Trump Threatens to Start a War with Iran Because They’re Doing What He Wants to Do In the U.S.

The madness of Donald Trump is exhibiting ever more troubling signs of serious harm for America and the world. His aspirations of authoritarian control of the nation are being manifested in his words and deeds that demonstrate his disrespect for the law and the principles of freedom and liberty that are enshrined in the Constitution.

Donald Trump, QAnon, Dictator

In a late night 3:00 AM comment posted to his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, Trump issued a direct threat to Iran where citizens are currently protesting the extremist theological regime that has been in power there since the last time that the United States tried to interfere with their internal domestic affairs. More recently, Trump ordered a totally impotent assault on Iran in an attempt to neutralize its nuclear capabilities.

SEE THIS: The Trump Regime’s Post-Iran Bombing Propaganda Party is a Sputtering Dud

This morning Trump unleashed an online outburst aimed at Iran after he heard that they were shooting protesters. Because rage-posting on social media is how America announces its foreign policy in the Era of Trump. He seethed that…

“If Iran shots (sic) and violently kills peaceful protesters, which is their custom, the United States of America will come to their rescue. We are locked and loaded and ready to go. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J.TRUMP”

So Trump is threatening ANOTHER war? He says he will commit U.S. military forces to "rescue" protesters in Iran. But he won't even provide weapons or other aid to Ukraine where his pall Putin is slaughtering thousands of civilians. Also, he wanted to shoot peaceful protesters in the U.S.

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2026-01-02T09:29:50.412Z

REALLY? Trump is threatening to start yet another war following his misadventures with Venezuela, Syria, Nigeria, and Yemen. Not to mention his threats to invade and/or annex Mexico, Panama, Canada, and Greenland. Or his deploying troops into American cities. And he fancies himself a candidate for a Nobel Peace prize?

Now Trump says he will commit U.S. military forces to “rescue” the protesters in Iran. He is feigning concern for those civilians who are the victims of the brutal regime. Which is peculiar because Vladimir Putin is doing much more harm to the civilians in Ukraine, but Trump has balked at providing them – a long time ally – with the weapons, intelligence, and other aid to help them to resist Trump’s pall Putin, who is slaughtering thousands of non-combatant men, women, and children, which is Russia’s custom.

To be clear, Trump isn’t promising to give financial support to the Iranian protesters, or training, or to help to organize a coalition of allies. Nope. Trump is promising to put American lives on the line. That’s what “locked and loaded and ready to go” means. So whose sons and daughters will be deployed to Iran? Certainly not Trump’s. As for Trump himself, he’s a five-time draft dodger.

What’s more, the offense by Iran that has Trump so riled up is that the Iranian leaders are allegedly shooting peaceful protesters. Which makes this a good time to remind everyone of what Trump did during his first occupation of the white House when he asked his military advisors why they couldn’t just “shoot the protesters” in a park across the street from the White House. This was disclosed by Trump’s own Defense Secretary, Mark Esper, to Norah O’Donnell on CBS News’ 60 Minutes…

O’Donnell: What specifically was he suggesting that the U.S. military should do to these protesters?
Esper: He says, “Can’t you just shoot them? Just shoot them in the legs or something.” And he’s suggesting that that’s what we should do, that we should bring in the troops and shoot the protesters.

So to summarize, Trump wants to deploy American troops into Iran to stop them from doing to protesters there what he wants to do to American protesters. And he couldn’t care less about what Putin is doing top civilians in Ukraine. Do we need any further evidence of the madness of Donald Trump?

Is Secretary of ‘War’ Pete Hegseth Covering Up the War Crimes and He and Trump Have Committed?

For the past few months Donald Trump has presided over a series of deadly air strikes on boats in the Caribbean that he alleged were engaged in drug trafficking. Never mind that he provided no evidence to support his allegations, or that such strikes in international waters are against international law. And even if there were evidence, the alleged crimes would not have been subject to capital punishment.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Pete Hegseth

Trump’s Caribbean misadventures have been conducted purely for what he perceives to be the political benefit of slaughtering what he calls “narco-terrorists” (a ridiculous, made up term), and its usefulness in deflecting from his tribulations involving the Epstein files that he continues to suppress. Meanwhile, Trump’s Secretary of “War” Pete Hegseth, has holiday visions of bloody corpses dancing in his head…

SEE THIS: The Nauseating Christmas ‘Wish” of Trump’s Bloodthirsty Secretary of ‘War’ Pete Hegseth

One particularly disturbing attack occurred on September 2, 2025, when the first air strike left a couple of survivors clinging to the wreckage of their boat. So there was a second strike ordered that succeeded in murdering the two helpless survivors. Most reputable military legal experts have called that a war crime.

