Trump’s Attorney Genuflect, Todd Blanche, Virtually Admits that He’s a Flaming Trump Toady

When Donald Trump nominated Todd Blanche to be Attorney General there were immediate concerns raised about his resume that were overtly disqualifying. Not the least of which was that he was Trump’s personal criminal defense lawyer, a role from which his legal obligations never expire absent extraordinary circumstances.

Donald Trump and Todd Blanche puppet

Blanche is a devoted election denier. He is one of the architects of Trump’s slush fund to reward insurrectionists who assaulted police officers on January 6th, 2021. His “Justice” Department has launched numerous investigations and prosecutions of Trump critics. He has been instrumental in suppressing the Jeffrey Epstein files. It doesn’t take a stable genius to recognize that Blanche is an imminent threat to American law and order, and even democracy…

SEE THIS: Trump Mulls Declaring a National Emergency to Rig Elections, Says ‘Stranger Things Have Happened’

Upon confirmation, Blanche wasted no time demonstrating that he would always remain loyal to Trump, rather than to the law or the Constitution. He was asked about that in an interview Sunday morning on Meet the Press. The host, Kristen Welker, noted that former Trump Attorney General, Bill Barr, once told him that his election denials were “detached from reality.” Which led to the following exchange with Blanche…

Welker: If you were faced with a similar situation, something that you did not think met this standard, the legal standard in your mind, would you stand up to the president?
Blanche: I will always stand up for what’s right. The president does not expect any of his leaders, including me, to just say yes to him no matter what he says. So of course there’s vigorous back and forth with every Cabinet member and the president of the United States. Which is exactly what president Trump expects.

There is this extraordinarily false narrative that the president wakes up in the morning and calls me and says, ‘Todd, go prosecute X or Y.’ He does not do that. He has never done that. He will never do that. So if there is something that he wants to do, but he needs to know that there is a challenge, or that we can’t do it, of course I will tell him.

There is an abundance of bullshittery in that reply. Let’s break it down, shall we? To begin with, Blanche’s response to whether he would ever stand up to Trump was that “I will always stand up for what’s right.” Which is not the same thing as standing up to Trump. After all, he seems to believe that Trump is always right. Consequently, he’s saying that he will always stand up FOR Trump, not TO him.

Then Blanche says that Trump doesn’t expect his staff to always agree with him. REALLY? Trump is notorious for terminating anyone who isn’t unflinchingly adoring and supportive. Which is why he keeps scheduling Cabinet meetings where he forces his flunkies to praise him for a couple of cringeworthy hours.

Next Blanche shoots down the notion that Trump calls him with instructions on who to prosecute, or to cease prosecution. So we are expected to believe that it’s just a coincidence that only Trump’s critics are being persecuted, while cases against his friends are dropped. Not to mention his blatant bias with pardons.

What’s more, Trump wouldn’t even have to call Blanche. Trump makes his desires known with daily posts to his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social. So Trump’s underlings know exactly what he wants of them, and they obey like good little fascist minions.

Blanche wraps up by reiterating that if Trump “needs to know that there is a challenge, or that we can’t do” one of his requests, that Blanche will tell him. Once again, that is not standing up to him if he asks for something that improper or illegal. It only addresses whether it is doable.

So the bottom line is that Blanche will do anything Trump asks if he can. Which makes him unfit to serve as Attorney General. And shame on the Republicans in the Senate who know this and confirmed him anyway.

Trump Plots to Evade Senate Vote for Todd Blanche So He Can Keep His Slush Fund and Immunity

Trump’s approval rating has been spiraling downward for months. This week three reputable national polls have documented this decline. According to these surveys Trump is now wallowing in the low thirties, a depth that is lower than at any time in either of his occupations of the White House.

Donald Trump fear

Among the consequences of Trump’s collapsing reputation is the softening of support from his Republican cohorts in Congress. He is finding it more difficult to get legislation passed as representatives and senators are realizing that they have less to fear from Trump than they do from voters. And Trump appears to be realizing it too.

SEE THIS: Trump FREAKS OUT Over a Democratic Proposal: ‘They Do This, and the Republican Party is DEAD!’

