The King of Conspiracy Theories Whines that Democrats Don’t Talk Enough About How Awesome He Is

There has never been a time in American politics when the prominence of crackpot conspiracy theories and their purveyors has been more closely associated with widely distributed media and high ranking government officials, including the current Crackpot-in-Chief, Donald Trump. The promotion of these former fringe dwellers to the mainstream of right-wing politics is having a noticeably deleterious effect on modern culture.

Donald Trump, Snowflakes

Nowhere is that effect more evident than in and around Trump and his fellow fruitcakes. It is often said that every allegation that Trump makes against others is a confession of his own crimes and misconduct. And Trump’s relentless attacks on Democrats, the media, foreign leaders, and even his own MAGA and GOP comrades, is further proof of just how deranged he has become. For instance…

SEE THIS: Trump Says He Doesn’t Want His Past ‘Weakling’ Supporters Who Bought Into the ‘BS’ Epstein Hoax

In a profoundly bizarre press conference with the European Commission President, Ursula von der Leyen, Trump repeatedly wandered off into unrelated tangents. His mental acuity is so damaged that he is unable to focus on any subject in detail for more than a few seconds. During one of these schizoid detours, Snowflake Trump complained that it is Democrats who are obsessed with conspiracy theories. Trump raged that…

“Our country was dead. We had a dead country. Because of an incompetent president and incompetent Democrats. All they know how to do is talk and think about conspiracy theories and nonsense. If they’d waste their time talking about America being great again, it would be so much nicer, so much easier.”

First of all, what Trump is describing as a dead country was anything but that. The economy was booming. Job creation was at record levels. And our international allies respected us. President Biden had restored the health and prosperity of the nation following Trump’s failures and his deadly mismanagement of the COVID pandemic.

More to the point. Trump’s accusation that the only things that Democrats want to talk about are “conspiracy theories and nonsense” is not only untrue, it’s a description of Trump’s rhetorical fixations. Recently Trump has been spewing nonsense about his relationship with child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, while making multiple, contradictory excuses for why he refuses to release the files in the custody of his Justice Department.

Furthermore, in a flagrant attempt to deflect from the Epstein matter, Trump and his crew have fabricated a ludicrous conspiracy that they say was orchestrated by President Obama to charge Russia with election interference. Those charges, however, were well documented and even agreed to by Republicans, including Trump’s Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.

MORE HERE: Trump’s DNI and Fox News Manufacture a New Crackpot Conspiracy Theory Accusing Obama of Treason

Trump is the unchallenged King of Conspiracy Theories. In the past he championed the lies that Obama was a Muslim born in Kenya. He advocated the death penalty for five Black men who were falsely accused of murder. And his present adventures in conspiratorial intrigue even devolve into preposterous matters such as his demented preoccupation with the menacing horror of windmills that he promises to protect us all from.

ON WINDMILLS…TRUMP: Windmills are killing us!DON QUIXOTE: More than thirty monstrous giants appear…and it is a great service to God to wipe such a wicked brood from the face of the earthTrump is INSANE!

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-07-27T16:34:52.137Z

Trump’s petulant whining about windmills is a heaping pile of bullpucky. He complains about them ruining the scenery, producing energy that is too expensive, being built only in China, and rotting in the fields. All of which are gross misrepresentations of reality. In the past he has said that they cause cancer, kill birds, and make whales go insane. More recently he lied that there are no windmills in China.

It remains one of the great mysteries of modern times how anyone can believe anything that Trump says, or support him as a leader. And it says something acutely depressing about a certain small segment of the American electorate. But on a positive note, Trump’s fumbling on the Epstein affair might just be shaking some of his cult followers out of their trance. Keep hope alive.

Trump White House Whines About ‘Political Disinformation’ – While They Are Disseminating It

If anyone is curious about just how frightened Donald Trump is about the prospect of the Jeffrey Epstein files being released, all they need to do is observe how desperately he is pushing preposterous and wholly unsupported allegations against President Obama, who Trump et al are accusing of treason.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Trump Lies

Ever since the blatant hypocrisy of Trump’s Attorney Genuflect, Pam Bondi, assuring Fox News that she is reviewing the Epstein client list that is “sitting on my desk right now,” then subsequently insisting that no such list exists, the snowballing backlash aimed at Trump, from his own most loyal cult followers, has threatened to bury him politically. Consequently, he has concocted a malicious, mendacious melodrama wherein he and his cohorts are accusing Obama of a capital crime against America.

SEE THIS: Trump’s DNI and Fox News Manufacture a New Crackpot Conspiracy Theory Accusing Obama of Treason

The allegations by the Trump regime have no basis in reality. Their own documents fail to prove their ludicrous claims. But conforming to reality has never been a prerequisite for Trumpist bullshittery. And it isn’t now. Which explains why Trump’s Propaganda Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, can shamelessly stand behind the podium in the White House Press Briefing Room and spout off bona fide garbage like this (video below)

“This is truly one of the greatest political scandals in American history. And reporters at legacy outlets, some of which are sitting in this room today, like the New York Times and the Washington Post, were ridiculously awarded Pulitzer prizes for their perpetuation of this hoax. It is well past time for those awards to be stripped from the journalists that received them.”

