Trump Celebrates a ‘Major WIN’ Against the Pulitzer Prize Board in a Blithering Outburst of Bile

One thing that Donald Trump will never be accused of is having a rational sense of subtlety. To the contrary, he known for his hair-trigger hyperbole in all matters, constantly ratcheting everything up to ludicrous levels of extremism.

Donald Trump

Case in point is Trump’s response to the news of a recent court ruling on a motion in his lawsuit against the Pulitzer Prize board. Trump sued the board in an bizarre attempt to get them to rescind the Pulitzer Prizes awarded to the Washington Post and the New York Times for their coverage of the unsavory connections between Trump’s election campaign and a variety of Russian operatives.

SEE THIS: Trump Sues the Pulitzer Prize Board for Honoring Accurate Stories of His Russian Collusion

On Wednesday night Trump posted a comment on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, that was a rambling flurry of abusive adjectives and lies in which he claimed that a minor court ruling is a “major WIN” that will force the recipients of a Pulitzer Prize to return it. Trump raged that

“In a major WIN in our powerful lawsuit against the Pulitzer Prize Board regarding the illegal and defamatory ‘Award’ of their once highly respected ‘Prize,’ to fake, malicious stories on the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, by the Failing New York Times and the Washington Compost, the Florida Appellate Court viciously rejected the Defendants’ corrupt attempt to halt the case.”

Needless to say, there was no “major WIN” in Trump’s lawsuit. The Pulitzer’s award was neither “illegal” nor “defamatory.” The stories that received the award were neither “fake” nor “malicious.” And nothing in the appellate court’s ruling was “vicious.” These were just more examples of Trump’s rank dishonesty and rancid hyperbole. But he was just getting started. He continued…

“They won a Pulitzer Prize for totally incorrect reporting about the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax. Now they admit it was a SCAM, never happened, and their reporting was totally wrong, in fact, the exact opposite of the TRUTH. They’ll have to give back their ‘Award.’ They were awarded for false reporting, and we can’t let that happen in the United States of America. We are holding the Fake News Media responsible for their LIES to the American People”

Once again, the Pulitzer board was totally within their rights to grant awards as they see fit. They even conducted an independent review to affirm their original decision that concluded that “no passages or headlines, contentions or assertions in any of the winning submissions were discredited by facts that emerged subsequent to the conferral of the prizes.”. Trump’s claim that they now “admit it was a SCAM” is wholly delusional on Trump’s part. And his suggestion that the award would have to be returned is preposterous.

What Trump is calling a “a major WIN” is nothing more than a ruling against a motion by the Pulitzer board to temporarily pause proceedings in the case until Trump’s current term in office is complete, citing potential complications from a Supreme Court ruling that allows presidents temporary immunity for official acts during their term in office.

However, the Fourth District Court of Appeal in Florida ruled that “such privileges are afforded to the President alone, not to his litigation adversaries.” In other words, the Pulitzer board cannot assert a privilege granted to the president. So, because Trump isn’t moving for the delay, the case will go forward. Which Trump may live to regret.

Contrary to his bombastic bellowing, Trump hasn’t won anything. There was no finding on the merits of the lawsuit. The facts of the case still favor the Pulitzer board. And Trump’s obsession with suing everyone that hurts his tender fee fees is the only thing about this that was predictable.

Although his record is somewhat less than stellar. According to Democracy Docket, “The Trump administration has lost a shocking 96% of rulings in federal district courts so far this month.” And the results of this case are unlikely to improve that record.

The Choice of Fox News Trump-Fluffer Jeanine Pirro as Interim US Attorney May Be Illegal

The team that Donald Trump has assembled for his second occupation of the White House is a collection of incompetent misfits who have an unprecedented measure of ignorance of, and lack of qualifications for, the jobs that they have been appointed to carry out. Most of them are committed to sabotaging and/or shuttering the departments that they were hired to lead.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Jeanine Pirro Fox News

Among the saboteurs are Trump’s Defense Secretary, Pete Hegseth, an alcoholic with no command leadership experience, who has already been caught disclosing sensitive attack plans on a commercial chat app; Trump’s Health and Human Services Secretary, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, an anti-vax conspiracy crackpot with a brain worm; and Trump’s Attorney General, Pam Bondi, who doesn’t believe in Due Process or other explicit protections in the Constitution. But then, why should she when her boss doesn’t?

SEE THIS: WTHF? When Asked ‘Don’t You Need to Uphold the Constitution,’ Trump Replies ‘I Don’t Know.’