On Thursday Trump was busy doing what he regards as critical presidenty stuff: posting deranged rants on his dedicated propaganda platform, Truth Social. Included in his latest batch of bullshittery was a comment that, on the surface, was an affirmation of his support for his acting Attorney General, Todd Blanche. But on closer examination it was a confession of his commitment to corruption. Trump wrote that…

“Todd Blanche is a STAR, and everyone knows it! He has the potential to go down as one of the Greatest Attorney Generals of All Time. However, John Cornyn, of Texas, and Thom Tillis, of North Carolina, both of whom I refused to Endorse, and whose political careers have been ended by my action, are refusing to vote for this Great Nominee. […]

“I have no objection to temporarily withdrawing Todd’s name, if they do not do the right thing, and putting him back after Cornyn and Tillis are out of office.”

If Blanche is a “STAR,” he is a red dwarf that is smaller and dimmer than others. And everyone knows it. More to the point, Trump is very perturbed (his resting emotional state) that a couple of Republican senators are reluctant to rubber stamp his nominee to become Attorney General. It’s true that Trump contributed to their senate careers coming to end. However, it’s also true that Trump was ignorantly blind that losing their support would be a predictable result of sabotaging their reelection.

Trump’s solution to this problem is to threaten to leave Blanche on as “acting” Attorney General until Tillis and Cornyn are out of office. There is some legal ambiguity as to how long Blanche could serve in an acting capacity. However, informed legal analysis suggests that it could be indefinitely.

Nevertheless, there are some problems with Trump’s plot to circumvent the Constitution and keep his personal criminal defense lawyer the head of the “Justice” Department. First of all, both Tillis and Cornyn might very well be replaced by Democrats in the November midterm elections. In North Carolina, former Gov. Roy Cooper is currently way ahead of his GOP opponent for the Tillis seat. In Texas, James Talarico is making an impressively strong bid for Cornyn’s seat.

If the Democrats win those races, and a few more in other states, Trump won’t be able to confirm Blanche, or any other crackpot nominee that Trump puts forward for the remaining two years of his lame duck presidency. And make no mistake about it, Blanche is a bona fide crackpot.

FOR INSTANCE: HUH? Trump’s Acting Attorney General: There’s a Ton of Evidence that the 2020 Election Was Rigged

Trump’s ultimatum is profoundly un-American and blatantly corrupt. All he needs to do to get the votes of Tillis and Cornyn is to have Blanche put in writing a revocation of the “weaponization” slush fund that he (as president) negotiated in a settlement with himself (as head of the Treasury Department/IRS). That fund was implemented to reward the criminals that stormed Congress on January 6, 2021.

By refusing to revoke the settlement, Trump is admitting that he would prefer to withdraw Blanche’s nomination, and have him serve in the sketchy “acting” status indefinitely, rather than have Blanche put in writing the revocation of the Seditionist Reward Scheme that he claims to have abandoned. So apparently, Trump has never intended to abandon the fund, and Blanche knows it.

[UPDATE: The next day Trump told reporters that the fund was dead. But saying it’s dead doesn’t make it dead. He can revive it any time he wants. He won’t put it in writing. Why not? He is literally stalling his own AG confirmation over that. And he still insists that he wants to compensate the criminally seditious rioters.]

Furthermore, Trump is also clinging to the immunity from IRS audits that his self-negotiated settlement also stipulated. That’s an extension of Trump’s broader intentions to evade legal accountability for his criminal acts, which was a primary motivation for his running for reelection.

None of this should surprise anyone who has been paying attention to Trump’s time in office. He has repeatedly demonstrated his aversion to the law and the Constitution. He files lawsuits at every opportunity to violate settled law. He governs by executive orders, then ignores the court rulings that strike them down. And he issues flagrantly unlawful orders covering everything from tariffs, to government terminations, to his reckless fiasco in Iran.

So it’s no wonder that such a president insists on having a partisan Attorney General, who is loyal only to him rather than to the Constitution, to protect him from the consequences of his criminal acts. It’s a plan that has worked to some degree, so far. But after November, Trump may hit a few speed bumps on his road to tyranny.

