It didn’t take Donald Trump long, following his disgusting and undignified UFC circus at the White House, to return to his racist roots where he can disparage his perceived political enemies with his typically infantile insults.

The UFC affair lived down to expectations as the roster of sweaty, half-naked men wrestling in a specially built ring on the white House lawn. The event was sponsored by longtime Trump friend and donor, Dana White, whose UFC enterprise Trump has invested in. But don’t believe the hype that this is a “sport” that the American people enjoy. Most of them opposed it staining the dignity of the White House.

The morning after the Hayseed Hell Night, Trump was back on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, dispensing his words of hate and division. He spends as much time there as he does golfing, watching Fox News, and otherwise avoiding the actual duties of a president.

Bright and early Monday morning Trump posted a comment that was unrelated to anything that was in the current news cycle, It was just an expression of his hateful, un-American feelings and distaste for anyone who isn’t part of his white nationalist MAGA movement. He whined that…

“Sadly, if you import people from Third World Countries, you quickly become a Third World Country — And there’s not a thing you can do about it.”

Perhaps Trump was just upset that he had to travel to France for a meeting with the G7 leaders that he regards as “dirty ferraners.” Which triggered his hate sensors to lash out at America’s immigrants.

What Trump fails to recognize is that America is, and always has been, a nation of immigrants. Many of whom came from third world countries. They include two of his three wives. What’s more, many of America’s biggest, most successful companies, were founded by, or are currently run by, foreign-born executives. The following list is just a few of them. And that’s just the CEOs, but not the presidents, vice-presidents and other top level executives.

Immigrants have been among the most productive contributors to what makes America great. And that includes those with means and education, as well as the working class who make America’s economic engine hum.

What Trump is afraid of isn’t that America will become a third world country. It’s that America will become a diverse country that celebrates and benefits from its diversity. Which, in fact, it already has. And that really pisses off Trump and the bigots who make up his confederacy of haters who want to preserve America’s whiteness.

Consequently, Trump resorts to posting idiotic comments like the one above that serve only to divide fellow citizens and foster mindless contempt for good people who come here to make a better life for their families. Which is how you really make America great again.

Sadly, if you import racists like Trump, you quickly become a racist country. But there’s plenty you can do about it. You just have to be determined to shut them down and allow our better selves to prevail.
