TACO TRUMP Pens Absurd Letter to NATO with Pro-Putin Conditions to End Russia’s War on Ukraine

In the past nine months Donald Trump has issued several less than compelling ultimatums to Vladimir Putin regarding his ongoing war of aggression against Ukraine. Even before he reoccupied the White House Trump promised that he would end the war in 24 hours with a single phone call to his dear friend Vlad.

Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin

Since taking office Trump reiterated his intentions to bring the conflict to a close. Last month Trump met with Putin in Alaska to negotiate a ceasefire. While steadfastly refusing to ever say anything critical of Putin, Trump insisted that Putin would have to agree to a ceasefire within 50 days – later reduced to 10 days – or there would be “severe consequences.” But as usual, Trump Always Chickens Out…

SEE THIS: TACO Trump Gives Putin Another 2 Weeks – No, Really, 2 Weeks – and He Really Means It This Time

Unsurprisingly, Trump’s deadlines have all passed. And on Saturday Trump posted another decree on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, expressing his thoughts on how to bring peace to the region in a letter he claimed to have sent to America’s NATO allies. Unfortunately, it was just more Trump malarkey that will create more confusion than completion. He babbled in part that…

““I am ready to do major Sanctions on Russia when all NATO Nations have agreed, and started, to do the same thing, and when all NATO Nations STOP BUYING OIL FROM RUSSIA. […] I believe that this, plus NATO, as a group, placing 50% to 100% TARIFFS ON CHINA, to be fully withdrawn after the WAR with Russia and Ukraine is ended, will also be of great help in ENDING this deadly, but RIDICULOUS, WAR.”

So Trump is “ready to do major Sanctions on Russia,” but only if all of NATO joins him. That’s a pathetically weak statement. Firstly because it exposes him as being afraid to show any smidgen of leadership. And secondly because it shields him from doing anything at all. If every one of the NATO members doesn’t go along, Trump will blame the whole alliance for his own failure to act on his own promises. And Turkey, Hungary, and Slovakia are on relatively friendly terms with Russia and remain trading partners, particularly with regard to oil, so they can’t be relied on to agree to Trump’s demands.

Trump’s additional terms regarding China further complicate his initiative. He wants all of NATO to impose the same inflationary tariffs on merchandise from China that he has imposed on American companies and consumers. And he is asking this of NATO while he is imposing tariffs on them. That would result in NATO suffering the economic hardship of tariffs from both China and the U.S.

This plan could not have been better devised to fail if it were intentional. Which, undoubtedly, it was. Because Trump couldn’t care less about ending the war. Especially if it damages his relationship with Putin. Conversely, Trump has repeatedly demeaned and insulted Ukrainian President Zelenskyy. And he does so again in this letter saying that…

“This is not TRUMP’S WAR (it would never have started if I was President!), it is Biden’s and Zelenskyy’s WAR.”

See? According to Trump it isn’t Putin’s war at all. Never mind that Putin is the one who invaded Ukraine. And Putin is the one committing war crimes. And the war could end tomorrow if Putin would just have his troops go home. Trump’s blaming Biden and Zelenskyy was so offensive that it drew criticism from Rep. Don Bacon of Nebraska, a conservative Republican who sits on the House Committee on Armed Services. Bacon slammed Trump saying that…

“‘It is Biden’s and Zelenskyy’s war’ is so morally blind and factually wrong. Mr President, Putin is the one who is the invader. And, now this war is on your watch and you’ll be judged in the history books in the decades to come by your actions or lack thereof.”

Somehow, through all of this, Trump and his sycophants in Congress and the press think that he should get a Nobel peace prize. For what? Stalling any hopes of peace until Ukraine is defeated and Russia has achieved its imperialistic goals? If there is one thing we can learn from this, it’s that Putin could not have a better friend than Donald Trump. And America could not have a worse president.

Putin Pawns Vance and Gaetz Take Russia’s Side Against Ukraine on OAN, Advocate Economic Ties

The unrelenting campaign of propaganda that is dispensed by Donald Trump and his administration appears to be inspired by the PR campaigns of entertainment media, particularly the reality TV genre that birthed Trump himself. He manages to have his people delivering his messages on Fox News on a daily basis. Often multiple times each day.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, JD Vance, Dr. Evil, Mini-Me

Trump continues to rely on Fox News as his primary outlet for his propaganda, despite Fox having paid a settlement of 3/4 of a billion dollars for having lied repeatedly about the 2020 presidential election. However, he does have other platforms as well, including Newsmax and the One America News Network (OAN), who have their own legal problems with lying to their viewers.