Video of the first strike was released shortly after it occurred, But video of the second strike has been mysteriously withheld. Consequently, there has been a great deal of interest in releasing the second video in order to ascertain the facts that have been mired in controversy and ever-changing.

When this subject was first raised with Trump, he pretended to have an opinion favoring complete transparency and told reporters that he had “no problem” with releasing the second video. But that position didn’t hold for very long…

On December 3:
Question: You released video of that first boat strike on September 2nd, but not the second video. will you release the video of that strike so that the American people can see for themselves what happened?
Trump: I don’t know what they have, but whatever they have, we’d certainly release. No problem.
On December 8:
Question: You said you would have no problem with releasing the full video of that strike on September 2nd off the coast of Venezuela.
Trump: I didn’t say that. You said that. I didn’t say that. This is ABC fake news…Whatever Hegseth wants to do is OK with me.

Q: “You said you would have no problem with releasing the full video of that strike on September 2nd.”Trump: “I didn’t say that. You said that. I didn’t say that. This is ABC fake news.”Trump on Dec. 3: “Whatever they have, we’d certainly release. No problem.”

The Bulwark (@thebulwark.com) 2025-12-08T20:32:26.091Z

So Trump’s willingness to release the second video was short-lived, and he quickly shifted responsibility for what was being described as a war crime to his DoD underling, Hegseth. In the process, denying that he said what he was actually caught saying to a room full of reporters.

On Tuesday morning Hegseth was asked about the second video and gave an answer that appears he hopes will close the debate, saying that he would…

“…allow the HASC [House Armed Services Committee} and SASC [Senate Armed Services Committee] to see the unedited video of September 2nd, alongside Admiral Bradley, who has done a fantastic job, has made all the right calls, and we’re glad he’ll be there to do it. But in keeping with long-standing Department of Defense policy, of course we’re not going to release a top-secret, full, unedited video of that to the general public. HASC and SASC, appropriate committees, will see it, but not the general public.”

Hegseth on the second Sept 2 strike: "Of course we're not going to release a top secret full unedited of that to the general public"

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2025-12-16T16:20:28.975Z

For some reason it has been appropriate to release every other video of the two dozen boat strikes (so far) in the Caribbean before this. They are estimated to have resulted in at least 95 deaths, possibly of innocent fishermen. But for this one video different rules apply, even though nothing is different about it. There is nothing more in it that would compromise national security or confidential military sources or methods.

The only difference with this second video is that it might reveal to the American people just how lawless and inhumane the Trump regime is in their conduct of this phony, undeclared war. So Hegseth prohibits its release in order to shield himself – and Trump – from accountability for their criminal misconduct. It also shields them from the public disgust and disgrace that would follow if they were to see what Hegseth and Trump have been up to.

Both Democrats and Republicans in Congress have been calling for the video to be released. Any efforts to suppress it can only be viewed as a deliberate cover up. And Hegseth cannot be the final word on this. Ultimately, Trump is supposed to be the commander-in-chief, and it his his decision to release or hide this video.

If Trump chooses to hide the video, he is essentially admitting that it contains information that would incriminate him and others. Very much like his choice to hide the Epstein files. Hopefully Congress will prevail in this matter, and the people will get the truth to which they are entitled.

Democratic Senator Gets Bomb Threat After Trump Called for Her Execution – Fox News Blames Her

Democrats and Republicans are both warning that these are dangerous times that we are living through. Political violence has been on the increase. Democrats have been concerned about this for several years, but Republicans seem to have just taken note of it since the shooting of right-wing activist, Charlie Kirk.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump, Fox News

Kirk’s murder riled up the MAGA confederacy, generating a relentless stream of accusations against Democrats as being responsible for the rising tide of violence. The right’s complaints have themselves risen to the level of potentially violent rhetoric. That’s especially true of Donald Trump. And they are in complete denial of the fact that most such violence, by far, is committed by conservative perpetrators.

