Trump Himself Confirms that He is the Most Deviant Lawbreaker in Presidential History

In the few short years that Donald Trump has occupied the White House (yeah, I know, it seems like an eternity in hell), he has managed to make effective use of that time to distinguish himself as a fierce foe of the Constitution and the principles embedded in it that define true American greatness.

Donald Trump, Prison

Trump has exploited his position in order to enrich himself, his family, and his billionaire pals. He has pressured his “Justice” Department to persecute his political enemies. He has suppressed evidence of crimes committed by himself and his MAGA allies. He has bullied the free press into sanitizing his words and nefarious deeds. And he has fomented fear among his cult disciples to feed their hatred and fuel their blind loyalty.

In addition to the all of that, Trump has presided over a regime of lawlessness. He issues executive orders that are entirely devoid of legal justification or force of law. He takes actions that he has no lawful authority to take. And he strongarms Congress to pass legislation that is blatantly unconstitutional.

Consequently, Trump has had a difficult time with the courts that review his tyrannical overreach. For example, the Supreme Court, that currently has a conservative majority, just ruled against Trump’s attempt to revoke the Constitution’s guarantee of birthright citizenship. He also lost a case wherein he tried to ban mail-in voting, and another that dealt with reproductive healthcare.

Decisions such as these are driving Trump even crazier than usual. This Trump madness has resulted in his reposting of a tweet by GOP Rep. Abe Hamadeh (AZ, MAGA) on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social.

Hamadeh wrote that “In their desperate bid to to stop president Trump, activist judges have seized power from the president.” He also claimed that it was a “blatant override of executive authority [that] has shredded public trust and accelerated Americans’ loss of faith in our institutions.” Additionally, the tweet included a chart of “Preliminary Injunctions Against Administrative Policies of Sitting Presidents” and called it a “Tyranny of the judiciary.”

Nothing has “shredded public trust” more than Trump and his MAGA-tists viciously and personally maligning any judge that delivers a ruling that he doesn’t like. But the most notable part of this commentary is the chart that shows the number of adverse rulings by recent presidents: Bush: 6, Obama: 12, Trump: 75, Biden: 21, Trump: 169.

Trump and company view this chart as proof that the judiciary is biased against him. But in reality it reveals that Trump is just in violation of the law far more often than his peers. And it isn’t some conspiracy of bias, because many of these rulings were made by judges that were appointed by Republicans, including Trump. And the disparity is profound. The chart displayed a total of 39 adverse rulings in 20 years for Bush, Obama, and Biden combined. While there were 249 in only five years for Trump alone.

Nevertheless, a subsequent post by Trump blames it all on Democrats, with Trump accusing them of engaging in “lawfare on steroids,” and warning that “Our republic will die in a black robe.” That’s the sort of deranged hyperbole that Trump traffics in daily. And on this particular day Trump was in rare form. He posted 105 comments before dinner. Most were exaltations of himself and his work on the Reflecting Pool and other D.C. tourist attractions.

Trump did slip in half a dozen comments warning about “godless communists,” by which he means Democrats. But it’s good to see that he remains laser-focused on what matters most to the American people. And he is keeping busy online rather than wasting more time with the war against Iran that he started and is losing, or trying to resolve the affordability crisis, which he is also responsible for. In the meantime, the nation waits to see what other laws he will break going forward. And we haven’t even mentioned Jeffrey Epstein yet.