Trump Flunky Todd Blanche Won’t Admit He’s Trump’s Friend, But Does Admit that ‘I’m His Lawyer’

The long awaited confirmation hearing for Todd Blanche to become Donald Trump’s next Attorney General, and official “Justice” Department apologist, took place on Wednesday. And to no one’s surprise it was a contentious affair that featured Blanche getting fluffed by glassy-eyed Republican MAGA cultists, and grilled by righteously outraged Democrats.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump

The nomination of Blanche is a particularly egregious abuse of power by Trump, whose sole criteria for the post of Attorney Genuflect is how loyal he will be to Trump, rather than to the Constitution or the American people. Among the prerequisites is adhering to the preposterous belief that Trump won the presidential election in 2020.

SEE THIS: HUH? Trump’s Acting Attorney General: There’s a Ton of Evidence that the 2020 Election Was Rigged

Throughout the hearing Blanche steadfastly demonstrated his allegiance to Trump in the most humiliating manner. His devotion was bluntly displayed in the answer he gave to Republican Senator John Kennedy in the following exchange…

Kennedy: Are you and president Trump friends?
Blanche: I’m his lawyer…was his lawyer. I’m not sure there are very many people who have ever had a criminal defense attorney who calls that person their friend.

In that response Blanche not only carelessly let it slip that he is still Trump’s lawyer, but he didn’t actually deny being his friend as well. Only that it would unusual. But then, nothing is “usual” about Trump and his relationships. And his relationship with Blanche includes this affectionate moment a few weeks ago when Blanche drooled that…

“If [Trump] chooses to nominate somebody else and asks me to go do something else, I will say ‘Thank you very much. I love you sir.'”

So Trump and Blanche are actually more than friends. Trump’s lover was challenged by Democrats on a multitude of issues that exposed his disqualifying biases and inability to be impartial with regard to his Dear Leader and love interest Trump. Among those issues were…

  • Failing to meet with Jeffrey Epstein’s victims or releasing all the files.
  • Moving Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell to a low security, Camp Fed prison.
  • Supporting Trump’s pardons of hundreds of January 6th insurrectionists, many of whom assaulted police officers.
  • Closing investigations into the ICE murders of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.
  • Presiding over the firing of prosecutors and FBI agents who investigated Trump.
  • Consideration of indicting Trump’s special counsel Jack Smith for perjury.
  • Outlawing the abortion medication mifepristone.
  • Backing Kash Patel despite his alleged improprieties with alcohol, women, and personal travel.
  • Dining with Paramount owners David and Larry Ellison while their merger was still being analyzed.
  • Refusal to show justification for the 66 strikes on boats in the Caribbean that have killed more than 220 people.
  • Pleading ignorance of the $50,000 the FBI reported it gave to ICE boss Tom Homan.
  • Approving Trump’s $ 1.7 billion slush fund as a settlement with the IRS.

Any two or three of those would be more than enough to justify denying Blanche confirmation. But the entire collection is a repulsive resume that represents a historically unfit nominee for Attorney General, or any position of power in government. And yet, most of the Republicans on the Judiciary Committee will vote to confirm Blanche anyway. And if he makes it out of Committee, most of the Republicans in the Senate will do the bidding of Trump.

That doesn’t mean that Blanche’s confirmation is sealed. The partisan split in the Senate is so tight that it would only take a couple of Republicans to show some courage and patriotism to ditch this scoundrel. We’ll see if they can muster that courage when it counts.

WTF Is In Trump’s Taxes That Just Made His US Attorney Say Releasing Them Would ‘Destroy’ Trump?