Which brings us to the mysterious case of Jeanine Pirro. She is the Fox News personality that Trump has just tapped to become the interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia. She is a replacement for Trump’s first choice, Ed Martin, who was torpedoed by his long record of improprieties and Trump cult worship. Pirro would be the 21st Fox News alum that Trump has recruited this time around. And she would join another Trump flunky, Alina Habba, among the ranks of U.S. Attorneys.

However, there is some controversy as to whether Pirro can actually take the job. The Washington Post Editorial Board published an article that explores whether Jeanine Pirro’s Appointment as U.S. Attorney Might Not Be Legal.” The article begins by stating that…

“[S]ince Pirro left her last job as a prosecutor two decades ago, she has acted in ways that call into question whether she has the independence necessary to responsibly take on one of the most important prosecutorial jobs in the United States. What’s more, in choosing her, Trump is pushing the limits of his authority. It isn’t clear that the law allows him to name successive interim U.S. attorneys who are not confirmed by the Senate.”

What the article is referring to is the “Federal Vacancies Reform Act of 1998” that governs interim appointments in the executive branch. It states that the U.S. District Court, not the president, can appoint a new interim staffer after the term of a previous interim staffer – in this case, Martin – has expired.

In their article, the Post’s Editorial Board elaborated on certain concerns about Pirro’s proposed appointment. For instance, they noted that “Trump has long wanted to place Pirro in a high government position.” He previously tried, and failed, to give her a high post in the Justice Department under his first Attorney General, Jeff Sessions, who he later fired. He discussed making her a special counsel to conduct meritless investigations of Hillary Clinton. And he briefly considered her for Attorney General before appointing Bill Barr, who he later fired.

When all of that failed, Pirro hooked up with Fox News where she made a name for herself sucking up to Trump and disseminating his most flagrant lies. She’s been there for twenty years now and has not been practicing law at all. Which makes her the perfect Trump appointee who is lacking in any relevant experience, other than her infatuation with Trump. As reported in the Post…

“On her Fox News show, she championed Trump’s efforts to overturn his 2020 defeat. In documents obtained by Dominion Voting Systems as part of discovery in its defamation lawsuit against Fox News (which led to a $787.5 million settlement), Pirro’s executive producer at the time referred to her as a ‘reckless maniac’ during an internal argument over her pro-Trump monologues.”

This is the person that Trump believes is best qualified to lead one of the most important prosecutorial offices in America. The truth is that Trump believes Pirro is best qualified to obstruct any inquiries into activities by him and his cronies, while launching phony persecutions of his political foes. And he’s aiming to do all of that with an appointment that he may not be legally authorized to make. But Trump wouldn’t do anything illegal, would he? WOULD HE?

WTHF? When Asked ‘Don’t You Need to Uphold the Constitution,’ Trump Replies ‘I Don’t Know.’

Donald Trump seems to be doing his best to affirm that he intends to become America’s first dictator. He is furiously dismantling every cherished institution of the nation from justice to academia to journalism, and even religion. There are no principles or values that he won’t stomp on in pursuit of his own exaltation.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Constitution

Included among the pillars of American principles that Trump is eager to plunder is the nation’s Constitution itself. Not that he has any idea what it says or what it means. To Trump it is an archaic document that is only there for him to exploit if possible, or discard when necessary.

SEE THIS: Trump’s Justice Dept Threatens Journalists as ‘Treasonous’ for Not Disclosing Sources of Leaks

Trump confirmed his distaste for the Constitution in an interview with Kristen Welker on Meet the Press this weekend. During a portion of the interview that dealt with Trump’s unlawful deportation agenda, Welker sought to get his views on the legal aspects of rounding up allegedly undocumented persons and shipping them off to foreign gulags without any justification or legal recourse.

Welker: Your Secretary of State [Marco Rubio] says that everyone who is here – citizens and noncitizens – deserves due process. Do you agree?
Trump: I don’t know. I’m not, I’m not a lawyer. I don’t know.
Welker: Well, the Fifth Amendment says as much.
Trump: I don’t know. It seems — it might say that, but if you’re talking about that, then we’d have to have a million or two million or three million trials. We have thousands of people that are some murderers and some drug dealers and some of the worst people on Earth. Some of the worst, most dangerous people on Earth. And I was elected to get them the hell out of here. And the courts are holding me from doing it.
Welker: “But even given those numbers that you’re talking about, don’t you need to uphold the Constitution of the United States as president?
Trump: I don’t know

Perhaps one of the most honest responses that Trump has ever given to a question is “I don’t know.” However, in this case, it is also one of the most disturbing. The president of the United States ought to know whether what he is doing is legal and constitutional. But Trump is admitting that he doesn’t know that the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution plainly says that “No person shall…be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.” That’s “person,” not citizen.

