Trump’s White Trashing of the White House with His Tacky UFSemen Fest Even Disgusts Republicans

For someone who was born into a wealthy family, Donald Trump has none of the attributes of a typical snobby elitist the high society tastes of his upper crusty peers. To the contrary, Trump has always exhibited the sleaziest classlessness of those he regards as uncultured peasants and revels in looking down upon.

Donald Trump, Biggest Loser

Trump has presided over the bedazzling of the White House with gaudy thrift store filigree. He has made an obsession of “renovating” public spaces and symbols by gilding them in a manner that would embarrass the poshest royalty. And he has done much of that with tributes to himself, adding his own name and/or pumpkinized likeness. Although not always successfully.

SEE THIS: Trump Freaks Out Over Kennedy Center Ruling – Gets Fluffed by Maria Bartiromo on Fox News

As it turns out, Trump’s trashy tastes are not shared by the vast majority of the American people. The findings of new polls by Reuters/Ipsos and Fox News reveal just how far Trump is from having any connection to the people that he purports to represent. The polls sought the public’s opinions as to the appropriateness of Trump’s UFC cage matches that he is staging at the White House. As reported by CNN’s Harry Enten…

“Americans don’t find this thing to be appropriate. Take a look. Just 16% overall. And among Republicans – even among Republicans, you know the diehard base Republican Party with Trump through thick and thin – just 31% of Republicans.” […]

“Americans just don’t think that Donald Trump and this White House is in touch with them. Because they put on stuff like that that Americans don’t really care about. Take a look here. [Those who] say the White House is out of touch with people like you, 60% overall. We’re talking about 3 in 5 Americans. And look among Independents. 80% of Independents say that the White House is out of touch with people like them.”

Harry Enten: Just 16% of Americans say UFC White House fights are appropriate. Even among Republicans, just 31%. 28% of Americans believe in telepathy.

FactPost (@factpostnews.bsky.social) 2026-06-12T17:47:54.769165704Z

Those are some seriously abysmal stats. Particularly those among Trump’s own party. No wonder his approval ratings are in the toilet. The UFC project is something that has consumed much of Trump’s time. And even though the UFC says they are paying for the production, It will cost taxpayers millions of dollars in security, traffic, sanitation, and municipal costs. It glorifies violence. And it is a project that will enrich a Trump friend, and that even the Trump family will personally profit from.

Taking this together with the billion dollars he’s spending on his vanity ballroom, and the millions that will be sunk into the Reflecting Pool, and what he has wasted on the Kennedy Center, and his paving over of the White House Rose Garden, and his proposed D.C. arch, and you have an idea of what Trump’s real interests are. They are not the interests of the American people.

Meanwhile, Trump continues to wage a reckless and illegal war against Iran. He is neglecting the financial burdens of the nation for necessities such as groceries, gas, housing, and healthcare. He is seeking to slash benefits for Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. He is attacking citizens for exercising their First Amendment rights. He is persecuting immigrants who are seeking a better life for their families. He is embracing foreign adversaries and alienating allies. And he is suppressing the free press.

The Trump agenda is a perfect storm of callous disregard for the welfare the nation and its people. But perhaps the worst part of all of this is that Trump knows precisely how much the people despise him and his policies. We know he watches CNN and the reports by Harry Enten, because he frequently whines about them. So he likely knows about this reports as well. He just doesn’t care.

Maybe he will care more after the midterm elections when he and his MAGA party feel the wrath of the American people.

YEAH, SURE! Trump Tells Fox News He Spoke with Iranian Officials Who Love the Great Press They Get

The increasingly bad news for Donald Trump continues to spill out as his reckless and illegal war with Iran spirals out of control. In the past 24 hours Trump has whined that Iran isn’t capitulating quickly enough, but also that he has secured a complete peace agreement with Iran wherein the U.S. is getting everything it wants. They can’t both be true.

Donald Trump, Insane, Straight Jacket

Even worse, the dementia of Trump is springing up with ever more frequency with each passing day. In addition to his routine dissemination of flagrant falsehoods and infantile insults, Trump is also having imaginary conversations that he relays to his official Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News. And Fox dutifully reports whatever Trump says without question.

