives maligning Democrats.

Which is just what Trump did Friday morning. Joining his morning Ministers of Propaganda on Fox and Friends, Trump engaged in the following exchange with co-host Ainsley Earhardt (Sean Hannity’s fiancé)…

Earhardt: We have radicals on the right as well. We have radicals on the left. People are watching all of these videos and cheering, some people are cheering that Charlie was killed. How do we fix this country? How do we come back together?
Trump: I’ll tell you something that’s gonna get me in trouble but I couldn’t care less. The radicals on the right oftentimes are radical because they don’t want to see crime. They don’t want to see crime. Worried about the border. They’re saying, ‘We don’t want these people coming in. We don’t want you burning our shopping centers. We don’t want you shooting our people in the middle of the street.’

The radicals on the left are the problem. And they are vicious. And they are horrible. And they are politically savvy. Although they want men in women’s sports. They want transgender for everyone. They want open borders.

EARHARDT: We have radicals on the right as well. How do we fix this country?TRUMP: I'll tell you something that's gonna get me in trouble but I couldn't care less. The radicals on the right oftentimes are radical because they don't want to see crime. The radicals on the left are the problem.

Note that this was Trump’s response to Earhardt asking “How do we come back together?” So apparently he thinks that calling people “vicious” and “horrible,” and lying about their opinions is the path to unity and togetherness.

Even worse is Trump’s embrace of far right radicals whose acts of violence he sees as beneficial deterrents to crime. There are scores of examples of this, but here are just a few:

  • The man who killed 23 Walmart shoppers in El Paso was just trying to reduce illegal immigration.
  • The nine murders of Black parishioners in the Charleston, South Carolina, church were only intended to promote faithful living.
  • The attacks on Democratic politicians (Gov. Josh Shapiro of Pennsylvania, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan, Nancy and Paul Pelosi, Minnesota state representatives Melissa Hortman, John Hoffman, and their spouses), were all efforts to achieve ideological balance.
  • The hundreds of insurrectionists who stormed the Capitol (and who Trump pardoned), killing five police officers, were just trying to prevent Joe Biden from destroying the country. After all, in Trump’s mind Democrats are worse than Al Qaeda.

NO, REALLY! Trump’s Propaganda Minister Maligns the Democratic Party as a ‘Domestic Extremist Organization’

See? Trump radicals, good. Democrat radicals, bad. This is the sort of language that gives Trump’s MAGA minions permission to commit crimes against liberals. And it is intentional on Trump’s part. It’s one of the rare occasions when he knows exactly what he’s doing. And he gets no pushback whatsoever from his fellow Republicans or his pals on Fox News. They are all of one mind. And what if it incites further violence? Well, Trump already told you, when he said that “I couldn’t care less.”

UPDATE: Don Jr joins in to claim that political violence is only “one way” from the Democratic Party. And he advocates censorship telling Fox News that “anyone who is saying otherwise should be thrown off the air.”

Trump’s Border Czar Lies to Fox News that Protesters are Paid and He Will Prosecute the Funders

Already in the first few months of his second occupation of the White House, Trump has directed his Attorney Genuflect, Pam Bondi, to launch meritless investigations of everyone from Gov. Gavin Newsom, to Sen. Adam Schiff, to New York Attorney General Letitia James, to everyone who served honorably on the House Committee to Investigate January 6th. All driven by his personal animus and hunger for retribution.

On Sunday Trump dispatched his Migrant Harassment [and Border] Czar, Tom Homan, to Fox News to unleash another shipload of pure propaganda. The segment began with host Jason Chaffetz lining up a loaded, softball question for Homan…

Chaffetz: So those protesters that we do see, I mean, some of it might be organic, but does strike me, it seems, like a lot of them are being bused in. You see them at the end of these protests, actually getting back on buses. Are these protesters, the bulk of them, are they actually being financed from the outside? And is that something that Homeland’s looking at? Is the financing of how all these so-called organic protests are happening?
Homan: Absolutely. We know a lot of these protesters are being paid. Many have admitted to it. So, yes, there’s a whole effort right now in identifying those who are funding these operations, those who fund the weapons that are being used. So, yeah, and they’ll be held accountable too and held to the highest standards of the law. They will be prosecuted, too.