Instead, Trump attempts to cower behind some unnamed flank of lawyers, but does not even bother to say whether or not they agree with him or the Constitution about due process. Then he suggests that due process – and thus the Constitution – can be ignored if there are too many people seeking its protection. And of course, because there has been no due process, Trump doesn’t know whether any of the people he is deporting are criminals or dangerous, or even in the U.S. illegally.

Worst of all is that Trump was asked directly if he needs to “uphold the Constitution” and replies that he “doesn’t know” about that either. He literally pledged an oath to do so when he was inaugurated. How is this not a five alarm warning that Trump is determined to discard the Constitution and declare himself King of America?

MORE HERE: Trump Marks His First 100 Days By Glorifying Why Most Americans See Him as ‘A Dangerous Dictator’

Given Trump’s responses, what’s to stop him from arresting a couple thousand journalists and then saying that there are too many of them to hold hearings to ascertain whether or not their First Amendment rights were violated. So it’s off to El Salvador for you. And he could do the same with lawyers, or teachers, or civil rights activists, or members of Congress, or anyone who triggers Trump’s ire. And yes, that means you.

WHUT? Trump’s Press Secretary Says the Trump Regime is Open to Arresting a Supreme Court Justice

Just when you might have thought that Donald Trump has gone as far as humanly possible to undermine democracy and defile the Constitution, he manages to descend even farther. If there is one thing we should have learned over the past few years it’s that there is literally no bottom to Trump’s anti-American grotesquery.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

King Donald Trump in the Oval Office.

In just the past few days, Trump has made some significant strides in his efforts to unravel the rights that Americans have cherished for a couple of centuries. He has deported legal residents to a gulag in El Salvador. He has threatened the academic freedom of universities. He has gone after the fundraising arms of his political foes. And he is even threatening journalists who dare to tell the truth about him.

SEE THIS: Trump’s Justice Dept Threatens Journalists as ‘Treasonous’ for Not Disclosing Sources of Leaks

Now, on the heels of his “Justice” Department arresting a Wisconsin judge on phony charges that she helped a migrant to evade Trump’s ICE goons, his press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, has upped the ante in his fight against law and order. During a morning press briefing at the White House, Leavitt was asked a surprisingly coherent question by Peter Doocy of Fox News…

Doocy: As you guys look at other judges, would you ever arrest somebody higher up on the judicial food chain, like a federal judge or even a Supreme Court Justice?
Leavitt: That’s a hypothetical question…Anyone who is breaking the law or obstructing federal law enforcement officials from doing their job is putting yourself at risk for being prosecuted. Absolutely!

DOOCY: Would you ever arrest a federal judge or even a Supreme Court justice?LEAVITT: I'd refer you to the DOJ for individuals they are looking at … anyone who is breaking the law or obstructing federal law enforcement officials is putting themselves at risk of being prosecuted, absolutely

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2025-04-28T13:19:30.921Z

So Leavitt is explicitly declaring that the Trump regime would arrest a Supreme Court Justice if they determined that he or she was breaking a law. And we know from experience that, in Trump’s view, anything that is contrary to his personal interests he considers to be unlawful. This weekend he raged that President Biden and the members of the House Committee to Investigate the January 6th Insurrection should all be in jail! So what’s to stop him from ordering the arrest of Justice Sonia Sotomayor because he doesn’t like how she rules on cases about him?

By the logic that Leavitt is employing, a Democratic Justice Department could arrest Clarence Thomas for taking millions of dollars in gifts (bribes?) from wealthy defendants who have cases before the Court. They could arrest Samuel Alito for ruling that Trump has “immunity” from the crimes he commits, because that ruling would facilitate obstruction of justice. In both of those examples there is far more justification for taking legal action against the Justices than anything that Trump or Leavitt have alleged.

These remarks by Leavitt are among the steps being taken by the Trump regime to turn America into a full fledged dictatorship. They would control the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of government. With the stranglehold they seek to exert over academia, lawfare, and the media, they would rival totalitarian regimes like Russia and North Korea. And while it may seem far-fetched, it is closer to reality today than it has ever been in the United States. Consequently, the vigilance and resistance of the people is needed now more than ever as well.