SEE THIS: Trump’s Justice Dept Disappears Study that Proves Most Violence is Caused By Far Right Radicals

This week Trump lashed out a group of Democratic members of Congress – all military and/or intelligence veterans – who produced a video to remind soldiers of their legal obligation, as stated in the Uniform Code of Military Justice, that requires them to refuse to obey unlawful orders. To which Trump and his MAGA minions immediately replied by accusing them of “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!”

Trump’s threat is despicable and inflammatory. The concerns of those in the video are not hypothetical. Trump has already issued orders that are plausibly unlawful, including those to bomb boats in Caribbean without evidence of any criminal activity, and his invasions of U.S. cities by military troops to quash peaceful protests. With regards to the latter, several court rulings have already found that those deployments are illegal, including one such ruling this week.

Another affirmation of the grotesque consequences of Trump’s outbursts is that one of those in the video, Sen. Elissa Slotkin, has already been the victim of a bomb threat. Fortunately, she and her family were not at home at the time, and no one was hurt. But the intent was clear. Except, that is, for those at Fox News, who reported on the incident and perversely twisted the facts to blame Sen. Slotkin for the attempted bombing of herself. The Fox News story reported that…

“Sen. Slotkin’s home targeted with bomb threat days after she told troops to defy ‘illegal’ orders.” [and that] “The video, which was posted on Tuesday by Slotkin, has drawn the ire of Republicans as well as the Trump administration.”

Did you catch that? Fox reported that the bomb threat occurred “days after she told troops to defy ‘illegal’ orders.” Which is technically true. However, it was just a few hours after Trump posted his incendiary call for Slotkin and her colleagues to be executed. Which is far more likely to have incited the bomb threat. Funny that Fox News didn’t mention that. What’s more, in Fox’s retelling, it wasn’t Slotkin who was the target of the bomb threat, just her home. Fox also only associated the violence with unnamed Republicans and the Trump administration, but not Trump himself, who made the reprehensible remarks.

Sen. Slotkin is not the only one who has been on the receiving end of MAGA malice. Another participant in the video, Rep. Jason Crow, has been getting profane phone calls threating him and his family. You can hear them here, if you have the stomach for it. His congressional office has also received a bomb threat.

To reiterate, these atrocious acts were triggered by patriotic veterans issuing a reminder about the duties that service members swear an oath to. And Fox News is complicit in the deliberate distortion of their intentions that makes the threat of violence toward these members of Congress more likely. Some people might call that seditious behavior. But if they did, Trump would surely pardon them, just as he did others who were actually convicted of it.

UPDATE: Trump was rage-posting late Saturday against the members of Congress in the video…

CRYBABY TRUMP is whining and incoherent again. So I thought I'd help him out.

Trump Accuses Democratic Members of Congress With ‘Seditious Behavior, Punishable by Death’

The megalomania of Donald Trump is reaching grotesquely frightening new lows. In a flurry of rancid posts to his dedicated propaganda platform, Truth Social, Trump is accusing several members of Congress of “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!” Will this abomination convince Republicans that Trump must be removed from office?

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump Angry

Trump’s basis for these accusations are as weak as his perpetually tedious lies about having won the 2020 election, or his constant boasts about his divine brilliance on every subject. However, these charges are far more dangerous than most of the laughably incoherent remarks he makes. This episode of his demented hostility began with a segment that aired on Fox News…

SEE THIS: Fox News and GOP Senator Idiotically Claim ‘Democrats Are Calling For Treason From Military’

The Fox News segment featured an interview with Tennessee Republican senator, Marsha Blackburn, that grossly misinterprets a video produced by several Democratic members of Congress encouraging service members to honor their oaths to the Constitution (Video below). The segment played above Fox’s preposterous and hyperbolic chyron that read “Critics Say Dems Calling For Treason From Military.”