In the wake of the unprecedented and utterly corrupt settlement that Donald Trump made to shield himself from any tax fraud liability, while rewarding his StormTrumpers and other Trump cultists for their treasonous crimes, Trump’s propaganda squad has been hitting the media trail to sell this barrel of rotten apples to the public.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump

The settlement deal that Trump made was not only corrupt due to the way it granted generous benefits to Trump and his cohorts, but also because he made the deal with himself, since he was both the plaintiff and the defendant in the lawsuit. He was suing the IRS that he presides over. And he agreed to settle with himself on terms that were highly favorable to him. What a surprise. Although he left a little loophole open that Democrats must take advantage of…

SEE THIS: DEMOCRATS: Claim Your Share From Trump’s $1.776 Billion ‘Anti-Weaponization’ Slush Fund

The PR campaign that the Trump regime has embarked upon since announcing this settlement is as incompetent as one might expect from the notoriously incompetent Trump camp. And the latest example is the interview given by Trump’s U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Jay Clayton, to CNBC on Thursday morning.

Replying to questions about Trump’s “Weaponization Slush Fund,” Clayton said that the IRS “intentionally released” Trump’s taxes to embarrass Trump. And that that was the reason for the settlement agreement that created a $1.8 billion slush fund for the criminals and traitors loyal to Trump. Clayton summed up saying that…

“I don’t think we’re gonna be talking about this issue in a week because the American people are gonna say, ‘Look, they leaked his tax returns, they tried to destroy him.”

US attorney for SDNY Jay Clayton defends Trump's taxpayer-funded J6 slush fund: "I don't think we're gonna be talking about this issue in a week because the American people are gonna say, 'Look, they leaked his tax returns, they tried to destroy him. Okay, we resolved that.'"

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2026-05-21T12:09:13.782Z

First of all, it is a flagrant lie that the IRS intentionally released Trump’s taxes. In fact, the IRS didn’t release them at all. They were released by an independent contractor who was working for the IRS during the Trump administration. The contractor was prosecuted and convicted by President Biden’s Justice Department. So by applying Clayton’s logic to the facts, it was the Trump administrations that tried to destroy Trump.

Secondly, the American people are very likely to be talking about this at least until the midterm elections in November. Corruption by the president is a hot topic prior to elections. And Trump has committed more than his share of corruption since his return to the White House. But this time his shameless larceny has even drawn the ire of many Republicans.

Finally, Clayton’s assertion that releasing Trump’s taxes constitutes an effort to “destroy” him is particularly notable. How would leaking his tax returns, like every other president has done in modern times, destroy Trump? Unless, of course, they proved that he was doing something wrong and possibly illegal. So Clayton is effectively raising suspicions that Trump has broken the law and the evidence is in his tax returns which, therefor, must remain secret.

For good measure, Trump’s “acting” Attorney General, Todd Blanche, also sought to defend Trump’s Slush Fund. In doing so he isn’t helping his insistence that he isn’t still “acting” as Trump’s personal criminal defense lawyer. Blanche tried to excuse Trump’s apparent tax fraud during an interview with Paula Reid, CNN’s chief legal affairs correspondent…

Reid: The New York Times has reported that Trump could have owed up to $100 million because of ongoing audits. So are you saying this is not an effort to help him avoid financial liability?
Blanche: That’s the definition of completely made up fake news, and then it becomes real news because they repeat it

REID: The Times has reported that Trump could have owed up to $100 million because of ongoing audits. So are you saying this is not an effort to help him avoid financial liability?BLANCHE: That's the definition of completely made up fake news, and then it becomes real news because they repeat it

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2026-05-21T01:15:58.118Z

Blanche is parroting Trump’s whining about the “fake news” with the same total absence of facts that Trump does. The article in the New York Times was thorough, well documented, and based largely on Trump’s actual financial records. So trying to dismiss it all with a cheap talking point isn’t going to persuade many people that Trump isn’t a crook.

However, Trump and Blanche and Clayton, et al, know all of that. Which is why Trump’s corrupt settlement deal also included a provision that would prohibit the IRS from auditing Trump, his family, and his businesses. Why do you suppose that was stipulated in the settlement? What is he so desperate to conceal? An innocent man would be anxious to reveal proof of his innocence. but Trump couldn’t be acting more guilty if he tried.

