The United Nations is currently holding its annual General Assembly meeting in New York City wherein diplomats from around the world congregate to discuss shared interests and advance the cause of peace and unity. This year is a particularly notable one due to the ongoing war by Russia against its neighbor Ukraine.

On Tuesday, President Biden delivered an impassioned speech that addressed many pressing issues, including the Ukraine matter and Russia’s unprovoked aggression and war crimes. Biden was received with respect and admiration from the audience of international ambassadors (video below).
It was quite a contrast from the waves of laughter that Donald Trump triggered with his preposterous assertion that he had “accomplished more than almost any administration in the history of our country.” Even funnier was how Fox News tried to clean up after him the next day.

Biden was forthright in his advocacy of American values and the reasons that our aid to Ukraine is so important. Among the moving passages from his speech were the following…
“Russia alone bears responsibility for this war. Russia alone has the power to end this war immediately. And it’s Russia alone that stands in the way of peace because Russia’s price of peace is Ukraine’s capitulation, Ukraine’s territory, and Ukraine’s children.”
“If we abandon the core principles of the U.N. Charter to appease an aggressor, can any member state feel confident that they are protected?”
“We have to stand up to this naked aggression today and deter other would be aggressors tomorrow.”
Naturally, Trump was feeling neglected because the spotlight of media attention had shifted away from him. So he unleashed a bitter and bizarre commentary on his failing social media scam, Truth Social, in a desperate attempt to steal some of Biden’s thunder. Trump whined that…
“Biden just finished his surrender (‘speech’) at the United Nations, and nobody, despite all we give them, showed up. No respect for America any longer!”

Apparently Trump defines “surrender” as being committed to fighting for the sovereignty of free nations and defeating imperialistic tyrants like Trump’s pal, Vladimir Putin. As for his ridiculous claim that “nobody showed up,” maybe he just means nobody cracked up, like they did when he spoke. And he has a concept of respect that is clearly distorted by his malignant narcissism. The one thing that’s certain is that Trump is in a severe state of mental decline, and it’s getting worse by the hour.

My daughter has a big plastic keg thing she keeps cat food in that has a sticker on it that says, ” Elect a clown, expect a circus. ” She got it from an anti-TUMP website. That sticker says it all in describing Donald TUMP. I am thinking by reading his daily lie infested rants, that the anger, rage, and jealousy of Pres. Biden is soon going to eat him alive and spit out the bones. Either that, or he is on the verge of a complete and total mental breakdown. I am surprised this hasn’t already happened. His delusions are getting worse by the day now.
It is so obvious to anyone who is not in his MAGA cult that Trump is completely deranged. Seriously, he is a sick man. the fact that he stands a good chance of becoming president again is terrifying.
The fact that while his Party of nasty tyrants & his comatose (un-woke) cult of idiocity are willing to destroy U. S. Freedom & Democracy, and anoint him some kind of “trump-god”… they are not even close to a majority in USA.
The separation of Church & State was born of hard-earned wisdom, having seen what happened in their home nation when everyone had to believe what & how they were told by their leaders. They’d just fought the Revolutionary War & not about to repeat the same mistake. So, we have a law of separation – a smart law!
Religion, or lack thereof, is a very personal decision on a matter of utmost importance. It’s what you feel – or don’t – in your soul. NO ONE has the right to decide for anyone else what they believe in!
If there were a “right 1” for everyone to believe same… it’d still be wrong to force anyone else to trade in what it is they believe -heart & soul – for a prescribed religion dictated to them by others. So many religions, even within Christianity & many totally different from that! Who’s to say which is right 100? If indeed you think any 1 is 100%. I DO NOT. Too many subtle differences & we do not know who’s right… perfect. God Will Decide that. Maybe. But since everyone is so sure their’s ls the only correct one, we cannot decide for anyone else! Period. I’m getting damn sick of the far-right, who are SO wrong, taking apart our Constitution & taking away our rights — rights that SO MANY gave their lives to protect! How UN-American can the white-wing GOP be??!!?
Oh crap! Wait, that’s right… they’re the Party that lied about election fraud, support violent insurrection & overthrow of gov’t… they’re the ones who have packed SCOTUS & backed their piss-poor rulings… & more than that, they have screwed with our elections so badly that it’s hardly a democracy with all having right to vote… & they have filled key election positions with their people who agreed to throw out votes & that they’ll violate the will of voters if told to do so by their own Party.

“Trump is echoing the blasphemous assertion that he is the “King of Israel” and even the returning Messiah as “the second coming of God.”
Blasphemy… from a guy who thinks he is as good as God, IS God, 2nd Coming, etc… when nothing he does is God-like (at all!) & his behavior is nothing God would even find acceptable!
And, I think if he had any connection at all to God, the man would know how to hold the Bible rightside-up & face-forward…might even know 1 or 2 Scriptures he could recite in a pinch!
He would certainly know the sin it is to exault oneself above God, be claiming himself God…when that man constantly breaks all God’s Laws & beyond that ~ Trump is evil! He does evil shit ALL the time & corrupts all that he has contact with! He’s repulsive to the Nth degree & lies with every breath he takes, each word he utters. And has put blinders on his cult following of voters — they cannot see truth, reality & have given up thinking with their own brain, using it for a ugly red hat-rack.