What Leavitt is referring to are articles that accurately reported the well documented and unsavory associations between Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign and Russian operatives. Those articles were thoroughly researched and backed up by both documentary evidence and witness testimony. They deservedly won Pulitzer prizes for which Trump is now suing the Pulitzer board in a futile and infantile effort to get them revoked. But Leavitt was just getting started. She went on to complain that…

“It is not journalism to propagate political disinformation in service of the Democrat Party and those in the intelligence community who hand over out of context and fake intelligence to push a false political narrative.

“I will now pass it over to the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, to speak more about all of this.”

Leavitt is actually right that “It is not journalism to propagate political disinformation.” Even though that is exactly what she is doing. This is just another swing at the crackpot conspiracy theory that Obama had intelligence reports altered to say that Russia tried to interfere in the 2016 election. Which in fact, they did try to do. That was affirmed by multiple analyses by the Intel community, as well as the Senate Intelligence Committee investigation that was led by then-senator Marco Rubio. The bipartisan Committee reported that…

“…the Russian government engaged in an aggressive, multifaceted effort to influence, or attempt to influence, the outcome of the 2016 presidential election. […and that…] Moscow’s intent was to harm the Clinton Campaign, tarnish an expected Clinton presidential administration, help the Trump Campaign after Trump became the presumptive Republican nominee, and undermine the U.S. democratic process.”

The plot of this phony scandal by Trump, Leavitt, and Gabbard, would make a really bad political movie due its implausibility and utter lack of factual substance. On the other hand, it could make a pretty good farcical satire about nutcases propagating insane delusions of government psyops. And they could use the real graphics contrived by Trump’s people, such as the one on the left below that was posted by both Trump and his White House accounts…

Trump's White House isn't babbling about crackpot conspiracy theories at all, are they?

Scaredy Trump Kicks the Wall Street Journal Out of the Press Pool for His Next Junket Overseas

The six month old tenure of Donald Trump’s second occupation of the White House has been a debacle of epic proportions. He has presided over a faltering domestic economy that has resulted in a higher cost of living. And his foreign policy is anchored by fascist round ups of migrants, betrayal of international allies, and threats to Panama, Greenland, and Canada of forced annexation.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Rupert Murdoch

In the midst of all of that, Trump also seems to be intent on preserving his place as the most hostile American president toward the free press and the protections granted it in the First Amendment of the Constitution. His animosity toward honest, unfettered journalism is evident in his reshaping of the White House press office that is now populated by MAGA cult propagandists and Trump-fluffing Internet trolls. Including a Russian funded MAGA podcaster.

SEE THIS: Trump Declares Himself King of the White House Press Corps, Will Now Decide Who Can Question Him

So it shouldn’t surprise anyone that Trump has now banished the Wall Street Journal from the press poll that will accompany him on his upcoming trip to Scotland. Some folks might wonder why Trump would single out a markedly right-wing newspaper owned by his friend – and Fox News owner – Rupert Murdoch. Well, as reported by Politico

“The White House is removing the Wall Street Journal from the pool of reporters covering the president’s weekend trip to Scotland, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told POLITICO. The move follows the Journal’s report alleging that President Donald Trump sent a sexually suggestive message to Jeffrey Epstein in 2003.”

That’s right! Trump is lashing out like spurned child against a playmate that was insufficiently adoring and obedient. The article in the Journal described a birthday card that Trump allegedly signed for his pedo-pal, Jeffrey Epstein, as having a line drawing of a naked woman with Trump’s unique and disturbing birthday wish saying that “may every day be another wonderful secret.”

Trump has already filed a $10 billion lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal for their article. That case has now been assigned to a judge in the Southern District of Florida who was appointed by President Obama. Ironically, it’s the same District as Trump flunky judge Aileen Cannon. This sets up precisely the scenario that Trump wants. When he loses this meritless case he will blame the judge for being biased and assert that the whole justice system is corrupt.

In the meantime, Trump is proving that he is too afraid to face any questions about his relationship with Epstein, the story about the birthday card, or the lawsuit itself. Trump’s Propaganda Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, who couldn’t even muster a denial that he is on the Epstein client list, released a statement saying…

“As the appeals court confirmed, the Wall Street Journal or any other news outlet are not guaranteed special access to cover President Trump in the Oval Office, aboard Air Force One, and in his private workspaces. Thirteen diverse outlets will participate in the press pool to cover the President’s trip to Scotland. Due to the Wall Street Journal’s fake and defamatory conduct, they will not be one of the thirteen outlets on board.”