DEMOCRATS: Claim Your Share From Trump’s $1.776 Billion ‘Anti-Weaponization’ Slush Fund

Just when you thought that the bar for presidential corruption couldn’t get any lower. Donald Trump demonstrates that he doesn’t know the meaning of the word “bottom.” Or most other words with two syllables or more.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump Rally, Sieg Heil

Earlier this year Trump filed a $10 billion lawsuit against the IRS to pay him reparations for alleged damages from the leaking of his tax returns that revealed that he paid little or taxes for several years. Of course the real victims were the American people who Trump was shortchanging for the fair share of taxes that he owed.

Now Trump’s “Justice” Department is dropping that lawsuit in exchange for creating a $1.776 billion slush fund (get it? 1776?) to compensate the convicted rioters and cop beaters who stormed the Capitol on January 6, 2021, and who he later pardoned. It’s an idea he has been talking about for at least a year.

SEE THIS: Trump Floats Proposal to Pay Reparations for the January 6th Insurrectionists Who Assaulted Cops

Trump is calling this his Anti-Weaponization Fund,” a name that doesn’t really describe the nefarious purposes that it was created for. What Trump means by “weaponization” is any activity that criticizes or interferes with his aspirations of authoritarian rule. The Justice Department outlined the fund saying that…

“The U.S. Department of Justice today announced that as a part of the settlement agreement in President Donald J. Trump v. Internal Revenue Service, the Attorney General established ‘The Anti-Weaponization Fund’ to provide a systematic process to hear and redress claims of others who suffered weaponization and lawfare.” […]

“Per the settlement, plaintiffs will receive a formal apology but no monetary payment or damages of any kind. They have agreed, in exchange for the creation of this fund, to drop their pending lawsuit with prejudice, and also withdraw two administrative claims including for damages resulting from the unlawful raid of Mar-a-Lago and the Russia-collusion hoax.”

The fund, which is already facing challenges in court by Democrats, was manufactured by Trump’s Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, who has also served as Trump’s personal criminal defense lawyer. Blanche will also be administering the “systematic process” referenced in the announcement. I’m sure he’ll be fair. Right? RIGHT?

Furthermore, the references to an “unlawful raid of Mar-a-Lago and the Russia-collusion hoax” are purely Trump’s conspiracy theory lies that provide no legal foundation for any sort of compensation.

Trump’s lawsuit against the IRS, over which he presides, posed a flagrant conflict of ?interest wherein he was effectively suing himself. Trump is now settling with himself just nine before the judge hearing his case was going to rule on whether to dismiss it for its obvious conflicts.

Trump is sending a crystal clear message to those criminals, and those would-be criminals in the future, that he will shield them from any legal liability for their crimes. That message is: TREASON PAYS! If you are a staunch devotee of the Cult of Trump who is willing to break the law and threaten the lives of American citizens, soldiers, law enforcement officers, and congressional representatives, there is a place for you in the ranks of the StormTrumpers. And you may even be able to profit from it.

Making matters worse, it is taxpayers who will be footing the bill for this fund. Which means that all of us will be financing the activities of convicted seditionists and traitors-in-training who seek to undermine democracy. For this and other reasons, the settlement has the typical stench of lawlessness and incompetence that is emblematic of the Trump legal team. The announcement also declared that…

“The Fund will have the power to issue formal apologies and monetary relief owed to claimants. Submission of a claim is voluntary. There are no partisan requirements to file a claim. […] The Fund shall cease processing claims no later than December 1, 2028.”

Note that the expiration date for filing claims is one month before Trump’s term ends. That would prevent any subsequent Democratic president from having any decision making authority over new claims. However, by specifying that “There are no partisan requirements to file a claim,” Trump is leaving open the possibility of Democrats filing claims for compensation for damages due to Trump’s weaponizing of the Justice Department and other agencies of his regime. Democrats should take full advantage of that opportunity.

Those who have been investigated and/or indicted by Trump’s DoJ on phony charges can all file claims. They include Senators Mark Kelly, Elissa Slotkin, and Adam Schiff; political officials James Comey, Letitia James, Jack Smith, Jerome Powell, and John Brennan; journalists and media companies; and every immigrant, citizens or otherwise, who were subject to harassment, incarceration, and/or deportation, by Trump’s ICE thugs. And that’s an abridged list.