SEE THIS: Trump Humiliates Himself in a Hysterical Interview By His Daughter-in-Law Lara Trump on Fox News

On Thursday morning Trump did another one of his pajama phone-in interviews with the “Curvy Couch” potatoes of Fox and Friends. during their discussion Trump revealed some juicy details of an alleged phone call he had with unnamed Iranian “officials.” Trump said that…

“Behind the scenes I will tell you – they won’t even dispute it, although they probably would because it makes sense – They’re very good at publicity, but they’re not good at fighting. They can’t believe the press they get. They can’t even believe it. And they told me. They said, ‘It’s amazing how well we’re doing in the papers.’ We’re not doing so well. They’re negotiating with us to make a deal.”

Trump: "Behind the scenes I must tell you Iran can't believe the press they get. They can't even believe it. And they told me. They said, 'It's amazing how well we're doing in the papers. We're not doing so well–' They're negotiating with us to make a deal."

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2026-06-11T13:03:32.090Z

Virtually every conversation that Trump claims to have had with Iran was promptly disputed shortly after Trump made the claim. This one is unlikely to be any different. Why would Iran ever consider bragging to Trump about getting good press coverage? Where exactly is that coverage? And notice that Trump says in the same breath that Iran would not dispute it, and also that they would. Which point is trying to make?

Furthermore, Trump praises Iran’s PR prowess, but disparages their fighting ability. Even though Iran has held off Trump’s assault for four months now, when he said that this war would be over in a matter of days. And while the war is broadly opposed by huge majorities of the American people – dragging down Trump’s approval ratings and the Republican Party’s electoral prospects – Trump can’t seem to figure out any way to get out of it.

Earlier Trump claimed to have “dropped $250 million of bombs” on Iran (a number that he plucked from his demented brain that is fixated on his U.S. birthday bash). So while the American people are struggling financially, Trump is wasting hundreds of millions of dollars for no benefit. he could have built another ballroom for that.

Trump also said that Iranians had called him in the White House Situation Room last night asking him to stop the bombing (that hadn’t started yet). However, cell phones are strictly prohibited in the Situation Room. So that was another imaginary conversation.

Closing up the interview, Fox News host Ainsley Earhardt told Trump not to worry because “Our viewers are watching Fox. So they see this coverage. They’re not reading the New York Times “ Which is an unusually honest appraisal of the Fox News audience that is deeply indoctrinated into the Trump cult and oblivious to any other source of information. Especially information that is truthful and aligned with reality. It was nice of Earhardt to admit that.

Trump Ditches Plans to Spin Off His Failing Truth Social Scam Into a Separate Failing Scam

The latest brilliant business move by Donald Trump might just eclipse his infamous flops of the past wherein he bankrupted four casinos, shuttered his phony “university” and discontinued dozens of hokey side hustles (water, ties, steaks, magazines, games, watches, cologne, crypto, etc.) intended to separate his gullible flock from their finances.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump Circling the Drain

Five years ago Trump launched his Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) that was the parent corporation for his Twitter ripoff, Truth Social. But since then TMTG has diversified it into a variety of totally unrelated – and equally unsuccessful – businesses such as streaming video, cryptocurrency, MAGA-centric mutual funds, and even nuclear fusion. And because they were all affiliated with Trump, they have all performed with the hallmark ineptitude that is emblematic of the Trump name.

Now Trump has announced that his primary TMTG operation, Truth Social, has suffered a staggering setback. He had previously announced that it was going to be spun off into a separate, standalone company. But now those plans have been scuttled….

“Trump Media and Technology and TAE Technologies announced on Wednesday they have abandoned plans to spin off Truth Social and certain other media assets into a separate publicly listed company. The companies did not disclose reasons for canceling the proposed spinoff of the conservative-focused social media platform.”

There really wasn’t any need to disclose the reasons for this annulment. It’s obvious that Truth Social is too weak to survive on its own. It has never made a profit. It has abysmal user statistics. It has been mired in criminality and other scandals. TMTG stock, with Truth Social as its core component, has suffered an 90% decline from its high mark. Who would want to invest in that?

What’s more, there is new evidence every day that Trump enterprises are nothing more than con games intended to enrich him and his mob family. Most recently, Reuters reported that…

“[The] Trump family has made $2.3 billion from crypto with little-to-no downside risk, while other investors have lost $2.3 billion, including paper losses, as of the end of April.”

