Trump is APPALLED that Fox News Reported on Tom Steyer, a Candidate for Governor of California

Poor crybaby Donald Trump is very upset by Fox News reporting on the governor’s race in California. Well, he’s only upset by part of it. Apparently Trump thinks that Fox News should only be covering Republican candidates for governor. And even then, only the MAGA candidate that he endorsed.

On Wednesday morning Trump was busy performing what he thinks are his presidential duties: Watching Fox News and posting asinine comments on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social. Never mind that there is a war going on in Iran that has spread through the Middle East. Or that the U.S. economy is tanking. Or that his approval ratings are in the toilet as the midterm election is approaching.

Rather than addressing the critical issues that the American people are most interested in, Trump was raging over what he regards as an atrocity committed by his Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News. Trump pounded out a furious rant concerning something he just saw on Fox about the California governor’s race…

“Why is FoxNews showing SLEAZEBAG Tom Steyer, doing a big piece on him right now, and probably putting him ‘into play,’ instead of talking about Republican Candidates, and really good ones like Steve Hilton, and Republicans? How can a Republican expect to win that State, with their Mail In Voting and Rigged Elections, when you have FoxNews promoting the Democrats? Nobody cares about Tom Steyer, he is a LOSER, but Fox is making it possible for a guy like this to win. VOTE FOR STEVE HILTON, AND TURN CALIFORNIA AROUND! President DONALD J. TRUMP”

OMG! Fox News actually did a story that included a Democratic candidate for governor of California? How could they? After all, Tom Steyer, according to Trump, is just a “SLEAZEBAG” and a “LOSER” and “nobody cares” about him. Which are all facets of character that Trump knows well due to all them being core parts of his own character.

Trump’s assertion that nobody cares about Steyer flies in the face of reality as he is currently leading in the polls for all candidates – Democratic and Republican – running in the upcoming primary. And Trump’s claim that Fox News put Steyer “into Play.” ignores Steyer’s $120 million advertising campaign.

In Trump’s cartoon brain, Fox News is obligated to only do stories about Republicans, and only about Trump if they can swing it. So he whines that Fox should have been reporting on the GOP candidate, Steve Hilton, who happens to be a former Fox News contributor. What a coincidence.

Adding to the absurdity of Trump’s comment, Fox News had actually just done a story about Hilton less than a hour before Trump’s post. The Hilton segment was mostly vicious and false anti-Steyer ranting. The “big piece” about Steyer that rattled Trump wasn’t much more than a mention of his fundraising and his standing in the polls along with the other candidates. And it also contained some swipes at Steyer’s rational immigration proposals that Trump and the GOP regard as radical leftist policies.

Finally, Trump also had to throw in a dig at “Mail In Voting and Rigged Elections” as the reason he thinks that Republicans can’t win in California. Of course it couldn’t have anything to do with their radical right policies that Californians abhor, could it? Also, someone should remind Trump of Arnold Schwarzenegger, who managed to overcome the election rigging and win two terms as governor.

If Trump really thinks that Fox News viewers are going to be persuaded to vote for Steyer given the negative reports they put on the air, he is dumber than we thought. Likewise, putting more of Hilton on isn’t going to help him with the vast majority of California’s voters who don’t watch Fox News. But if whining on Truth Social makes Trump feel better and keeps him from doing greater harm with his wars, his economic fiascoes, and his relentless breaches of law and morality, then let him go ahead and do that. Like all babies, it’s best to keep his attention focused on trivial distractions.

BLAME AMERICA FIRST: Fox News Attacks U.S. in Response to Reports of Russian Election Interference

Ever since Donald Trump became a candidate for political office, he has had the distinction and disgrace of garnering support from shady characters affiliated with some of America’s most virulent enemies. In both 2016 and 2020, Trump’s campaigns were aided by his pal and idol, Vladimir Putin, who took an active role in efforts to undermine American democracy.

The 2024 presidential election is expected to have some of those same nefarious players on Trump’s team. Their unambiguous purpose is to bolster Trump’s electoral aspirations, while torpedoing Kamala Harris with slanderous lies and wholly fabricated allegations. Since they can’t find anything honest and substantive to criticize her for, they resort to pure fiction and fear mongering.

On Wednesday reports emerged about Russia’s continuing efforts to interfere in American elections. However, these latest reports reveal that the U.S. government is doing something affirmative about it. As reported by MSNBC…

“The Biden administration is taking a series of actions to target what they allege are Russian-backed actors to manipulate public opinion here in the U.S. ahead of the presidential election, according to two senior U.S, officials. […]

“[Ken Dilanian:] This is being described as a whole of government action designed to target Russian propaganda and disinformation aimed at interfering in the 2024 election. It’s said to include sanctions by the Treasury Department, law enforcement action by the Justice Department, and one of the focuses is on [Russian-funded propaganda network] RT [that] was tagged back in 2017 as a vehicle for Russian disinformation and election interference. And at that time the government required RT to register as a foreign agent.”

