Trump Whines that the January 6th Committee Won’t Investigate Pelosi and Imaginary Voter Fraud

Donald Trump is on a “sleazebag” jag, calling everyone what he knows that he is. On Wednesday it was CNN president, Jeff Zucker. Today it’s all of the members of the House Select Committee (that he refers to childishly as the “Unselect” Committee) investigating the January 6th insurrection.

In the past Trump has thrown the “sleazebag” label at Republican Sen. Ben Sasse, Rep. Jerry Nadler, FBI Director James Comey, and Chief of Staff of the Department of Homeland Security (and author of the notorious “Anonymous” exposé), Miles Taylor. He uses this all-purpose epithet so frequently because he has the vocabulary of seven year old.

On this occasion Trump was venting his outrage at the bipartisan January 6th Committee because he is writhing in fear of the progress they are making accumulating documents and testimony that could lead to indictments for his many crimes. Trump began his tweeted rant saying that…

“Why isn’t the corrupt Unselect Committee of political hacks and highly partisan sleazebags in Washington investigating the massive voter fraud and irregularities that took place in the 2020 Presidential Election, rather than spending all of its time investigating those who were protesting its result? It was the Crime of the Century! Large-scale proof of fraud and serious irregularities exist all over the place.”

If there were “massive voter fraud and irregularities” in the 2020 Election, and “Large-scale proof of fraud,” why hasn’t Trump or his legal team produced any of the evidence after more than a year and sixty court cases? Maybe because there isn’t any such evidence. To the contrary. there is abundant evidence of his guilt, some which he is providing himself. Trump also asked…

“Why is Crazy Nancy Pelosi and her files, which reportedly have been largely destroyed and deleted, not under investigation for not properly securing the Capitol with Soldiers or the National Guard that were strongly recommended to her by me and others?”

Trump’s assertion that Pelosi “refused” his recommendation to call out the National Guard has been debunked repeatedly for more than a year. Not only is Trump’s claim false, he actually ignored the violence at the Capitol for 187 minutes while Pelosi, Sen. Chuck Schumer, GOP minority leader Kevin McCarthy, Vice-President Mike Pence, and even several Fox News hosts desperately pleaded for Trump to call off his marauding mob. Three hours later he finally released a video asking them ever so gently to go home and telling them that they were special and he loved them.

Of course, Trump concluded by insisting that he wasn’t “responsible for anything,” as he always does. For the guy who sat behind the Oval Office desk where the “buck” is famously said to stop, Trump rejects any responsibility for the harm he’s done to the nation as result of his negligence, incompetence, and deliberate malfeasance. But the American people know who is to blame.

World Class Sleazebag? Trump is Projecting Again with Asinine Assault on CNN’s Jeff Zucker

The petty vengefulness of Donald Trump is one of his most glaring personality flaws. He will lash out thunderously at anyone that he perceives as being insufficiently worshipful. It doesn’t matter if his victim is a long-time foe or a devoted ally. Trump’s mouth-foaming fury is unleashed without regard for reason at the slightest hint of criticism.

On Wednesday Trump took to Twitter (via his Twitter ban defying spokes-shill) to lambaste Jeff Zucker, the president of CNN Worldwide. It was just announced that Zucker is resigning from that post due to his not having disclosed a personal relationship with one of the network’s executives. Trump got a cheap thrill from this news and released a typically infantile statement saying that…

“Jeff Zucker, a world-class sleazebag who has headed ratings and real-news-challenged CNN for far too long, has been terminated for numerous reasons, but predominantly because CNN has lost its way with viewers and everybody else. Now is a chance to put Fake News in the backseat because there may not be anything more important than straightening out the horrendous LameStream Media in our Country, and in the case of CNN, throughout the World. Jeff Zucker is gone—congratulations to all!”

If anyone should refrain from calling other people a “world-class sleazebag” it’s Donald Trump. The twice impeached, thrice married, pussy grabbing, charity scamming, business bankrupting, pathologically lying, racist, really has too many open sores to be pointing out the scratches on others.

Naturally, Trump’s tirade is drenched in spiteful lies. For starters, Zucker was not “terminated.” He resigned. And his resignation at this time was not for “numerous reasons.” It was solely over the undisclosed relationship. What’s more, Zucker had actually announced his resignation a year ago, saying that he would leave by the end of 2021. He later extended that when CNN’s parent corporation, AT&T, agreed to spin off WarnerMedia (of which CNN is a part) in a deal with Discovery Communications. Zucker then said he would stay until the deal closed, which is expected to be in the 2nd quarter of 2022. So he only had another couple of months to go anyway.

Nevertheless, Trump’s gleefulness over Zucker’s slightly early departure couldn’t be contained. That’s partly due to his relationship with Zucker that dates back to when Zucker headed NBC while Trump’s “The Apprentice” was on the air. But due to his flaming hatred for CNN – and the media in general – Trump soured on Zucker long ago.

Trump closing his rant with “congratulations” suggests that he thinks Zucker will be replaced by someone who will run CNN more like Fox News. Of course that would mean someone like the late Fox News CEO Roger Ailes, who was fired for his own sexual harassment and assaults. That is highly unlikely.