That’s not exactly a track record that will encourage investor participation. Instead, it illustrates how Trump exploits his cult disciples for his own financial benefit, and provides pathways for conflicted parties (corporations and foreign operatives) to funnel cash (aka bribes) to him. And that’s pretty much been his modus operandi from the start. For instance…

YOU’RE FIRED: Trump Media’s CEO, Devin Nunes, Gets Booted From the Failing Truth Social Company
Devin Nunes, who had no relevant business experience whatsoever, proceeded to run the sham operation into the ground. He packaged it with a variety of unrelated undertakings, such as cryptocurrency, mutual funds, gambling, and even an attempt at AI that seemed to go rogue.

Trump’s Cratering Truth Social Stock Reflects the Catastrophe of Everything That Trump Does
Trump Media and Technology Group Corp. plans to issue a new cryptocurrency, which will be distributed among its shareholders. […] The coins won’t represent ownership of DJT shares, and may not be transferable or exchanged for cash.

Trump’s Scammy Media Stock, and Truth Social Parent, Completes a Classic Pump and Dump
The merger of the Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG) with TAE Technologies, a nuclear fusion startup. TAE’s energy products are at present speculative and they have no facilities generating any power resources. Nevertheless, the news caused TMTG’s stock to surge 33%, but two weeks later reversed course back to around $12.80. So anyone who jumped in on the news is already suffering a 25% loss.

Trump Media (Truth Social) Falls to Its Lowest Point Ever – And So Does Donald Trump
Reflecting the animus that Trump inspires in America, his scam business venture, Trump Media and Technology Group, is suffering its worst week since it went public a year and a half ago. It has lost a whopping 80% of its asset value since then.

The Trump Media and Technology Group (Truth Social) Scam Reflects His Fondness for Fraud
During an interview on CNBC, Trump complained that he has been treated “very badly” by banks that he alleged were discriminating against him. Of course that might be because of the 34 felony convictions he has for defrauding banks. Not to mention a civil lawsuit finding of liability that cost him about half a billion dollars.

Trump Crime Syndicate: Investors Arrested for Insider Trading in Failing Truth Social Scam
Trump’s associates in his truthless, anti-social media venture were arrested and charged with insider trading. Reports indicate that “the three individuals together made more than $22 million in illegal profits.”

Truth Social Disease: Ads on Trump’s Twitter Ripoff are Mostly Scams and Trump-Fluffing Merch

WHUT? MAGA Mike Johnson Says that No Proof of Election Rigging is Proof the Election Was Rigged

Donald Trump and his MAGA Republican flunkies are totally discombobulated by the fact that Democrats are leading in the elections in California. They simply cannot understand how Democratic candidates could be favored in the most Democratic state in America. Someone call the Waaahmbulance.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Congress, Mike Johnson

The GOP and their Dear Leader think that if a Republican who is a former Fox News hack, and another who is a reality TV goofball, are not winning, there must be something terribly wrong. It’s become a mantra that the MAGA-tists chant every time an election doesn’t go their way. And they go back and forth between seething outrage and flaccid apathy.

SEE THIS: MAGA Mike Johnson Pitifully Tries to Cover For Trump Saying ‘I Don’t Care About the Midterms’

Leading the charge to declare all election outcomes phony if Republicans don’t win, is the GOP Speaker of the House of Representatives, MAGA Mike Johnson. And he is employing some novel arguments to make his case. In an exchange with CNN’s congressional correspondent, Manu Raju, Johnson shamelessly floated the theory that the absence of factual evidence of wrongdoing is proof that wrongdoing took place. When asked about the whether he though the California electins were rigged, Johnson whined that…

Johnson: I’m not saying it’s rigged. I’m saying it stinks to high heaven, and everybody knows that. Let’s remove the appearance of impropriety. What a concept. Let’s have votes on an election the day of the election. That’s what many states are able to do. I think California is playing around with us.
Raju: But what evidence is there to prove that the election was rigged?
Johnson: Some of these efforts are so diabolical and so far upstream, it is impossible to prove. But I think everybody knows instinctively something is wrong here, and that’s a concern. We need people to believe in the integrity of our election system.

Let’s unravel Johnson’s flaming bullshittery. To begin with he denies saying that the election is rigged, only that it stinks. What exactly is his point? Then he complains that the election results aren’t finalized on election day. Which is common in states that have mail-in voting, including Johnson’s state of Louisiana.

