Obviously Addled Trump Utterly Misconstrues Report that the FBI Paid a Russian Informant

September has been a bad month, so far, for the twice-impeached, former reality TV game show host, Donald Trump. The fallout from his having stolen, hoarded, and lied about having highly sensitive national security materials stashed at his Mar-a-Lago bunker continues to pose significant legal peril for him and his anti-American crime syndicate.

In addition to being the subject of criminal and civil investigations from New York, to Georgia, to Washington, D.C., to the federal Department of Justice, his pitiful Twitter ripoff, Truth Social is floundering. His lawsuit against Hillary Clinton was laughed out of court. His buddy and co-conspirator Mike Lindell had his phone confiscated at a Hardee’s. And even Fox News has been shying away from their role as knee-jerk Trump defenders.

Consequently, Trump is sinking ever further into an abyss of incoherence and desperation. On Thursday Trump posted comments on his alt-Twitter that parroted some recent contrivances in the ultra-rightist press. These stories are badly distorted versions of the news that special counsel John Durham’s investigation is wrapping up with almost nothing to show. It took 29 months and $40 million dollars to produce goose eggs, rather than the mother lode of incriminating evidence they hoped for against Hillary Clinton or whoever they are obsessing over. As reported by CNN…

“In all, Durham has prosecuted just three people: [Igor] Danchenko, the acquitted Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann, and a low-level FBI lawyer named Kevin Clinesmith, who avoided jail by pleading guilty in 2020 to doctoring an email in 2017.”

For the record, the Mueller probe took only 22 months and resulted in 34 indictments and eight convictions of close associates of Trump including Paul Manafort, Rick Gates, Michael Flynn, and Roger Stone.

Trump’s comments took a decidedly deranged turn by latching unto the only case still pending from Durham’s inquisition. Trump wrote that…

“FBI working with Russia to get Trump. If this were reversed, it would be the biggest story in 50 years. The Fake News Media does everything possible not to cover it – but the people know!”

And that…

“The biggest story of them all. They worked with the Russians, not “Trump.” It was all made up by the FBI and their SleazeBag friends. Then we’re supposed to trust them?”

So Trump is now whining that the “FBI [was] working with Russia to get Trump.” And he wonders what would happen “if this were reversed.” But Trump apparently doesn’t know what “reversed” means. If this were reversed it would be “Trump is working with Russia to get the FBI.” Which, ironically, is true. Everything Trump is doing and saying is anti-FBI, who he has called “disgraceful,” “dishonest,” and “completely corrupt.” That’s an assessment that Russia not only agrees with, but has worked tirelessly to promulgate.

The allegation by Trump and his lickspittle media mouthpieces is that a source for the infamous “Steele Dossier” was briefly paid by the FBI as an informant. From that morsel of unsupported info, the Trump faction concludes that the FBI was working “with” Russia to take down Trump.

What they fail to grasp is that the FBI often pays informants for information about crime suspects. That doesn’t mean they are working with the crime bosses. In fact, it means just the opposite. They are working with people who turned against the bosses. If the FBI pays a mob informant they are working against the mob, not with it.

The informant in this case is an example of that. Danchenko was not a Russian ally. He was a dissident who left Russia to live in the U.S., and he was ratting out his former associates in the Kremlin. By disparaging Danchenko it’s Trump who is, in effect, working with Russia. Again. So…same as it ever was.

Fox News and Trump FREAK OUT Over the FBI Seizing MyPillow Guy Mike Lindell’s Phone

Now they’ve done it. The Marxist Biden Deep State Justice Department thugs have done the unthinkable. They have assaulted the servile liberties of the gratingest American businessman and Internet loudmouth since – well, since real estate barren, casino bankrupter, charity skimmer, and twice-impeached former reality TV game show host, Donald Trump. That’s right, the MyPillow guy, Mike Lindell, joins the ranks of those persecuted by President Biden’s FBI stormtroopers.

In a plaintive whimpering video, Lindell revealed that the FBI had surrounded him at a Hardee’s eatery and forced him to surrender his cell phone. As the Daily Beast reported: “The search warrant requests data from Lindell’s phone, including any information it contains about damage to Dominion voting machines.” Shortly thereafter, Lindell managed to find some other device so that he could post a video announcing the seizure, despite the FBI requesting that he keep quiet about it.