Trump’s Justice Dept Threatens Journalists as ‘Treasonous’ for Not Disclosing Sources of Leaks

The authoritarian aspirations of Donald Trump have hardly been kept hidden. To the contrary, he brags about it, even celebrates it, on a daily basis. His brazen attacks on everything from universities, to law firms, to independent federal agencies that he is expressly prohibited from interacting with, are naked attempts to unlawfully expand and abuse his position as president.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Censorship

Among the institutions that Trump regularly persecutes is the one profession that is explicitly protected in the Constitution by name: Freedom of the Press. For many years Trump has maligned the media in Stalinist terms as “the enemy of the people.” But more recently he has taken to filing ludicrous lawsuits and banishing those who are insufficiently worshipful from presidential events.

SEE THIS: Trump’s Press Secretary Takes Questions From a Russian Funded MAGA Podcaster in the WH Press Room

Trump’s most recent assault on the free press comes on the heels of its abhorrent attack on the judiciary with the arrest of a judge in Wisconsin on phony charges that she helped an undocumented immigrate evade apprehension by Trump’s ICE goons. This escalation of the Trump regime’s demolishing of the Constitution has infuriated even conservatives worried about Trump’s overreaching into totalitarian tactics.

However, if you thought that it couldn’t get any worse, you don’t know Trump. On Friday, Trump assigned his lickspittle Attorney Genuflect, Pam Bondi, to issue an official Justice Department memo aimed at threatening journalists with legal consequences – including arrest and potentially much worse – for merely doing their job.

Journalists have long been shielded from these sort of government threats by the First Amendment of the Constitution, along with Justice Department policy to refrain from imposing pressure on them to disclose their sources or other work product. But now Trump and Bondi are exacerbating their bullying by rescinding a Biden administration policy that prohibited such oppressive conduct.

What follows are a couple of the most harrowing portions of the Bondi memo, wherein she advocates for “the use of subpoenas, court orders, and search warrants to compel production of information and testimony by and relating to members of the news media.” As reported by Ken Dilanian, NBC News justice and intelligence correspondent…

“I have concluded that it is necessary to rescind Merrick Garland’s policies precluding the Department of Justice from seeking records and compelling testimony from members of the news media in order to identify and punish the source of improper leaks.”

Translation: Bondi is permitting Trump’s Justice Department to demand that journalists give up their confidential sources, including personal communications (texts, phone records, emails, etc.), under threat of subpoena, incarceration, and criminal prosecution if they refuse to comply. That is flagrantly unconstitutional. What’s more, it would hamper the ability of reporters to gather information from government sources who would be too afraid to talk if they knew the reporters could be coerced into revealing their identity. And leaks are not “improper” unless they include classified data. The memo continued…

“This Justice Department will not tolerate unauthorized disclosures that undermine President Trump’s policies, victimize government agencies, and cause harm to the American people. ‘Where a Government employee improperly discloses sensitive information for the purposes of personal enrichment and undermining our foreign policy, national security, and Government effectiveness— all ultimately designed to sow chaos and distrust in Government- this conduct could properly be characterized as treasonous.'”

Translation: Bondi is improperly assuming the role of policing the media’s disclosures of presidential activities. That is not remotely within the jurisdiction of the Justice Department. And it is especially improper if the intent is to avoid what it regards as “undermining” the president’s policies. The public has a right to know what the president is up to, whether the president or the Justice Department likes it or not.

Even worse, Bondi is overtly threatening journalists with the capitol crime of treason. She is actually advocating for the execution of a reporter who might tell the truth about some malfeasance by the president. Which the public also has a right to know about.

For the record, that portion of Bondi’s memo was lifted verbatim from Trump’s prior executive order instructing the Justice Department to conduct a punitive investigation of Miles Taylor, the former Chief of Staff to Trump’s Secretary of Homeland Security, whose only crime was writing an honest book about Trump’s scandalous first term in office.

Trump’s fondness for threatening to execute his political foes is well documented. He has made a habit of calling his critics “treasonous.” Some of those he has targeted in the past include, Barack Obama, Liz Cheney, Nancy Pelosi, James Comey, Adam Schiff, the New York Times, and Google.

Now Trump has had his Attorney General codify his bloodlust so that he can begin to carry out his campaign of vengeance. This must not be allowed to proceed. And since his Justice Department cannot be relied on to do the right thing, it is left to Congress to find the courage to impeach him before he gets away with any more of his monarchal madness.

Is This a Joke? Trump’s Attorney Genuflect, Pam Bondi, Tells Fox News ‘No One Is Above the Law’

One of the most chronic complaints of Donald Trump and his cult cabal has been his assertion that there has been a “weaponization” of government, particularly with regard to the Justice Department. His feelings on this subject are surely driven by the fact that he has been the most criminally active president in history, with a rap sheet longer than mobster Al Capone’s. Which, for some reason, he likes to brag about.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Fox News, Pam Bondi

However, the only real evidence of such weaponization actually comes from the Trump administration itself. From the outset of his reoccupation of the White House, Trump has embarked on mission of malevolence aimed at all manner of civil servants, but especially the judiciary.