SEE THIS: Newsmax and OAN Added to Smartmatic’s Billion Dollar Lawsuit for Pushing Trump’s ‘Big Lie’

Fulfilling its Trump-fluffing mission, OAN hosted Vice-President JD Vance on The Matt Gaetz Show to discuss recent developments with the Trump administration’s ongoing failure to resolve the Russia/Ukraine war as Trump had promised. And predictably, Vance offered a full-throated defense of Trump’s views, which just happen to be exactly the same as Vladimir Putin’s. The opening question by Gaetz was both biased and leading. But most of all weird…

Gaetz: Sources have told me that Russian president Vladimir Putin has suggested that sanctions relief could result in Russia moving more of their energy commodities in the U.S. dollar, functionally giving the United States a lot of control over U.S. energy markets that could lower energy costs for Americans. Do you see economic cooperation with Russia as one of the things that could bring an end to some of the hostilities that we want to see concluded?
Vance: Absolutely. And it’s one of the carrots that we’ve thrown out there. And the president has been very open with both the Europeans and the Russians that he doesn’t see any reason why we should economically isolate Russia except for the continuation of the conflict…Let’s be honest. Whether you like or dislike Russia, whether you agree or disagree with their underlying arguments for the conflict, the simple fact is they’ve got a lot of oil. They’ve got a lot of gas. They’ve got a lot of mineral wealth.

Vance stated that the Trump administration does not seek economic isolation of Russia.

WarTranslated (Dmitri) (@wartranslated.bsky.social) 2025-09-10T11:14:03.230Z

REALLY? Vance just justified giving Russia a lucrative economic deal that he said would enrich both Russia and the U.S. And he thinks that’s an appropriate “carrot” for the barbaric invader of Ukraine who has slaughtered tens of thousands of innocent civilians. After all, as Vance says, Trump “doesn’t see any reason why we should economically isolate Russia.”

Vance also brought up what he thinks are the issues that are most important to both sides. He said that Russia just wants 6,000 square kilometers more of Ukraine, and that Ukraine only wants security guarantees. Both of those are profoundly shallow assessments of this very complex situation. Russia has been adamant about controlling all of Ukraine, that Putin thinks belongs to Russia. Conversely, Ukraine is determined to maintain their sovereignty.

In Vance’s tiny and twisted imagination, Russia can be persuaded to end their assault by making economic deals with them for energy and natural resources. These are deals wherein Ukraine is left battered and divided and subjugated to Russia. Meanwhile, Russia gets much of Ukraine, lots of money, and a fair chunk of American subservience. The latter is already evident in Trump’s neglect to do anything about Putin’s recent escalation in Ukraine, or his flying drones over Poland.

Virtually every recommendation offered by Vance benefits Russia and harms Ukraine. And he places the blame for the war on both nations, despite the fact that it was Russia that invaded their peaceful neighbor without provocation. So there is one thing that Vance is making abundantly clear: Putin could not have have bought a better advocate than Donald Trump and his lackey, JD Vance.

TACO Trump Gives Putin Another 2 Weeks – No, Really, 2 Weeks – and He Really Means It This Time

Whenever Donald Trump is asked a question that requires him to make a commitment as to when he will achieve a particular goal, he responds with the vague assurance that it will be completed “in two weeks.” That’s the deadline for everything from his still nonexistent healthcare plan, his infrastructure bill, the release of his tax filings, providing the “irrefutable” evidence that the 2020 election was stolen, and so much more.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump Vladimir Putin

Now we can add to that list Trump’s promise that he will make a decision about what consequences Vladimir Putin will face if he doesn’t agree to a ceasefire in the war that he launched against Ukraine. Not that Trump is ever going to make Putin pay for anything. Trump has still never criticized Putin in any significant way. And with regard to the war, Trump generally blames either President Biden or Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, while always defending his mentor and idol, Putin.