Not surprisingly, this atrocity was quickly picked up by Fox News, where their Senior Fascismo Conspiracy Monger, Tucker Carlson was predictably perturbed. Upon learning of the phone abduction, Carlson unleashed a typically angst-ridden response…

“This is a Fox New Alert! A shocking one. We told you last night that the Biden administration has politicized law enforcement to the point where it feels Soviet and we were not overstating it. The FBI has just raided the guy who sells pillows on this channel. Not because the pillows are bad, but because of who he voted for.”

No, Carlson isn’t overstating it at all. He’s calmly and rationally issuing a “shocking” “Fox News Alert” to announce that the “Soviet” FBI “raided” his top advertiser for having voted for Trump.

Setting aside that Fox News uses the “Alert’ label for everything from earthquakes to surfing dogs, Carlson is falsely implying that the FBI raided Lindell’s home, which they did not. They simply approached him at a fast food restaurant and politely (according to Lindell) asked for his phone. They presented him with the search warrant, that was authorized by a judge, and advised him they were seeking information related to criminal activity.

Carlson, however, can’t be bothered with facts. He’s fixated on the heinousness of law enforcement doing their job. But Carlson wasn’t alone. His primetime colleague, Laura Ingraham, was also compelled to attack the agents for their audacious attention to those pesky legalities. She had the following exchange with her similarly outraged guest, ultra-rightist judicial pundit, Mike Davis…

Ingraham: It’s almost as if they’re seizing phones of anyone who might have communicated with the President, or anyone who’s close with the president. Am I out on a limb here or what?
Davis: This is scary stuff, Laura. We started out where they were going after Trump for non-crimes of keeping his presidential records at Mar-a-Lago. Now they’re going after his supporters. They’re going after his supporters for apparently the non-crime of questioning an election. You have to have a predicate crime in order to have Grand Jury subpoenas and warrants. What’s the crime they’re investigating? Questioning the election? We’re not a Marxist hellhole yet. I’m not understanding how the Biden Justice Department thinks that they can investigate these as crimes.

Yes, Laura. It’s fair to say that you are way out on a limb. For the record, the FBI isn’t “seizing phones of anyone who might have communicated with the [former] President.” They are seizing phones of anyone who might have been connected to a federal crime.

As for Davis, he is even farther out on that limb when he says that Trump hoarding – and lying about – highly sensitive national security materials at his Palm Beach hotel/home is a “non-crime.” And the FBI isn’t “going after” people who question the election. They’re going after coup plotters who tried to undermine democracy and overthrow the rightfully elected government. Davis pretends that he doesn’t know what the predicate for the subpoena was. But if he really doesn’t know, he’s both ignorant and dishonest.

The concerns of Carlson and Ingraham for Lindell can be traced to their dependence on him for advertising dollars. They have both lost most of their national advertisers and now rely on MyPillow as their biggest source of ad revenue. MyPillow accounts for at least 20% of the ads on Carlson’s show. In fact, MyPillow ads are running at an all time high on Fox News. And the second biggest advertiser is Fox News itself, promoting other Fox programs.

What makes this even more humorous is that Lindell had recently pulled all of his ads from Fox News in a fit because they wouldn’t run his ad promoting an election deniers conference that he held. Apparently he got over it.

Finally, Trump could not resist the impulse to weigh in this. He posted this comment on his floundering Twitter ripoff, Truth Social…

“Breaking News: Mike Lindell, “THE Pillow Guy,” was just raided by the FBI. We are now officially living in a Weaponized Police State, Rigged Elections, and all. Our Country is a laughing stock all over the World. The majesty of the United States is gone. Can’t let this happen. TAKE BACK AMERICA!”

If the United States is a “laughing stock all over the World,” it’s just the residue of Trump’s prior occupation of the White House and his continued whining about having so decisively lost reelection to Joe Biden. But the fact that Lindell and other Trump co-conspirators are being scrutinized by the FBI is rapidly restoring credibility to America’s laws and Constitution.