If allegations about “fake and defamatory conduct” are the standard for whether a news organization is granted access to the president, then there aren’t very many news organizations that would pass Trump’s test. In addition to the Wall Street Journal, he has already sued ABC News, CBS News, the New York Times, the Washington Post, and CNN. And most of the rest of the media he has declared is “fake” news. That’s why his press pool is infested with suck-ups like One America News, Breitbart, and various online fraudcasters.

If this case actually goes to trial, Trump is unlikely to win. He would have to show evidence that what they published was either knowingly false, or that it had reckless disregard for the truth. And the claim that the Journal “maligned President Trump’s character and integrity” would be difficult to prove, considering that he has no discernable character or integrity.

Nevertheless, some of the other targets of Trump’s multibillion lawsuits have settled with him for a few million dollars due to fear of him using his governmental powers to retaliate against their corporate owners. The Wall Street Journal doesn’t appear to have any pending business that would make such threats viable. And for the time being they are standing firm with a pledge to vigorously defend themselves and their reporting.

However, given Trump’s willingness to abuse the vast power of the federal government, and his friendship with Murdoch, time will tell if they can weather this storm of litigation, or persuade Trump to lay off. In the meantime, they have been shut out of the press pool, along with the Associated Press, and others who offended Trump’s tender fee fees. That’s the risk you take if you comply with an aspiring dictator who seeks to control the media and silence any and all dissenting voices.

SUNDAY FUNNIES: Toddler Trump Dumps a Bucket of Bullpucky in a Pitiful Ploy to Deflect From Epstein

Earlier this month Donald Trump was shaken by the escalation of news reporting about convicted pedophile and sex trafficker, Jeffrey Epstein, and his personal relationship with the man that he called a “terrific guy.” But as the saga unfolded, Trump feigned some measure of confidence that it would be a two day story at worst.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Twitter

Two weeks later the story still dominates the news cycle, and has even ballooned into a major scandal for Trump that is weakening his support among many of his previously devoted disciples. And most of the blame for the escalation lies with Trump himself, and his staff who keep fueling the fire with inadvertently incriminating defenses and blatantly obvious efforts to create diversions. Even his Propaganda Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, has contributed to the controversy.

SEE THIS: Trump’s Press Secretary, in a Rambling Defense, Fails to Say Trump is Not in the Epstein Files

On Sunday morning, Trump engaged in the typically Trumpian pursuit to cast alternative scrum into the media sea to distract the sharks from feeding on his political carcass. He posted a flurry of comments on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, that only made it more clear how desperate and scared he is.

What follows are some annotated excerpts from his comments. The full postings are linked to TrumpsTruth.org,” a website that reposts his Truth Social remarks, so you don’t have to click through to his website.

Let’s begin with…

…a comment wherein Trump praises himself and the six month anniversary of his second occupation of the White House. He gushes that he is “being hailed as one of the most consequential periods of any President.” Which is technically true. Most people would describe his assault on democracy and the Constitution as “consequential.” However, he went on to claim that “One year ago our Country was DEAD, with almost no hope of revival.” You have to wonder what drugs he is taking that would produce that sort of delusional hysteria.

Next up…

…was Trump’s reporting on his poll numbers. He wrote that “My Poll Numbers within the Republican Party, and MAGA, have gone up, significantly, since the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax […] and are all Republican Party records.” Okay. In some polls there has been a slight uptick in his support by his MAGA cult. Which only tells you something about how deeply indoctrinated they are. However, his support is by no means a record for either party. Although his overall approval rating is at a record low for him.

Mike Johnson fails to mention that Trump's approval rating of 90% is just among Republicans. And other presidents have been even higher among their own party:? George Bush: 99% after 9/11.? Barack Obama: 93% after Obamacare passed.? Joe Biden: 95% after his inauguration.

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-07-18T16:38:02.356Z

Trump went on to say that “People like…all of the many other things I have done.” Which is a flagrant falsehood. He is underwater on nearly every issue, including those he is most closely associated with, such as immigration and the economy.

Next Trump sought…

…to reanimate an old story about the renaming of the Washington Commanders from its previous name, the Redskins. He whined that “The Washington ‘Whatever’s’ should IMMEDIATELY change their name back to the Washington Redskins Football Team. There is a big clamoring for this.” The only clamoring for this is from his fellow racists who enjoy using pejorative slurs. But Trump even claimed that “Indians” want this. Which shows just how in touch he is with Native Americans.

In a fit…

…aimed at a perennial foe, Trump raged that “Adam Schiff is a THIEF! He should be prosecuted, just like they tried to prosecute me, and everyone else — The only difference is, WE WERE TOTALLY INNOCENT, IT WAS ALL A GIANT HOAX!” Of course, reality tells us that Sen. Schiff has committed no crime. Trump can’t even cite one. But Trump was convicted by a jury that found him guilty of 34 felonies. He was also found liable for sexual abuse by separate jury in a civil case, which the judge later clarified was rape.