So as long as Trump is opening this door, Democrats should leap through it. Not that they can expect to get positive resolutions from Trump’s appointed flunkies, but they can keep the wheels from turning by overloading the fund’s capacity to function efficiently. Hopefully, none of that will be necessary if the legal challenges to the fund succeed. But just in case…

UPDATE I: Trump was asked about his “Reparations for Criminals Fund” and he defended it by lying that he didn’t know about it. As a settlement to his lawsuit he would have to know about it and agree to it. Otherwise there can’t be a settlement.

UPDATE ii: TACO Trump has now abandoned his Seditionist Reward Fund under pressure from his own MAGA Republicans in Congress and the MAGA media.

HUH? Trump’s Acting Attorney General: There’s a Ton of Evidence that the 2020 Election Was Rigged

When Donald Trump is finally evicted from his execrable occupation of the White House, there will be high stakes competitions for who was the most dishonest, dangerous, sycophantic, and/or embarrassing flunky in his confederacy of cultists.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Woman, Fear

Due to the extraordinary “qualifications” of so many on his team, it will be a close race. The contenders will include former Fox News host Pete Hegseth, as Secretary of War Crimes, Pam Bondi as Attorney Genuflect, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Road Kill, Kristi Noem as Homeland Insecurity Secretary, Kash Patel as FBI Deflector, and Stephen Miller as Senior Neo-Fascist Advisor. Of course, Trump himself sets the bar for these incompetents and nutcases…

SEE THIS: Trump Unloads Dozens of Insane Posts, Including Calling for the Arrest of Obama for Treason

Not to be ignored is Trump’s current Acting Attorney General, Todd Blanche, who took over after Bondi flamed out. Blanche is not only a kneejerk Trump devotee, he is also Trump’s personal defense lawyer, which by itself is a conflict of interest so flagrant that he should never have been confirmed for a Justice Department position.

On Sunday morning Blanche was manning his post on Fox News, where most of Trump’s staff spend the majority of their time. Blanche was interviewed by Fox’s official Senior Trump-Fluffer, Maria Bartiromo. And in the course of their discussion Blanche may have taken the lead in the Trumpian Asskissing Olympics. Bartiromo teed him up with a typically softball question concerning Trump’s obsession with having lost the 2020 election…

Bartiromo: The president says all the time that the election was rigged. What have you done about that? Do you have any evidence that the election ws rigged? What can you tell us?
Blanche: Well, there’s a ton of evidence that the election was rigged. That’s not something that the DoJ needs to tell you about. There’s been evidence about that for many, many years. What I can tell you is that we have multiple investigations going on…We’re very focused on finding out whether the right people voted.

Acting AG Todd Blanche: "There's a ton of evidence that the election was rigged. We're very focused on finding out whether the right people voted."

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2026-05-17T14:16:20.202Z

Bartiromo is right that Trump is constantly whining about his humiliating 2020 election loss. Which should trigger the invocation of the 25th Amendment and Trump being thrown out of the White House. But Blanche’s reply was even worse. There is literally zero evidence of any election rigging in 2020. Trump and his minions have had six years to produce any, but despite their promises, have never done done so.

To the contrary, Fox News had to pony up a record $787 million dollars in a settlement for a defamation lawsuit for disseminating that precise lie. And Bartiromo was specifically cited in the case as a participant in that barrage of bullshittery. Although Blanche is surely telling the truth that there are multiple investigations in progress, because that’s all this “Justice” Department does anymore. And we can also believe that he is focused on “whether the right people voted.” By which he means Trump people.

The interview went on to address some specifics about the phony allegations of election rigging. Blanche sought to disinform the already deluded Fox News viewers that illegal voting is major problem that he is diligently striving to fix…

Bartiromo: So what you are saying is that you have in fact seen evidence that people voted who should not have voted. Whether it be through mail-in ballots, ballots coming from empty parking lots, or dead people, whatever, or from illegals. Is that what you’re suggesting?
Blanche: During the Biden administration they didn’t charge a single individual with illegal voting. Just last year we charged dozens. And we’re investigating a ton more. So that’s exactly what I’m saying. We know that there were people who voted that were not eligible to vote. We’ve charged some them. We’ve charged some them in the past year and we’re investigating a tom more right now.

