One of the most peculiar and annoying things about any period of time when Donald Trump has occupied the white House, is that not a day – or an hour – goes by without him seeking to inject himself into the weary and unwilling minds of the American people. He unleashes a non-stop barrage of idiocy, anger, and self-exaltation in order to control his cult followers and satisfy his ego.

Ironically, another consequence of that social vibe bombing is that Trump often exposes the underpinnings of his motives in a manner that undermines his own purposes. He literally admits what is evil about his intentions in the most public way possible. In many cases confessing his own ignorance. For instance…
SEE THIS: What Trump Admits He Doesn’t Know: 13 Examples of His Failing Mental Acuity – or Blatant Lying
On Friday Trump answered some questions from the press during a meeting with oil company executives on how they will profit from his taking over Venezuela. As usual, his inability to maintain focus on the issue at hand resulted in some detours into wholly unrelated matters. So naturally he weaved off course revealing more than any mentally stable person would want to. And he began with a real doozy, responding to Kaitlan Collins of CNN, who asked him about an inappropriately early release of economic data…
Collins: You posted some numbers on Truth Social last night. People are saying you posted the jobs data early when you’re obviously not supposed to share it until the next morning. Did you do that on purpose?
Trump: No, no. I don’t know. If they posted them, I said post them whenever you get a chance. I don’t know. They gave me some numbers. When people give me things, I post them. But the numbers are amazing.
REALLY? First Trump tries to claim ignorance. Then he veers off to make a bizarre excuse, saying that he routinely just posts what ever he is given. Which seems like a bad policy from a national security perspective. Maybe people should stop giving him things.

As for the jobs numbers being “amazing,” that’s another Trump claim that bears no resemblance to reality. There was a paltry 50,000 jobs created in December. And there were big downward revisions for the two months prior. In response to that, Trump’s National Economic Council Director, Kevin Hassert, said that the BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics) numbers are not reliable. Never mind that Trump had fired the career BLS officials five months ago and installed his own people. So he’s insulting Trump’s chosen analysts. Maybe it isn’t really the numbers’ fault.
What’s more, the reason there isn’t a new BLS director is that the one that Trump tried to appoint was so unqualified, and a downright despicable person, that he couldn’t get confirmed by the GOP Senate and Trump withdrew the nominee. Hassert also claimed that “the unemployment rate went down quite a bit.” It went down from 4.5% to 4.4%. Which may have been due to holiday season hiring, and more people leaving the workforce.
After yet another bad jobs report, Trump's National Economic Council Director says the BLS numbers are not reliable.Trump fired the career BLS officials 5 months ago and installed his own people. And they still aren't reporting reliable numbers? Maybe it's not the numbers' fault.

Trump also addressed his preposterous obsession with occupying Greenland. The reason he offered up was tacked onto an open threat…
Trump: I would like to make a deal the easy way. But if we don’t do it the easy way, we’ll do it the hard way….But the fact that they had a boat land there 500 years ago doesn’t mean they own the land. I’m sure we had lots of boats go there also.
WTF? "The fact that they had a boat land there 500 years ago does not mean they own the land," could apply to the U.S. #TrumpIsAnIdiot
— News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2026-01-10T11:53:21.414Z
Of course we – the U.S. – did not have “lots of boats” go to Greenland 500 years ago, because there was no “we” at the time. Trump went on to brazenly lie that “if you take a look outside of Greenland right now” you’ll see Russian and Chinese destroyers “all over the place” who are going to occupy Greenland “if we don’t.” So he’s admitting to wanting to occupy Greenland. The easy way, or the hard way.
Furthermore, Trump’s argument that Denmark has no jurisdiction over Greenland just because they had a boat land there is more than a little odd. Because it could just as easily apply to the United States who had a boat land in the “New World” about 500 years ago (1492). So we don’t own that?
Remember, this was a meeting with oil executives on the future of Venezuela. But Trump also wandered off to threaten Iran, where there is an uprising against the ruling regime. He warned that if they “start shooting, we’ll start shooting too.” So he’s threatening to start yet another war? This isn’t gonna help his campaign for a Nobel Peace prize.
Trump warns Iran that if they "start shooting, we'll start shooting too."On the other hand, Trump's pal Putin in Russia has been killing tens of thousands of civilians in Ukraine, but he is going to sell them Venezuela's oil to further fuel their slaughter,

Trump’s feigned concern that Iranian protesters might get killed is curious considering that his pal Vladimir Putin in Russia has been killing tens of thousands of civilians in Ukraine for three years. But Trump’s punishment for that is that he will sell them Venezuela’s oil to further fuel their slaughter.
Finally, Trump told the New York Times that the only limit on his power, the only thing that can stop him, is “My own morality. My own mind. [and that] I don’t need international law.” And that’s another admission of his deranged, authoritarian aspirations. Which he has made a point of admitting in many ways – overt and covert – for several years. And his cowardly, sycophantic Republicans, along with the MAGA media, still seem to be fine with it.
Trump says that the only limit on his power, the only thing that can stop him, is "My own morality. My own mind."For the Record: #Trump has no morality. He's a malignant narcissist whose 80 year old mind is severely impaired. And admits that he only "consults" with himself.