SEE THIS: Trump Admits that He Has Been Protecting Vladimir Putin and Russia From ‘Really Bad Things’

During an Oval Office press avail, Trump was asked whether he had any comment about Russia having bombed an American factory in Ukraine. Rather than expressing the outrage that any rational president would feel, Trump merely said that “I’m not happy about it,” before diverting to bragging about his allegedly having ended ten other wars (he didn’t). Returning the question at hand, Trump said that…

“We’ll see what happens. I think over the next two weeks, we’re going to find out which way it’s going to go. And I better be very happy.”

That’s right. Two weeks. Again. This was already one week after Trump met with Putin in Alaska. Prior to the Alaska summit, Trump gave Putin a 50 day deadline to agree to a ceasefire. Within a few days Trump reduced that to ten days. However, even that deadline passed without any action on Trump’s part.

Then after another round of meetings with Zelenskyy and European Union leaders, Trump has still done nothing and, uncharacteristically, said little. What little he has said has suggested that the impasse is the fault of Zelenskyy for not immediately agreeing to Putin’s terms, which include surrendering parts of Ukraine and foregoing NATO membership. And for that Trump thinks that he deserves a Nobel Peace prize. NBC News reported some additional comments by Trump…

“I’m going to make a decision as to what we do, and it’s going to be, it’s going to be a very important decision, and that’s whether or not it’s massive sanctions or massive tariffs, or both. Or do we do nothing and say, ‘It’s your fight.’”

Well, that settles it then. Trump is strongly declaring his intention to do something, or nothing at all. Which perfectly encapsulates Trump’s notoriously wishy-washy approach to diplomacy. Putin will surely be persuaded by this stalwart display of spinelessness. And knowing that Trump has given him only two weeks to respond puts even more pressure on him to comply. Because once that deadline has been reached Trump will be forced to…come up with a new deadline. Because, as we know, Trump Always Chickens Out.

‘Hot as a Pistol’? Trump Quotes Putin Using the Exact Same Words that Trump Uses About Himself

The highly anticipated summit between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin took place on Friday where the two leaders were set to discuss the state of the war that Russia started against Ukraine. The expectations for progress toward peace were essentially met because no one really thought that Putin wanted peace, or that Trump had the diplomatic chops to get anything worthwhile done.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump Vladimir Putin

On the other hand, everyone knew that Trump is an ego-driven bucket of narcissistic slop who can be manipulated with the slightest offerings of undeserved flattery. And most notably, Putin knew this and took full advantage of it. Putin actually has Trump believing that they have a unique camaraderie that permits him to communicate with the Russian dictator as if via a secret language.

SEE THIS: The Putin Whisperer: Trump Brags that ‘Putin Speaks to Me, He Doesn’t Speak to Anybody Else’

The rapport that Trump has with Putin was revealed during a post-summit interview that Trump gave to Sean Hannity of Fox News (who else?). Trump spoke to Hannity immediately following the summit, before speaking to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy or any of our NATO allies. And while there was much disgorging of solipsistic propaganda, one part stood out as emblematic of Trump’s narrow focus on his singularly deranged perception of reality. He said that…

“Vladimir said just a little while ago, he said ‘I’ve never seen anybody do so much so fast.’ He said, ‘your country is, like, hot as a pistol,’ and a year ago he thought it was dead. Everybody thought it was dead.”

There are only two possible responses to that comment. Either it was an invention of Trump’s overactive and conceit-riddled imagination, or Putin was fluffing him to get a favorable reaction.

However, there is something else peculiar about Trump’s comment that needs to be recognized. Trump’s words, that he is attributing to Putin, are identical to the words that he has previously used himself to describe what he thinks is the great success he’s had in his second occupation of the White House. In June Trump spoke to the Wall Street Journal who reported that…

“President Trump told the Wall Street Journal on Sunday that he had completely changed the image of the United States since returning to office, speaking just hours after the Pentagon conducted military strikes against Iran.

“‘Our country is hot as a pistol,’ Trump said in a brief interview. ‘Six months ago, our country was cold as ice. It was dead.'”

Trump claims that Putin told him that "your country is, like, hot as a pistol," and "a year ago he thought it was dead."That's funny. Those are the very same words Trump used about America 2 months ago. Who knew that Putin speaks exactly the same as Trump? Or is it vice versa?

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-08-16T17:18:44.617Z

What are the odds that Putin chose the very same words to compliment Trump at yesterday’s summit? What’s more, these are words that Trump has used repeatedly for a variety of subjects. He used them to describe his failing Twitter ripoff, saying that Truth Social is hot as a pistol.” And of course, he used them to describe himself saying that “I was sort of like a hot guy. I was hot as a pistol.”