Trump has good reason to worry. On Monday it was reported that dozens of subpoenas were issued to Trump associates/accomplices for information regarding his criminal affairs. That’s just the latest in an avalanche of bad news for Trump as the long arm of the law gets ever closer to holding him accountable for an unprecedented crime spree. His terror is apparent as he tries to cover it up with inane posts and increasingly absurd accusations.

On Monday the Senior Trump-Fluffer on Fox News, Sean Hannity, waded into the legal sink hole in which Trump has taken residence. Hannity put together a segment that he surely thought would benefit Dear Leader’s quest for absolution. It featured a scrolling list of many of the crimes and investigations of Trump that are currently in progress. It is not nearly comprehensive, but is damning nonetheless. It includes in part…

  • Russian collusion
  • Misusing inaugural funds
  • Election interference
  • Extortion of Ukrainian president
  • Stormy Daniels hush money
  • Save America PAC donor ripoff
  • Real estate and tax fraud
  • Truth Social Stock Scam
  • Mar-a-Lago’s classified documents
  • January 6th insurrection

How on Earth did Hannity think that it would help Trump to enumerate his vast violations of the law? It is merely a handy itemization of his rap sheet. Now Democrats may have to send Hannity a “Thank You” note for providing such a helpful summary of Trump’s criminality, immorality, and treason. This inventory of illegality is exactly what is tormenting Trump. Will he appreciate Hannity so nicely compiling it?

Also on Monday Trump dropped 25 self-exalting posts that appear to be his pitifully vain attempts to remind himself of his imagined superiority and utter innocence of any crime. These posts included such narcissistic affirmations as a meme that projects his tyrannical reign of power to 2048, a Gateway Pundit article on election fraud, and a QAnon picture of Trump wearing a “Q” lapel pin and featuring the QAnon slogans “The Storm is Coming” and “WWG1WGA” (where we go 1, we go all).

Apparently in Trump World, a gathering storm is a good thing, rather than a potentially catastrophic event that brings destruction, pain, and grief.

It will be interesting to see if Trump has anything to say about Hannity’s catalog of crime. Trump is already angry at Fox News for not being sufficiently worshipful in their coverage of him. He has at times virtually written off the network as beholden to radical leftists. And he has been relentlessly bashing what he once regarded as his Ministry of Propaganda. For instance…

Fox News Host Criticizes Democrats for Having the Audacity to Oppose … Fascism?

It’s been two weeks since President Biden delivered “his historic Soul of America speech“, wherein he alerted the nation to the growing threat of authoritarian forces deeply embedded in Donald Trump’s MAGA crusade. The speech addressed the stark choice that the country faces between being “a nation of hope and unity and optimism, or a nation of fear, division, and of darkness?”

In the intervening weeks, Fox News has remained fiercely fixated on what they have falsely characterized as Biden’s hostility to half the nation. Never mind that Biden explicitly said that he was not referring to all Republicans, or even to all Trump supporters. The dishonest narrative that Fox News was intent on promulgating was more important than the truth.

That same seething obsession was evident on Monday’s episode of Fox and Friends. in a response to remarks by her guest, far right radio talker Jason Rantz, co-host Harris Faulkner latched onto the fake Fox factoid that Biden had insulted the MAGA cultists saying that…

“If they’re anti-semi-fascist, which is how they see more than half the country now – because Democrats are looking up and saying ‘Look we we just want lower prices. Where’s that $1.99 gas.’ – Are they pro-Antifa?”

There is so much wrong in that sound-fright that it requires some delving into. First of all, Faulkner is still lying that Biden was referring to “half the country,” when he was clearly referring only to MAGA extremists, like the insurrectionists who stormed Congress on January 6th. And even if Biden was referring to every Republican voter, it still wouldn’t be anywhere near 50% the country. There are 350 million people in the U.S. Only 71 million voted for Trump. Which is about 21% of the country, as well as seven million fewer than voted for Biden. Granted, 21% is still way more than we should tolerate, but it’s way less than than what Faulkner and every liar on Fox News has been regurgitating.

