The walking pile of puerile perversity that we know as Donald Trump has once again demonstrated how grossly distant he is from any semblance of civil conduct. Trump’s massive yet fragile ego drives everything he does or says. And it’s particularly disturbing when he does it on foreign soil.

Just before gallivanting off Evian, France, Trump threw himself an 80th birthday bash at the White House with a show of sweaty, half-naked men wrestling in a giant cage. Just the sort of thing that exudes the dignity and honor of the presidential residence. And Trump made certain to offer his own personal expressions of honor…

The next day Trump boarded Air Force One to jet off to France for the annual G7 summit with the leaders of the world’s wealthiest, most highly industrialized democracies. And while there he comported himself in exactly the manner that you would expect of a vulgarian with no diplomatic sensibilities whatsoever. What follows are three notable examples of how Trump embarrasses America every time he opens his mouth. And representing our nation on the world stage doesn’t seem to temper his grotesquery.

TRUMP THREATENS TO NUKE SOME NUCLEAR ARMED NATIONS
“Whoever sells them [Iran] a nuclear weapon will get nuked themselves, if they sold a nuclear weapon, only a few that could do it, they would be nuked. They wouldn’t have that country long.”
REALLY? So Trump is threatening to nuke Russia, or China, or North Korea, or maybe France? Does he think that they wouldn’t defend themselves by nuking the U.S. right back? Does he think at all?

TRUMP THANKS XI JINPING AND VLADIMIR PUTIN FOR BEING NEUTRAL
“I want to thank China and President XI. I was with him, and he stayed neutral, totally neutral, and I appreciate it. And I would want to thank Vladimir Putin. He was very neutral. They could have made it much more difficult for us.”
For the record, Iran did receive military technology, drones, and missile components from China. And Russia shared intelligence that actually helped Iran to locate and kill U.S. forces. Both countries propped up the Iranian economy by purchasing discounted Iranian oil. So thanks, from your fanboy Trump.

TRUMP DISPARAGES AMERICAN DEMOCRACY
“Nobody plays rougher than the United States. Look, our elections are totally rigged. We have rigged elections.”
So Trump currently presides over an all-Republican government with GOP majorities in Congress and the Supreme Court, but still chastises the U.S. for having “rigged” elections? Maybe he’s right. If our elections were free and fair there would be more political diversity. The Electoral College and the Senate representation is anything but fair.

Also, Trump complains about his buddy, former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro, being convicted for plotting a military coup after the 2022 election. But Trump ignores his own persecution of Democrats like Gov. Gavin Newsom, Senators Mark Kelly, Elissa Slotkin, Adam Schiff, etc., New York Attorney General Letitia James, former FBI Director James Comey, and many more.

Also notable is a Trump post at 2:50am on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social. He endorsed MAGA GOP Rep. Mike Collins for the Senate in Georgia, but had little to say about Collins. However, he calls his Democratic opponent, current Sen. Jon Osoff, “Os(jerk)off.” That’s Trump always staying classy and setting a standard for America’s kids.

On Saturday Trump posted a comment on his dedicated propaganda platform, Truth Social, declaring that an alleged “peace” deal would be signed Sunday (today). On Sunday morning Trump’s Secretary of War Crimes, Pete Hegseth, was interviewed on CBS News’ Face the Nation by Margaret Brennan. During their discussion Hegseth admitted something that totally contradicts what Trump has been lying about for years with regard to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) negotiated by the Obama administration to halt Iran’s nuclear aspirations.

Hegseth: Obama begged Iran for a deal. We bombed Iran, and then put in a blockade…The document says Iran will never have a nuclear weapon, won’t seek one, won’t buy one, won’t have one.
Brennan: JCPOA said that too.
Hegseth: But they didn’t have the threat of military force the way that we do…and that’s why they’re at the table. The huge difference is we did this from a position of strength. Trump led with military might.