In the video the Congress members reminded those in the military that they have a legal obligation to refuse to follow unlawful orders. It is stated explicitly in Article 92 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), which requires service members to refuse orders that are illegal, unconstitutional, or violate military law. However, Trump has preposterously misinterpreted this as an act of sedition. He posted the following comment on Thursday morning…

“SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL. Each one of these traitors to our Country should be ARRESTED AND PUT ON TRIAL. Their words cannot be allowed to stand – We won’t have a Country anymore!!! An example MUST BE SET. President DJT”

To be clear, Trump is accusing members of Congress of sedition, and demanding that they be prosecuted, and even potentially put to death, for reiterating the actual legal obligations of the military as stated in the UCMJ. And if his own posts weren’t bad enough, he reposted 18 more comments (so far) by random people on his website saying such things as “Insurrection. TREASON!” and “HANG THEM GEORGE WASHINGTON WOULD !!”

The members of Congress in the video that Trump is accusing of sedition are Sens. Elissa Slotkin (D-Mich.) and Mark Kelly (D-Ariz.), as well as Reps. Jason Crow (D-Colo.), Chrissy Houlahan (D-Penn.), Maggie Goodlander (D-N.H.) and Chris Deluzio (D-Penn.). They were all either military veterans or intelligence operatives before being elected to Congress. Which makes Trump’s accusations all the more reprehensible considering his notorious refusal to serve by falsely claiming five medical deferments for “bone spurs” during the Vietnam war.

What will GOP Senate leader John Thune think about Trump wanting to execute his fellow senators? And what will former senator, now Trump’s Secretary of State, Marco Rubio think about killing his former colleagues? Is there any line that Trump could cross before they consider impeachment, or the 25th Amendment to remove him from office?

The brazen and purposeful dishonesty of Trump is meant to excite and increase the hatred of his MAGA cult disciples toward Democrats. It is intended to put a wedge between the military and the American citizens they serve. It is abominable and unconscionable rhetoric that will further divide the nation and potentially incite violence.

In other words, it is entirely expected of Trump whose aversion to fellow Americans who fail to unflinchingly worship him is an integral part of his character, or lack thereof.

We want to speak directly to members of the Military and the Intelligence Community. The American people need you to stand up for our laws and our Constitution.Don’t give up the ship.

Fox News and GOP Senator Idiotically Claim ‘Democrats Are Calling For Treason From Military’

The rise of authoritarianism in the reign of Donald Trump has been an inescapable concern for the patriotic Americans who cherish the principles on which this country was founded. For the whole of his time occupying the White House, Trump has worked against those principles in order to advance his cravings for wealth and power.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Fox News, Constitution

In just the first year of his second term, Trump has wildly exceeded the anti-American aspirations of his first term. He is imposing retributive and inflationary tariffs on most of America’s allies. He is sending troops into U.S. cities to suppress peaceful, lawful dissent. He is directing his “Justice” Department to indict and persecute his political foes. He is attempting to muzzle the free press via government pressure and ludicrous lawsuits. He is trying to rig future elections with partisan gerrymandering. And that’s an abbreviated list.

SEE THIS: Trump Threatens Republicans to Gerrymander Red States With a Flurry of Downright Deranged Lies

In short, Trump is working tirelessly on poisoning the institutions that hold America together. He is hellbent on twisting every one of those institution – from governmental, legal, academic, diplomatic, legislative, and even cultural – into slaves to his personal obsessions. And among the most worrisome are his efforts aimed at the institution of America’s military.

In addition to Trump’s hostilities toward U.S. cities with Democratic leaders, he is escalating his war on members of the Democratic Party itself. He recently ordered his Attorney Genuflect, Pam Bondi, to investigate Bill Clinton and other Democrats over baseless accusations of associations with Jeffrey Epstein. And on Wednesday his Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News, aired a segment that explicitly accused Democrats of advocating treason.

The segment featured an interview with Tennessee Republican senator, Marsha Blackburn, that grossly misinterprets a video produced by several Democratic members of Congress encouraging service members to honor their oaths to the Constitution (Video below). The segment played above Fox’s preposterous and hyperbolic chyron that read “Critics Say Dems Calling For Treason From Military.”

Blackburn: It is inconceivable that you would have elected officials that are saying to uniformed members of the military who have taken an oath to protect and defend that they say would defy the orders that they have been given to execute their mission. I find it inconceivable, but that is what they have chosen to do, and we will see what the response to them from Democrats…I find this just so disturbing that they would say defy the orders if you do not like the orders.
Faulkner: I don’t think they understand the slippery slope of what that does to an already unpopular Congress.

