Trump seems to have no awareness of the severity of his situation. He refuses to modify his behaviors or his campaign strategies that are alienating voters. To the contrary, he is tripling down on policies that ignore the real concerns of the American people, in favor of his reckless war mongering, his ego-fluffing projects, his illegal self-enrichment, and his oblivious lies about how universally beloved he is.

Needless to say, the “REAL Polling Numbers” that Trump is referencing exist only in his cartoon brain. He somehow continues to believe that the world adores him and any bad feelings are attributable to someone or something else. That delusion was reiterated on Friday during an interview with Jake Sherman of Punchbowl News (video below), wherein Trump whined that…
“The question is – and they’re asking this question, and I’ve had some great polls recently, real polls, but they’re great polls – If I don’t run will those people go out and vote? And that’s the one thing I can’t tell. I’m gonna ask them to. But I’m just watching guys like you, and you’re very talented people. The question is will they vote? Cause a lot of them are very angry, at Republicans to be honest with you. They’re angry at Republicans, but they’re not angry at me.”
Let’s set aside Trump’s unconstitutional implication that he could run for president again. He can’t. And if he were to try he would be laughed out of the court and the country. The crux of his commentary is his preposterous belief that the American people are only angry with his MAGA Republicans, but certainly not him.
Of course, today’s Republican Party has devolved to such an extent that they are too cowardly and weak to have any opinions of their own. They are wholly controlled by Trump, and they unwaveringly support everything he does and says. So how could people be angry at Republicans without also being angry at the sole source of everything that they do and say?
What’s more, Trump’s total rejection of reality was also confirmed in new polling reported by CNN’s Chief Data Analyst, Harry Enten. He noted that a key group of Trump’s MAGA supporters are ditching the MAGA cult movement.
“The MAGA movement was built among the working class, non-college Americans…Back on October of 2024, on the plus side of the ledger, positive, plus six points…Look at this movement now. Minus 22 points. That is a shift of 28 points…They are shifting away and saying ‘We don’t like MAGA anymore.’ […]
“Maybe they’ve soured on MAGA but they haven’t soured on Trump? Aint the truth…In the 2024 election he won them by 13 points…But look at this now. Minus 19 points…This is a 32 point shift away from the president…’Adios, goodbye Mr. President, We don’t like you anymore.'”
Enten also pointed out that Democrats in Congress have gained significantly over Republicans with this group. So the American people are sick and tired of MAGA, of Republicans, and most of all, of Trump. And no matter how much he tries to pretend that he is the venerated messiah of MAGA-tism, he remains a pathetic loser desperately clinging to a psychotic illusion of idolatry.

Hello, my friends in SOLIDARITY for PEACEFULLY PROGRESSING — NOT violently regressing — into the future.
When people who have lived their entire lives denying the reality of their crapulence by having absolutely no self awareness whatsoever, they can do 1 of 2 things:
1. They can finally take a long, meaningful look at themselves and their misery and decide to take responsibility for their own failings and failures ~ instead of incessantly scapegoating everyone else for their inability to have a decent life.
Although this step into reality seems frightening, once a person begins to admit their own mistakes and actually LEARN from them, they’ll realize that their lives will begin to have a deeper meaning. They may even end up enjoying life and develop a sense of humor that doesn’t involve getting perverse pleasure from the suffering of others.
Best of all, they will clearly see the reason why they fell into the MAGA trap of never taking responsibility for their own actions. Who knows, they may even start looking at Dementia DonOLD, the POP (protector of pedophiles) as the worthless loser he is ~ and has always been.
2. Fearing having to face their pathetic, depraved, racist, misogynistic and all-around hateful traits, they may double down on their delusional belief that trump is JUST LIKE THEM and that their loyalty (which will NEVER be reciprocated or appreciated) will be rewarded. But, due to their lack of self awareness, they will never realize the TRUTH — that, if trump IS truly JUST LIKE THEM — a retched, angry bully who never admits fault, never keeps promises and blames the people who are able to enjoy their lives, even though they are NOT a white, “Christian” heretic who has no value to society. They REFUSE to accept other people’s lifestyles ~ as if ANYONE cares what LOSERS believe ~ and, since they feel FORCED to share their country ? with the LGBTQ, African Americans, Jewish,
Muslim, Hispanic/Latino and “WOKE” (empathetic intellectuals ?) people who have value to society — they simply blame all of these people for making their lives a miserable mess.
By feeling FORCED to accept other human beings and their lifestyles that they don’t understand — as if the understanding of walking excrement is required before simply accepting others on the ROUND planet ?! and purpose in life.
Instead of admitting what an easily manipulated moron they have been, they look at their FALSE PROPHET as their “hero” for being a retched, closeted piece of worthlessness who lives without EVER feeling any need to make amends or even apologize for their acts of EVIL.
I’m concerned that these people ~ like the seditious traitors of the Oath Keepers and Proud Boys — “men” who enjoy playing leapfrog with other manly men and find the REALLY close, male bonding very pleasurable. Of course, like Hegseth & Mike “on Trump’s” Johnson , are NOT homosexuals — they are just men who are constantly searching for GLORY (holes ??). ?

