The notoriously inflated, yet painfully fragile ego of Donald Trump is once again dominating the stage at the annual White House presidential Thanksgiving pardoning of the turkeys. And no, that doesn’t mean Pete Hegseth, Pam Bondi, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, and other Trump Cabinet puppets. At least not yet, anyway.

For every year that Trump has occupied the White House, he has made these otherwise joyful occasions into insufferably antagonistic spectacles aimed at fluffing his flaccid micro-manhood. And this year is no exception. Trump came prepared with preplanned “jokes” and insults to hurl at his political foes as a means of distracting from his profound failures and severely declining approval ratings. Which shouldn’t surprise anyone considering how dreadfully he is doing his job this holiday season.

In the course of this perfunctory presentation, Trump managed to fill it with self-serving rhetoric that not only devalued the theme of the holiday, but exposed how utterly devoid he is of the honor and decency that the American people hope for in their leaders. What follows are a few of the grossly inappropriate remarks he made at this turkey pardoning ceremony…

• He joked that President Biden pardoned Thanksgiving turkeys with an autopen, and he then declared them invalid.
• He brought Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi into his pettiness, saying that he considered naming the turkeys “Chuck” and “Nancy,” but changed his mind because he would never really pardon them. Of course he did pardon true turkeys like Rudy Giuliani and Steve Bannon, and hundreds of January 6th rioters, including cop beaters.
• He called Illinois Governor JB Pritzker “a big fat slob.” Which is further proof of Trump’s stunted emotional growth, and also that he doesn’t own a mirror.
• He lied that there have been no murders in Washington, D.C. in six months. He’s only off by about fifty.
• He repeated his already debunked lie that Thanksgiving dinner – and everything else – is less expensive this year than last.
• He Related gruesome stories of crimes before an audience of families with children present.
• He bragged that “more people are praying.” But that’s just because more people pray during a crisis. And there currently are more people who are disgusted, and suffering, and afraid of Trump’s authoritarian aspirations

Trump really has a way of bringing the joy of the season to everyone, doesn’t he? It’s typical of his holiday messages that famously disparage anyone with whom he disagrees. For instance…

So here’s wishing everyone a truly happy Thanksgiving. Including the felonious pedophile in the White House who favors starving American children, fights for higher healthcare costs, and seeks to execute members of Congress for advocating law and order.