What’s more, Faulkner is not a particularly reliable source for what “Democrats are saying.” However, her whining about gas prices appears to be stuck several weeks in the past. Gas prices have dropped for 13 weeks in a row. And the only reason it was two bucks during Trump’s term was because of the COVID-19 pandemic that he so terribly mismanaged. Does she really want to go back to those days when no one was driving or leaving the house because thousands were dying every day?

More to the point, Faulkner’s complaint that Democrats are “pro Antifa” isn’t the beat-down that she thinks it is. Setting aside the fact that there is no such Democratic entity, being anti-fascist is a broadly popular position in this country. There are many others who likewise consider themselves anti-fascist. They’re called patriotic Americans. But if Faulkner and Fox News want to brag about being pro-fascist, we might as well let them. After all, their Dear Leader Trump doesn’t even bother to disguise it anymore.

Marco Rubio Agrees that Trump Hoarded Classified Documents, But Only Cares that He Got Caught

With new and increasingly ghastly stories about how Donald Trump has betrayed America coming out every day, his servile toadies in the Republican Party and the rightist press are finding it more difficult to manufacture excuses for his rampant criminality and deceit. On Wednesday morning GOP Sen. Marco Rubio visited Trump’s Ministry of Disinformation – aka Fox News – to unfurl more of the unabashed BS that he is so infamous for. However, he encountered some unexpected questioning that caused his robo-apologia to malfunction. It’s a condition that has afflicted other Trump-fluffers attempting to absolve Dear Leader of any and all wrongdoing.

During his interview on Fox and Friends, Rubio was asked by co-host Steve Doocy to explain why Trump would ever have sensitive national security materials stored insecurely at his Palm Beach resort hotel/home. Rubio’s response was typical of the cringeworthy alibis emanating from the League of Devoted Trump Defenders:

Doocy: “Highly classified documents at Mar-a-Lago that only a cabinet-level officer or higher could even look at… That doesn’t seem like something you should have in your post-presidential drawer.”
Rubio: “Well, let’s break this down. First of all, we really don’t know. Let’s go back and understand that all this information is coming from one side and one place. and that is sources with knowledge of the investigation. Well, who are the sources with knowledge of the investigation? The FBI and Justice Department. And they are leaking to the media.”

Doocy was putting it mildly to suggest that such documents ought not to be kept in a desk drawer at a hotel that welcomes unvetted guests from all over the world. But Rubio couldn’t even address that relative softball. He dodged the question about the legal and ethical failures by Trump entirely, instead devoting the next two minutes to complaining about alleged leaks.

In other words, Rubio was more worried that Trump had been caught, than by the crimes he committed that put America at risk. Although Rubio did affirm the existence of classified materials at Trump’s resort. By asserting that the info came from “sources with knowledge of the investigation,” he is conceding the legitimacy of the charges against Trump that he’s whining were leaked.

What’s more, the substance of Rubio’s complaints had no basis in reality. He asserted as fact that information had been leaked by the FBI or the Justice Department for political purposes. But he has no evidence of that. There could be other sources for that information, including people who Trump might have shown the documents to, or who participated in moving them to Mar-a-Lago, or had helped him review and catalog what he stole from the White House.

This isn’t the first pitifully lame effort by Rubio to exonerate Trump. On Monday he told an NBC reporter that the whole scandalous controversy was “just a storage issue, [and] I don’t think a fight over storage of documents is worthy of what they [the FBI] have done.” Of course. Because why should anyone be concerned that Trump had illegally taken national security materials from the White House, lied about having them when asked, and even subpoenaed, and stored them where unsavory characters could access them?

Trump has been making many of the same arguments. He is outraged that the FBI took some personal items from his office at Mar-a-Lago. But he makes no attempt to explain why had more than 11,000 documents that are the property of the United States government. But in his defense, the only reason he doesn’t try to explain it is because he’s guilty, and he knows it. Other than that…

Peter Doocy of Fox News Flops Trying to ‘Gotcha’ White House Press Sec Karine Jean-Pierre

The recent history of Donald Trump’s crusade to promulgate the “Big Lie” that the 2020 presidential election was “rigged” and “stolen” from him has been validated by numerous sources from across the political spectrum. Even members of Trump’s own administration declared the election legitimate and its results conclusive.