“Inconceivable!” "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.” (Also "Treason" on Fox News chyron)The Uniform Code of Military Justice (Article 92), literally REQUIRES service members to refuse orders that are illegal, unconstitutional, or violate military law.

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-11-19T19:58:00.399Z

“Inconceivable”? Blackburn says that twice. But as was noted by Inigo Montoya in “The Princess Bride,” “I do not think it means what you think it means.” For one thing, they never said to “defy the orders if you do not like the orders.” They referred only to unlawful orders. And the Uniform Code of Military Justice (Article 92), literally requires service members to refuse orders that are illegal, unconstitutional, or violate military law. But don’t expect anyone on Fox News, or among the MAGA GOP, to know that.

The brazen and purposeful dishonesty of Blackburn and Fox News is meant to bring the animosity of their viewers toward Democrats to a furious boil. It is meant to further divide the nation and potentially incite violence. It is intended to put a wedge between the military and the American citizens they serve.

As such, it is Fox News and Trump’s flunkies who are engaging in the most heinous sort of unpatriotic rhetoric that should be regarded as – not treason – but at least inconceivable in civil society.

Is Trump’s Secretary of ‘War’ Outlining Plans to Deploy the Military to Steal the Next Election?

In case anyone is still unconvinced that Donald Trump is plotting to make himself America’s first dictator, some comments made by his Secretary of “War” (a fake Cabinet post), Pete Hegseth, ought to clear it all up. That’s if Trump’s authoritarian moves to invade American cities, illegally impose tariffs on U.S. trading partners, prosecute (persecute) his political foes, ignore judicial rulings, and suppress the media, haven’t already done the trick.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Pete Hegseth with Drunk Emoji

Trump has demonstrated that he has no respect whatsoever for the United States Constitution or the principles it has represented for more than two centuries. And that disrespect is being parroted by Hegseth, whose recent edicts banishing the free press from the Pentagon are only the beginning of the Trump regime’s crusade to undermine democracy.

SEE THIS: Trump’s Secretary of War on the Press, Pete Hegseth, Is Rebuked By the Media He’s Trying to Censor

On Friday Hegseth joined Trump for a press avail at the White House where he engaged in the following exchange with a reporter…

Question: A memo circulating on social media details the establishment of a National Guard Response Force that’s going to be trained in crowd control and civil unrest and deployed in all 50 states by April of 2026. Can you verify the authenticity of that memo, and do you have any more information on the operation?
Hegseth: I’m not going to answer particulars on something that may be in the planning process. But we definitely do have multiple layers of National Guard response forces in each state…and we will [deploy them] when necessary.”

What Trump's Secretary of "War," Pete Hegseth, is not denying is the Trump regime's plans to undermine democracy in upcoming elections. The military has no legal role in domestic crowd control or civil unrest. Unless they intend to be propping up a wannabe king. #NoKings!

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-10-24T09:58:56.336Z

It is impossible to ignore the fact that Hegseth did not disavow the report about the ominously named “National Guard Response Force.” To the contrary, he confirmed that it “definitely” exists. What possible reason could Trump and Hegseth have for forming such a force? It has never existed before. And the timing puts it smack in the middle of the 2026 election season.

It is not much of a stretch to speculate that Trump has tasked Hegseth with leading a mission to obstruct the will of the people should they vote to remove Republicans as the majority party in Congress. Many polls currently show that Democrats have a good chance of prevailing in both the House and the Senate. And wannabe king Trump simply can’t allow that to happen.

On January 6, 2021, Trump incited a deadly insurrection in Washington, D.C., in an attempt to hold on to power after President Biden beat him. Trump later pardoned the 1,500 rioters, making them available for future violent uprisings, and reassuring them and others that they would be similarly protected should they riot again.

More recently, GOP House Speaker, Mike Johnson, has been stubbornly refusing to swear in a newly elected Democratic representative. Many people are accusing him of trying avoid a vote on releasing the Epstein files. That’s possible. But another possibility is that he is testing his ability to block Democrats from taking control of the House if they win a majority next November.

Hegseth’s admission that he is ready to deploy a military force in all 50 states if “necessary” should trouble every patriotic American. We should all seek clarification as to what he means by “necessary.” But more importantly, every American must resist any attempts by Hegseth, Trump, or the rest of the MAGA regime, to steal our votes and deprive us of our democratic free will. This is not a drill!

