Trump’s First Post-Election Interview Will Be 60 Minutes Sunday. What Will He Say? That’s Easy!

This week Donald Trump and his MAGA Republican Party suffered one of the worst electoral debacles of modern times. Democrats flipped at least seven Republican Senate seats. They flipped at least five GOP-held governorships. They now have majorities in the House, the Senate, and the state houses.

Donald Trump on CBS News (See BS)

Nevertheless, Trump has characteristically failed to learn the lessons of this Blue Tidal Wave that has swept so many Republicans out to sea. Virtually every issue that voters identified as their reasons for voting Democratic were issues that Trump initiated and advanced, including his inflationary tariffs, waging reckless and illegal wars, militarizing American streets, and relentless corruption. Naturally, Trump doesn’t see it that way.

SEE THIS: HYSTERICAL: Trump Blames the Historic Rout of his MAGA Republican Party on – Fox News?

Trump is employing his routine strategy of blaming his failures on everyone and everything other than himself. In a spectacularly tone deaf move, Trump promoted his Senior Neo-Fascist Advisor, Stephen Miller, to Chief of Staff, replacing Susie Wiles. Last month Trump complained that reports of her stepping down were “fake news” and that there was “zero chance” she was leaving.

Now CNN’s Brian Stelter is reporting that Trump is giving his first post-election interview to conservative correspondent Ross Douthat on the newly MAGA-fied CBS News network’s “60 Minutes” program this Sunday. Which hardly seems like a newsworthy event considering the biases of the outlet. Even worse, Trump’s predictability will almost certainly produce an interview that will be devoid of any substance or sanity. It will go something like this…

Question: Who is responsible for the GOP’s midterm election fiasco?
Trump: Well, it wasn’t me. That I can tell you.
Question: Okay, then who was it?
Trump: It was the fake news news, including Fox. And the voters who were angry with Republicans, not me. Because those RINOs failed to promote how incredibly successful I’ve been. Also, the election was rigged.
Question: What exactly were some of your successes?
Trump: Well, I raised trillions of dollars with tariffs.
Question: But if the economy is doing so well, why are people unable to afford gas, and groceries, and healthcare, and housing?
Trump: Affordability is a hoax. We have more gas than ever that I got from Iran.
Question: Speaking of Iran, that war has been going on now for eight months. When will it end?
Trump: Well. first of all it’s not a war. And it has been a huge success that I won many times already. And it hasn’t raised gas prices very much.
Question: So then why did voters reject everything that you stand for?
Trump: Because the sleazy fake news traitors put out nothing but negative propaganda about me. I’m more popular than ever, and more than every other president. I’ve made America greater than ever before in history.

Trump will stall for time by filibustering with nonsense about how awful the “low IQ, radical far left communist Democrats” are, and his great relationships with foreign dictators like Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un, and his selfless efforts to beautify Washington, D.C. with monuments to himself, such as the Lincoln Reflecting Pool, the Kennedy Center, his vanity ballroom, and a “triumphal” arch that is also an ammunition dump and sniper’s nest.

And let’s not forget what he’s done to the Oval Office, which he absurdly believes he can preserve forever as a National Monument with an executive order.

And that’s the whole interview in a nutshell, with an emphasis on the “NUT.”. There will be little else discussed, and nothing of any significance revealed. So now you all can skip watching another half hour of Trump lying, and whining, and lobbing infantile insults at his perceived enemies. You’re welcome!