SEE THIS: Trump is on a Crusade to Intimidate and Impeach Judges Who Dare to Rule Against Dear Leader

On Friday morning there was a chilling example of this malignant behavior in a report that Trump’s FBI had arrested a sitting judge in Wisconsin on charges of obstructing justice by allegedly helping an illegal immigrant evade arrest. The charge is a typically specious exercise in the fascistic philosophy that permeates everything that Trump and his cronies are doing.

True to form, whenever there is a crisis connected to the Trump regime, he dispatches his subordinates to Fox News. Many of them spend more time on Fox than they do in their offices doing their jobs. That may actually be a blessing in disguise. In this case, it was Attorney Genuflect, Pam Bondi, who took her place on the Fox News pedestal to deliver her propaganda pitch to Fox hosts John Roberts and Sandra Smith. She began by insulting the whole of the judicial system…

Bondi: What has happened to our judiciary is beyond me.
Smith: When the American public hears this and they think these were once outstanding people in their communities, and their professions, and they put it on the line for this. Have you dug into their motive? What inspired them to carry out these acts and harbor criminals?
Bondi: They’re deranged is all I can think of. I cannot believe… I think that some of these judges think they are beyond and above the law. And they are not. And we’re sending a very strong message today, if you are harboring a fugitive, we don’t care who you are. If you’re helping hide one, if you’re giving a TdA [Tren de Aragua gang] member guns, anyone who is illegally in this country, we will come after you and prosecute you. We’ll find you.

Bondi declares war on the courts: "What has happened to our judiciary is beyond me … they are deranged … we are sending a very strong message today … we will come after you and we will prosecute you. We will find you."

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2025-04-25T17:11:59.990Z

Notice that Smith openly takes Bondi’s side, expressing her horror that this judge would put her reputation on the line, and falsely stating as a matter of fact that the judge was harboring criminals. To which Bondi replied that the only explanation for such behavior was that the judge is “deranged.” That is not a legal argument. It is a childish insult that reveals Bondi’s legal ineptitude. She also throws in an extraneous reference to someone giving guns to gang members, which no one has even hinted at. But this was just the beginning. They went on…

Roberts: Very significant development that you’re arresting judges now. Now it could be that the judges engaged in some terribly bad behavior and deserve to be arrested. But you know what critics will say. That this is the government that is expanding the powers of Article 1 of the Constitution, now they’re arresting judges. How do you respond to that?
Bondi: No one is above the law. No one is above the law in this country. And if you are destroying evidence, if you are obstructing justice, if you have victims sitting a courtroom of domestic violence, and you’re escorting a criminal defendant out a back door, it will not be tolerated. It is a crime in the United States of America. It doesn’t matter who you are. You are going to be prosecuted.”

ROBERTS: Critics will say this is the government expanding the powers of Article 1 of the Constitution, now they're arresting judges. How do you respond?BONDI: Nobody is above the law

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2025-04-25T17:13:12.277Z

How any credible journalist could listen to that response and not break out in hysterical laughter is hard to fathom. Although Fox News need not worry about that because they don’t employ any credible journalists.

Bondi’s clinging to the notion that “no one is above the law” is hypocritical in the extreme. Her boss, Trump, has literally been adjudicated to be above the law by the right-wing members of the Supreme Court who ruled that he has immunity for official acts, which they seem to define as anything that he says is official.

Meanwhile, Trump has 34 pending felony convictions for which he has not been sentenced. There are 54 more felony charges for which he has not been tried. And he continues to rack up more criminal acts, such his shuttering independent government agencies over which he has no jurisdiction. And his firing of thousands of employees without complying with the legal prerequisites to do so. And his deportations of people without providing the due process that the law demands. And his refusing to obey federal court orders and injunctions.

But other than that, no one is above the law. Well, except for all the MAGA politicians who break the law with impunity. And all of Trump’s oligarch pals who get away with flagrant financial crimes. And about 1,500 violent insurrections who stormed the Capitol in an attempt to undermine democracy, and put 140 police officers in the hospital, who all got presidential pardons. But other than that…

White House ‘Corrects’ a New York Times Headline – Winds Up Affirming Trump’s Contempt of Court

The second occupation of the White House by Donald Trump has proven to be far more destructive of the laws and principles of the United States and its Constitution than even the most pessimistic prognosticators imagined. And exacerbating the damage done is the fact that Trump routinely makes matters worse when he is confronted with his offenses.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump

That was demonstrated this week when Sen. Chris Van Hollen travelled to El Salvador to arrange a meeting with his Maryland constituent, Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was abducted by Trump’s thugs and carted off to a gulag in El Salvador without the due process that everyone is entitled to in the American justice system. Garcia has also suffered the defamatory abuse of Trump’s MAGA media propagandists.

