FOX NEWS PASTOR: ‘Trump Has a Better Understanding of What the Bible Teaches than the Pope’

From its inception the MAGA movement led by Donald Trump was more of a religious crusade, or more accurately a cult, than it was a political group. Trump had no political ideology to speak of. He just latched unto whatever shallow notions he thought he could exploit at the time.

Donald Trump Messiah

Trump behaves like a self-appointed messianic figure who claims infallibility and demands unflinching loyalty. He descended from a golden escalator to bestow his decrees of deceit and fear unto a willingly gullible flock of followers. He assembled a congregation of media cardinals to preach his vulgarian gospel. And sadly, he’s had some success at twisting weak minds.

SEE THIS: Trump Proudly Hypes a Poll that Shows His MAGA-tists are Mindless Members of a Totalitarian Cult

On Saturday Trump was, as usual, cavorting with his wealthy pals at a golf tournament being held at his own course in Miami. But his ministers were at their pulpits on Fox News delivering their sermons. For instance, maga-church pastor Robert Jeffress was interviewed on Fox News Live about Trump’s dust up with the Pope over his “little excursion” to Iran (video below)…

“I think it’s commendable that the Trump administration is meeting with the Pope and trying to work with the Pope. The Pope is a good man. He’s sincere in his faith, but he is sincerely wrong when it comes to Iran. The Pope ought to know, and I think he does know, God created both the church and government for two distinct purposes. The role of the church is to point people to faith in Jesus Christ, but the role of government is to protect citizens from evildoers, according to Romans 13.

First of all, Jeffress needs to refresh himself on the text of Romans 13. It doesn’t say that the role of government is to “protect citizens from evildoers.” It says that people must submit to the authorities because they are ordained by god. Although Republicans reject that scriptural law if the authorities happen to be Democrats. What’s more, in America the authorities are ordained by the people through elections. But Republicans ignore that constitutional law if it means relinquishing power.

More to the point, Jeffress offers his praise for Trump for sending Marco Rubio to the Vatican to clean up the mess Trump made by lying that the Pope wants Iran to have nuclear weapons. Also, there is no evidence that Trump is “trying to work with the Pope,” who advocates for peace, while Trump is a recidivist war monger. Jeffress continued…

“And look, 3 days after this conflict began, I was in the Oval Office with president Trump and a few other faith leaders, and he told us that Iran was within weeks of getting a powerful weapon that would destroy Israel, much of the Middle East, and could bring great harm to America. And he had no choice but to act. And I thanked him then for having the courage to fulfill his god-given responsibility to protect our nation. And you know the great irony is that it looks like president Trump has a better understanding of what the bible teaches about the role of government than the Pope has.”

Jeffress eagerly believed Trump when he told him that “Iran was within weeks of getting a powerful weapon.” Of course, Trump was lying. Trump’s war against Iran was entirely his choice. And it has gone straight downhill from there, as Iran has maintained their control of the region. The result has been a severe blow the world economy and the economic welfare of the American people.

However, perhaps the most preposterous comment Jeffress made in this interview was that “Trump has a better understanding of what the bible teaches about the role of government than the Pope has.” In order to believe that you would have to accept that the bible teaches that it is righteous to commit war crimes, cheat on multiple wives, engage in pedophilia, grift billions through felony fraud, persecute immigrants, and deny food and healthcare to the needy. You know, all the things that Trump does.

Something tells me that the Pope is better role model and representative of biblical teachings than the sociopath currently occupying the White House.

Trump-fluffer Robert Jeffries is a phony Fox News "pastor" who believes that the bible teaches…? Committing war crimes? Cheating on multiple wives? Engaging in pedophilia? Grifting billions through felony fraud? Persecuting immigrants? Denying food and healthcare to the needy.

SUNDOWNING? Trump’s Acute Paranoia Now Extends to His Own White House Staff and Cabinet

The escalating severity of Donald Trump’s psychoses is presenting the nation and the world with unprecedented risks and challenging options for addressing them. While he has always been a malignant narcissist and pathological liar, he is now exhibiting signs of even more dangerous mental impairments that threaten to undermine American democracy.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Trump Fear

Exacerbating Trump’s declining emotional trauma are the polls showing him at record lows. Those abysmal numbers apply to his overall approval, as well as his handling of virtually every issue of significance to the American people, including the war in Iran, tariffs, healthcare, Social Security, housing, and the economy. And yet he is glaringly delusional as to his standing with the public.