Finally…

…Trump has bought into the lies being promulgated by his Russia-affiliated Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard. He wrote that, “In the months leading up to the November 2016 election, the Intelligence Community agreed that there was no Intelligence that reflected that Russia was trying to hack the election.” That preposterous statement contradicts everything known about the well documented plot by Russia to interfere with the 2016 presidential election. His own Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, was the acting chair of the Senate committee that investigated the matter and affirmed Russia’s involvement. This, however, is a more complicated matter that is explained…

IN MORE DETAIL HERE: Trump’s DNI and Fox News Manufacture a New Crackpot Conspiracy Theory Accusing Obama of Treason

Rest assured that the above is only the tip of the iceberg. Trump will continue fanning the flames of his Epstein soap opera until either the media gets tired of it, or he is indicted and resigns. Rest assured also, that most of America is praying for the latter.

UPDATE: Trump has already added a couple more diversionary comments. One in which he threatens the Washington Commanders to change their name back or he would block a new stadium proposal. And one in which he complains that a Wall Street Journal article mentioned that his Treasure Secretary “explained” to him that firing Fed Chair Jerome Powell would tank the stock market. Trump boasted that “People don’t explain to me, I explain to them!” Because he is the messiah that knows all.

Trump’s Press Secretary, in a Rambling Defense, Fails to Say Trump is Not in the Epstein Files

AND THE PLOT SICKENS… Much to the dismay pf Donald Trump, the scandalous Jeffrey Epstein affair refuses to go away. Not that he and his White House cronies aren’t making a valiant effort to bury the story. For the past couple of weeks they have alternately claimed that the Epstein files would send many Democrats to prison; or that they don’t exist; or that they exist but were made up by Democrats, who then didn’t bother to use them. And that’s just for starters.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump and Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt

The Trumpy excuses continued with claims that there is nothing significant in the files. But that the Democrats altered them, which would be illegal, but Trump and company still won’t release them, even to incriminate the Democrats. It all makes perfect sense – if you’re high on acid. And now Trump is outraged that his cult won’t STFU about the “bullsh*t” Epstein “hoax,” despite his demands that they do so. So he’s calling them “stupid,” “weaklings,” whose support he no longer wants. Never mind that it was a scandal manufactured and spread by Trump and his devotees in the first place.

SEE THIS: Trump Says He Doesn’t Want His Past ‘Weakling’ Supporters Who Bought Into the ‘BS’ Epstein Hoax

This brings us to the next chapter in the Trump/Epstein soap opera. It stars Trump’s Secretary of Propaganda, Karoline Leavitt, who took some questions from the White House press corps, who still want Trump to come clean for once. And that includes this question from – of all people – Fox News White House correspondent, Jacqui Heinrich. She brought up Trump’s assertion that the Epstein files are a hoax, and asked “Which part of the “Epstein Hoax” is the hoax part?” Leavitt replied…

“The president is referring to the fact Democrats have now seized on this. As if they ever wanted transparency when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein. Which is an asinine suggestion for any Democrat to make. The Democrats had control of this building, the White House, for four years, And they didn’t do a dang thing when it came to transparency in regards to Jeffrey Epstein and his heinous crimes. It was this president who directed the Department of Justice and the Attorney General to do an exhaustive review of all files relating to Jeffrey Epstein. Which they did.”

FOX: Which part the Epstein hoax is the hoax part?LEAVITT: The president is referring to the fact that Democrats have now seized on this as if they ever wanted transparency when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2025-07-17T17:55:21.983Z

Notice that what Leavitt is describing as the “hoax part” is the role that she says Democrats have played in the quest for Trump to release the information held by his Justice Department. She did not say that any allegations that Trump is on Epstein’s client list, or that he participated in the pedophile activity, are a hoax. That’s quite a damning omission. Are we now to assume that those things are true? Also, it isn’t just Democrats who have “seized” on this issue. In fact, it’s mostly Trump’s own cult disciples.

Leavitt’s explanation of the alleged transparency of the Trump regime is also an incoherent mess. If Democrats altered the documents in order to frame Trump, as Trump claims, why would they then withhold those documents? And if the Justice Department did “an exhaustive review,” as Leavitt claims, why would Trump refuse to release the documents following that review? Leavitt later added that…

“The Attorney General and the FBI, led by Pam Bondi, Dan Bongino, Kash Patel. These are great patriots. Some of the most trusted voices in the Republican Party movement. It’s part of the reason the president appointed them to these high law enforcement positions.”