More to the point, Johnson’s contention that Democrats have engaged in something so “diabolical” that “it is impossible to prove” any wrongdoing. And he claims that the absence of such proof is therefore proof in itself of wrongdoing. He thinks that Democrats are so good at covering up their schemes that the schemes must have taken place. By that logic, Johnson is actually the Zodiac Killer. And the proof is that there isn’t any evidence of it. So he must have been really good at covering it up.

Johnson went on to claim that “everybody knows instinctively something is wrong.” And as an experienced lawmaker and leader of his party, Johnson knows that “instinct” is the criteria on which legal rulings are based. Who needs facts or evidence when you have strong feelings? Did the defendant murder his wife? I feel like he did, so send him to the gas chamber. Case closed.

That’s the level of intellectual scrutiny that Republicans give to election integrity. It’s a bar that was placed extraordinarily low by their Dear Leader Trump. And Johnson is very concerned about people believing in the integrity of our election system. Which is why he and Trump do nothing but trash the system every chance they get, without even a shred of evidence. That will instill the confidence he claims to crave, right? Right? RIGHT?

Clearly the Trump regime couldn’t care less about election integrity. To the contrary they are focused solely on creating skepticism and division. They know they can’t win elections on the merits of their policies and competence. So their only remaining option is make as many people as possible doubt that the elections are legitimate.

Hence their fixation on declaring that is everything rigged, despite never providing any proof. And now that absence of proof, in their minds, is its own proof that it’s all rigged. What a brilliantly asinine strategy to undermine democracy.

REALLY? Trump’s Source for ‘Tremendous Evidence’ of Election Fraud is MyPillow Kook Mike Lindell?

Americans have lately been troubled by the frequent cognitive glitches of the current occupant of the White House, Donald Trump. But never let it be said that Trump is incapable of focusing on a subject that he deems important when he wants to. Sometimes for weeks, months, years, longer than anyone else would consider reasonable or sane. Trump’s capacity to concentrate intensely on nonsense that advances his delusions is unparalleled in modern times.

Donald Trump, Mike Lindell, MyPillow

On Sunday Trump was interviewed by Kristen Welker on Meet the Press. He was profoundly unhinged throughout the interview. But he was particularly consumed by his years-long obsession with imaginary election fraud in 2020, and with equally ridiculous claims regarding California’s recent primary. Welker repeatedly challenged Trump, saying that he had never presented any supporting evidence of his wild allegations. Which caused Trump to wig out and shuffle off in huff.

SEE THIS: Big Baby Trump Flees Like a Frightened Fowl From Scary Meet the Press Host Kristen Welker

Then, on Sunday night, Trump dropped a post on his dedicated propaganda platform, Truth Social, attempting to shore up his baseless claims that “there is tremendous evidence” of election fraud. But his “evidence” was a re-post by Patrick Colbeck, CEO of Lindell Management, a company created by MyPillow conspiracy crackpot, Mike Lindell, to spread election fraud lies.

Colbeck linked to “evidence” compiled by Lindell’s widely debunked “Election Crime Bureau” website. He claimed that “We have over 800 findings in support of President Trump of which over 550 are ESTABLISHED FACT.” None of which were actually factual, and certainly not established. His “findings” were just rumors and fabrications that were proven false every time they were reviewed by independent analysts or contested in court.

In fact, Lindell was actually found liable for defamation in a lawsuit brought by the election technology company, Smartmatic. He was also found liable for defamation in a separate lawsuit brought by an employee of Dominion Voting Systems. And if that weren’t enough, he was investigated by the FBI for sending misleading emails that sought to acquire sensitive, private data from election officials.

Lindell’s operation tried unsuccessfully to push his fraud conspiracy theories for years with a circus-like “Cyber Symposium” and bold declarations that he had incontrovertible proof of fraud, none of which ever panned out. What’s more, there were more than 60 civil cases that alleged election fraud in the years following Trump’s humiliating loss in 2020. Not a single one of them found any shred of fraud.