SEE THIS: Trump is APPALLED that Nobody is Talking About a CNN Poll With 100% Approval – That Doesn’t Exist

This week it became even more obvious how grave Trump’s descent into madness is. He has developed a debilitating case of paranoia. He is suspicious of everyone with whom he comes in contact. And he is convinced that everyone from journalists, to comedians, to politicians, and even his own staff, are plotting to destroy him. But there may be some truth to the old adage that “Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean everybody isn’t out to get you.”

One particularly revealing example is that Trump’s Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, just distributed a memo threatening the entire White House staff to refrain from leaking anything to the press. She wrote that…

“No staff member within the Executive Office of the President is permitted to speak with members of the news media without the explicit approval of the White House Communications Office. […] Unauthorized leaks will not be tolerated and are subject to sanction up to and including termination.”

In a hilarious feast of irony, that email was, of course, instantly leaked to the press. Apparently there are moles in the White House. And among them are likely to be Wiles and Trump himself. The Wiles threat memo is a blatant contradiction of the claims by Trump’s communications staff that he is the most transparent president ever. To the contrary, he may be the most secretive. Although he preens before the media scrum with uncommon frequency, that can’t be described as transparency if all he does is lie and dodge. For instance, Trump still refuses to release all of the unredacted Epstein files.

What’s more, Wiles decrees that “Unauthorized leaks will not be tolerated.” So then only “authorized leaks” will be allowed? Another way of saying “authorized leaks” is “propaganda.” And the press really should stop disseminating it.

The paranoid state of Trump appears to be serving as a role model for his Cabinet. Last week Trump’s FBI boss, Kash Patel was so outraged by a critical article written about him that he launched an investigation of the author, Sarah Fitzpatrick, and ordered polygraph tests of his senior staff and security detail.

MORE HERE: Trump’s FBI Boss, Kash Patel, Goes After the Reporter Who Exposed Him as an Incompetent Lush

There are additional examples of Trump regime paranoia in his “Justice” Department, where he has directed his Attorneys General (first Pam Bondi and now Todd Blanche) to initiate probes and indictments of anyone who was ever affiliated with an investigation of Trump’s criminal activities, including James Comey, John Brennan, Jerome Powell, Letitia James, and even several members of Congress. He has also orchestrated a massive purge of DoJ lawyers, crippling the Department’s ability to engage in efficient law enforcement.

And through it all, Trump remains focused on the issues that have always mattered most to him – Himself! Although his incompetent attempts at self-exaltation continue to be more humiliating than complimentary…

Trump's post is from a month old poll by the ultra right-wing Napolitan News Service (aka Rasmussen). The question is absurd. Nobody wants Iran to have nukes. In a more recent Napolitan poll, "Only 34% of voters favored the attacks on Iran, while 59% opposed them."

ABC Accuses Trump’s Fascist Communications Commission (FCC) of Violating the First Amendment

The ongoing crusade by Donald Trump to erase all remnants of the Constitution, and particularly it’s First Amendment protections of freedom of the press, is perhaps the most prominent and dangerous feature of his MAGA cult movement. His authoritarian aspirations, and fear of the tenets of democracy, are the driving factors in his relentless pursuit of power.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Constitution

To that end, Trump has been directing his Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to adopt profoundly disturbing new rules regarding “Equal Time” as a means to quash any criticism he receives on television from talk show hosts and their guests. His unambiguous aim is to assume total control over what the American people are permitted to see and hear on TV and other media.

SEE THIS: Trump’s FCC Threatens to Change ‘Equal Time’ Rules to Suppress the Free Speech of Trump Critics

The latest skirmish in Trump’s War on America comes from an unlikely combatant. ABC News, the producer of “The View” has announced that it is challenging the attempts by Trump’s FCC to dictate what they are allowed to say and who they are allowed to interview. This comes after Trump’s FCC Chairman, Brendan Carr, threatened the show and the network with revoking the licenses of their affiliate stations. According to the New York Times

“ABC has accused the Federal Communications Commission of violating its free speech rights, potentially setting the stage for a protracted, high-stakes legal battle between the network and the Trump administration.