So Hegseth is actually conceding that the Obama deal secured Iran’s commitment to cease all of their nuclear weapons programs. That’s something that Trump has repeatedly said wasn’t true. Never mind that the very first paragraph of the JCPOA says that “Iran reaffirms that under no circumstances will Iran ever seek, develop or acquire any nuclear weapons.”

What Hegseth describes as the difference between the confirmed Obama deal and Trump’s more ambiguous and non-binding “Memorandum of Understanding” (MOU) is that Trump’s deal was obtained by military force and hyperbolic threats that TACO Trump kept reneging on. By contrast, Obama’s deal was secured through diplomacy, carried out by experienced negotiators, and verified by the independent International Atomic Energy Agency. None of which Trump’s team accomplished.

Hegseth implies that Trump’s hawkish warmongering is superior to Obama’s statesmanship, despite the fact that Obama got tangible results without spending billions of dollars and slaughtering thousands of innocent people. However, there are still no results whatsoever from Trump’s dealings after four months of a war that Trump said wouldn’t take more than a few days.

Meanwhile, Trump’s Homeland Security secretary, Markwayne Mullin, was also on the Sunday morning media circuit, On Fox News he praised Trump because “On his birthday he’s still working.” Then he specifies what Trump is “working” on. Was it the Iran deal that was supposed to be signed imminently? Or lowering costs for gas, groceries, housing, or healthcare? Or anything else that the American people actually want or need?

Nope. It’s his tacky and corrupt UFC birthday bash on the White House lawn. Because Trump’s priorities are squarely focused on what is most important – To him, and him alone!

UPDATE: According to Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in a comment posted on Twitter/X, “The Peace Deal between the United States of America and Islamic Republic of Iran has been REACHED.” and that “The official signing ceremony will be on Friday, 19 June.” So there is no signing Sunday as Trump said, and a lot can change in a week. So nobody should be confident that this will pan out.

Also, while Trump posted a giddy, celebratory confirmation on Truth Social, there is no confirmation from Iran, and no details on the terms of the deal or whether it is a binding agreement or just an MOU. Also, nothing indicates that the deal contains anything that wasn’t already in the Obama deal. But reports say that Iran will get billions more from Trump, including $300 billion in recovery/reconstruction funds, and have less stringent restrictions and monitoring.

America is now in the fourth month of the war with Iran that Donald Trump said would only last a few days. Instead what Trump has called a “little excursion” has cost billions of dollars, thousands of lives, and the reputation of the United States as a diplomatic superpower.

Throughout the conflict Trump has made repeated promises that a deal to end the war was imminent. Those promises were quickly broken when Iran disputed that any agreement was made, followed by Trump issuing more threats that amounted to war crimes and blaming the breakdown on everything from Iran’s “dishonorable” leaders, to “radical lunatic” Democrats, to former Presidents Joe Biden and Barack Obama.

On Saturday morning Trump took time off from planning his 80th birthday bash on the lawn of the White House with a bunch of sweaty, half naked UFC fighters, brutally beating each other, to post a comment that put his derangement on display on his dedicated propaganda platform, Truth Social, about yet another alleged “peace” deal with Iran. His comment was typically littered with lies, self-exaltations, and derogatory remarks about his political foes. What follows are a few choice excerpts with annotations. Trump began by saying that…

“Barack Hussein Obama’s Deal with Iran, the JCPOA, was an easy, beautiful, smooth road to a Nuclear Weapon.”
Actually, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) states explicitly in the first paragraph that “Iran reaffirms that under no circumstances will Iran ever seek, develop or acquire any nuclear weapons.” And that prohibition would be monitored and enforced by the independent International Atomic Energy Agency.

“My Agreement with Iran is the exact opposite.”
First of all, there is no agreement at this time. What Trump is talking about is just a “Memorandum of Understanding” that proposes a 60 day ceasefire to continue talks in the future. It is not in any way binding and has no independent verification. Nevertheless, Trump added the preposterous claim that “they [Iran] no longer want a Nuclear Weapon.” Yeah, right.