However, none of that has deterred Trump from continuing to push his “Big Lie” that the election was “rigged and stolen” from him. And he’s still clinging to the preposterous fables crafted by Lindell. Trump’s stubbornness even resulted in his posting a shocking confession about the state of elections in America today. He proudly declares that…

“I believe we have the Most Dishonest Elections of any Country, anywhere in the World!”

USA. USA. USA. WE’RE NUMBER ONE! Even more dishonest than Russia, or Hungary, or North Korea. They’re all losers compared to what Trump has done to America.

This is quite a confession from the current president of the United States who won two elections. It sounds like he's bragging, and signaling his intentions for future elections.TRUMP: "I'm the Most Dishonest by far, and better at being Dishonest at levels never seen before."

Big Baby Trump Flees Like a Frightened Fowl From Scary Meet the Press Host Kristen Welker

Donald Trump has worked hard for years to craft an image of himself as a pillar of strength and a manly man. Of course, only desperately insecure man-babies feel compelled to do that. And Trump fits that profile perfectly.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Trump Fear

For as long as he has been in the public eye, Trump has played the victim and reacted with abject cowardice to any perceived threat. What’s truly amazing is that anyone views him as anything other than the whiny toddler that he personifies.

SEE THIS: Victim-in-Chief: Trump is the most Cowardly, Whining, Crybaby to Ever Be President

On Sunday morning Trump proved once again that he doesn’t have the courage to stand up to even the most mild dissent. He was interviewed by Kristen Welker on Meet the Press (video below), and he spent the whole time complaining, interrupting, insulting, and of course, lying. The interview was a monumental waste of time for anyone seeking something newsworthy. But for those who just wanted some more proof of how utterly unfit Trump is for any office of leadership, it was a bonanza of examples of his mental impairment and emotional instability.

Leading off, Welker brought up Trump’s “weaponization” slush fund to reward violent January 6th StormTrumpers. There was such broad agreement that the fund was illegal and immoral that Trump’s acting Attorney Genuflect, Todd Blanche, had already told Congress that he wouldn’t be implementing it. However, his reputation is so tainted that nobody believes him. So Welker asked Trump…

“Are you backing off the fund completely as your acting Attorney General Todd Blanche has said, or are you looking for another avenue to revive the fund?”

Trump dodged the question to “explain” the purpose of the slush fund, which no one asked him. He said that it was compensation for people who had been “hurt so badly by the radical left lunatics that worked for the Biden administration.” He eventually got around to an answer saying “Personally, I think the weaponization fund is a great idea…you have to get it approved.” Then he rambled some more, asserting that he wouldn’t rule out giving taxpayer money to convicted rioters who assaulted police officers. Just what taxpayers want.

Then Trump assumed the role of the rioters’ defense lawyer, arguing that they had been framed by “dirty cops” and FBI agents. When Welker replied that there is no evidence of that, Trump told her to “look at the tapes,” Which everyone has done many times and found nothing that exonerated the rioters. Welker noted that many of the rioters had pleaded guilty. So Trump claimed that they were bullied into doing so. Again, it was a claim with no evidence. So next Trump began insulting Welker personally. He said that…

“People like you, the fake dirty press – people like stupid Biden, he’s not smart enough to know what’s going on – they destroyed people. They sent people to jail who did nothing wrong.”

Welker again noted that there was no evidence of that. To which Trump delusionally replied “There’s a lot of evidence. Listen to me. There’s tremendous evidence. There’s nothing but evidence.” Welker then noted that “It’s not been presented in a court of a law.” In fact, every case associated with January 6th rioters produced nothing but confirmation of their guilt. Not a single one was acquitted or any conviction overturned on appeal. Pitifully lost, Trump then jumped to a completely different subject, saying that…

“The election was rigged. It was a dirty election. And it’s happening again right now in California…They’re cheating on the election.”

Again Welker asks him if he has any evidence of that. His reply is that “All you have to do is look.” At what? Trump’s answer, of course, isn’t evidence. He continued with a childish retort saying that “You’re crooked, and Meet the Press is crooked, and so is ABC, and CBS, and CNN.” And just to make sure that she understood, he added that “You’re either crooked, or you’re stupid.”

Trump then cut off the interview saying “Sorry. Let’s call it quits because I’ve had enough. Thank you, darling. Have a good time.” That was Trump’s way of fleeing danger, because he saw that Welker wasn’t going to allow him to get away with his standard bullshittery. And he threw in a bit of misogynistic hate-speech for fun.