Notice that Leavitt praises them as “trusted voices in the Republican Party movement,” not trusted voices in America, or in law enforcement. Her description of them as blatantly partisan makes them entirely inappropriate for the positions that Trump gave them. Then Leavitt closed by saying that…

“The president has been transparent. He has followed through on his promises to the American people. But he doesn’t like to see Democrats and the mainstream media covering this like it’s the biggest story the American people care about.”

Leavitt: "The president doesn't like to see Democrats and the mainstream media covering [Epstein] like it's the biggest story the American people care about. The president has been working so hard this week."

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2025-07-17T17:56:48.641Z

First of all, Trump, by definition, has not been transparent, because he refuses to release the files. Secondly, he hasn’t kept his promises to the American people, because he promised to release the files. And finally, it’s no wonder that he doesn’t like to see the media covering this issue, because he knows what is in those files, which probably has something to do with why he refuses to release them. So maybe Trump should – oh, I don’t know – release the files? And maybe Leavitt should stop lying, for a change.

Trump Says He Doesn’t Want His Past ‘Weakling’ Supporters Who Bought Into the ‘BS’ Epstein Hoax

The raging animosity that is a permanent feature of Donald Trump’s alleged personality has been observed in his frequent, infantile insults aimed at his innumerable, perceived foes. He simply isn’t capable of keeping a cool head when he is criticized. And the result is a tsunami of invective and seething hatred toward those he regards as traitors, or even those who are not sufficiently worshipful.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Fox News, QAnon

Betraying Dear Leader is an unforgivable sin. Should you be designated as unfaithful, you will be subjected to his hysterical wrath. That outpouring of punitive vengeance applies to anyone that crosses Trump, including his own staff and billionaire donors. Just ask Elon Musk.

SEE THIS: Wannabe Dictator Trump Threatens ‘Serious Consequences’ If Musk Donates to Democrats

Now Trump has extended the scope of his rabid revenge-seeking to include his MAGA supporters that refuse to obey his commands to stop talking about his longtime friend, Jeffrey Epstein. Trump’s decree to STFU about Epstein has been ignored by many in the MAGA cult who were previously ordered to believe and promulgate the charges about Epstein and to insist that all of the government data on him be released. It was, after all, a scandal manufactured and spread by Trump and his devotees in the first place.

Now that the most plausible speculation about who might be implicated in the sexual crimes and deviancy of Epstein points to Trump, the Abuser-in-Chief is whistling a different tune. Consequently, those that Trump had coerced into disseminating his conspiracy theories must now reverse course and let the whole matter slide into nothingness as if it were just a bad dream. Trump posted a comment on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, in which he has disavowed his once loyal cult disciples.

The whole post was an interminably long and incoherent screed that obsesses over past “scandals” that Trump can’t quit ranting about. And despite his complaint that the Epstein affair should be forgotten because he “died a long time ago” (six years), he’s still fixated on a bunch of things that are even older.

Trump began by writing that “The Radical Left Democrats have hit pay dirt, again!” Then he rattled off a series of his standard whining about nonsense from the past, including what he called “the fully discredited Steele Dossier, lying 51 ‘Intelligence’ Agents, the Laptop from Hell, the Russia, Russia, Russia Scam, and Crooked Hillary Clinton’s big loss.” None of which comports with reality. Then he dropped this bomb on his cult…

“Their new SCAM is what we will forever call the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax, and my PAST supporters have bought into this ‘bullshit,’ hook, line, and sinker. […] I don’t want their support anymore!”

So according to Trump everyone should stop talking about the Epstein files because they don’t exist. But also, his Attorney Genuflect, Pam Bondi, should release the credible files that don’t exist. But also, they were created by Obama and Biden and Comey, and still shouldn’t be released to prove that charge. But also, they are a hoax that is only believed by the fake news and his stupid, “weakling” supporters. And Trump reiterated some those deranged thoughts during a press avail Wednesday morning…

Let's try to follow Trump's logic here:He says the Epstein files were "made up" by Comey, Obama, and Biden who never used them, and still won't release their copies.Meanwhile, Trump could release these made up files and incriminate those who made them up. But he won't.

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-07-16T10:19:10.934Z

Now that Trump is blowing off his own supporters, will they rollback their devotion to him as their messiah? Will they accept that he is sexual predator who was adjudicated as a rapist and been accused by a couple of dozen women of abuse? Will they at least acknowledge that he doesn’t have divine infallibility? In other words, will his insulting and disowning them release them from the spell of the cult? Stay tuned.

In a Fox News Propaganda Coup, Lara Trump Interviews Papa Trump and Never Mentions Epstein

The totalitarian dictatorships of Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un must be terribly envious of the smarmy fawning that Donald Trump enjoys from his Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News. Even Russia and North Korea would be too ashamed to manufacture the gamey media communion that Trump enjoys with his Fox friends.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump Fox News

The intertwining of Trump’s administration with Fox News is impossible to ignore. He has recruited at least 21 Fox hosts or contributors to serve in his White House staff and Cabinet, including his secretaries of defense (Pete Hegseth) and transportation (Sean Duffy). And because the revolving door swings both ways, numerous Trump associates have taken positions at Fox News, including his former press secretary (Kayleigh McEnany), his former White House Counselor (Kellyanne Conway), and several MAGA Congress members.

