Sean Hannity Drools Over Insane Trump Proposal to Give Everyone in Greenland $100,000

The Sycophancy Meter for devotees of Donald Trump routinely registers at the highest levels that it is capable of reporting. His cult members are entirely devoid of any measure of shame or self respect when it comes to affirming their unflinching adoration of Dear Leader.

Donald Trump Sean Hannity

Consistent with most cults, Trump’s is characterized by his painfully obvious psychological and emotional abnormalities. He is paranoid, petulant, rage-filled, malignant narcissist, with a tenuous grasp on reality. It is a profile that he shares with the likes of Jim Jones. Although a notable difference between Jones and Trump is that Trump would have charged his flock for the Kool Aid. Like Jones, however, Trump demands an unwavering faith in his infallibility, and eternal loyalty.

In a demonstration of his unreserved reverence for Trump, Sean Hannity of Fox News led a segment on his program with MAGA Sen. Eric Schmitt of Missouri. The two discussed Trump’s ludicrous intentions to annex Greenland against the will of it’s citizens, with force if necessary, and despite the opposition of America’s allies in the European Union and NATO. In his fawning display of idolization, Hannity gushed that…

“Donald Trump’s forever in a state of negotiation. Everything’s negotiable. A $100,000 offer for every person in Greenland – on average making 60 grand a year – Denmark’s not exactly been generous to them. They don’t have the ability to help them take their natural resources to the next level and enrich every person in Greenland. We do…Seems like a no-brainer to me.”

Indeed. It would require having no brains to give Trump’s proposal even the slightest bit of serious consideration. Hannity’s praise of Trump for his alleged negotiating prowess is just more of the mythology that he is a great dealmaker. Never minds his numerous bankruptcies and multiple civil and criminal judgments for fraud. And don’t bother looking up the real author of his book, “The Art of the Deal.”

Hannity’s contention that for Trump “Everything’s negotiable,” is hardly a compliment. It highlights Trump’s ethical vacancy wherein he would negotiate away his mother’s dentures for a McDonalds Happy Meal for himself, or an award trophy that he didn’t earn. And he would make (and has made) the same awful deals with American principles.

The specific deal that Hannity is referencing involves Trump’s proposal to pay every resident of Greenland $100,000 in exchange for surrendering their sovereignty. Which just proves that Trump can put a price tag on anything, including honor, virtue, and patriotism. And if he would do that to Greenlanders, he would it to Americans.

What’s more, Hannity is exhibiting his own lack of moral character by lauding Trump’s shallowness and greed as virtuous. Hannity is also flaunting his ignorance by asserting that Denmark has not been “generous” to the Greenlanders. Does Hannity think that Trump would allow them to continue to receive free healthcare, education, and extended parental leave and vacation? Would they give up all of those lifetime benefits for a one-time handout?

As for their ability to “take their natural resources to the next level and enrich every person in Greenland,” maybe they don’t crave such materialism the way Trump does. Maybe they prefer the quality of life they have that regularly ranks Denmark as one of the happiest countries on Earth.

Finally, What would America get for the billions it would cost to compensate Greenland? It would just be another expenditure by Trump that only benefits him and his wealthy comrades, but ignores how the American people are struggling. All in all, a truly horrible deal. Which is exactly the kind that Trump specializes in. And neither Greenlanders nor Americans should take him up on it.