Once again, Blanche is shamelessly lying. First of all, most illegal voting prosecutions are state crimes, not federal. And there more than two hundred combined state and federal cases launched during the Biden administration. For that same period there were dozens of reported federal cases. But it’s important to note that, in both state and federal, the number is insignificantly small considering the hundreds of millions of ballots cast, and none impacted any election outcome.

By comparison, in the past year Trump’s Justice Department charged only four people with illegal voting. They were non-citizens whose votes may have been inadvertently improper because they didn’t understand the law or were misinformed. The bottom line is that Blanche’s numbers regarding the Biden and Trump administrations are exactly the reverse of reality.

The only real work that the Trump administration has done with regard to voting has been to put up obstacles to voting by Democrats, and particularly minorities. Their efforts to redistrict congressional maps and invalidate the historic Voting Rights Act prove that they are scared witless of allowing voters to choose their own representatives.

And they should be scared. Because all the recent polling shows that Trump and Republicans are universally despised by a majority of the electorate. With their prospects in the toilet, Republicans are desperate to rig the election of 2026. They must not be allowed to succeed. But the good news is that they are usually so incompetent that they will screw it up, and wind up hurting themselves.

SUNDOWNING? Trump’s Acute Paranoia Now Extends to His Own White House Staff and Cabinet

The escalating severity of Donald Trump’s psychoses is presenting the nation and the world with unprecedented risks and challenging options for addressing them. While he has always been a malignant narcissist and pathological liar, he is now exhibiting signs of even more dangerous mental impairments that threaten to undermine American democracy.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Trump Fear

Exacerbating Trump’s declining emotional trauma are the polls showing him at record lows. Those abysmal numbers apply to his overall approval, as well as his handling of virtually every issue of significance to the American people, including the war in Iran, tariffs, healthcare, Social Security, housing, and the economy. And yet he is glaringly delusional as to his standing with the public.

SEE THIS: Trump is APPALLED that Nobody is Talking About a CNN Poll With 100% Approval – That Doesn’t Exist

This week it became even more obvious how grave Trump’s descent into madness is. He has developed a debilitating case of paranoia. He is suspicious of everyone with whom he comes in contact. And he is convinced that everyone from journalists, to comedians, to politicians, and even his own staff, are plotting to destroy him. But there may be some truth to the old adage that “Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean everybody isn’t out to get you.”

One particularly revealing example is that Trump’s Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, just distributed a memo threatening the entire White House staff to refrain from leaking anything to the press. She wrote that…

“No staff member within the Executive Office of the President is permitted to speak with members of the news media without the explicit approval of the White House Communications Office. […] Unauthorized leaks will not be tolerated and are subject to sanction up to and including termination.”

In a hilarious feast of irony, that email was, of course, instantly leaked to the press. Apparently there are moles in the White House. And among them are likely to be Wiles and Trump himself. The Wiles threat memo is a blatant contradiction of the claims by Trump’s communications staff that he is the most transparent president ever. To the contrary, he may be the most secretive. Although he preens before the media scrum with uncommon frequency, that can’t be described as transparency if all he does is lie and dodge. For instance, Trump still refuses to release all of the unredacted Epstein files.

What’s more, Wiles decrees that “Unauthorized leaks will not be tolerated.” So then only “authorized leaks” will be allowed? Another way of saying “authorized leaks” is “propaganda.” And the press really should stop disseminating it.

The paranoid state of Trump appears to be serving as a role model for his Cabinet. Last week Trump’s FBI boss, Kash Patel was so outraged by a critical article written about him that he launched an investigation of the author, Sarah Fitzpatrick, and ordered polygraph tests of his senior staff and security detail.