Trump Smacks Down His Secretary of War Pete Hegseth, Over His Loyalty Pledge on the Free Press

The continuing crusade by the regime of Donald Trump to undermine the Constitution’s First Amendment is hitting new lows as he presides over previously unimaginable assaults on free speech and freedom of the press. He is playing by the rules laid out by history’s most notorious totalitarians that he admires and seeks to emulate.

Pete Hegseth with Drunk Emoji

This week Trump’s Secretary of Defense (War?), Pete Hegseth, decreed that the press must comply with a sort of loyalty oath before they will be permitted any access to the Pentagon or the military leaders who work for the American people. It’s just what you might expect from a dry drunk whose qualifications for the job consist of having co-hosted a weekend morning program on Fox News. And it affirms the twisted mindset of Trump, who believes that he can dictate what the media reports about him.

SEE THIS: Trump’s 97% Solution is Further Evidence of His Declining Mental Acuity and Pathological Lying

The mandate that Hegseth imposed on the press forbids them to do any investigative reporting, interviewing, or to publish any stories that haven’t been pre-approved by Hegseth’s Pentagon overlords. As reported by NPR, the network that Trump and the GOP have defunded…

“The Pentagon will drastically change its rules for journalists who cover the Department of Defense, two U.S. officials who are not authorized to speak publicly confirmed to NPR Friday. The move drew sharp criticism from news organizations, who said it violated the bedrock of a free press.”

“Going forward, journalists must sign a pledge not to gather any information, including unclassified reports, that hasn’t been authorized for release. […] those who fail to obey the new policy will lose their press credentials.”

When a government agency threatens to revoke the credentials of news organizations that don’t obey their edicts, you don’t have a free press. You have a fascist dictatorship that obviously has some very troubling things to hide. Could it be that Trump and Hegseth are worried that the people will find out that the boats they are blowing up in the Caribbean were just innocent fishermen? Or are they concerned that more details of Trump’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein will be revealed?

The NPR story quoted Hegseth saying that “DoW information must be approved for public release by an appropriate authorizing official before it is released, even if it is unclassified.” This, from the guy who disclosed secret war plans in an insecure Signal chat group. He also said that “The ‘press’ does not run the Pentagon — the people do.” That’s right! And the press are the people’s representatives. The people rely on the press, not partisan political hacks like Hegseth and his designated cronies, to keep them informed.

Reporting only what those in power have approved is not journalism. It’s stenography. Or as George Orwell put it: “Journalism is printing what someone else does not want printed; everything else is public relations.” This has been a long time coming with the Trump regime. In February he issued his own decree aimed at manipulating the reporting about him…

SEE THIS: Trump Kicks Reporters Out of Pentagon Offices, Replaces Them with MAGA Media Mouthpieces

However, in a surprise announcement, Trump is now publicly distancing himself from Hegseth’s pressuring of the press. He was asked directly “Should the Pentagon be part of deciding what reporters can report on?” He replied “No, I don’t think so. Nothing stops reporters. You know that.”

It’s likely that Trump has no idea what Hegseth said, or what this reporter’s question meant. It isn’t as if he has a firm grasp of his administration – or reality. Everything he says is fungible and reversible if it suits his needs. In the meantime, Trump didn’t revoke Hegseth’s policy, so the muzzling of the press stands. Except that “Nothing stops reporters. You know that.” Well, we’ll see.

Trump’s Propaganda Secretary Admits Trump Wants to Deploy Troops Only to ‘Democrat-Run’ Cities

For several weeks now Donald Trump has been deploying military troops to American cities on a mission that he says is to reduce crime. Never mind that each of the cities that he has already invaded have had declining crime rates before his deployments. And set aside the fact that it is illegal to use U.S. troops against American citizens.

Click here to post this article on Twitter or Click here to post on Bluesky

Donald Trump and Karoline Leavitt

It has been impossible not to notice that every city that Trump has designated as a destination for his army assignments – Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Chicago, New York, Baltimore – all just happen to have Black mayors who are Democrats. What a crazy coincidence, huh?

