His first move was to fire his Chief of Staff, Susie Wiles, and replace her with his Senior Neo-Fascist Advisor, Stephen Miller.

Trump is obviously sending a message to the nation that he intends to be even more repulsive in the remaining two years of his term than ever. And while that might seem like an impossible goal, never presume that Trump has hit rock bottom. The well of his capacity for the nauseating is deeper than the Mariana Trench. He is already threatening to jail his perceived political foes.

The Trump abomination …er… administration is preparing to stifle any and all opposition by ordering his flunkies to carry out his authoritarian aspirations. To that end his Attorney Genuflect, Todd Blanche, was dispatched for an interview on Fox News Sunday where he affirmed his intentions to defend Trump and his lawless comrades, while attacking his critics and threatening them with incarceration in MAGA gulags.
In short, Blanche is embracing his role as a Trump mob boss by pledging his loyalty to the pResident, rather than to the law and the American people. He told Fox’s Shannon Bream that “if you work in this administration, you have a lawyer. It’s me.”

WRONG! The Attorney General is not the lawyer for individuals in the White House or other administration posts. His duty is to the law and the exercise and compliance thereto. Trump and his cronies can get outside counsel if they are the subjects of investigations or prosecutions.
Blanche knows that. But it didn’t stop him from adding a bunch of baseless allegations against Democrats, including his opinion that what Trump is frustrated and angry about is “these outright threats to come after people, to investigate people, to ruin their lives.”
REALLY? First of all, Democrats have not made any threats to “come after people” or to “ruin their lives.” They merely promised to conduct the appropriate oversight obligations that are their responsibilities as members of Congress. Naturally, that terrifies Trump, and Blanche, and the others in Trump’s circles who know that they are in violation of the law.
Blanche’s phony complaints about Democrats coming after Republicans is all the more disgusting when the truth is that it is Blanche and other Trump puppets who have already gone after Democrats who did nothing wrong. Here’s a breakdown of some of the people that Trump’s abomination has persecuted…
DEMOCRATS: Sen. Mark Kelly and five other members of Congress, Sen. Adam Schiff, Gov. Gavin Newsom, Letitia James, Rep. Ilhan Omar, Jerome Powell, Lisa Cook, Rep. LaMonica McIver, Don Lemon, Jack Smith, David Hearn, Southern Poverty Law Center, Media Matters, ActBlue.
REPUBLICANS: John Bolton, James Comey, Cassidy Hutchinson.
Notice anything? They are all Democrats, except for a few Republicans who flipped on Trump. And most of them have had their cases dismissed. Do we need further proof that Trump is turning his “Justice” Department into an agency of political retribution? If so, here is what Blanche said in the same Fox News interview…
“I understand there are people who have said they believe there is some sort of corruption. That’s largely because the media and Democrats have just highlighted, any time there’s any kind of success in this country that has to do with anybody associated with this administration, they call that corruption.”

So now Blanche is blaming the media for the appearance of corruption by Trump and Company. What’s more, the valid allegations of corruption have nothing to with with what Blanche calls “success.” Trump’s corruption is plain for all to see. It involves his taking of bribes in the form of jets from Middle Eastern dictators, and purchases of phony crypto merch, his defiance of court orders related to unlawful deportations of migrants, and destruction of federal property, and his waging an illegal war against Iran.
And that’s just for starters. What Blanche has made clear – literally – is that he he works for Trump and the Trump regime. He admits that he believes he is there to defend Trump’s MAGA Republicans and to persecute innocent, patriotic Democrats. And with that admission he has added his own name to the list of Trump cronies who are in violation of the law and could be brought up on charges and/or impeached. And the sooner the better.