SEE THIS: Trump’s Nominees Are Largely Fox News Alum, Mar-a-Lago Patrons, and Billionaires

On Saturday Fox News host and First Daughter-in-Law, Lara Trump, interviewed her own father-in-lawlessness, Donald Trump. Remember, this is on a network that has the audacity to include the word “news” in its name. But anyone who expected any actual news to emanate from this interview is terminally naïve.

Among the journalistic atrocities that occurred in this episode was one wherein Lara asked what may be the easiest political question ever contrived. And true to form, Trump flubbed the answer…

LARA: What is your message to the people that are suffering, to the parents of the young girls that were killed?
TRUMP: They were warned the day before, 2 days before.

When asked the softball question of the century by his daughter-in-law on Fox News, this mofo BLAMES THE VICTIMS!?!LARA: What is your message to the people that are suffering, to the parents of the young girls that were killed?TRUMP: They were warned the day before, 2 days before.

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-07-13T09:14:02.424Z

That’s right! When asked to simply give his message to the grieving families who suffered through the Texas floods, Trump blamed the victims for not heeding the warnings. The warnings that, by the way, were never properly delivered due to Trump’s decimating of the National Weather Service.

The rest of the interview was just as bad. For instance, Lara asked Trump another probing inquiry about his legacy. Trump replied predictably by both glorifying himself and insulting his political foes, saying that he wants to be remembered as…

“A good person, but a person that saved our country. I really believed our country was going down for the fall. I don’t know if it ever could’ve come back. It was very close to the edge”

LARA TRUMP: How would you like to be remembered?TRUMP: A good person, but a person that saved our country.

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2025-07-13T01:53:56.240Z

Trump continued by citing praise from “A lot of people [who] thought my first term was phenomenal. I did.” Then Trump praised himself with a preposterous distortion of reality concerning his Cabinet that is currently at each others throats, saying that “We have really good people this time, and they get along with each other. They love each other.”

REALLY? LOVE? The battle ensuing between Trump Attorney General, Pam Bondi, and his FBI heads, Kash Patel and Dan Bongino, is burning up the current news cycle as they clash on why the infamous Jeffrey Epstein client lists haven’t been release as promised. So it’s interesting that it never came up in Lara’s interview of the one person who could release those files now.

Nevertheless, that internecine war is playing out on Trump’s failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, in a comment by Trump that is profoundly deranged. What follows are a few annotated excerpts…

“What’s going on with my ‘boys’ and, in some cases, ‘gals?’ They’re all going after Attorney General Pam Bondi, who is doing a FANTASTIC JOB! We’re on one Team, MAGA, and I don’t like what’s happening. We have a PERFECT Administration”
Trump is whining about his own supporters who are outraged by his cover up of the Epstein files. And he has a strange definition of “PERFECT” that seems to include incompetent, unqualified, infighting, and perversely adoring of Dear Leader.

“Why are we giving publicity to Files written by Obama, Crooked Hillary, Comey, Brennan, and the Losers and Criminals of the Biden Administration?”
So the Epstein files don’t exist. Except that they do exist, but Trump still won’t release them, even though they were written by Obama and his other political foes.

“Why didn’t these Radical Left Lunatics release the Epstein Files? If there was ANYTHING in there that could have hurt the MAGA Movement, why didn’t they use it?”
Why doesn’t Trump release the Epstein files? If there is NOTHING in there that could hurt him and the MAGA movement, why doesn’t he come clean and keep his promise?

“Kash Patel, and the FBI, must be focused on investigating Voter Fraud, Political Corruption, ActBlue, The Rigged and Stolen Election of 2020. […] The 2020 Election was Rigged and Stolen, and they tried to do the same thing in 2024 — That’s what [Pam Bondi] is looking into as AG.”
So Kash Patel and Pam Bondi are laser focused on political retribution, rather than fighting real crime and keeping the country safe.

“[Let’s] not waste Time and Energy on Jeffrey Epstein, somebody that nobody cares about.”
Trump has a funny way of showing that nobody cares about Jeffrey Epstein by disgorging a rambling and tediously long treatise that proves just how much he cares about and/or fears what his files might contain.

Fox News must be so proud of Lara for snagging this exclusive interview. Just imagine how MAGA would have responded if MSNBC had hired Hunter Biden and he scored an interview with his father, the President. And never mind that Lara is currently mulling a race for the North Carolina Senate. Which means that she in violation of the Fox News policy that prohibits people who are running, or considering running, for office from being employed on the network. It’s not like Fox needs to respect journalistic ethics. They never have before.