That, however, has not deterred Fox News from perpetuating blatant falsehoods and attempting to deflect from the facts with their circus sideshow stunts. The ringleader for these antics is Fox’s White House correspondent, Peter Doocy.

On Tuesday afternoon Doocy demonstrated once again how distant he is from practicing actual journalism. In an exchange with White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, Doocy was dissatisfied with the relevant questions that other reporters were asking, so he interjected his own ludicrous diversion. But, as usual, it was so weak that he was quickly whack-a-moled back into his hole…

Doocy: You tweeted Trump stole an election. You tweeted Brian Kemp stole an election. If denying election results is extreme now, why wasn’t it then?
Jean-Pierre: Let’s be really clear. That comparison that you made is just ridiculous. I was talking specifically at that time about what was happening with voting rights, and what was endangering voting rights. That’s what I was speaking to at the time. And here’s the thing. I have said Gov. Kemp won. President Trump won the election of 2016. And I’ve been clear about that. What we are talking about right now…Let’s not forget what happened on January 6th, 2021. We saw an insurrection, a mob, that was incited by the person who occupied this campus, this facility, at that time. And it was an attack on our democracy. Let’s not forget, people died that day. Law enforcement were attacked that day. That was the danger we were seeing at the time. That was what the President has called out. And that’s what he’s gonna continue to call out.”

Indeed, Doocy’s question was ridiculous for the reasons Jean-Pierre stated. But at least he sort of conceded that “denying election results is extreme.” However,l that isn’t what Jean-Pierre did. She never sought to undermine faith in democracy itself. She was speaking narrowly about the means by which Republicans sought to make voting more difficult for citizens that they assumed would vote against Republicans.

They did this through gerrymandering, closing polling places in Democratic districts, limiting, or cutting entirely, early voting, reducing access to polling places and ballot drop boxes, and other nefarious methods of suppressing the votes of non-Republicans. They even made it illegal to offer food or water to voters who were forced to wait in lines for hours, which only seemed to happen in Democratic precincts.

For the record, the tweets that Doocy referred were posted by Jean-Pierre before she her White House employment. And they were not remotely equivalent to Trump’s wholly fictional allegations of election fraud. One was a response to a bizarre Trump tweet advising that China be allowed to keep an American drone that they had recovered:

The other tweet was a response to an admission by Brian Kemp that he had badly misunderstood the scientific facts about COVID-19.

In both cases Jean-Pierre was making the point that the elections in question were marred, not by fraud, but by dishonesty and efforts to distort the process. And she never disavowed or disputed the outcomes, as Trump and his cohorts in politics and the press are still doing.

Doocy likely knows the difference, but doesn’t care. He thinks that he has latched onto something that he can use to embarrass the White House. Unfortunately for him, he’s only embarrassing himself by dredging up ancient tweets that had nothing to do with the Biden administration, and are utterly irrelevant to Trump’s “Big Lie” about the 2020 election. He is, once again, wasting the time of everyone in the Press Room. And he’s only succeeding at affirming how pitifully unprepared he is for the job he got because his father is a Fox News host.

Fox News Producer Warned Network to Stop Putting Hosts on Air to Spew Election Conspiracy Lies

It’s been almost two years since Joe Biden decisively defeated Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election. And for all of that time Trump has stubbornly insisted that he was the real winner and that the election was “rigged” and “stolen” from him. Never mind that he couldn’t provide a shred of evidence to support his claims and that he lost dozens of lawsuits in a futile and delusional effort to cling to power.

Trump’s belligerent dishonesty has had numerous deleterious effects on the nation. Most notably, it led directly to a deadly assault on Congress by his cult followers attempting to stage a violent coup and obstruct the peaceful transfer of power. His relentless lying about the election contributed to undermining faith in democracy and fomenting fear and future violence by glassy-eyed StormTrumpers. It also resulted in billion dollar lawsuits against his Ministry of Disinformation – aka Fox News – for spreading election fraud conspiracy theories.