SEE THIS: Trump Threatens to Send His StormTrumpers to N.Y., L.A., and Chicago, Where Crime is Declining

Now Trump’s Propaganda Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, is shedding some light on how Trump chose the cities that he is sending soldiers to. Responding to a question at Tuesday’s White House press briefing about Trump’s domestic military mission and who is being targeted, Leavitt said that…

“These are the career criminals, the bad guys that we are picking up in Washington DC every day. The president would love to do this in every Democrat-run city across the country. And he hopes that more Democrats will call the White House to allow us to help them.”

Leavitt: "These are the bad guys that we are picking up in Washington DC every day. The president would love to do this in every Democrat-run city across the country."

Aaron Rupar (@atrupar.com) 2025-09-09T17:50:58.958Z

There’s a lot of bullpucky to unpack in that brief sound bite. For starters, Leavitt is lying that the people being detained and disappeared are “career criminals.” In fact, as many as 70% have no criminal records at all according to the Trump administration’s own data. Many are citizens or green card holders. And most were denied the due process that is guaranteed by the Constitution.

What’s more, it is peculiar that Leavitt says that they are picking up “bad guys” in D.C. every day, when Trump has been saying that he has cut crime 100%. In other words, according to Trump, there is no crime at all in D.C. anymore. So who are they arresting?

THEY JUST CAN'T STOP LYING!Trump's Attorney Genuflect, Pam Bondi, keeps posting these memes every day boasting about dozens of arrests in Washington, D.C., even though Trump says that there is ZERO crime there.

News Corpse (@newscorpse.bsky.social) 2025-09-08T17:28:41.536Z

Finally, Leavitt lets on that Trump is actually only interested in occupying cities with Democratic leaders. As noted above, her admission that “The president would love to do this in every Democrat-run city” has been obvious. But now she is confirming that it is the official policy of the Trump administration. Why wouldn’t Trump “love” to do this in any of the cities with the most violent crime in red states? Doesn’t he care about the people in Tennessee, Missouri, Louisiana, or Arkansas? Or is he just laser-focused on going to war with Chicago…

WTHF? Trump is declaring war on…CHICAGO?He posted this on his Truth(less) (Anti)Social today.

Dotard Trump Tries to Attack Gov. Wes Moore By Linking to an Article that Actually Praises Him

Nothing is more predictable in modern politics than the barrage of belligerence by Donald Trump aimed at his perceived enemies and political foes. It doesn’t take much to set him off, and when it happens it generally results in a typically asinine assault that is brimming with unbridled hostility.

Donald Trump Pacifier Fox

Just such an incident took place on Wednesday when Trump was triggered by…well, god knows what causing him to take some wild swings at Maryland Governor Wes Moore. It may have been due to something Moore said in an interview, or just Trump letting off some of the seething steam that is ever present in his curmudgeonly cranium. He doesn’t really need, or have, a legitimate reason.

The attack on Gov. Moore was a peculiar little tirade that was something less than coherent. Trump posted a comment on his failing Twitter ripoff, Truth Social, that even his most devoted cult followers might have found indecipherable. In a 2:12 AM comment Trump wrote only

“But is that the end of his political career. He was very disrespectful to the Office of the President!”

That’s it! Trump didn’t bother to give any context to his comment other than a link to an article in The Hill. He didn’t mention whose political career he thinks should be ending or how he was disrespectful. But for anyone who clicked through to the article they would have found a story – that was published a year ago – about Gov. Moore. And for the most part, it was pretty positive. It described Moore as…

“…a rising star in the Democratic Party, served in the Army Reserve between 1996 and 2014. He was deployed to Afghanistan in August 2005 through March 2006. Though he has won multiple awards for his service, including the National Defense Service Medal, he stated on a 2006 application for the White House Fellowship that his service won him the award of a Bronze Star.”

WOW! So Moore is a patriot who served his country honorably, with distinction and courage. And Trump, a five time draft dodger who insults fallen warriors as “suckers” and “losers” has a problem with that?

Apparently what Trump is perturbed about is the Bronze Star matter. But the article went on to offer Moore’s explanation that he was advised to include the Bronze Star commendation in the White House Fellowship application by his commander, who made the recommendation for the medal and assured him that he would receive it. However, the paperwork didn’t go through properly and the commendation didn’t become official at that time.

The general who made the original recommendation didn’t learn about the paperwork snafu until recently, then corrected the mistake and the medal was finally awarded in 2024. So the Army’s acknowledgement of Moore’s heroism was truthful and is now a part of his record. Which Trump likely knows, or should know. As for Moore, he is on record having responded to this matter, noting that the disparagement of patriots has long been a part of the Republican Party’s political attack plan.