“The company said in a filing with the agency that regulators had a ‘chilling effect’ on free speech by trying to punish political content they disagreed with. The filing, made public on Friday, is the most aggressive defense from any television network since President Trump kicked off an extended campaign last year to bring media organizations to heel.”

What makes ABC’s stance surprising is that they previously capitulated to Trump when he filed a meritless defamation lawless in December 2024. ABC agreed to settle for what amounts to a $15 million bribe in order to kiss up to the Tyrant-in-Chief.

MORE HERE: TRUMP WINS? ABC News Settles His Lawsuit Confirming that He Was Found Liable for Sexual Abuse

The Equal Time rules have been in place for decades. And throughout that time there have been exceptions for bona fide newsworthy interviews. But Trump’s notoriously fragile ego has pushed him to take vengeance on his critics and to stifle them any way that he can. The intentions of Trump and his neo-fascist FCC are to smother his critics entirely. It is not by coincidence that the Trump regime isn’t going after any right-wing programs or other MAGA media.

Furthermore, their timing is conspicuously close to the midterm elections that Trump is terrified of losing. Those predicted losses will significantly diminish his power and make him vulnerable to real congressional oversight. And Trump will do anything to avoid being held accountable for his multitude of crimes. Including muzzling the free press in an egregious breach of the Constitution.

Trump Threatens to Charge Hakeem Jeffries with Inciting Violence for What a Trump Staffer Said

The politicization of the “Justice” Department under Donald Trump is accelerating as his poll numbers sink to new record lows. It’s clear that Trump is lashing out more furiously at his political foes as the risk of his losing power becomes more imminent and less possible for him to ignore.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Twitter

Since his second occupation of the White House began, Trump has sought to prosecute members of Congress for reminding soldiers that they are legally obligated to disobey unlawful orders. He has had several critics indicted on phony charges of mortgage fraud. He is persecuting former FBI Director James Comey over some seashells that spelled out “8647.” In just the past week Trump’s legal inquisition has launched campaigns against Louise Lucas, a Democratic state representative who led the redistricting effort in Virginia, and a journalist who documented the dangerously erratic behavior of Trump’s FBI director, Kash Patel.

SEE THIS: Trump’s FBI Boss, Kash Patel, Goes After the Reporter Who Exposed Him as an Incompetent Lush

On Thursday morning Trump was busy conducting what he believes is his highest priority presidential duty: posting lies, self-exaltations, and offensive memes on his dedicated propaganda platform, Truth Social. Among his latest online outbursts was one wherein he called for the criminal prosecution of the Democratic Leader in the House of Representatives, Hakeem Jeffries. Trump posted his racist rage that Jeffries replied to in much more diplomatic – and sane – manner…

“This lunatic, Hakeem ‘Low IQ’ Jeffries, should be charged with INCITING VIOLENCE! The Radical Left Democrats actually want to Destroy our Country. President DJT”

Notice that Trump is trying to associate Jeffries’ remarks with the the shooting at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner last month. It isn’t the first time that Trump has tried to exploit that event for selfish reasons. But on this occasion he is going even farther off the edge by threatening criminal prosecution.

What’s worse is that Trump is misrepresenting what Jeffries said. The reference to “maximum warfare” was made by Jeffries in response to Trump urging his MAGA Republicans in Texas and elsewhere to conduct unprecedented mid-census redistricting in order to steal congressional seats from Democrats. It was not remotely related to violence. Jeffries said that…

“We are in an era of maximum warfare, everywhere, all the time. And we are going to keep the pressure on Republicans at every single state in the union, to ensure at the end of the day, that there is a fair, national map. Because we believe that it is the people who should decide who is in the majority in the next Congress. Not Donald Trump and MAGA extremists.”

However, Jeffries was not the author of that “maximum warfare” language. It was first used by a Trump White House staffer. Jeffries was deliberately throwing it back in the face of the Trump regime that frequently employs blatantly hostile rhetoric. It fact, much more so as revealed in study by Trump’s own Justice Department.

As reported by the New York Times in August 2025, “One person close to the president, who insisted on anonymity to describe the White House’s political strategy, candidly, summed it up succinctly: ‘Maximum warfare, everywhere, all the time.'” So Trump’s meme is blaming Jeffries for what his own staffer said. Should Democrats call for that staffer to be prosecuted?