Anyone watching this with an open mind can see that Trump is scared and desperate to find a way out of this torment. But the only thing he can think of is to scamper off to the safety that his staff of devoted cult disciples provides.

The entire morning achieved nothing for Trump. But it did give his critics more proof of his acutely damaged psyche. The best that Trump can take away from this is that at least he didn’t fall asleep during the interview.

RURAL REVOLT: Will Trump Lash Out At the ‘Radical Left Lunatic’ Rural Voters Who Now Hate Him?

Donald Trump once promised that if he was elected there would be so much winning that people would get sick of it. Well, he was partly right. He got elected, and people are sick. However, winning hasn’t been the catastrophe that he predicted.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump Walking the Plank

Trump’s win/loss record is not exactly something to brag about. His economy is in the toilet. The Republican majority Congress just voted to rein in his war powers authority. His “weaponization” slush fund was ruled illegal in federal court. So were his inflationary tariffs. And his reckless and illegal war against Iran continues despite his relentless and impotent declarations of victory.

SEE THIS: BREAKING? The Iran War Will End in ‘Days’ According to Trump, Who Has Been Saying that for Months

No wonder Trump is also losing badly in polls measuring the public’s approval of him, or more accurately, disapproval. He has been hitting new lows with nearly every new survey. And it isn’t just his repulsive persona that is dragging him down. His policies are broadly unpopular, including economics, foreign affairs, immigration, and his multitude of ego-boosting projects to pay tribute to himself.

On Friday, CNN’s data analyst, Harry Enten, revealed the results of a new poll that specifically surveyed rural voters. That’s a demographic that has been among the most reliable group of supporters for Trump. But that is clearly not the case anymore. According To Enten…

“There seems to be a rural revolt going on in this country against Donald Trump. According to Fox News he was easily winning them back in October 2024 versus Kamala Harris. Eighteen points ahead.

“But look at where he is now. Down there, underwater, underneath the cornfields. He’s now 14 points underwater. That’s an over 30 point switcheroo against the president of the United States.[…] He is 19 points underwater with rural voters on inflation. That is an over 50 point switcheroo. Rural voters, like the rest of the country, turning against Trump on the key issue that got him elected to a second term back in 2024.”.

That’s right! According to a poll by Trump’s official Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News, America’s rural voters are – as Enten notes – “like the rest of the country, turning against Trump.” And with good reason. Trump’s war has resulted in increases in costs for vital necessities in rural communities, including gas and other energy, fertilizer, groceries, and healthcare which is suffering from the closure of many rural hospitals and clinics.

Meanwhile, Trump’s wars and incompetent diplomacy has alienated America’s trading partners and resulted in international markets for American agricultural products to collapse. Here at home, the rise in prices for those products has depressed domestic shoppers. In short, Trump is presiding over a perfect storm of economic adversity that touches the lives of every American. And those in rural communities are no exception.

Consequently, Trump’s political tribulations are only just beginning. He knows that he is facing an epic season of disaster in the upcoming midterm elections. So he’s pulling out all the stops to advance his crackpot conspiracy theories of voting fraud. And, as usual, he’s providing no evidence whatsoever.

However, unlike his previous episodes of derangement, Trump cannot blame it all on what he calls “radical, left, lunatics.” That’s a label he’ll have a hard time sticking onto red state farmers and ranchers. But never underestimate Trump’s ability to swerve into hypocrisy and blind, rage-filled hate and retribution. He has already lost support among Latino voters, and youth, and even non-MAGA Republicans. So rural voters could very well be the next target of his wrath. Anyone who crosses him is vulnerable. No one is immune.

Stephen Colbert’s Audience Flocks to Jimmy Kimmel, While CBS Suffers a Massive Ratings Decline

The first full week of ratings for network late night television since “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” went dark have been released. And it doesn’t paint a pretty picture for the Donald Trump bootlickers at Paramount/CBS who canceled their number one program starring America’s favorite late night host.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Stephen Colbert and Donald Trump baby

The loss of Colbert’s wit, insight, and compassion, is already being felt by millions of his fans. His final show on May 22 was his most-watched weeknight episode of all time. He raised millions of dollars for charity by auctioning off parts of his set and other memorabilia from the show. And he stirred the wrath of Donald Trump who had a severe flare up of his OCD (Obsessive Colbert Disorder).