“Over the last few weeks, our country has grown used to seeing what it looks like when a veteran’s integrity is attacked for political gain. But those who seek to cast doubt on our records misunderstand something fundamental about true patriots, who have put on the flag of our country and put everything on the line to be called Americans: We don’t get shaken. We put our heads down, and we do the work. And that is what I will continue to do.”

Trump’s dishonest and infantile attack on Moore is consistent with his prior remarks about the Governor. Last week Trump flagrantly lied that Moore had told Trump that he was “the greatest president of my lifetime” when they met at an Army/Navy football game. Anyone with mere common sense and an attachment to reality would have known that that was false.

However, just to put an even finer point on it, a video dug up by Fox News (yeah, Fox News) proves that Trump was lying. And not just about the flattery that never occurred, but also about the accusation that Moore was “very disrespectful to the Office of the President!”?

Trump’s imaginary friend. Fox News airs video proving Trump is a liar. Maryland Governor Wes Moore never said to Trump, “You’re the greatest president of my lifetime” upon meeting him at football game, as Trump claims.

Trump’s Pentagon Flack Brags About Female Military Recruitment with Obviously Fake AI Images

The flamingly dishonest propaganda that is emblematic of the Donald Trump regime has taken another turn for the worse. Just when you think they have hit rock bottom, they manage to find a trap door down there that leads to shaft dropping another mile or so.

Donald Trump, Military Parade

The latest sinkhole being explored by the Trumpies is their celebration of what they claim to be a profound success in military recruitment of women. This is the same military that is headed up by Defense Secretary (and former Fox News host), Pete Hegseth, who has decreed that all diversity initiatives that promoted women in the services be terminated. But he spares no expense on making himself pretty for the TV cameras.

SEE THIS: Pete Hegseth Spends Thousands for a Pentagon Makeup Studio to Fortify America’s Military Might

This week the ultra-MAGA Trump-fluffing network, One America News (OAN), did an interview with Defense Department spokeswoman Kingsley Wilson. Host Matt Gaetz (former congressman and failed Attorney General nominee) conducted the interview in which they were both gushing over the alleged increase in female recruits. During the segment there was video playing of a variety of proud women soldiers in uniform. There was just one problem.

A quick glance at the images showed that they were all AI fakes. The images were generated using Elon Musk’s version of AI called Grok. And they even still had the logo in the bottom corners. Neither Gaetz nor Wilson disclosed the source of the videos or their bogus beginnings. They were too proud to let reality get in the way…

Gaetz: Tell us what the numbers are saying about the recruitment of women in our military.
Wilson: The numbers are absolutely fantastic across the board…Under the previous administration we had about 16,000 female recruits last year. Now we’ve got upwards of 24,000. This is a nearly 7,000 person increase in female recruits alone. And again, it’s not just women. It’s men too. The Army, the Air Force, the Navy, everyone is hitting their metrics early And it is a testament to Secretary Hegseth and president Trump’s leadership.

It turns out that young Americans want to sign up to be warfighters. They don’t want this ideology that the previous administration tried to hoist on them. They want to get back to basics. And that’s what we’re doing at DoD. And the numbers are just proof in the pudding.

If the spokesperson for the Pentagon will sit by while fake images are presented to support her reported numbers of female recruits, how are we supposed to trust the numbers themselves? They offered nothing to document the claim. And even if the numbers are accurate, they presented zero evidence that recruitment increased because of Trump, or Hegseth, or any increasing desire to become warfighters by American men or women.

Quite often recruitment goes up if economic opportunities in civilian life decline. And Trump’s economy and job creation has been on a steady down slope. They also failed to mention that the rise in recruitment is a trend that began during President Biden’s administration. What’s more, after Trump and Hegseth took over, they lowered the standards for education and physical health.

The profile on the Department of Defense Rapid Response X/Twitter account says “Welcome To The Official Rapid Response Account For The DOD! Supporting The Mission Of @SecDef And Fighting Against Fake News!” Hopefully their ability to fight actual wars is not reflected in their ability to fight fake news. If it is, we are in big trouble. They can’t even put on a decent parade.