A couple of other interesting moments from the Hannity interview include Trump attacking Gavin Newsom as a pretext to lying about Putin and mail-in voting (which 30 other countries permit, including Russia)…

And then there was Trump’s attempt to play an elementary school trick on Putin, that didn’t work. (Okay, maybe not, but what the heck? It’s not implausible considering his actual maturity level)…

Trump tries to get Putin to look down so he can flick his nose. But Putin doesn't fall for it. ???That pretty much sums up how badly Trump flubbed the summit.

Trump Admits that He Has Been Protecting Vladimir Putin and Russia From ‘Really Bad Things’

The evidence that Donald Trump has been perhaps the best investment that Vladimir Putin ever made is difficult to dismiss. Throughout his political life, Trump has frequently lambasted America’s allies, while he has conspicuously declined to criticize Putin or condemn his abhorrent activities, including war crimes in Ukraine and elsewhere.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin

Until recently. This week Trump has diverted from his notoriously pro-Putin stance to offer some mild rebukes following Putin’s failure to heed Trump’s impotent demand that he stop bombing civilians in Ukraine. Instead, Putin escalated his attacks, proving how little respect for, or fear of, Trump Putin has. Never mind Trump’s promise to end the war in 24 hours with a single phone call before he was even inaugurated. Or his claims that the war would never have happened if Trump were in office at the time Putin invaded. Which Trump doesn’t even believe…

SEE THIS: Trump Destroys His Own Claim that Russia Wouldn’t Have Invaded Ukraine if He Were President

On Tuesday morning Trump posted a comment on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, wherein he made an unexpected confession. He wrote that

“What Vladimir Putin doesn’t realize is that if it weren’t for me, lots of really bad things would have already happened to Russia, and I mean REALLY BAD. He’s playing with fire!”

And there you have it. Trump is admitting that he has been been protecting Putin and Russia from some unspecified “really bad things.” So while Putin was massacring innocent Ukrainian civilians, destroying the nation’s infrastructure, and insisting that it doesn’t have any right to exist, Trump was shielding Russia from any harm that might have come its way.

That’s been noticeably true as Trump halted America’s military and intelligence support for Ukraine. He also refused to impose any new sanctions on Russia, or to seize the billions of dollars of frozen Russian assets in U.S. control. And Trump has been Russia’s strongest advocate to reenter the world community in organizations such as the G7.

This latest missive by Trump follows his complaint that Putin “has gone absolutely CRAZY.” Is Trump pretending to be surprised by this transformation in his Russian BFF? If not, and he truly believes it, that’s even worse. In another Truth Social post Trump yammered that…

“I’ve always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin of Russia, but something has happened to him. He has gone absolutely CRAZY! He is needlessly killing a lot of people.”

Trump says that Putin "has gone absolutely CRAZY."But Putin is doing exactly what he's done since he invaded Ukraine 3 years ago. And Trump, who said he would end the war in 24 hours, is responsible for prolonging it by halting the support America was giving to Ukraine.

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-05-26T08:02:15.663Z

However, Putin hasn’t changed one bit. His brutal slaughter of Ukrainians has been going on for three years. But Trump saw fit to abandon and betray our ally by cutting off aid. The only person with more Ukrainian blood on his hands than Putin is Trump. And yet, Trump is still deferential to Putin, while he attacks and insults President Zelenskyy as a “dictator” who doesn’t really want the war to end.

If Trump were genuinely interested in ending what he has called “a bloodbath” (he isn’t), Trump could simply restore military support for Ukraine and slap more sanctions on Russia. But neither Ukraine, nor concerned Americans, should hold their breath waiting for Trump to do something decent and humane. As the old saying goes, you can’t squeeze decency from a malignant narcissist.

Trump Destroys His Own Claim that Russia Wouldn’t Have Invaded Ukraine if He Were President

In the seven short weeks that Donald Trump has resumed his occupation of the White House (yeah, it does seem like seven years), there have innumerable atrocities and abhorrent assaults on the American people and the Constitution.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin

From day one Trump embarked on a malevolent mission to undermine democracy, persecute his political foes, and reshape the republic into an autocratic oligarchy that elevates the wealthy at the expense of average citizens. And at the top of Trump’s list of priorities was to enshrine himself as the Messiah of America who all must worship and obey.