The case of one of the plaintiffs against Fox News, Dominion Voting Systems, has been progressing steadily. It has compelled depositions from Fox News hosts such as Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson, Maria Bartiromo, Lou Dobbs, and Jeanine Pirro. And in new a report it has been revealed that the network was well aware that their hosts were disseminating false allegations that Dominion’s voting machines were designed to suppress Trump votes and/or switch them to Biden. NPR reports that…

“The November 2020 email from an anguished Fox News news producer to colleagues sent up a flare amid a fusillade of false claims. The producer warned: Fox cannot let host Jeanine Pirro back on the air. She is pulling conspiracy theories from dark corners of the Web to justify then-President Donald Trump’s lies that the election had been stolen from him.”

Fox News not only let Pirro back on the air, they promoted her to a co-host of Fox’s “The Five,” a top rated daily program. They also continued to allow Hannity, Carlson, Bartiromo, and many others on the air to spread Trump’s lies. NPR continued to say that…

“Dominion’s attorneys have obtained emails, texts, WhatsApp messages and more, documenting how the network’s executives and journalists behaved and acted behind the scenes, as well as determining what they actually knew about the claims, according to three people with knowledge of the litigation. Witnesses have been pressed about the degree to which the Murdochs and Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott were involved in making editorial decisions or kept in the loop.”

When NPR sought a comment from Fox News, they said only that they “were covering the most newsworthy story of that period — the president of the United States claiming election fraud.” Of course that is also a lie. The Fox hosts were not simply reporting what Trump had said. They explicitly alleged that the election was riddled with fraud and that Dominion was among those responsible.

Defamation lawsuits rest on the ability of the plaintiff to show that the defendant knew, or should have known, that what they were saying was false and that they acted with malice. The new evidence does a pretty good job of establishing that. Not that it was necessary. Fox News had been pushing the election fraud lies despite the fact that even members of Trump’s own administration had validated the election as legitimate.

They included Christopher Wray, FBI Director; Benjamin Hovland, of the U.S. Election Assist­ance Commission; director of the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Chris Krebs; and even Attorney General Bill Barr. Barr went so far as to tell ABC News correspondent Jonathan Karl (in his recent book “Betrayal”) that “My suspicion all the way along was that there was nothing there. It was all bullshit.”

With all of the legal tribulations bearing down on Trump and his media cohorts, it isn’t surprising that he is becoming ever more unhinged. And much of that lunacy is manifesting in his preposterous excuses for having stolen and hoarded classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago bunker. Look for Trump to sink farther into this abyss of desperation of his own making as the prospect of his being held accountable gets closer.

UPDATE: The lawsuit against Fox News by Smartmatic, a voting software company, is also progressing. A judge just ordered Fox “to start turning over files from a pool of millions of documents that the voting machine company demanded.”

Update II: NPR reports that Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott knew that the election fraud lies the network was promulgating were false. This helps substantiate the defamation case by Dominion against Fox. Scott told her staff, referring to election deniers, that “We can’t give the crazies an inch.” They did anyway. And still do.

Trump Whines that He’s ‘Really Rich’ in Pathetic Attempt to Cure His Truth Social Disease

For years Donald Trump has bragged about his alleged wealth as proof of his self-proclaimed brilliance and competence as a successful businessman. Never mind that he inherited his fortune and ran it into the ground with foolish investments and bad management. He would have made more money if he had simply put his inheritance in an S&P 500 index fund.

Now Trump is using the same sort of impotent boasting to salve his gargantuan but fragile ego after more bad news about his floundering Twitter ripoff, Truth Social came out. The website he founded after Twitter suspended his account “due to the risk of further incitement of violence,” has been a disaster from its inception. And it’s actually gotten worse since Trump began using it himself.

The latest truth published about “Truth” Social is that Google has banned it from their Google Play app store due to its tolerance and promotion of violence. Bloomberg News reports that…

“Google’s Play store is declining to distribute Donald Trump’s Truth Social app, saying the network still needs to resolve the fact that it hosts violent threats and other content that goes against Google’s standards.”

In response to this story, Trump posted a furious comment that is rife with ridiculous claims of how his social media scam is thriving. He raged that…

“TRUTH is doing really well. It has truly become our MAGA VOICE, but also a voice for the RINOs and Radical Left Lunatics. Engagements are far better, more interesting, and spirited than anywhere else. I like it much better than Twitter, which is a complete mess. Sign up on TRUTH now, only getting stronger. Google is coming along nicely (I think?). SEC trying to hurt company doing financing (SPAC). Who knows? In any event, I don’t need financing, “I’m really rich!” Private company anyone???”