In Trump’s defense, it’s possible that he has no idea where the phrase – or the meme quoting it – came from. He’s too mentally impaired to assume that he has that sort of comprehension. However, his minions surely know and they allow him to post these lies. Even though it affirms his aspirations of authoritarian control wherein he incarcerates anyone who is less than unflinchingly worshipful.

On the other hand, Trump posted another meme Thursday morning that is more along the lines of the psychoses he suffers from…

Trump is STILL OBSESSED with the Democrats that haunt his nightmares. So he posts a dishonest and offensive cartoon attacking Biden, Obama, and Clinton.Meanwhile, the American people continue to struggle to make ends meet, while Trump is the one sleeping on the job.

Trump’s FBI Boss, Kash Patel, Goes After the Reporter Who Exposed Him as an Incompetent Lush

The vengeance driven retribution campaign of Donald Trump and company has been a prominent feature of his second occupation of the White House. It has placed numerous Democrats, wayward Republicans, and other critics in legal jeopardy just for daring to take honest positions in opposition to Trump and his MAGA cult movement.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Among the victims of the Trump regime’s revenge tour have been members of the media that they have attacked both civilly – by filing meritless lawsuits against news organizations – and criminally – by directing his “Justice” Department to prosecute journalists on blatantly phony charges. Most recently Trump’s FBI director, Kash Patel, followed his master’s lead by suing The Atlantic over a story that revealed him to be an incompetent administrator with a serious drinking problem.

SEE THIS: FBI Director Kash Patel Tells Fox News He’s Filing a Lawsuit Over Allegations of His Drinking

The Atlantic’s story profiled Patel’s unseemly behavior, alleging that “He is erratic, suspicious of others, and prone to jumping to conclusions before he has necessary evidence.” And that “The problems with his conduct…include both conspicuous inebriation and unexplained absences.”

Shortly after the article was published, Patel announced on Fox News that he was filing a $250 million defamation lawsuit. But as it turns out, that’s not the only overt act of retaliation that he’s taking. As reported by MS NOW, Patel’s FBI is going after the reporter…

“FBI agents are probing the reporter who wrote a detailed story of Patel’s alleged heavy drinking and erratic behavior.” […]

“The journalist, Sarah Fitzpatrick, cited two dozen anonymous sources in a detailed story reporting that Patel’s alcohol consumption and erratic behavior had caused deep concern among FBI officials. Patel was known to drink to the point of intoxication, she reported, adding that on occasion his security detail had trouble waking him in the morning.”

MS NOW’s reporting noted that such an investigation of Fitzpatrick “could be used by FBI agents to obtain her phone records, run her name and information through FBI databases and examine her social media contacts.” And The Atlantic’s editor-in-chief, Jeffrey Goldberg, responded by saying that, “If true, this would be an outrageous, illegal, and dangerous attack on the free press and the First Amendment.”

Indeed. Siccing the FBI on a journalist who wrote a critical article could not be a more egregious breach of the Constitution’s protection of the free press. It’s the sort of thing one might expect of a totalitarian regime like the ones in Russia or North Korea that Trump idolizes and seeks to emulate. But in America it would be a criminal abuse of power that could land Patel in prison.

An FBI spokesperson has denied that any investigation of Fitzpatrick was underway. But given the credibility of statements issued by Trump, or anyone in is administration, it would be fair to take such denials with a pound or two of salt. On the other hand, the reporting by The Atlantic and Fitzpatrick has been impeccable and, to date, unimpeachable.

So you can make your own choice as to who to believe. The highly respected journalist with dozens of knowledgeable sources, or the guy who still says that Trump won the 2020 election, and that the Epstein files contain no evidence of any crimes, and that James Comey’s “8647” seashells were a threat to kill Trump, and that Trump declassified in his mind the documents found at Mar-a-Lago, and that Trump was exonerated of collusion with Russia by the Mueller Report, and any number of other conspiracy theories to which Patel had subscribed?

UPDATE: Following Patel’s harassment of The Atlantic’s reporter, he ordered polygraphs of his own staffers and security detail. He is scared, desperate, and suffering from acute paranoia. Which makes him a danger to democracy.

