SLEEPY DON Throws a Tedious Tantrum Triggered By a New York Times Exposé of Trump Fatigue

Anyone who has been observing the behavior of Donald Trump in recent months cannot help but notice his rapidly declining ability to focus on critical issues, or comprehend simple subjects, or even to remain awake during White House meetings. His temperament wavers between lethargic rest home resident and raving psychiatric patient.

Donald Trump

The precarious state of Trump’s mental condition is one of many reasons that his approval ratings are in the toilet. Most reputable polls show him at or near the lows for either of his occupations of the White House. And that even includes polling by his Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News…

So it should come as no surprise that Trump is lashing out maniacally at the media for having the audacity to report the truth about him. This time it is a familiar foe, the New York Times, that just published an article with the headline Shorter Days, Signs of Fatigue: Trump Faces Realities of Aging in Office,” wherein they analyzed Trump’s noticeably faltering state of consciousness, comparing his current 79 year old self to the 71 year old one that began his first term in office. And it’s a rather disturbing comparison. The Times analysis reveals that…

“Trump has fewer public events on his schedule and is traveling domestically much less than he did by this point during his first year in office […] He also keeps a shorter public schedule than he used to.” […]

“Trump’s [first term] scheduled events started at 10:31 a.m. on average. By contrast, Mr. Trump in his second term has started scheduled events in the afternoon on average, at 12:08 p.m. [And that] The number of Mr. Trump’s total official appearances has decreased by 39 percent. In 2017, Mr. Trump held 1,688 official events between Jan. 20 and Nov. 25 of that year. For that same time period this year, Mr. Trump has appeared in 1,029 official events.”

True to form, Trump quickly rushed to reply to this article on his dedicated propaganda platform, Truth Social. He disgorged a 1,571 word rant, of which he spent more than half – 851 words – on flagrant lies about himself and his imagined record in office before getting to his real complaint. What follows are a few select excerpts that reflect the tone of his weakened mentality…

“The Creeps at the Failing New York Times are at it again. I won the 2024 Presidential Election in a Landslide…”
No he didn’t. It was one of the narrowest margins (1.5%) in modern times. Nevertheless, he went to boast about his phony landslide victory at length.

“The last Administration had the Highest Inflation in history – I have already brought that down to normal.”
No he didn’t. While inflation rose to about 9% during Biden’s term (which was lower than every other industrialized nation), it came down to about 2.9% before Trump was inaugurated. Trump also bragged falsely that he settled eight wars, was responsible for stock market highs, and restored respect around the world.

“To do this requires a lot of Work and Energy, and I have never worked so hard in my life. Yet…the soon to fold New York Times did a hit piece on me that I am perhaps losing my Energy.”
Trump’s idea of working hard includes golfing at his own clubs and luxuriating at Mar-a-Lago.

“This cheap “RAG” is truly an “ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE.” The writer of the story, Katie Rogers, who is assigned to write only bad things about me, is a third rate reporter who is ugly, both inside and out.”
The article was actually co-written by Katie Rogers and Dylan Freedman. But Trump chose to attack only the woman, and he used his typical misogynistic rhetoric to do so.

“I have my highest Poll Numbers, ever.”
Yeah sure, grandpa. Trump’s polling is abysmal. His best poll has him down by 14 points. And it’s all downhill (26 points down) from there.

“a PERFECT PHYSICAL EXAM AND A COMPREHENSIVE COGNITIVE TEST (“That was aced”)”
Trump has been bragging about this for years. The “cognitive” test was a simple exam given to detect early onset dementia that asks questions no more challenging that to identify a camel. And we still haven’t seen the full results of his physical exam that included an MRI, which is generally only prescribed when there is evidence of a problem.

It’s ironic that Trump’s tirade does more to prove the allegations of his mental infirmity than to persuade against it. But that’s a fairly common consequence of his rage-postings. If anyone is suffering from “Trump Fatigue,” It’s the American people. And no matter how hard he and his sycophants argue that he is sharp and aware, his own behavior always manages to contradict those pleadings. For instance…

Trump's Attorney Genuflect, Pam Bondi, says "we're all trying to keep up with the president."I think she meant "we're all trying to wake up the president."

  1. The only things Trump works so hard at is enriching himself and his rich associates, lying, calling people names, and destroying our democracy!