As usual, Trump can’t seem to get anywhere close to reality in his pitiful efforts to pretend that he isn’t a big loser. Trump’s alternative facts are diametrically opposed to what is actually happening with his vanity website. Both Trump’s “Trump Media and Technology Group” (TMTG), and “Digital World Acquisition Corporation” (DWAC), the shell company that was expected to take the new business public, are in serious legal and financial trouble. DWAC has declined in value by 75% from its high mark last March. And that’s not all…

Trump Rants Hysterically as His PRAVDA Social Bans Users Who Post the Truth About January 6th
“Trump’s Twitter copycat claiming it is ‘free from political discrimination,’ has reportedly banned users who posted information from Thursday’s congressional hearing on the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol.”

That’s what Trump regards as “doing really well”? If he thinks that his anti-social site is a voice for what he calls “Radical Left Lunatics,” he may just get that insanity defense he’s been angling for. He is correct, however, – and he has bragged that – the site serves as a voice for himself and the other MAGA terrorists that President Biden recently called out so eloquently.

Finally, if Trump is so damn rich, why does he spend so much time begging for money from his hillbilly cult followers? And he doesn’t even use a penny of it for what he promises it’s being raised for. Such as electing MAGA Republicans, advancing his “Big Lie” that the 2020 election was “rigged” and “stolen” from him, and fighting the multitude of legal battles due to his inbred corruption.

And yet, his glassy-eyed disciples still open their wallets for his cons. It would be sad if it weren’t so funny and so destructive of his own nefarious goals.

UPDATE: DWAC failed to get backing for an extension to complete their merger with Trump’s Truth Social venture. Which means they will have to forfeit billions in pledged investments and a place on the stock exchange. Next stop…another Trump bankruptcy.

Tucker Carlson of Fox News Bashes Biden’s ‘Soul of America’ Speech – that He Didn’t Watch

On Thursday night President Biden delivered an address that was intended to alert the nation to the threat of right-wing extremism as embodied in Donald Trump and his MAGA cult. So predictably, the knee-jerk, anti-Biden brigades were out in force to lambaste him, mostly for things he never said.

At the front of the line was Tucker Carlson of Fox News. He began his harangue even before Biden began speaking, so he obviously hadn’t seen a second of it. Yet his moron-ologue was filled with the hostility of a wounded predator on crack. Carlson raged that…

“If you are watching this right now, you are missing a rare prime-time address from Joe Biden. Biden doesn’t give a lot of those for obvious reasons, but tonight’s topic is worthy of the occasion. America is under attack. And not from our usual enemies. The threat we face tonight is existential, but it’s not coming from barefoot religious extremists living in caves. It’s not the Chinese government. It’s not even Vladimir Putin, himself, the most diabolically evil man in history.

“No, ladies and gentlemen, this threat is worse than all of that, and it’s home grown. As they say in the horror movies, it’s coming from inside the house. The single gravest threat to America today is Republican voters, all 75 million of them. They are Nazis and destroyers of democracy. They must be stopped. That is the message of Joe Biden’s speech.”

Carlson didn’t (couldn’t) cite a single passage from Biden’s speech. Not having seen any of it will cause that sort of omission. And yet, he spoke as if he had watched the whole thing and had something relevant to say about it. But he could not have heard any of the numerous times that Biden expressed his optimism about America’s promise and his confidence in its future. He couldn’t have heard Biden praise free speech, even that of a heckler cussing at him through a bullhorn.

However, the real message for the speech was the peril presented by what Biden calls Trump or MAGA Republicans. Carlson blatantly lied when he said that Biden had attacked “all 75 million” Republican voters, when he explicitly clarified that it was a small faction of the GOP’s extreme right wing. Biden clearly specified that…

“Too much of what’s happening in our country today is not normal. Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic. Now, I want to be very clear, very clear up front: Not every Republican, not even the majority of Republicans, are MAGA Republicans. Not every Republican embraces their extreme ideology. I know because I’ve been able to work with these mainstream Republicans. But there is no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that is a threat to this country.”