MORE HERE: Trump’s FBI Boss, Kash Patel, Goes After the Reporter Who Exposed Him as an Incompetent Lush

There are additional examples of Trump regime paranoia in his “Justice” Department, where he has directed his Attorneys General (first Pam Bondi and now Todd Blanche) to initiate probes and indictments of anyone who was ever affiliated with an investigation of Trump’s criminal activities, including James Comey, John Brennan, Jerome Powell, Letitia James, and even several members of Congress. He has also orchestrated a massive purge of DoJ lawyers, crippling the Department’s ability to engage in efficient law enforcement.

And through it all, Trump remains focused on the issues that have always mattered most to him – Himself! Although his incompetent attempts at self-exaltation continue to be more humiliating than complimentary…

Trump's post is from a month old poll by the ultra right-wing Napolitan News Service (aka Rasmussen). The question is absurd. Nobody wants Iran to have nukes. In a more recent Napolitan poll, "Only 34% of voters favored the attacks on Iran, while 59% opposed them."

Trump’s INSANE Threats and War Crimes Against Iran are Dismissed by His Acting Attorney General

The “Little Excursion” that Donald Trump took to Iran is turning out to be much more of catastrophic detour than he – or anyone else – could have imagined. Despite his insistence that the war would be short, and that he won it weeks ago, it has escalated into a conflagration that threatens millions of innocent people.

Donald Trump, Insane, Straight Jacket

There are numerous cognitive contradictions in Trump’s diarhetorical outbursts regarding this mission. In addition to Trump’s claim of victory, while continuing to fight, he has said that he is fighting for the Iranian people’s freedom, while slaughtering thousands of them; he has said that the United States doesn’t need any help from Europe, while blasting them for not helping; he has said that the Strait of Hormuz would be easily opened, while unleashing ever more hyperbolic threats if Iran doesn’t open it immediately. He really seems to have no idea what’s going on or what to do.

As a result of his confusion and ignorance, Trump is lashing out wildly. On Tuesday morning he posted a horrific comment on his dedicated propaganda platform, Truth Social, that upped the ante of his unhinged antagonism, warning that “A whole civilization will die tonight.”

Trump's threat to Iran saying that "A whole civilization will die tonight," is more of the grotesquely INSANE babbling of a psychopathic monster bent on genocide. He must not be allowed to carry out that threat. He shouldn't even be able make it without severe legal consequences

That sort of bombastic derangement is obviously intolerable. It adds to his prior advocacy of war crimes wherein he called for civilian infrastructure in Iran (power plants, bridges, etc.) to be destroyed. It ought to trigger immediate actions to remove Trump from office by either impeachment or the 25th Amendment. Those actions would require Trump’s Cabinet and/or the Congress to stand up. And while Democratic members of Congress are doing so, those remain difficult solutions at present.

Unfortunately, Trump’s “Justice” Department isn’t going to be any help in the pursuit of justice. Trump has managed to transform the DoJ into an arm of his personal defense law firm. And although he recently fired his bootlicking Attorney General, Pam Bondi, the “acting” Attorney General, Todd Blanche, may be even worse. During a Tuesday morning press conference, he was asked about the war crimes that Trump has been accused of…

Reporter: A number of military and legal scholars have raised questions about bombing a nation’s bridges and energy infrastructure as a possible war crime. What is DOJ’s analysis of that position, and could you give us a sense what you are advising for the White House?
Blanche: The Department of Justice, as it always does, supports the Department of War [which doesn’t exist], the White House, the Department of State, and our intelligence communities…we provide counsel to them and we have been doing that.

Well, that clears that up, doesn’t it? Blanche was asked what his advice would be for Trump, and he responding by saying that he gives Trump advice. Gee thanks.

The matter of war crimes is hardly a question at this point. There are no credible legal analysts who would dispute that Trump’s threats, if carried out, would be grossly illegal, as well as immoral. And the negligence of Blanche and others in the administration make them just as culpable for the crimes as Trump.

It is precisely for situations like these that several members of Congress produced a video a few months ago to remind military personnel that they are obligated by law to refuse to follow unlawful orders. And now that Trump is floating such orders, it is imperative that he not be allowed to proceed. This is so plainly evident that even former MAGA Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene is sounding the alarm…