FOX: Are these protesters actually being financed from the outside, and is that something Homeland is looking at — the financing of how these so-called organic protests are happening?HOMAN: Absolutely … they will be prosecuted too

The suggestion by Chaffetz that protesters were “bused in” is intended to imply that they are not genuine protesters, but hired imposters. Like almost everything that Fox News airs, he has no evidence of that. Even if some protesters arrived in buses, it is not uncommon for people to organize transportation to a protest site. Chaffetz went on to ask whether the protesters were “financed from the outside.” Once again, that is a purely speculative commentary with no proof whatsoever.

Homan, however, took the bullpucky baton and ran with it. He affirmed that he will “absolutely” prosecute those who allegedly funded the protests. He claimed to “know a lot of these protesters are being paid.” Never mind that, despite his assertion, he is unable to name a single protester, much less many, who “admitted” to it.

Homan also claims that these mysterious funders were financing protesters with weapons. Which is peculiar, since none of them were found to be carrying any, and none were used during the protests. He is just escalating the accusations to instill more fear of a rich man who actually loves America. And, by the way, if Soros were funding some protesters, it is entirely legal to donate to groups who organize lawful protests. That is until Trump signs an executive order banning it in violation of the Constitution.

On the basis of those thin allegations, Hogan is promising to prosecute unnamed funders whose identities are still unknown. But rest assured it will likely lead to the rabid right’s perennial nemesis, George Soros. Trump himself recently threatened that “Soros should be charged with RICO because of their support of Violent Protests.” Which never happened. But that didn’t stop Trump from delivering the ominous warning that he “Be careful, we’re watching you!”

Soros is only guilty of having the audacity to criticize Dear Leader and to allegedly help other American citizens who share those criticisms to exercise their rights “peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” You know, like it says in the First Amendment.

Homan is one of Trump’s top generals in his war against democracy and freedom. And his frequent appearances on Fox News are not coincidental. Fox is Trump’s official Ministry of Propaganda and Disinformation. And Chaffetz is a high ranking disseminator of Trump’s lies. Here’s a taste of just how nauseatingly adoring and biased he is with regard to his orange messiah…

Fox News is Hot on the Trail of the Presidential Health Story – Bill Clinton’s, Not Trump

The assortments of “firsts” achieved by Donald Trump is extraordinarily long, and littered mainly by affairs most often associated with shame and disgrace. For instance, he is the first president to be impeached twice; the first to have been convicted of felonies; the first to have been adjudicated as a rapist; the first to engage in the flagrant profiteering of the presidency. And that’s an abridged list.

Another milestone achieved by Trump is that he is currently first among the most elderly American presidents. Now at 79, Trump is showing his age. He noticeably hobbles to and from his planes and limousines. And recent photos have shown him with severe bruises on his hands and badly swollen ankles. Both of which can be symptoms of more serious ailments. Yet he refuses to release detailed medical reports from his annual physicals. Although, he does frequently boast about his alleged mental acuity in a manner that is more revealing of cognitive dysfunction than clarity.

Naturally, Fox News is vigorously pursuing the timely and relevant story of the health of an American president. Just like they did when Joe Biden had the job. Except for one little thing. The president whose health they are probing is Bill Clinton, who left office 27 years ago. According to Fox News…

“Former President Bill Clinton is facing questions about his health after he was spotted in the Hamptons with what appeared to be a portable defibrillator. Photographs show someone accompanying the 79-year-old Democrat and his wife, Hillary, carrying what appeared to be a medical device.”

Fox News notes that “In 2004, he underwent quadruple bypass surgery. [And that] Years later, in 2010, he had another heart surgery in which he received coronary stents.” And demonstrating their journalistic bona fides, Fox News Digital “contacted Katz’s Delicatessen to verify Clinton’s order.” Watch out Woodward and Bernstein!

While Fox News was nailing down this epic scoop, the phrase “#TrumpIsDead” was a trending topic on Twitter/X for several hours. Obviously that isn’t true, but the reactions have been entertaining. The left is fake-celebrating, with clear knowledge that it’s a joke. MAGA, on the other hand, is furiously debunking it as if it were a serious news story.

Meanwhile, Trump isn’t helping matters by declaring his hopes of going to Heaven. “I want to try to get to Heaven if possible,” Trump grumbled. “I’m hearing I’m not doing well. I am really at the bottom of the totem pole.” Why is he suddenly fretting about his fate in the afterlife? Does he know something?