SEE THIS: Trump DHS Official on Fox News Likens Wrongly Deported Migrant, Abrego Garcia, to Osama Bin Laden

After first being refused, Van Hollen was eventually permitted to see Abrego Garcia and ascertain his welfare and treatment while in custody. The meeting was a significant step forward to what should be Abrego Garcia’s release, and it was widely reported in the U.S. press.

Among the media that posted stories about the meeting was the New York Times. Their headline accurately stated that “Senator Meets With Wrongly Deported Maryland Man in El Salvador.” And that honesty was taken as some sort of challenge by the Trump administration to pile on with more lies and callous disregard for human rights. The White House posted the following…

Thanks White House hack, for providing this additional proof that Trump is in Contempt of Court for non-compliance with a court order to facilitate the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia from El Salvador.

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-04-18T18:40:35.874Z

You really have to wonder just how severely disturbed one has to be to get on Trump’s White House staff. This attempt to mock what is a profoundly gross violation of international law and human rights is not only repulsive, it actually harms Trump’s already weak arguments for having deported Abrego Garcia, and for maintaining his incarceration. Trump’s White House is actually affirming that he is deliberately in Contempt of Court.

For starters, they crossed out the word “Wrongly,” which contradicts their own admission that Abrego Garcia’s deportation was the result of an administrative error.”

Secondly, they also crossed out the words “Maryland Man,” and replaced them with “MS-13 Illegal Alien. However, there is no evidence whatsoever that Abrego Garcia is, or ever was, affiliated with MS-13 or any other gang. Furthermore, in the 15 years that he has lived in the U.S. he has never been arrested or charged with any crime.

Finally, they added the words “Who’s Never Coming Back” to end of the headline, referring to their insistence that Trump and his administration have no intention bringing Abrego Garcia back home, despite the ruling by a federal court ordering his return, which was upheld 9-0 by the Supreme Court. That’s gonna come in handy when hearings are held to determine whether Trump should be held in Contempt of Court.

For his part, Trump took time off from golfing to address this matter with a comment on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, saying that Van Hollen “looked like a fool,” who was “begging for attention.” And for that Trump called him a “grandstander.” All of which proves that Trump is still the master of projection and is staring into a mirror when composing his insults of others. Has there ever been a more foolish, attention grabbing, grandstander than Trump?

Trump’s New US Attorney Drools All Over Dear Leader While Exhibiting Her Ignorance of the Law

Although it may seem like two years or more, it has only been two months since Donald Trump was inaugurated for the reprise of his occupation of the White House. In that short period of time he has managed to rack up some new and repugnant records for subverting the will of the people and undermining democracy.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Woman, Fear

Trump’s efforts to sabotage the workings of the government run the gamut of the right-wing wish lists from shuttering programs that help the poor, to suppressing the free press by banning journalists that fail to sufficiently worship him. Many of his initiatives are already being challenged in court, where he has compiled more injunctions and temporary restraining orders than any president in at least sixty years. Additionally, he assembled what is unquestionably the worst, most unqualified Cabinet in America’s history. And that includes his new U.S. Attorney, Alina Habba.

SEE THIS: Trump Plants His Personal Lawyer, Alina Habba, in New Jersey as US Attorney – to Hide His Crimes?

Upon her appointment to her Justice Department post, Habba immediately set about performing her highest priority duties as defined by the Trump Doctrine: Appearing on Fox News to spread blatant propaganda. To that end, Habba sat for a friendly tongue bathing with Fox’s John Roberts and Sandra Smith, who watched obediently without ever interrupting to challenge her lies.

Habba began by declaring that “We have something called separation of powers for a reason.”
Of course, she has no idea what that reason is, but she probably thought it sounded smart, something that she recently said was easy to fake.” Habba also said that she wants “to understand the rationale of trying to keep criminals in our great nation.” Which no is trying to do. The arguments against Trump’s unconstitutional deportations are that the defendants haven’t been afforded the due process that the Constitution demands. They have not been determined to be criminals. And many have been found to be citizens or legal residents with no criminal record.