This news isn’t exactly groundbreaking because we know that Russia has been doing this for years, with the knowledge, approval, and even coordination with the Trump camp and the GOP. But what makes it even worse is that our foreign foes and their domestic flunkies are aided and abetted by Fox News. When Fox reported these actions by the U.S. against Russia’s interference in our election, their hosts, Harris Faulkner and Steve Hilton, wasted no time in deflecting blame from Russia and casting it on America (video below)….

Faulkner: Just this hour we can confirm that the Biden administration plans to accuse Russia of a sustained effort to influence the 2024 presidential election. And that it will do so using state-run media and other online platforms to target U.S. voters with disinformation. It’s expected that the U.S. will make a series of moves today to address those issues. Talk to me. Why is that suddenly a concern now?
Hilton: That’s the truth about all of this in this world that we live in today, which is you have Iran doing this, you have China doing this, and frankly, we do it to other countries as well. […] Yet, just at this time, the Biden-Harris administration raises the specter once again of Russian interference. […]
Faulkner: That’s such a great question. And it’s contextually very important. We have 51 intelligence agents agree to the fact that the Hunter Biden laptop wasn’t real.

Rather than express outrage that Russia is once again trying to undermine American democracy, Faulkner’s immediate reaction was to cast suspicion on the U.S. for doing something about it. As if taking action while the election is in progress and vulnerable to Russia’s tactics is in itself evil. And she reaches back to the irrelevant matter of Hunter Biden’s laptop. Which, by the way, no one ever said wasn’t real. They only said that the hype surrounding it was generated by Russian trolls. Which is true.

Hilton went further down the “Blame America” trail to accuse the FBI, the CIA, and the Department of Justice of being “totally biased and in the tank and trying to stop Donald Trump from being elected.” Then the two of them continued saying that…

Faulkner: It also gives the left that familiar mantra of Russia, Russia, Russia. They’re not gonna concentrate on the areas where our own people fell down on protecting our elections. […]
Hilton: We cannot trust them. We need a complete clear out. They are institutionally corrupted.

So according to these treasonous cretins, evidence of Russia committing crimes against the American people is irrelevant, except as a trigger to attack the U.S. for imaginary election fraud for which they have never been able to produce any proof. In fact, their lies on the subject cost them 3/4 of billion dollars in a defamation settlement. They are so devoted to their anti-American views that they are incapable of defending the nation against foreign enemies. To the contrary, they are driven to malign the U.S. and its institutions.

That is a perspective that runs through the Republican Party and that has been nurtured by Trump’s animosity toward America and his aversion to democracy. It would make sense for the U.S. government, while slapping sanctions on Russia and its propaganda outlets like RT, to do the same with Fox News. In fact, Fox should have been labeled a foreign agent many years ago.

Snowflake Giuliani Lashes Out at Fox News with Bizarre Lawsuit Threat

While the nation is focused intensely on the impeachment of Donald Trump, his personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, is struggling with issues of his own. And it isn’t just that he’s the subject of three criminal investigations that have the potential to put in prison for the rest of his life. Giuliani is now at war with one of his primary client’s staunchest defenders – Fox News.

Steve hilton is a weekend host on Fox News and one of the most eager Trump-fluffers on a network crawling them. Trump frequently posts video clips of Hilton’s drooling homages to Trump on Twitter. He’s done so twenty-two times this year. And each one of them show Hilton delivering glassy-eyed, pro-Trump monologues and discussions with equally adoring Trump sycophants. (Posted below is an example of a recent one, if you have the stomach for it).

Which makes Giuliani’s latest outrage seem all the more preposterous. Rudy lashed out at Hilton for remarks he made that were indeed somewhat less than flattering. The comments came even as Trump himself was gingerly trying to put some distance between himself and his smarmy lawyer whose dealings with Ukraine are being scrutinized by the feds. Hilton said in part that…

“There’s a swamp going on with the commercial interest of Rudy Giuliani… He’s going around trying to make business deals out of the Ukraine situation, at the same time as acting for his client, President Trump. He’s trying to make money off his relationship with President Trump.”

When Trump was asked about these matters, he told reporters that they would have to “talk to Rudy.” Which is a typical dodge that Trump uses when he’s about to shove someone under an oncoming bus. Hilton’s commentary actually contained some pretty tame criticisms for behavior that could possibly make Giuliani a felon. But Giuliani can hardly attack Trump, so went after Hilton instead:

So Rudy is considering suing Fox News? That would be interesting. How would Trump’s State TV network respond to being sued by his personal attorney? Could Trump continue to appear on Fox while his lawyer is suing them? And you have to wonder what lawyers Giuliani was referring to as having advised him that he could sue Fox. After all, he is a lawyer himself who is often on Fox. And his closest legal associates are, like him, TV lawyers who have little litigation experience. They are people like Mark Levin and Gregg Jarrett and Jay Sekulow – all regulars on Fox News, the network that is the target of Giuliani’s litigation threat.

Time will tell where this goes. In all likelihood Giuliani will forget about it before long. Like his easily triggered client, Giuliani is prone to lunatic outbursts in the heat of anger. But they rarely lead to anything, because they rarely have any substance behind them. Still, the circular firing squad formation that forms among these toy soldiers is fun to watch.