Trump is APPALLED that Nobody is Talking About a CNN Poll With 100% Approval – That Doesn’t Exist

The resting state of Donald Trump’s personality, or what passes for one, is “Unbridled Rage.” Consequently, it isn’t exactly news when he is appalled by something. But it is still useful to pay attention to precisely what absurdities are triggering the Narcissist-in-Chief.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Mocking Disability

On Monday morning Trump hosted a group of athletes and children, along with a couple of his Cabinet flunkies, at the White House to promote physical fitness. That’s a subject that Trump is almost as unqualified to discuss as mental fitness. Trump’s impairment is so noticeably bad that recent polling shows that the American people regard President Biden, who Trump has maligned as mentally incompetent, as preferable to Trump.

SEE THIS: CUE TRUMP TANTRUM: Multiple Polls Find that Most Americans Favor Biden Over Trump

In this morning’s event Trump rattled off his usual quota of lies and inanities. Many were inappropriate for his youthful guests. But one that deserves some extra attention is his preposterous claim to being so beloved by his cult followers that it was even affirmed by a poll conducted by “fake news” CNN. Trump babbled that…

I am at, according to CNN, 100% approval within the Republican Party…Did you see the CNN poll? Nobody talks about it. I think the people that did that poll probably got fired. But within the Republican Party and MAGA, which is basically 100% of the party I think,”

Trump lies: "According to CNN, I'm at 100% approval within the Republican Party"

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2026-05-05T15:49:59.081Z

There is a pretty good reason that nobody is talking about that CNN poll. It doesn’t exist. What Trump is talking about is a poll by NBC in March that found that among his MAGA devotees Trump had 100% approval. Which shouldn’t surprise anyone. It’s like finding that 100% of the pigs in a sty approve of the mud.

At least this time Trump acknowledged that the poll respondents were Republicans and MAGA. On previous occasions he cited the same poll, but left out that detail, implying that 100% of the population at large approved of him. Even so, in these new remarks Trump is still misleading by saying that MAGA “is basically 100% of the party.” Actually, in the same NBC poll they segmented the results to show that among non-MAGA Republicans, Trump’s approval was only 66%. So a third (31%) of his own party doesn’t approve of him.

MORE HERE: Trump Desperately Clings to Wildly Adoring Polls, Doesn’t Mention They Only Polled His Supporters

So what Trump said was “according to CNN,” wasn’t. And Trump flagrantly misrepresented what NBC’s poll did find. And he even imagined that CNN fired their pollsters. Never mind that virtually every recent poll shows that Trump is languishing at record lows for approval, as well as on every major issue, including Iran, the economy, immigration, etc.

No wonder Trump is so obsessed with lying about the abysmal state o of his popularity, or utter lack thereof. He is literally the most despised president in modern times. This forebodes badly for him with regard to the upcoming midterm elections. His ego simply can’t handle that rejection. So he’s feverishly trying to deceive his disciples – and, more importantly in his mind, himself.

Dementia J. Trump Furiously Denies Being Human to ‘Fake News’ ABC’s Jonathan Karl After the WHCD

The last thing that Donald Trump would ever want is for anyone to think that he might harbor human feelings of empathy or concern for others. It has become a basic tenet of the MAGA cult that values that embody compassion or kindness are signs of weakness.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump Angry

Trump proudly offers himself up as a role model for such disregard for the welfare of others. He leads by example, publicly celebrating the passing of respected Americans like Rob Reiner and Robert Mueller, referring to fallen soldiers as “suckers and losers,” and making bellicose, genocidal threats against innocent civilians in Iran, saying that “a whole civilization will die tonight” if they don’t submit to his MAGA-sterial demands. And sadly, his cult devotees follow along.