However, according to Habba, none of that is necessary because “the decision is president Trump’s.” So she is asserting that Trump reigns supreme over the law of the land, like the totalitarian dictators that he idolizes. Then Habba continues her harangue with some wholly dishonest gaslighting about Trump’s alleged approval…

“What they’re trying to do is stop the president Trump’s agenda because he is skyrocketing right now. He has truly had so much approval. If you look at it, it is over 80% percent of Americans want illegal immigrants out. Trump’s approval rating is at an all-time high of anyone. He had an 80 million person mandate on November 5th and he he is keeping true to his promises. These judges have no business coming in and trying to stop the trump administration from pursuing their agenda, which was the ‘America First’ agenda to keep us safe.”

Habba’s assertion that Trump’s approval is “at an all-time high of anyone,” is just plain bullsh*t. To the contrary, it is the lowest of any president at this point in his term in decades. What’s more, his so-called mandate is one of the narrowest ever, only 1.5%. And as for his “keeping true to his promises,” there is a long list of pledges he made for day one of his reoccupation of the White House that has gone unfulfilled.

With regard to Habba’s claim about the public’s position on immigration, the actual polling is more complex than Habba’s ultra-partisan view. Sure, most Americans are not in favor of illegal immigration on principle. But that doesn’t mean that they want all of them rounded up like animals and carted off to medieval prisons in foreign countries that they’ve never been to.

According to a recent Pew poll, only about a third of Americans say that they want all illegal migrants immediately deported. Another 51% say they only favor deportation for those who have committed violent crimes. However, millions of undocumented migrants are working in agriculture and construction and medical care. Their absence would severely harm those industries and the people they are serving.

Finally, Habba says that “judges have no business coming in and trying to stop the trump administration from pursuing their agenda.” And with that statement she is contradicting her opening remarks about separation of powers. Reviewing and ruling on the constitutionality of actions by the executive and legislative branches is precisely what the judiciary is supposed to be doing. But Habba is too ignorant of the law, and too wrapped up in her biases to comprehend that.

Consequently, Habba will continue to serve her time at the Justice Department by appearing on Fox News and other MAGA media, rather than actually overseeing the U.S. Attorney’s office and investigating and indicting criminals. Except of course, for those people that Trump declares to be criminals because they prosecuted, or criticized, or otherwise offended him. The highest priority felonies to Trump are opposing his authority and hurting his feelings.

Trump Floats Proposal to Pay Reparations for the January 6th Insurrectionists Who Assaulted Cops

TREASON PAYS! That’s the message that Donald Trump is blasting out loud and clear. If you are a staunch devotee of the Cult of Trump who is willing to break the law and threaten the lives of American citizens, soldiers, law enforcement officers, and congressional representatives, there is a place for you in the ranks of the StormTrumpers, a mercenary operation being run out of Trump’s White House.

Donald Trump Insurrection

This week Trump is being forced to defend himself from the scandalous allegations of Signal-Gate, wherein the most senior members of his administration were caught discussing classified information about a pending attack plan on Houthi rebels in Yemen. It was a blatant breach of national security protocol that could have cost the lives of soldiers, and may yet still be found to have compromised United States intelligence operations. And it was so badly mangled that even Fox News struggled to provide their usual MAGA-fied spin.

Exacerbating the level of chaos that ceaselessly swirls around the Trump regime, Dear Leader himself tossed the latest clump of kindling onto his bonfire of catastrophe. In yet another sickly sweet “interview” on a friendly MAGA media outlet, Trump made a bit news when asked by Newsmax host, Greg Kelly, if he was contemplating reparations for his January 6th insurrectionists who stormed the Capitol and put about 140 police officers in the hospital. Referring to his pardoning of more than 1,500 violent rioters, Trump boasted that “I took care of them. I said I was going to, and I did.” And then there was this exchange…

Kelly: Is there any talk of — cause they lost opportunity, they lost income — any kind of compensation fund or anything like that?
Trump: There’s talk about that. A lot of the people that are in the government now talk about it because a lot of the people in government really like that group of people. They were patriots as far as I was concerned. I talk about them a lot. They were treated very unfairly.

Trump says he's looking at setting up some sort of government "compensation fund" for the January 6 criminals that he pardoned

Oh great! It’s not enough that Trump let violent rioters who attacked the Capitol and assaulted cops go free. He’s not satisfied with indemnifying the thugs who caused millions of dollars in damage, and hunted members of Congress, and sought to hang his vice-president. Now he wants to pay them for their service to the Dark Lord.