Trump makes the ascension to Heaven sound like it’s a prize to be won on a reality TV game show, like the one that he used to host. What’s more, he wasn’t seen in public for five days, until Sunday when the White House allowed him to be photographed on his way to his golf resort in Virginia. And even in that staged photo-op he didn’t look particularly well, and wasn’t seen golfing.

And yet, 79 year old Bill Clinton, with a history of heart problems, is seen with an aide carrying a medical device, and the MAGA media goes apeshit? They never bother to explore the very real health concerns of their Dear Leader, that actually ought to trouble them. But if Clinton or Biden get a pimple it dominates the news cycle for three weeks.

If Trump were to actually shuffle off this mortal coil, Fox News would likely report it as bad cold. And Trump’s cult followers would insist that he was still alive and partying with JFK Jr. Or worse, they would accuse some innocent Democrat of assassinating him. They are, if nothing else, imaginative.

Trump’s Propaganda Minister Maligns the Democratic Party as a ‘Domestic Extremist Organization’

In the process of emulating the authoritarian regimes that he so admires, Donald Trump is executing the very same strategies perfected by the oppressive dictators who have preceded him. He is parroting their domination of government, the legislature, the judiciary, and the media. He has clearly studied the playbook authored by the likes of Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un.

Fox News, Stephen Miller

The evidence of Trump’s autocratic ambitions is apparent in his disrespect for court orders, his rounding up of those he considers “undesirable,” his purging of career civil servants who fail to declare their devotion to him, and his punishing the press that doesn’t publish glowingly positive reviews of his every word and deed.

Assisting Trump in this mission to transform America into a fascist state is his Deputy Chief of Staff, Stephen Miller – aka Santa Monice Goebbels. As a senior White House official, Miller holds great sway with Trump and directs much of the activity that is generated from the Oval Office.

In his capacity as Minister of Propaganda, Miller regularly appears on Trump’s Disinformation Network, Fox News, to unveil the administration’s anti-American edicts. In his latest harangue Miller whines to Sean Hannity that Democrats are not thanking Trump for deploying military troops throughout major American cities (although only those led by Black mayors). But it’s much worse than that. Miller descends into a dystopian darkness wherein his political foes are no better than violent gangs and drug cartels. In fact, he literally accuses Democrats of being “dedicated exclusively” to such criminal outfits.

“Democrat Party does not fight for, represent, or care about American citizens. It is an entity dedicated exclusively to the defense of hardened criminals, gangbangers, and illegal alien killers and terrorists. The Democrat Party is not a political party. It is a domestic extremist organization. […] the Democrat Party as it exists today, it disgusts me. I do not recognize that party.”

It is worth noting that Miller is not an Internet troll spewing garbage political rants to an audience of mentally challenged MAGA-ites. He is a senior official in the Trump White House. And he is accusing the Democratic Party of being the political representatives of criminals and terrorists. Which is a peculiar accusation coming from a top aide of Trump who is a convicted felon, and who has pardoned numerous other felons, including domestic terrorists (See January 6th).

It is also worth noting that the Democratic Party’s registration exceeds that of Republicans or Independents. So Miller’s malicious comments are damning the majority party of the American people.

What’s more, Miller’s choice of words puts Democrats into the same category of slime bucket as MS-13, the Sinaloa Cartel, Tren de Aragua, etc. And by doing so he is setting the stage for Democrats to be legally harassed by Trump’s “Justice” Department, and even to be incarcerated or deported under national security based policies aimed at those that Trump has designated as domesticate terrorists.

Making matters even worse, while Miller was on Fox News, Trump was holding court at the White House and telling the assembled press that many in their own ranks were equally as guilty of being domestic terrorists. Responding to a question about his migrant harassment policies, Trump said that…

“They showed one scene where a bunch of Tren de Aragua guys, or whatever. Maybe MS-13. Maybe MSDNC, Okay? Because to me, they’re worse. MSNBC maybe is worse than Tren de Aragua. Real scum.”

This remark may have started out as an uncomfortably unfunny joke, but Trump quickly changed to a more obviously serious tone. It was not unlike his recent comments wherein he approvingly referred to the many people who he says would “rather have a dictator” than a president. It’s the second time he’s said that in two days. Is he trying to condition his flock to accept him in that role?

Trump: "The line is that I'm a dictator, but I stop crime. So a lot of people say, 'You know, if that's the case, I'd rather have a dictator.'"