SEE THIS: Trump Cult Priestess, Karoline Leavitt, Preaches to ‘Trust in Trump’ to Bring Economic Salvation

The daily disgorging of chaos emanating from the Trump White House often has the effect of burying one calamity or another as Trump introduces something new to deflect from whatever horror has deluged the news cycle for the moment. And in recent days that is particularly true about the war in Ukraine that seems to have disappeared from the media spotlight lately.

Well, now that Trump and his tariffs have caused an economic meltdown that is likely to result in a recession, he is dredging up the Ukraine war, but only to exploit it in an effort to take the heat off of his latest presidential blunder. Trump posted a comment on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, that declared that…

“Russia has to get moving. Too many people ere DYING, thousands a week, in a terrible and senseless war – A war that should have never happened, and wouldn’t have happened, if I were President!!!”

This might be a good time to remind everyone that, during the 2024 campaign, Trump swore that if he were elected he would forge a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine in 24 hours with a single phone call before he was even inaugurated. He’s been in office now for two and half months and has achieved less than nothing as Russia has actually escalated their bombing of civilians in Ukraine.

Trump has meekly complained about this previously a couple of times, begging Russia to come to the table. Zelenskyy has already promised to do so. But Trump’s buddy and idol, Vladimir Putin is ignoring him and probably laughing at him. Which makes Trump’s frequent claim that this war would never have started in the first place if he had been president at the time seem pitifully impotent.

Trump’s claim that his presence alone would have prevented Russia from invading Ukraine implies that Putin would be either too afraid of Trump to take such aggressive action, or that Putin so admired Trump that his influence would be irresistible. But it’s clear now that neither of those scenarios have an iota of truth to them. If Putin won’t listen to Trump now when he’s telling him to seek a peaceful resolution, it’s safe to assume that he wouldn’t have listened when he was first plotting to invade.

Therefore, Trump is what professional political analysts call “full of shit!” And consequently, so is his press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, who told reporters on Friday that…

“The president has been quite clear that he has been continually frustrated with both sides of this conflict and he wants to see this fighting end. He wants the war to end. We believe we have leverage in negotiating a deal, a peace deal. And we’re going to use that leverage. And the president is determined to see this through.”

Leavitt on Russia's war on Ukraine: "The president has been quite clear that he has been continually frustrated with both sides of this conflict."

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2025-04-11T17:26:11.331Z

See? Trump wants the war to end. Zelenskyy wants the war to end. Only Putin, who could end the war unilaterally in seconds, is stubbornly insisting that the war continue. And this is further evidence that, despite Leavitt’s remarks, Trump has no leverage whatsoever.

But then, Leavitt’s perspective of the world is light years away from reality. When addressing Trump’s visit to Walter Reed Medical Center for his annual physical, Leavitt responded to a preposterous question (by a “reporter” with pillow guy Mike Lindell’s network) that began by stating that “Trump looks healthier than ever before,” with an equally preposterous answer…

Trump "looks healthier than ever before"??? He looks like orange painted roadkill. Now that the Trump regime has packed the White House press pool with MAGA sycophants, and banished credible journalists, this is the kind of moronic, worshipful questions we can expect from now on.

Crybaby Trump Demands a Televised Public Apology From Zelenskyy to Satisfy His Hurt Fee Fees

Last Friday Donald Trump hosted Ukrainian President Zelenskyy at the White House for what was billed as a meeting to affirm U.S. support for Ukraine’s battle against Russia’s imperialistic aggression. The meeting was also supposed to include the signing of an agreement for the U.S. to share in revenue from Ukraine’s rich mineral deposits.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Wah

In other words, it was an attempt by Trump to extort profits from Ukraine’s natural resources in exchange for protection from Trump’s pal Vladimir Putin, who would also benefit from the mineral rights agreement. This is how the Mafia operates, by making threats to coerce innocent parties to hand over their wealth or suffer the consequences of not submitting. It’s a tactic that Trump learned from his friends in organized crime.

SEE THIS: Was Trump’s Ambush of Zelenskyy Preplanned, Including Stacking the Press Pool with Kremlin Hacks?

Unfortunately, Trump purposely drove the meeting into a ditch by throwing another of his hallmark tantrums and berating Zelenskyy for not being nice enough to Putin (who invaded his country and was still massacring his people), or grateful enough to Trump (who is always only interested in what he can get for himself). Consequently, the mineral rights deal was not signed, and Trump backed out of continuing support for Ukraine’s defense.