SEE THIS: Trump’s INSANE Threats and War Crimes Against Iran are Dismissed by His Acting Attorney General

In an apparent attempt to drive home this despicable persona, Trump posted a comment on his dedicated propaganda platform, Truth Social, on Monday morning that affirms his commitment to heartlessness. The comment is his refutation of an accusation that he might have actually cared briefly about the well being of someone other than himself. Trump complained that…

“Jonathan Karl, of ABC Fake News, made a statement that I called him early in the morning, the day after the assassination attempt, to ask whether or not HE was OK. No, this was a hit on ME, not HIM, and I didn’t make such a call, why would I do that? He called me, but I didn’t take his call — He just confirmed that to me when he called again. I would say that’s very dishonest reporting. He’s trying to make himself look important but, I’m not surprised, because it comes from ABC Fake News! President DONALD J. TRUMP”

Let the repulsiveness of that comment sink in for a moment. Trump is outraged that Karl reported on a phone he call he received from Trump wherein he said that Trump expressed concern for his welfare after a gunman’s attack at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner (WHCD) last week. But Trump felt compelled to insist that he never made the call or felt any concern for Karl. “Why would I,” Trump asked.

Indeed. Why would Trump ever show any concern for anyone but himself when he’s never done that before? Trump seems to think that Karl’s remarks drew attention away from Trump, which is totally intolerable. Furthermore, Trump wasn’t about to tolerate anyone thinking that he had suddenly developed the character flaw of feeling compassion.

There is also the question of who is telling the truth about the phone call. Karl reported that he received Trump’s call on the morning after the WHCD. He posted a video describing what happened during an appearance on Good Morning America the next day, saying that…

“It was president Trump calling. He said he was calling to see if I was okay. It was clear the real reason he was calling, in addition to that, was that he wanted to be sure that this dinner gets rescheduled. He knew that I had been involved in planning White House Correspondents’ Dinners. He says we have to get this done, and done soon.”

On the other hand, Trump is refuting Karl’s reporting a week after it was broadcast. What took him so long? What’s more, Trump alleges that Karl called Trump back to affirm that Trump never called him the first time. Why would Karl have done that when Trump had not yet said anything about the call at all? And for the record, as of this writing, Karl has not affirmed what Trump said that he had affirmed.

There is, of course, another reason to believe Karl’s version of events. That is that Trump is a documented pathological liar. And now we see that his psychosis is so severe that he will even lie to refute something that was said about about him that most people would consider to be a compliment. So it is abundantly clear that Trump is determined to maintain his image as a bloated windbag of hatefulness.

Crybaby Trump Whines that Fox News Hosted Bill Maher, Who Trump Has Hosted at the White House

Determined to preserve his crown as the “Most Fabulous Whiner” (his own words) to have ever occupied the White House, Donald Trump just lashed out at his own Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News, for having the audacity to interview alleged comedian Bill Maher.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Wah

The comment posted to his desperately failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, was a tediously long tirade that traversed a vast array of unrelated subjects. Trump likes to frame these incoherent rants positively as what he calls “weaving.” Which is also what they call what drunk drivers do on the highway. But Trump’s inability to focus is more representative of serious mental impairment. Which partially explains why the American people are so sick and tired of his demented antics.

SEE THIS: FLYING KETCHUP ALERT: Trump is Polling Worse than Both Biden and Carter on Inflation

The comment that Trump posted Saturday night (see below) was a typical display of the seething rage that is eating him up. It’s impossible to make any sense out of most of it, but there are a few passages that should be recognized as warnings of the psychological collapse that is already in progress. He began by saying that…

“I hate seeing Fox, and other Conservative Outlets, constantly making Low Rated Bill Maher ‘relevant’ as it pertains to the Republican Party, and beyond. Bill Maher is a weak and ineffective person who I got to know very well during my dinner with him at the White House.”

That’s right. Trump is outraged that Fox News would dare to invite Maher onto their network, even though it was okay for Trump to invite him to the White House. Trump also claims to have gotten to know Maher “very well” over a single dinner. And Trump found that Maher is “a weak and ineffective person,” and therefore requires elaborate, lengthy, and irrational rebuttals.

Never mind that Maher actually praised Trump following their dinner. He claimed to like Trump and described him as “gracious.” But any show of respect or submission to Trump is quickly forgotten if it isn’t constantly repeated and without any hint of criticism.

True to form, Trump is now lambasting Maher in terms that fail to be comprehensible. For instance, Trump said that Maher’s request for a drink upon entering the White House was both “very endearing” and “absolutely pathetic.” But then Trump switched gears to complain about Maher’s interview of California Gov. Gavin Newsom. Trump is viscerally afraid of Newsom and frequently maligns him in the childish manner that only Trump can muster. He said that…

“I happened to watch Gavin Newscum, an admittedly Low IQ person, who said he can’t read a speech, is dumb, and essentially, incompetent. […] Gavin went on and on about how good California is doing, while it’s doing very poorly, having, by far, the worst year it’s ever had.”

