Trump’s FBI Boss, Kash Patel, Attacks the ‘Circus Animals’ at MSNBC for Reporting Accurately

The regime of Donald Trump has been feverishly pursuing a campaign of retribution against any and all opponents of his anti-American, authoritarian aspirations. Even mild critics of Trump are targeted for termination or other punishment for daring to show fealty to the law and the Constitution.

This week a victim Trump’s wrath was fired for refusing to stage a perp walk for former FBI Director, James Comey, when he was indicted on trumped up charges of lying to Congress. Such fabricated optics are explicitly illegal under federal law because their only purpose is to tarnish defendants and undermine their presumption of innocence that is protected by the Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments. Not that Trump & Co. care about the proper application of the law.

Reports of the FBI official’s firing were published by several news outlets, including Reuters, CBS News, and MSNBC. However the MSNBC report drew the attention of Trump’s FBI director, Kash Patel, who posted a comment on Twitter/X lashing out at the network in a manner that most resembles an infantile Internet troll. Which is precisely what Patel was prior to being recruited by Trump to run the FBI.

Trump's un-American and unqualified FBI director, Kash Patel, posts a chilling attack on a news network that he and Trump despise because it dares to report honestly about them.

Patel’s insulting characterization of MSNBC journalists as “ass clowns” and slobbering “circus animals” is profoundly inappropriate for any government official, much less for one of the nation’s top figures in law enforcement. They are childish and dehumanizing remarks that demean the office and inflame division and hostility toward the agency.

Furthermore, Patel calling MSNBC a “factory of disinformation” is both utterly unfounded and even ironic, considering Trump’s reliance on networks of proven liars like Fox News and Newsmax, who paid multi-million settlements for blatantly lying.

Patel’s complaint about MSNBC is that the network reported that he had fired an agent who refused to participate in an unlawful and brazenly political charade to humiliate Comey. Patel claimed that MSNBC “has no facts” to support their reporting. However, in his very next sentence he actually admits the MSNBC was right, saying that “In this @fbi, follow the chain of command or get relieved.” So he is confirming the story that an agent was “relieved” because he refused to follow what was an illegal order.

What’s more, Patel is lying about felons Roger Stone, Peter Navarro, and Steve Bannon, being perp walked. That never happened. While there may have been some media present for their arrests, it was incidental. It was not staged, encouraged, or intentional, on the part of the arresting agents or FBI leadership.

The fact that Patel would post a comment that is so repulsively inappropriate is just further proof of how ridiculously unfit he is for the office that Trump appointed him to. He has fired many other agents and officials in his short time as FBI director, including one recently for merely having a pride flag in his office – ten years ago. And more former agents are suing the Bureau for terminating them out of retribution for having done their jobs investigating and/or prosecuting convicted felon Trump.

This is further evidence of the model of fascist government that Trump is following. He is weaponizing the Justice Department against his perceived enemies. But worse, he is making all Americans less safe by eliminating so many highly experienced, senior officials who devoted their careers to public service and law enforcement. All to satisfy the ego and power obsession of wannabe dictator Donals Trump.