Trump is sending a crystal clear message to any other MAGA goons out there that they don’t have to worry about suffering any legal consequences for their barbaric political plundering. What’s more, they can even profit from their callously criminal behavior. Trump is, in effect, forming a gang of mercenaries that he will arrange to be remunerated by American taxpayers to perform his acts of vengeance and sabotage, in pursuit of his mission to reign supreme as America’s first dictator.

This should scare the bejeebus out of every true American patriot who cherishes the Constitution and the principles of freedom that are protected by that document. The fact that Trump thinks that the people who smashed their way into the Capitol in order to obstruct the validation of a free and fair election deserve a payday for their treachery is incomprehensibly grotesque. That he would even consider rewarding such betrayal, and the undermining democracy, is nauseating.

Unfortunately, however, for Trump it isn’t surprising. This is consistent with his totalitarian intentions to grab power for himself, and to oppress any and all patriots who seek to preserve American liberty. Even if that means bankrolling an army of mercenaries to take the nation’s institutions by force. It’s already happening at the administrative level with Trump’s Department of Government Elimination (DOGE). He must not be allowed to expand his authoritarian aspirations into a more military role.

Trump Plants His Personal Lawyer, Alina Habba, in New Jersey as US Attorney – to Hide His Crimes?

The rap sheet on Donald Trump is long and troubling. He has already been convicted of 34 felonies, and 54 more have been delayed due to his reoccupation of the White House. And that isn’t even counting the civil litigation that he has lost having to do with everything from his fraudulent charities, to financial misconduct, to sexual abuse, and more.

Donald Trump, Prison

Despite his penchant for incompetence, Trump has managed to effectively manipulate the legal process in order to avoid accountability for his multitude of crimes. As a result, he has largely escaped the consequences that any other criminal would face. So much for the American principle of no one being above the law. And yet, he is still whining about the situation that he has corruptly maneuvered to his advantage.

SEE THIS: WHINE, WHINE, WHINE! Convicted Felon Trump Clings to Fox News Legal Hacks at Sentencing Hearing

Trump’s latest move to shield him from the justice that he deserves is his appointment of Alina Habba to be the interim U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey. Habba has served as Trump’s personal lawyer and/or spokesperson in several cases, including the Stormy Daniels election fraud (“hush money”) case and the E. Jean Carrol sexual abuse and defamation case case. In the former Habba lost, costing Trump an $88 million settlement. In the latter she lost, costing him a whopping $450 million.

So naturally, Trump is now promoting her from his White House counsel to U.S. Attorney. Never mind that she has zero experience as a prosecutor. She never had the experience required for her other posts under Trump either. He just likes her because she’s a pretty face who likes to spend her days exalting him on Fox News. In his announcement that he posted on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, he said that…

“It is with great pleasure that I am announcing Alina Habba, Esq., who is currently serving as Counselor to the President, and has represented me for a long time, will be our interim U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey.”

The key part of that announcement is Trump’s admission that Habba “has represented me for a long time.” It is extraordinarily uncommon for a president to put his personal lawyer into a federal prosecutor’s position. The conflict of interest could not be more obvious. And Habba herself affirms that improper association in her response…

“As you know, I’ve stood by President Trump, his family, the organization, and many other clients in that state where I’ve been born and raised, and I’m raising my babies now, but there is corruption, there is injustice, and there is a heavy amount of crime right in Cory Booker’s backyard and right under Governor Murphy, and that will stop. I look forward to working with Pam Bondi, with the Department of Justice, and making sure that we further the president’s agenda.”

Having “stood by the president and his family” is not a qualification for an unbiased federal prosecutor. Nor is “further[ing] the president’s agenda.” What’s more, Habba is parroting Trump’s penchant for pathological lying with her characterizations of crime in New Jersey. According to U.S. News and World Report, the state ranks 5th nationally for crime. And recent studies show that it is improving from there.

It is also notable that Habba engages in brazen politicization of her new office. The only names she mentions in her statement are those of Democrats Gov. Phil Murphy and Sen. Cory Booker, both of whom she maligns without any substantive justification. That is not a harbinger of fair treatment going forward from a notoriously partisan legal hack.

Trump can rest assured that Habba will never investigate any potential violations of the law committed by Trump. That’s certainly one of the main reasons he appointed her to the post in New Jersey, where he owns a golf resort, and where it has been reported that he stored some of the classified documents that he stole from the White House.

Trump is clearly fortifying the legal bunker that he has built around himself. And Habba will work closely with Trump’s Attorney General, Pam Bondi, and his FBI Director, Kash Patel, to block any legal motions against him, while simultaneously pursuing vindictive, meritless actions against his political foes. It’s the very same path to dictatorship that was blazed by Trump’s totalitarian heroes.