Yes, they are indeed! By surrounding himself & filling our Gov’t with butt-licking fools, all he hears is himself echoed in all those around him. This feeds his Malignant Narcissism, 24/7! And as we’ve seen, should anyone attempt even a tiny difference of opinion from Trump, he cuts them right out, ASAP.
Trump is the poster child for a NARCISSIST ~ Malignant type.. the WORST OF THE WORST!! Everything you described in your post is total, 100% Narcissism!! He is not covert about it either!! Narcissism is a bona fide mental illness/disorder. There is no known cure! Mostly cuz’ they are certain THEY ARE PERFECT 100% OF THE TIME !! Therefore, they never voluntarily go get help for their dangerous delusions of grandeur. Narcissists have to be FORCED into Psych care ~ which is almost impossible unless they do something SO HORRIBLE that they end up in prison! Many get diagnosed in prison. But diagnosing is NOT treatment! And there’s too many inmates, not enuff mental health & mostly it’s just to put inmates on medication, which is NO HELP for Narcissism. Trump is classic case, altho severely deranged ~ no doubt being born with a gold spoon in his mouth helped him get away with being such an asshole. His NDAs he makes everyone around him sign, with terrible threats, has kept the rest quiet about what they know. Wealthy Narcissists are the WORST, since all that wealth & power “feeds the monster”!! But, even regular, everyday Narcis (they’d hate being described as “everyday”/ordinary!) are nasty little suckers to deal with!! You cannot change the mind, or behavior of the Narcissist, for they are 100% CERTAIN that THEY ARE PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!! No one is perfect… but don’t say that to a Narcissist ~ they’ll go to extreme lengths to prove they’re right!! Always! Even when obviously wrong, they don’t back off or let go!! Because they’re SO CONVINCED that they’re smarter & better than EVERYONE ELSE, they have NO ability to learn from mistakes (after all, they NEVER make any.?) There’s no cure & they tend to be leaders, tho NOT good ones! Being married to even the “nicer” ones is Hell on Earth!! Trump is the Malignant type & should NEVER BE in position of power, esp. with weapons at his disposal!! Death & disaster will follow & many lives have been ruined by Narcis! No cure!!
But, maybe we could manage not to raise so many of them… Parents need to NOT think, say, act, that their kids are perfect! (I know it’s hard for some of you.) Also, children need to be made to be responsible for their actions, not be allowed to blame others for everything! When they say/think the problem is NEVER them, or something they said/did, that FEEDS narcissism & every time adds up. Realizing that EVERYONE makes mistakes, & is wrong sometimes, EVEN THEM… MATTERS!!
Trump obviously never learned any of that & as adults, the damage they do is much greater & by then, the ability to accept responsibility for their actions becomes almost impossible, cuz’ by then, it’s too late. We all want to raise kids with a good self-image, but we/they also need to see the same applies to other people. NOT JUST THEM!!