“These are hard things. But I’m an American President — not the President of red America or blue America, but of all America. And I believe it is my duty — my duty to level with you, to tell the truth no matter how difficult, no matter how painful. And here, in my view, is what is true: MAGA Republicans do not respect the Constitution. They do not believe in the rule of law. They do not recognize the will of the people.”

As usual, Carlson and Fox News don’t bother to connect their bonehead blather to reality. Their mission has always been to viciously malign Democrats and the majority of progressive Americans with rancid hostility and overt hatred in order to divide the nation. And the people who are now accusing Biden of being divisive, are the same people who have been for years calling him a senile Marxist who wants to destroy the country. Then they demand that we unite with them? Yeah, right!

WTF? Now Trump Says the FBI Was Looking for Hillary Clinton’s Emails at Mar-a-Lago

For much of the post-presidency of Donald Trump, some analysts having observed his increasingly bizarre conduct and statements, have suggested that he might be laying the groundwork for an insanity defense should any of the investigations in progress lead to indictments. That’s always seemed to be a fanciful notion, but an improbable one. Until now.

Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton

On Thursday morning Trump called into the radio show of wingnut Wendy Bell to pontificate on the recent search of his Mar-a-Lago bunker by the FBI. For the three weeks since, Trump has floated an array of progressively ludicrous explanations and excuses for what occurred and why. Including that the FBI staged a photo of the classified documents that he hoarded in manner that made him look like slob.

A brief summary of Trump’s accusations would include that the documents that don’t exist, and which Trump refused to return when subpoenaed, were actually there, but he was using them, even though someone else packed them without his knowledge, which didn’t happen because the FBI planted them, and the documents that the FBI planted were all declassified in a secret ceremony, and protected by attorney-client privilege. No, really!

On Bell’s radio show Trump offered up a brand new reason for the FBI search. Although it’s a reason that draws on one of Trump favorite crackpot conspiracy theories from the old days. In a rambling and disjointed proclamation, Trump revealed that…

“I think they were looking for Hillary Clinton emails. I think they thought… and who knows? Boxes full of stuff… I think they thought that Hillary Clinton…it had something to do with the Russia, Russia, Russia… They were afraid that things were in there, part of their scam material, because that’s what they are, the scammers. And they would think that things were in there having to do with… Can you imagine…?”

Excuse me? Are we really reviving the Hillary Clinton email nonsense to explain the motives for the FBI’s efforts to recover highly sensitive national security materials that Trump stole and hoarded as his Palm Beach resort/home? Is Trump confessing that he took documents related to Clinton when he left the White House? Or is he asserting that the FBI is on his side in the quest find incriminating dirt on Clinton so that he can “Lock her up”? And where does Russia figure into his lunacy?

Perhaps a more complex, though equally as preposterous, theory is that Trump is implying that he took alleged evidence against Clinton for safekeeping, so that he could press charges against her when he resumes his post as American Dictator. And the FBI was trying to get it back so they could destroy it. Leaving the door open for Muslim King Obama to return to power.

That’s precisely the sort of devious and nefarious plot that would fester in Trump’s diseased brain. Is it crazy? Sure! Crazy like a Fox News segment.

Speaking of which, Fox’s Trump-fluffers are still struggling mightily to absolve him of any guilt for having the classified documents that he says aren’t classified anymore. Except that Fox’s Jeanine Pirro just conceded that they are classified. “I was shocked,” said Pirro, “to see classified documents and photos on a floor released by the FBI.” And Alan Dershowitz said the same thing on Newsmax. “This is classified material,” Dershowitz insisted, “and they’re putting it out and giving it to our enemies because they want to, because they can.”

Of course the content in the documents was covered up so that our enemies couldn’t possibly see any of it. But it’s interesting that these Trumpers are more concerned about how the evidence was displayed while in the FBI’s custody, than that there is such incriminating evidence of Trump’s treasonous malfeasance by storing these documents so insecurely at his hotel.

All of this reflects just how desperate and devoid of rational excuses they are for Trump’s obvious guilt. And as the walls close in around him, we can expect the madness to grow exponentially. Hillary better watch out. Trump still has not hit bottom. Can you imagine?