SEE THIS: WHAT 1ST AMENDMENT? Snowflake Trump Takes Credit For Canceling “DUMB” (With a B) Stephen Colbert

Now audiences are beginning to settle into a new late night routine. And with Colbert moving on to what will likely be an even bigger, better platform for his humor and punditry, there was some interest as to where his network viewers would end up. Now we know. As reported by Latenighter

“According to Nielsen Live+3 ratings data for the week of May 24, 2026, Jimmy Kimmel Live! averaged 2.43 million total viewers (+35 percent over the week prior) and 252,000 adults 18–49 (+31 percent) across three original episodes and two repeats. The Tonight Show, meanwhile, averaged 1.41 million total viewers (+6 percent) and 271,000 adults 18–49 (+3 percent).” […]

“On CBS, Comics Unleashed completed its first full week in Stephen Colbert’s former Late Show time period. […] Combined, the show’s one-hour block averaged 737,000 total viewers (down -72%) and 78,000 adults 18–49 (down -66%).”

This was not entirely surprising. Most knowledgeable TV analysts assumed that Kimmel would get the lion’s share of Colbert’s viewers. His program and brand of humor is closer to Colbert’s, than Jimmy Fallon, who strives for a more congenial image that is averse to offending anyone.

So Kimmel is the big winner in this battle. And the big loser? That would be Trump. He despises Kimmel nearly as much as he did Colbert. Trump has repeatedly called for Kimmel to be fired. Instead, Kimmel is becoming bigger and more popular than ever. He recently won a coveted Peabody Award and used his acceptance speech to skewer Trump.

Despite Trump’s pathetic efforts to hamper Kimmel’s rise, there is really nothing that he can do about it. But that won’t stop him from whining and lashing out in a futile attempt to bring Kimmel down. It won’t work. It will just make Trump look weaker and more pitiful. If that’s even still possible at this point.

HUH? Trump Now Says His Weaponization Fund Was to Compensate People Who Were Abused – By the Media?

It’s getting more difficult every day to keep track of the myriad explanations and excuses that Donald Trump dispenses to the press for whatever calamity happens to be gnawing at his rapidly decomposing brain matter. The problem with trying to comprehend Trump’s explosive diarhetoric is that he continuously alters it fit into his always evolving fantastical version of reality.

Donald Trump, CNN

For instance: Tariffs don’t impact American consumers. No, I’m removing some tariffs to help American consumers. And: My vanity ballroom won’t cost taxpayers a penny. No, the ballroom is going to cost a billion dollars for national security. And: I had nothing to do with canceling Stephen Colbert. No, I’ve taken out many bad political pundits including Stephen Colbert. And: We’re at war with Iran. No, the war is over. No, it wasn’t a war to begin with, it was an excursion. And now Trump is doing the same with his “weaponization” slush fund…

During a press avail at the White House on Thursday, Trump engaged in a brief exchange with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins. She asked him about his now abandoned slush fund, and he replied in the typically rude and flagrantly dishonest manner that has become his hallmark.

Collins: Just to clarify on what you were asked earlier, is the $1.8 billion DOJ fund dead or is it on hold?
Trump: It’s — I’d have to ask the lawyers, I don’t know. I know one thing: The weaponization fund, as far as I’m concerned was a beautiful thing. It was something I was — I didn’t make it, but I was — I heard that I thought that was the greatest thing because people like you…have abused our people so badly – Be quiet — have abused our people so badly and you should be ashamed of yourself. […] CNN does such false reporting, but now they have new ownership, so maybe it’ll straighten it out. I doubt it, but it’s hard to straighten garbage out. But CNN has abused and others have abused so badly.

WTF IS TRUMP TALKING ABOUT?He is not only being grossly disrespectful to Kaitlan Collins of CNN, he is saying that his illegal $1.8 billion "weaponization" fund was to compensate people who were abused by the media. That's a new one from the Demented One.

There is a lot to unravel in that stream of incoherence. First of all, Trump’s claim of ignorance – while on the surface is believable considering his cognitive dysfunction – in this case is ridiculous. He knows exactly what happened with the fund because he was responsible for it. And the lawyers to whom he refers are his lawyers.