Trump’s Press Secretary Lies to Fox News About the Now Nonexistent Epstein Client List

The 2024 presidential campaign of Donald Trump was a cornucopia of conspiracy theories. Prominent among them were the allegations related to convicted sex trafficker, Jeffrey Epstein, and a reputed “client list” containing the names of people who allegedly participated in his criminal pedophilia parties.

Donald Trump and Karoline Leavitt

The mysterious list was said to include Trump, who was known to have been a longtime friend of Epstein, and had been a passenger on his private jet, the “Lolita Express.” “I’ve known Jeff for 15 years,” Trump told New York Magazine in 2002. “Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.” This is consistent with the behavior of Trump, who was found liable in a civil lawsuit for sexually abusing writer E. Jean Carroll.

The Epstein client list reentered the news cycle on Monday morning when Trump’s Propaganda Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, responded to a question from Fox News White House correspondent, Peter Doocy…

Doocy: The FBI looked at the circumstances surrounding the death of Jeffrey Epstein. According to the report, ‘this systematic review reveals no incriminating client list.’ So, what happened to the Epstein client list that the Attorney General said she had on her desk?”
Leavitt: I think if you go back and look at what the Attorney General said in that interview, which was on your network — on Fox News…
Doocy: I’ve got the quote. John Roberts said, ‘DOJ may be releasing a list of Jeffrey Epstein’s clients. Will that really happen?’ And she said, ‘it’s sitting on my desk right now to review.’ Why?
Leavitt: She was saying the entirety of all of the paperwork — all of the paper in relation to Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes – that’s what the Attorney General was referring to, and I will let her speak for that. But when it comes to the FBI and the Department of Justice, they are more than committed to ensuring that bad people are put behind bars.

DOOCY: The report says there's no Epstein client list. So what happened to the Epstein client list that the attorney general said she had on desk?LEAVITT: She was saying the entirety of all the paperwork was on her desk

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2025-07-07T17:44:09.501Z

The report that Doocy was referring to was from Axios, who published an article revealing that the current heads of Trump’s Justice Department regime – Pam Bondi (Attorney General), Kash Patel (FBI director), and Dan Bongino (FBI deputy director) – are now denying that any Epstein client list ever existed. According to Axios

“Trump’s Justice Department and FBI have concluded they have no evidence that convicted sex offender and disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein blackmailed powerful figures, kept a ‘client list’ or was murdered, according to a memo detailing the findings obtained by Axios.”

That’s a peculiar conclusion considering that Bondi had explicitly said that she had the actual list on her desk and was reviewing it. Doocy pointed that out to Leavitt, who abruptly switched into reality distortion mode to claim that Bondi was referring to “the entirety of all of the paperwork [on] Jeffrey Epstein’s crimes.” Which was clearly not what she was referring to. For reference, here is the video of Bondi on Fox News in February, and her exchange with Roberts saying…

Roberts: DoJ may be releasing the list of Jeffrey Epstein’s clients? Will that really happen?
Bondi: It’s sitting on my desk right now to review. That’s been a directive by president Trump.

Trump's AG, Pam Bondi, needs to explain how the Epstein client list was on her desk in February, and she was reviewing it "at the directive of the president," but now says that it doesn't exist.Where did it go, Pam? Did Trump, for some reason, direct you to make it disappear?

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-07-07T16:15:36.697Z

The media needs to hold both Leavitt and Bondi accountable for their statements. Leavitt needs to explain why she lied about what Bondi said about having the list on her desk. Bondi needs to explain how the list was on her desk in February, but now says that it doesn’t exist. And Trump needs to explain why his prior promises to release everything about his friend Epstein have gone unfulfilled.

Trump cannot complain that the “Deep State” is suppressing the truth. All of his own appointees are in the positions responsible for releasing all of the information. So who is he trying to protect? You get one guess.

Fox News Apologizes for ‘Mistakenly’ Cropping Trump Out of Epstein Photo

The mission of Fox News from its inception has been to unreservedly promote right-wing propaganda and the agenda of the arch-conservative Republican Party. When Donald Trump was elected, Fox News saddled up and transformed itself into Trump’s official Ministry of Disinformation. The network’s programming unabashedly reflects and defends Trump’s hostility, dishonesty, and pompous ignorance.

Donald Trump, Fox News, Fake

In pursuit of their mission, Fox News occasionally crosses a line that even they regard as over the top. When that occurs their standard reaction is to pretend it never happened and decline to comment. Any contrition, or even deference to journalistic integrity, is viewed, in the Trump mold, as weakness.

However, on Sunday Fox News aired a segment about the arrest of Jeffrey Epstein associate, Ghislaine Maxwell. The video that played during the segment included a photo of Maxwell, Epstein, and the future Melania Trump. Missing from the picture was Donald Trump himself, who was standing next to Melania. This deliberately deceptive edit could only have been done to protect Trump from being connected to Epstein and Maxwell. It was a brazenly deceitful action on the part of Fox News who know all too well that Trump and Epstein were pals.