Of course, none of Trump’s complaints ever approached reality. Trump’s despicable and false reference to Newsom’s “admittedly Low IQ” was actually spun from Newsom’s honest and relatable revelations about his his youthful issues with dyslexia, not IQ. As for California, it is the most profitable state in the nation. It contributed about 14.5% of the total U.S. GDP in 2025. In fact, during Newsom’s governorship it has become the fourth biggest economy in the world, following the United States, China, and Germany.

Nevertheless, Trump paraded his usual litany of lies, accusing Newsom of failing with regard to homelessness, transportation, and wildfires in Los Angeles, that Trump has said he would have extinguished by turning on a giant imaginary faucet in Northern California. He really believes that water flows “downhill” from north to south.

Trump closed by blasting Fox as “weak, stupid, and ineffective” for interviewing Maher, who he also said is “slightly more talented than Jimmy Kimmel.” That’s actually a cheap, backhanded slap at Kimmel, who Trump is obsessed with, and is determined to banish from the airwaves. It will never stop being disconcerting that Trump unleashes harsher rhetoric against Kimmel and other comedians than he does against Iran, Russia, or international terrorists.

Trump posted a long tirade attacking Bill Maher and Gavin Newsom. It's a steaming pile of lies and hate. Don't bother reading it unless you have a strong stomach. But just look at it and be dumbfounded at how we got to a place where someone this deranged holds a position of power.

Trump Will Soon Regret His Flagrantly Racist Meme Calling Hakeem Jeffries a ‘Low IQ Thug’

Donald Trump has never been shy about expressing his blatantly racist views. He seeded his first presidential campaign with ludicrous allegations that Barack Obama could not be president because he was born in Kenya. And his actions throughout his time in office have been fiercely devoted to advancing the agenda of groups like the KKK, while suppressing the rights of all people of color.

Donald Trump fear

Trump’s embrace of hateful bigotry has impacted the lives of millions of Americans. His prejudices have transcended the purely racial bounds that Klan members espouse. Trump’s hatred matches the Hitlerian extremes that formed the basis for Nazi “master race” purges of minorities.

SEE THIS: Master Racist Trump Attacks America: ‘We’ve Got a Lot of Bad Genes in Our Country Right Now’

Consequently, no one should be surprised that Trump posted a grotesquely racist meme on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, that attacked the Black Democratic Leader in the House of Representatives, Hakeem Jeffries, in the most nauseating terms saying that…

“Low IQ Democrat Minority Leader, Hakeem Jeffries, is nothing but a THUG, and he is a danger to our Country!”

It is nothing new for Trump to insult his Black critics as “Low IQ.” In fact, it’s nearly automatic for him. For the record, Jeffries received a master’s degree in public policy from Georgetown University, and graduated from New York University Law magna cum laude. Trump, on the other hand, refuses to release his college records, and puts his pitifully inbred ignorance on display on a daily basis.

Even worse, Trump’s image of Jeffries in a threatening pose with a baseball bat, paired with the overtly racist gang-affiliated descriptions of him as a thug, crosses a line that should disgust every American. Trump is has an emotionally stunted psychosis that is evident every time he tries to criticize a political foe. He is completely incapable of engaging in a substantive debate among adults. And his claim that Jeffries “is a danger to our country” is the sort of rhetorical trigger that incites violence.

However, Trump is making a terrible mistake if he thinks that such behavior will benefit him. He is only making himself appear more desperate, afraid, and incompetent. And he is missing a critical political consequence of his infantile insults.

Hakeem Jeffries is very likely going to be the next Speaker of the House. Every recent poll shows that Democrats are poised to take the majority in the House this November. That doesn’t mean just that Jeffries gets a promotion. It means that he will have the authority to schedule every matter that comes before the House. It means that he will control the calendar for debating and voting on new legislation.

It also means that every committee in the House will be chaired by a Democrat. Every committee will have a majority of Democratic members. They will be able to hold hearings on matters addressing Trump’s criminal and ethical lapses. They will have the power to issue subpoenas.