More to the point, Trump is not only being grossly disrespectful (as usual) to Collins by dismissively ordering her to “be quiet,”, he is also saying that his illegal slush fund was intended to compensate the January 6th insurrectionists who he now says were abused by the media, rather than law enforcement and the prosecutors who held them accountable for their seditious crimes, many of whom pleaded guilty.

Trump’s original claim that his StormTrumpers were badly treated by law enforcement was preposterous on its face. Which is why he has dropped it under pressure from his own MAGA Republicans in Congress and the MAGA media. But this new assertion is even more bizarre. There is no legal justification for his attempting to use taxpayers dollars to compensate his criminal cult devotees for anything that was said about them by the media.

If Trump’s rioters really thought that they were abused by the media, they could seek compensation by filing defamation lawsuits on their own. But they would have to prove that the media lied with malice. And since there is zero chance that they could do that, they would promptly get laughed out of court.

Getting laughed out of court just happens to be the proper response to any litigation that Trump dredges up. Unfortunately, there are still a few of his flunkies in robes who willingly do his bidding. But that state of affairs won’t last forever. And before long the time come will come when he and his goon squad will be brought to justice.

MAGA Mike Johnson Pitifully Tries to Cover For Trump Saying ‘I Don’t Care About the Midterms’

The upcoming midterm elections portend to be a disaster of epic proportions for Donald Trump and his Republican Party. Trump’s approval ratings are at record lows, and generic political party polling shows Democrats with significant advantages over the MAGA-ified GOP.

Donald Trump and Mike Johnson

Making matters worse, Trump is proving to be his own worst enemy with every utterance emanating from his pathologically lying lips. Even under the best, most favorably rigged circumstances, Trump manages to dig himself ever deeper into a hole that he has no chance of climbing out of.

So what does his chief representative in Congress do to rescue him from a dire electoral fate? Well, during a Wednesday morning press briefing, Republican House Speaker, MAGA Mike Johnson, tried to sane-wash some of Trump’s demented babbling. Last week Trump was asked about how his fiasco in Iran might impact the midterms. Trump replied that

“[Iran] thought they were gonna out wait me. ‘We’ll out wait him. He’s got the midterms.’ I don’t care about the midterms.”

Trump: "I don't care about the midterms"

That’s a pretty clear statement that Trump isn’t bothered by the broad public disapproval of his handling of the Iran quagmire. True to form, he’s going to do whatever he wants without regard to what the American people want, or what’s best for the nation. When this came up at Johnson’s press briefing, it elicited the following exchange…

Question: Trump says he doesn’t care about the midterms. Do you think he’s focused enough on domestic policy?
Johnson: What he said there has been taken out of context and it’s so unfair. This president is more laser focused and more dialed in on domestic issues here in the homeland than any president in memory. He spends more time working on domestic issues in one day than Joe Biden did in four. That’s an objective fact.

REALLY? After Trump said that he doesn’t care about the midterms, Johnson makes excuses saying that Trump was “taken out of context,” and that he “spends more time on domestic issues.” On on the former, it’s hard to imagine a positive context for saying he doesn’t care. But on the latter, to be fair, he’s kind of right, depending on how you define domestic issues…

Suffice to say that Johnson didn’t help Trump with that nonsense reply. Trump’s domestic agenda has been nothing short of abysmal. The only thing that’s worse is his foreign agenda. But that didn’t stop Johnson and his House GOP lieutenants from making clowns of themselves. Notice the posters that he set up for the briefing. One of them asserts that while “Republicans are CUTTING YOUR TAXES, DEMOCRATS WERE TRANS-ING THE MICE (with $8.2 Billion of Your Tax Dollars).”

First of all, the “trans-ing the mice” reference is just as untrue as when Trump said it in a speech before Congress last year. He totally misunderstood a report on “transgenic” research on mice, which are genetic experiments done to study human illnesses, and have nothing to do with gender transitioning. And secondly, the only tax cutting that Trump has done was for corporations and the wealthy.

Johnson could have spared himself the trouble of covering for Trump’s asinine comments about not caring. Most Americans already know that he doesn’t care about them. He even said so on another occasion just last month when he defended his war against Iran and the economic harm it was doing here at home, saying that “I don’t think about Americans’ financial situation. I don’t think about anybody.” Yeah…We know.