The fraudulently edited picture was quickly exposed by online observers who were familiar with the famous photograph in its original form. This was apparently embarrassing enough that Fox News issued a rare apology:

“On Sunday, July 5, a report on Ghislaine Maxwell during FOX News Channel’s America’s News HQ mistakenly eliminated President Donald Trump from a photo alongside then Melania Knauss, Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell. We regret the error.”

There are two blatant misrepresentations in that rather disingenuous apology. First of all, there is precisely zero chance that Trump was edited out of this photo “mistakenly.” The cropping is so precise and focused on only the excision of Trump that it’s impossible to escape the conclusion that it was deliberate. And the segment ran this altered photo three times.

Secondly, Fox’s expression of regret is the least they could do – the very least. If they had any real regrets they would put them on the air with the same priority that the fake photo was given. But of course, to do that would mean giving the story about Trump’s long and unsavory friendship with Epstein more exposure. And that would go against the mission of Fox News and their Trump-fluffing hosts, editors, and executives. So, don’t hold your breath.

Reality TV Law: Trump Recruits His Impeachment Defense Team from Fox News

Donald Trump famously boasted that he “knows all the best people.” It turns out that that’s only true if what he meant by “best” was the foremost crooks, liars, and bootlickers. His administration has witnessed a parade of moral slackers and incompetents. He has fired more of his own appointees than any president in history. These are people that he lauded as “brilliant” until their termination, when he castigated them as “idiots.”

Fox News, Impeach Trump

A troubling hallmark of the Trump White House has been its reliance on staffers that Trump plucked from Fox News. They include Larry Kudlow, K.T. McFarland, Ben Carson, Sebastian Gorka, Richard Grennell, Jonathan Wachtel, Heather Nauert, and more. The truth is that Trump doesn’t really know anybody with any experience or record of accomplishment. He’s a former reality TV game show host who does nothing but golf, tweet, and watch Fox News.

So it comes as no surprise that as his impeachment looms before him, he resorts to the only source for personnel he’s familiar with to recruit his legal team. That team is already led by a frequent Fox News talking head, Jay Sekulow. And now Trump has announced that he’s filling up the roster with more of the same flunkies he’s seen over and over again on Fox.

The new members of Trump’s impeachment defense team are Ken Starr, Alan Dershowitz, Robert Ray, and Pam Bondi. All of them have been regular fixtures on Fox News as the network strives to host only those who will shamelessly suck up to the President by unflinchingly defending him and ruthlessly maligning his critics. And it’s from these televised auditions that Trump selects his closest associates and most trusted allies. This is a president who only values appearances. It is more important to him that his advocates perform well on television than that they exhibit intelligence, integrity, or fealty to facts. So let’s take a closer look at the stuffed suits Trump has hired to defend him:

Ken Starr…
…is best known as the independent counsel who couldn’t find any wrongdoing on the part of Bill Clinton, so he settled for a smarmy, albeit consensual, sex scandal as the basis for impeachment. Starr himself was later fired from his post as the president of Baylor University amid allegations of sexual misconduct on the football team. And another item on his resume is having worked for Trump pal and pedophile, Jeffrey Epstein.

Alan Dershowitz…
…is remembered as a member of the O.J. Simpson defense team. Trump likely appreciates his ability to get acquittals for people who are obviously guilty. He also must appreciate Dershowitz’s slobbering displays of affection and total faith in Trump’s purity and innocence. Dershowitz also worked for Epstein. Is this a pattern forming?

Robert Ray…
…took over the independent counsel office when Ken Starr left. Other than his frequent Trump-fluffing appearances on Fox and Friends, he isn’t particularly well known for anything significant.

Pam Bondi…
…is the former Attorney General for the state of Florida. She was caught in a campaign finance scandal wherein she accepted an illegal $25,000 donation from a Trump charity and then promptly dropped a case against his bogus Trump University that was later found to be guilty of fraud.

So the reality TV presidency is now being extended to the legal team that he’s relying on to absolve him of the high crimes and misdemeanors that led to his impeachment. It’s not much more than a cast of made-for-TV characters who will be preaching to the cameras and viewers at home, rather than to the assembled “jurors” in the Senate chamber. From Trump’s perspective this might seem like a smart move since the majority Republicans in the Senate have pretty much already declared their intentions to acquit him regardless of the evidence.

However, the American people are not going to be as forgiving as Trump’s GOP sycophants in Washington. They already believe that Trump is guilty, and a majority support his impeachment and removal from office. So it isn’t likely that Trump will find success in the melodramatic soap opera stunts deployed by this team of Fox News litigators. Team trump may have the system rigged for an acquittal, but the voters are going to hear all the evidence and make their own judgment come November.