In short, it means that Trump will finally be held accountable for his the multitude of crimes he has committed and his flagrant breaches of the Constitution. It will mean a return to a Congress that actually imposes checks and balances on Trump’s rogue presidency.

That’s why Trump is so scared. It’s why he is acting out in ever more deranged ways in feeble attempts to preserve his tenuous grasp on power. And as the walls close in around him, expect him to get even worse. But some part of him knows that there is nothing he can do to stop the inevitable justice that is coming.

That, however, won’t stop Trump from trying. Particularly with regard to rigging the upcoming midterm elections. So Democrats, constitutional advocates, and all Americans who cherish democracy, must be tireless in their resistance, and vigilant in their defense of American principles. Hang in there, people. There is only six more months to go.

Fox News Loses Bid to Halt Gavin Newsom’s Defamation Lawsuit for Knowingly Spreading Trump Lies

The mission of Fox News to act as the Ministry of Propaganda for Donald Trump has produced some of the most blatantly dishonest “reporting” ever published by a media outlet. The network shamelessly defends whatever Trump does no matter how bizarre or unlawful, and regurgitates whatever he says without regard to his deliberate diversions from reality.

Donald Trump and Gavin Newsom

As a result of Fox’s abandonment of any shred of journalistic ethics, they were forced to settle a defamation lawsuit with Dominion Voting systems for a whopping $787 million dollars. It might be reasonable to assume that that sort of penalty would dissuade Fox News from repeating their deceitful practices. But to Fox News that’s just the cost of doing their brand of disreputable business. And just a couple of years later they were at it again…

SEE THIS: Gov. Gavin Newsom is Suing Fox News for $787 Million for Lying About a Phone Call with Trump

That’s right, California Gov. Newsom filed a defamation lawsuit against Fox News seeking precisely the same amount in damages from Fox as they settled for in the Dominion case. It all stems from an episode wherein Jesse Watters – the undisputed stupidest man on Fox News – flagrantly lied about an alleged phone call between Newsom and Trump.

Newsom’s case revolves around a Trump claim that Trump called Newsom to tell him that he was “doing a bad job” handling protests against ICE, and that “Los Angeles would be burning” if he had not deployed the National Guard. However, not only did Trump never deliver that message, he never even made that phone call.

Undeterred by the truth, Watters played an edited clip of Trump’s claims and asked, “Why would Newsom lie and claim Trump never called him?” The show also displayed a chyron that said “Gavin Lied About Trump’s Call.” Those were the words of Watters making an allegedly factual representation of what took place. But the record is clear that Newsom wasn’t the one that was lying about the call. And that was even confirmed in Watters’ own segment where he displayed a screenshot of Trump’s actual call history.

In other words, Watters and Fox News were lying – again. Newsom gave them a formal opportunity to retract their lies and apologize, which they refused to do. So Newsom followed through with his promise to sue for defamation. And this week Fox News got some bad news about their efforts to have the lawsuit dismissed…

“Gov. Gavin Newsom scored a small legal victory in his defamation case against Fox News and host Jesse Watters, as a Delaware judge ruled that his &787 million lawsuit can move forward.

“‘Looking forward to discovery,’ the California governor responded Thursday in an X post.”

“Judge Sean P. Lugg found it ‘reasonably conceivable’ that Fox intentionally pushed false claims about Newsom when accusing him of lying about a phone call with Donald Trump during protests in Los Angeles.”

Newsom is right to be looking forward to the discovery process. That was how Dominion found a multitude of incriminating evidence against Fox News, including emails and other communications that revealed the dishonesty of Fox hosts Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Laura Ingraham, and others, who were caught admitting to lying about Trump. It would be safe to bet that there is more such evidence that could be acquired in Newsom’s case.

Tucker Carlson was fired shortly after Fox settled with Dominion. Maybe Watters should be updating his resumé. And while Newsom may not take this case to trial (Fox will most likely settle), it could prove to be a bonanza for media analysts eager to learn more about the inner workings of the ultra-rightist, Trump-fluffing network.

Unfortunately, what develops from this case will most likely, once again, fail to reign in Fox’s lies and propaganda. That’s pretty much the whole business model of Fox News. Which is something that they have in common with Trump.