On Monday morning Trump’s team laid out their terms for restarting negotiations with Zelenskyy. In a response to Fox News White House correspondent, Peter Doocy, Trump demanded that Zelenskyy apologize to Trump. For what? For having the patience and grace to sit through the infantile harangues of Trump and JD Vance without shouting back with the same ferocity, despite how much it was deserved? Or for calmly maintaining his composure even though the fate of his nation and people was being threatened by a petulant whiner? Here is how Doocy described the statement from the Trump camp…

“I have been told by a senior official here that nothing is gonna happen with this minerals deal until Zelenskyy goes in front of cameras and makes an explicit public apology for the way that he behaved himself – behaved in the Oval Office with that meeting.”

If it's true that Trump won't deal with Zelenskyy until he gets a "public apology," it only confirms that he's a sniveling whiner with the emotional maturity of 2 year old. And that he couldn't care less about the human cost. And of course it proves that #TrumpIsUnfitForOffice

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-03-03T17:46:10.134Z

So the Trump regime’s position is that a war started by Trump’s idol and role model, Putin, would continue unless Zelenskyy kissed Trump’s…let’s say ring. And Trump is insisting that the smooching be televised in a melodramatic reality TV style moment. Because that’s how simplistically narcissists like Trump view the world.

Furthermore, Trump has pre-announced the terms of any agreement between Ukraine and Russia, which would require Ukraine to concede its land and sovereignty, including the right to join NATO. As for Russia, Trump has not proposed that they make any concessions whatsoever. And this is the dealmaking prowess that Trump likes to brag about, where you give away everything before any negotiations have even begun?

Trump literally told Zelenskyy that he “doesn’t have any cards” to play. That’s not actually true, but more to the point, smart poker players generally don’t tell their opponents they have lousy hands. But Trump did so in front of international news media, including Russia’s state-owned media, TASS, that Trump’s staff later said was not approved to be there. But they still can’t explain how they got into the Oval Office in the first place. Can just anyone wander in without being noticed?

Where things stand now is that Trump is waiting for Zelenskyy to make a public apology. The best that he is likely to get is an expression of regret that the meeting didn’t go better. Which was entirely Trump’s fault. Because he is too cowardly and beholden to Putin to seek anything that is in the interests of Ukraine, or even America. And he posted that sentiment on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, Monday morning, saying that “We Should Spend Less Time Worrying About Putin.”

Is anyone surprised Trump wants to spend less time worrying about his idol & role model, Vladimir Putin, who is a brutal tyrant & war criminal? But instead he tries to instill fear of imaginary crime waves, that for some reason he associates with Europe. #TrumpIsUnfitForOffice

Fox News Says Trump’s Ugly Oval Office Attack on Zelenskyy Merits a Nobel Peace Prize

The faithful devotion that Donald Trump has for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin was revealed yet again in a spine-chilling display of submission and betrayal by an America “president” who has fully committed to selling out his country to satisfy his insatiable lust for power, wealth, and the adoration of a flock of gullible rubes.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump

On Friday Trump had a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the Oval Office. It was billed as a routine diplomatic affair wherein the two leaders would sign an agreement for the U.S. to continue its support for Ukraine against the imperialist, genocidal aggression of Russia, in exchange for some of the abundant mineral rights held by Ukraine. Unfortunately, the meeting didn’t go as planned. Or did it?

SEE THIS: Was Trump’s Ambush of Zelenskyy Preplanned, Including Stacking the Press Pool with Kremlin Hacks?

The tantrum thrown by Trump was an embarrassment to him, his administration, and sadly, the international reputation of the United States. In a few short minutes Trump confirmed, on a world stage, his ignorance of world affairs, as well as his infantile belligerence, and his callous insensitivity to the suffering of our allies. The response from the world’s free democracies was unanimous: Trump was out of line and off his rocker!

There were, however, those who regarded Trump’s hysterics as admirable, and even as “a lot of male alpha energy coming from Trump.” That fangirl commentary came from a Fox News co-host of Fox and Friends, Rachel Campos-Duffy, who happens to be married to Trump’s Transportation Secretary and former Fox News hack, Sean Duffy. But what she went to say was even more ridiculous…

“I think we have to get back to the central point, I think the most important point, that Donald Trump made in this whole thing, ‘You are gambling with World War III.’