“The Deal is scheduled to get signed tomorrow.”
Of course it is. And since we have Trump’s word on this we can rest assured that it is likely not going to happen. But even if it does, it is still only a non-binding document of future intent. Still, Trump bragged that “after it is signed, the Hormuz Strait is OPEN TO ALL>” Well, it was open to all before he started this war. So he’s admitting that there has been nothing gained.

“Unlike Obama’s Hundreds of Billions of Dollars in payments to them…no money will exchange hands.”
Once again, Trump is lying about Obama’s plan making payments of “Hundreds of Billions of Dollars” to Iran. Iran got less than $2 billion. And that was just the unfreezing of Iran’s own money that was being held in foreign banks. More importantly, Trump is lying about his own plan that calls for unfreezing $24 billion in Iranian funds, as well as an additional “$300 billion in reconstruction money.”

“[W]e have the ultimate alternative, hopefully never to be used again!”
This is how Trump closed his comment. It sounds very much like a threat to use nuclear weapons against Iran. Which is a lousy way to advance his alleged signing of a peace deal.

Usually Trump says that whatever bullshit promise he is making will be fulfilled in two weeks. So it’s good news of sorts that we will only have to wait until tomorrow to see if he welches on this one. But even if there is a signing of some paper promise, Trump will still have 60 days to screw it up. Which is way more than he needs.

YEAH, SURE! Trump Tells Fox News He Spoke with Iranian Officials Who Love the Great Press They Get

The increasingly bad news for Donald Trump continues to spill out as his reckless and illegal war with Iran spirals out of control. In the past 24 hours Trump has whined that Iran isn’t capitulating quickly enough, but also that he has secured a complete peace agreement with Iran wherein the U.S. is getting everything it wants. They can’t both be true.

Even worse, the dementia of Trump is springing up with ever more frequency with each passing day. In addition to his routine dissemination of flagrant falsehoods and infantile insults, Trump is also having imaginary conversations that he relays to his official Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News. And Fox dutifully reports whatever Trump says without question.

On Thursday morning Trump did another one of his pajama phone-in interviews with the “Curvy Couch” potatoes of Fox and Friends. during their discussion Trump revealed some juicy details of an alleged phone call he had with unnamed Iranian “officials.” Trump said that…

“Behind the scenes I will tell you – they won’t even dispute it, although they probably would because it makes sense – They’re very good at publicity, but they’re not good at fighting. They can’t believe the press they get. They can’t even believe it. And they told me. They said, ‘It’s amazing how well we’re doing in the papers.’ We’re not doing so well. They’re negotiating with us to make a deal.”

Virtually every conversation that Trump claims to have had with Iran was promptly disputed shortly after Trump made the claim. This one is unlikely to be any different. Why would Iran ever consider bragging to Trump about getting good press coverage? Where exactly is that coverage? And notice that Trump says in the same breath that Iran would not dispute it, and also that they would. Which point is trying to make?

Furthermore, Trump praises Iran’s PR prowess, but disparages their fighting ability. Even though Iran has held off Trump’s assault for four months now, when he said that this war would be over in a matter of days. And while the war is broadly opposed by huge majorities of the American people – dragging down Trump’s approval ratings and the Republican Party’s electoral prospects – Trump can’t seem to figure out any way to get out of it.

Earlier Trump claimed to have “dropped $250 million of bombs” on Iran (a number that he plucked from his demented brain that is fixated on his U.S. birthday bash). So while the American people are struggling financially, Trump is wasting hundreds of millions of dollars for no benefit. he could have built another ballroom for that.

Trump also said that Iranians had called him in the White House Situation Room last night asking him to stop the bombing (that hadn’t started yet). However, cell phones are strictly prohibited in the Situation Room. So that was another imaginary conversation.

Closing up the interview, Fox News host Ainsley Earhardt told Trump not to worry because “Our viewers are watching Fox. So they see this coverage. They’re not reading the New York Times “ Which is an unusually honest appraisal of the Fox News audience that is deeply indoctrinated into the Trump cult and oblivious to any other source of information. Especially information that is truthful and aligned with reality. It was nice of Earhardt to admit that.