There is a massive helping of irony in Trump’s latching onto a criticism of Zucker over his sudden exit from CNN over a personal relationship. Zucker’s relationship, it should be noted, was consensual, and he apologized for not following corporate policy to disclose it. Trump, on the other hand, has been credibly accused of sexual harassment, abuse, and even rape, by dozens of women.

Trump is the last person who should be moralizing about the personal lives of others. And yet he does it relentlessly. He is utterly without shame or honor or decency. And for some unexplainable, but indisputably idiotic reason, he insists on reminding everybody of what a sleazebag he is. Which may be a symptom of his malignant narcissism, or perhaps something worse for which there is not yet a name.

Donnie Trump Jr Makes the Meat-Headed Mistake of Trash-Talking Rachel Maddow

Nobody ever mistook Donald Trump Jr for a Mensa member. His all too frequent appearances on Fox News showcase his ignorance, such as his visit with Sean Hannity to support Vladimir Putin and champion Russia’s position on Ukraine. Even worse, Junior recently posted a video proudly displaying his queasy demeanor that suggests a serious substance abuse problem.

Undeterred, the Trump spawn thought that he could take advantage of the announcement that MSNBC host, Rachel Maddow, is taking a brief hiatus to work on some other projects, including a film (with Ben Stiller and Lorne Michaels) based on her book and podcast, “Bag Man.”

So Donnie tweeted that it “Seems the TRUTH finally broke her!” Let’s just set aside the fact that there is no rational meaning to that remark. What “TRUTH” is he referring to? Because she presents so much of it every day. And what does he mean by “broke”? Could it be just that she was overwhelmed by the abundancy of provable lies promulgated by Trump and his Propaganda Ministry (aka Fox News)?

Maddow, however, had a pithy response that was ripe with relevant meaning that Donnie surely didn’t comprehend…

Of course Donnie doesn’t know anything about the “Bag Man” exposé of Spiro Agnew, Richard Nixon’s corrupt vice-president. And he certainly couldn’t connect the dots between that and the corruption that his father has been engaging in for years (decades?), and about which more is being revealed every day. Although Donnie may have an inkling of what it’s like to be under investigation for serious crimes. And, hopefully, he will learn more about that in the not too distant future.

In the meantime, Donnie would be well-advised to refrain from tangling with Maddow. He’s a loser who has never had a job outside of Daddy’s failing real estate business. While Maddow is a Rhodes Scholar with a doctorate in political science from Oxford University. Like the old saying warns, Donnie shouldn’t be fighting a battle of wits when he is so obviously unarmed.

Trump Hypes Convicted Election Fraud Felon’s Crocumentary About Election Fraud

For more than a year now, Donald Trump has been frantically scampering to scam suckers who are even more intellectually and emotionally damaged than he is. But his crackpot campaign to persuade people that the 2020 election was corrupted by a massive cabal of conspirators – despite never having been able to produce a shred of evidence – is just a pathetic pursuit to paper over his attempted coup, to which he publicly confessed.

The latest display of Trump’s derangement came on Monday when he tweeted (via his Twitter ban defying spokes-shill) an endorsement of a documentary that he claimed “shows the world exactly how the 2020 Presidential Election was Rigged and Stolen.” The statement gushed that…

“Highly respected Dinesh D’Souza, working together with Catherine Engelbrecht of True the Vote, just released a trailer to their new movie, ‘2,000 Mules,’ that shows the world exactly how the 2020 Presidential Election was Rigged and Stolen. The movie exposes the lies of the Democrats, RINOs, and Fake News who say it was the ‘most secure election in history.’ It was, perhaps, the least secure in history. The ballot box was stuffed, and stuffed like never before—and it’s all on video. Ballots were trafficked and sold in a massive operation in each Swing State. The evidence is so damning, what will the cowards who sat and did nothing about the stolen election say now? The way our votes were taken away is a disgrace to our Nation. It must be fixed.”

To refer to Dinesh D’Souza as “highly respected” is like referring to Hannibal Lecter as a distinguished gourmet. For the record, D’Souza is a felon who was convicted of – wait for it – campaign finance fraud! He pleaded to guilty to charges of multiple unlawful campaign contributions. So naturally, Trump pardoned him. Now he’s using his experience as an election cheat to make false allegations about election cheating. And D’Souza’s partners, True the Vote, are equally disreputable.

Trump whines that it was the “Fake News” that called the 2020 election “the most secure election in history.” Actually, that was Trump’s own Homeland Security officials. You have to wonder why, if the alleged “evidence” in this crocumentary is so solid, why haven’t they introduced it in court? Why did they make it into a movie that contains nothing verifiable and makes baseless allegations by known liars that are not under oath? Perhaps because the Trump team has already lost more than sixty court cases asserting election fraud that didn’t exist.

This is just another impotent attempt to spread Trump’s lies. It has no more legitimacy or proof of election fraud than the hilariously named “Absolute Proof,” a film by Mike Lindell (the MyPillow guy) that had so little proof that even the One America News Network (OAN) that aired it had to attach a legal disclaimer to distance themselves from the flagrantly bogus propaganda pic. It didn’t work. And neither will D’Souza’s pitiful effort to disseminate disinformation on Trump’s behalf. But that won’t stop Trump from slobbering all over it.