“This was about peace ultimately. There’s a lot of drama, and we can break down everybody’s feelings, but in the end, I think what’s remarkable is that we have a president who’s willing to do anything to bring about world peace. Man, if he doesn’t get the Nobel Peace Prize after this, that thing means nothing.

Fox News host this morning after the disastrous Oval Office meeting between Trump and President Zelensky:If Trump doesn't get the Nobel Peace Prize after this, that thing means nothing. ?

Republicans Against Trumpism (@rpsagainsttrump.bsky.social) 2025-03-01T16:10:32.003Z

SERIOUSLY? A Nobel Peace Prize for deliberately sabotaging any rational plan for peace? For advocating surrender to the madman who started the war? For insulting the hero who has been standing steadfast against Putin’s aggression and has been defending liberty and democracy?

What Campos-Duffy believes is “peace” is giving up land and treasure to the enemy in hopes that such compliance will stop him from demanding anything more. Which is not the case with most bullies.

That’s also what Trump believes. And when she says that Trump is “willing to do anything to bring about world peace,” she’s right, in a way. He’s willing to sink to any low in order to appease a brutal thug. And after laying down for the tyrant, get an award for advancing peace?

Trump likewise regards himself as a peacemaker. And he is still envious of President Obama who did receive a Nobel Peace Prize. Immediately following his ambush of Zelenskyy, Trump told a gaggle of right-wing “reporters” that…

“He’s gotta say, ‘I want to make PEACE. He doesn’t have to stand there and say about Putin this, Putin that. All negative things…He doesn’t have the cards.”

Trump thinks that President Zelenskyy should be nicer to Putin, who invaded his country and is massacring his people. And he asserts that Zelenskyy "doesn't have the cards." That isn't negotiating from strength. That's surrender.

Trump seems to think that Zelenskyy doesn’t want peace. Because if he did want it, he would be saying nice, positive things about Putin. What’s more, Trump repeated his defeatist assertion that Zelenskyy “doesn’t have the cards.” So the alleged author of “The Art of Deal” thinks that telling the other players that you have a lousy hand is an effective negotiating tactic. Particularly when that isn’t even true. Just fold and give your opponent the whole pot.

Lest anyone come away with the impression that Trump’s only allies are the Trump-fluffers on fox News, we need to appreciate that he is not alone. He also has support from some of the nastiest totalitarians on the planet, which is a club he is anxious to join. For instance…

Russian politico, Dmitry Medvedev, gives #PutinsPoodle, Trump, praise for his "slap down" of Zelenskyy. Like a dog getting a treat for doing a trick.Hungary's dictator, Orbán, also came out in support of Trump's tantrum against Zelenskyy, but inadvertently notes that Putin is weak for making war.

Was Trump’s Ambush of Zelenskyy Preplanned, Including Stacking the Press Pool with Kremlin Hacks?

The first month of Donald Trump’s reoccupation of the White House has been the sort of colossal calamity that many people predicted and warned about. But even with the expectation that he would preside over an unprecedented betrayal of American values, Trump manages to exceed even the worst forecasts by the most pessimistic observers.

Donald Trump Angry

To prove his prowess at screwing up the affairs of state, Trump met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Friday, ostensibly to finalize an agreement to provide continued military assistance to Ukraine, in exchange for a ransom of Ukrainian minerals to satisfy Trump’s transactional greed. The meeting, however, did not go as planned. Or did it?

It did not take long for Trump to transform the diplomatic discussion into a verbal venting wherein Trump, lashed out with uncontrolled vitriol at Zelenskyy. Trump even veered off on a “Russia, Russia, Russia” rant, whining about his impeachment and prior conflicts with Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton. Both Trump and his vice-president unleashed ugly attacks that had little to nothing to do with the purpose of the meeting. [The full video of the exchange is here, if you have the stomach for it]

Trump engaged in ego-driven blather, complaining that “You gotta be more thankful. Because, lemme tell you, you don’t have the cards.” He is typically focused on forcing people to pay undeserved homage to him. Vance joined in with a rather telling admission, saying that “I think it’s disrespectful for you to come into the oval office and try to litigate this in front of the American media.”

That’s right. According to Vance, Zelenskyy is somehow at fault for Trump blowing up at him in front of the media that Trump invited. A suspicious cynic might surmise that Trump planned this Oval Office putsch in order to derail the $500 billion mineral deal that Trump might have recently learned was not as advantageous for Trump, and his client Russia, as he thought. As NBC News reported

“According to a 2023 study by Forbes Ukraine, the country’s rare earth and other critical minerals could be worth as much as $14.8 trillion.” […and that…] “There are no current rare earth projects underway in Ukraine and experts say it will take years to get projects off the ground, possibly up to a decade.”

So Trump needed a a reason to ditch the deal. Preferably with witnesses. Which makes this a good time to point out the specific representatives of the press that Trump invited to this meeting. As media watchers know, the Trump regime has recently been making changes to the way they interact with the press. They have outright banned some outlets from covering the president, and have ended the century-long practice of having the independent White House Correspondents Association assign journalists to cover Trump and Company.

Consequently, longstanding, credible journalists from the Associated Press and Reuters were not allowed to cover the Zelenskyy meeting. However, extremist right-wing outlets were on the White House’s approved list. But that isn’t all. Russia’s own state news agency, TASS, somehow got into the room. At least until someone noticed…

Are we supposed to believe that the correspondent from TASS was just in the neighborhood and secretly slipped in behind the reporter from Newsmax? This meeting was not in the White House Press Briefing Room. It was the Oval Office. Can just anyone get in there without being credentialed or noticed? Or did Trump arrange for the Kremlin’s flack to snag a pass, and then deny any involvement when it became known? Will anyone else in the press ask that question?

Among the reporters who were approved was Brian Glenn of of the Trump-fluffing MAGA webnet, Real America’s Voice. He may be better known as Marjorie Taylor Greene’s boyfriend. He managed to get a question in about why Zelenskyy wasn’t wearing a suit. Funny… Glenn never asked Elon Musk why he attends Oval Office meetings in a t-shirt and baseball cap.

Russian TV Host: What Trump Says is ‘So Correct…In Total Alignment With the Way We See Things’

Anyone who has been paying attention for the past several years is well aware that Donald Trump has an alarming affection for Russian president, Vladimir Putin, that is at best a slobbering infatuation, and at worst downright treasonous. He clearly idolizes Putin and envies his totalitarian control over Russia.

Donald Trump Vladimir Putin

Trump’s festering fondness for Putin has not gone unnoticed by Russian officials, operatives, and media. They have frequently expressed their agreement with Trump’s positions on foreign affairs, particularly those regarding Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and Trump’s advocacy of Russian demands for concessions of territory by Ukraine and barring their membership in NATO. Russian media has even effusively praised Trump’s choices for his Cabinet.

Another example of Trump’s obeisance to Putin, and Russia’s appreciation for it, came recently in the remarks of a Russian television host, Vladimir Solovlov, commenting about Trump’s public support for Russian interests in contradiction to long held American policies. Soloslov said that…

“The phrases he’s saying are so deep and so correct, they are in total alignment with the way we see things.”

Well, that’s comforting, isn’t it? At least to Putin it is. And Soloslov could not be more accurate in his assessment. What follows are a few instances of Trump flunkies taking Russia’s side on matters that oppose U.S. interests…

BARTIROMO: Can you acknowledge that Russia is the aggressor here?WALTZ: Well, you know what? Who would you rather have going toe to toe with the likes of Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong Un, Xi or anyone else — Joe Biden or Donald Trump? He's the deal maker in chief.

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2025-02-23T16:21:09.029Z

Donald Trump himself, who is a big coward who will never say a bad word about Putin.

No wonder the Russians are so thrilled with Trump. They couldn’t have a more devoted spokesman. Nor one with greater ability to advance Russian interests and sabotage those of the U.S. Yet somehow the MAGA cultists who support him remain loyal despite the obvious betrayal of America by Trump and his Klan.

And the Republicans in Congress are even worse. They know better, but are so scared and squishy that they set aside any sense of patriotism in favor of Dear Leader’s dictates. At some point this will come crashing down around them and their treason will be forever etched into history. In the meantime, the rest of us need to stay vigilant and not let their campaign to discourage us succeed.

UPDATE: The U.S. voted against a United Nations resolution condemning Russia for invading Ukraine. The U.S. joined Russia and North Korea in that vote. Which tells you whose side Trump is really on.
