As election day draws nearer, Donald Trump is exhibiting ever more worrisome signs of emotional distress and an inability to comprehend reality. For the most part that is manifesting in his public outbursts at his cult rallies and online on his floundering social media scam, Truth Social.

Trump’s has been noticeably deteriorating as his legal peril mounts and his electoral prospects fade. Many psychological experts have observed that his paranoid anxieties have increased significantly and that they will likely get worse the closer he gets to losing in the courtroom and/or at the ballot box. He has already left a trail of deranged droppings affirming his fragile condition.

On Tuesday Trump had an informal psychological therapy session with TV’s pretend “Doctor” Phil McGraw. Much of this “interview” was littered with the typical lies that Trump dispenses daily. Although a few were a bit more original. For instance, Trump claimed that he would be declared the winner in California if Jesus were the vote counter. And speaking of God, he also said that the Almighty wants him “to be involved in…saving the world.”

Yes, Trump definitely needs psychological help. But he isn’t going to get it from a phony TV “doctor.” However, when McGraw brought up Trump’s “ear death” experience in Pennsylvania, Trump sought to politicize it in the most repulsive manner, going off on another Trumpian rant that was utterly bereft of evidence or rationality. He said that…

“When this happened, people would ask, whose fault is it? I think to a certain extent it’s Biden’s fault and Harris’s fault. And I’m the opponent. They were weaponizing government against me. They brought in the whole DoJ [Department of Justice] to try and get me. They weren’t too interested in my health and safety. They were making it very difficult to have proper staffing in terms of Secret Service.”

Trump has a pretty knee-jerk reaction to anything that he regards as critical of him. It’s always the fault of whoever he perceives as his most prominent enemy at any given point in time. Right now it’s President Biden and Vice-President Kamala Harris. So of course he blames them for the shooting that was done by a registered Republican who had no connection to Biden or Harris or any other Democratic person or group.

Trump’s whining about “weaponizing government” against him is more of his customary complaints that he makes with zero evidence. He blames Biden and Harris for his 34 felony convictions, and the other 54 indictments he has pending, despite the fact that they have had nothing to do with any of it. They were all the result of work by citizens on Grand Juries, independent counsels, and state prosecutors. Trump went on to say that…

“They’re saying I’m a threat to democracy. […] And you know that can get assassins or potential assassins going. That’s a terrible thing. Maybe that bullet is because of their rhetoric.”

Acknowledging that Trump is a threat to democracy isn’t a signal to assassins. It’s a verifiable fact based on his own statements. He idolizes brutal tyrants. He has expressly called for “terminating the Constitution.” He already staged a deadly coup attempt on January 6, 2021. And he recently told his cult followers that they didn’t need to vote for him because he already has all the votes he needs. Which sounds more like he has plans to dispense with vote counting and undermine democracy by other more nefarious means. But he also says that he needs votes now in this election, but after that it won’t matter anymore.

Does that sound like someone who reveres democracy, or would fight to preserve it? What’s more, Trump’s complaint about dangerous rhetoric exhibits the self-awareness of a jellyfish. He is the one who has been relentlessly maligning his foes in dehumanizing ways, and even calling for them to be executed for treason. If anyone is inciting violence, it is Trump and his confederates.

Although it is entirely predictable that he would accuse his opponents of precisely what he is guilty of. And if Trump is nothing else, he’s predictable, and predictably reprehensible.

Fox News Hypes Bogus Report By GOP Falsely Alleging that Biden Engaged in Impeachable Conduct

If anyone is looking for further affirmation that Fox News is the Ministry of Propaganda for Donald Trump and his MAGA movement, the notoriously disreputable network that settled a 3/4 of a billion dollar defamation lawsuit for lying on Trump’s behalf, just provided another example of its political biases.

On Monday the Democratic National Committee (DNC) was set to begin its convention to officially certify the candidacy of Vice-President Kamala Harris as the Party’s nominee for President of the United States of America. This year the convention is being held under unique circumstances as Harris only became a candidate three weeks ago. Nevertheless, she is riding a wave of enthusiasm and surging popularity that is stirring anxiety and desperation in the Trump camp.

Right on cue, Fox News and the Republican Party deployed to try to steal the DNC’s thunder. On the morning of the first day of the DNC convention, the GOP issued a report that they claimed contained proof “that President Biden engaged in impeachable conduct.” The report was immediately given to Fox News who broadcast it as an exclusive on Maria Bartiromo’s Trump-Fluffing Hour (video below). And Trump posted it to his floundering social media scam, Truth Social, whining “And they go after me for NOTHING!” Fox correspondent, Brooke Singman, gleefully boasted that…

“I obtained a copy of this 292 page report from Republicans on the House Oversight, Judiciary, and Ways and Means Committees. They’ve been leading the impeachment inquiry against President Biden for months. They said that their investigation found that President Biden engaged in impeachable conduct and said that he abused his office and defrauded the United States to enrich his family.”

Singman went on to quote from the report, saying that…

“As Vice-President, President Biden actively participated in his conspiracy by, among other things, attending dinners with his family’s foreign business partners and speaking to them by phone, often when being placed on speakerphone by Hunter Biden”

The only problem with that is that it has no resemblance to reality whatsoever. The testimony of the GOP’s own witnesses actually absolved Biden of any wrongdoing. During the phone calls that Singman refers to, Biden was only on while innocent pleasantries like the weather were exchanged. The GOP’s “star” witness testified that he never heard the President talk about any business dealings.

Singman continued quoting from the GOP’s work of pure, unadulterated, and deliberate fiction, saying that…

“Several witnesses testified that Hunter Biden invoked his father in business dealings with Romanian, Chinese, Kazakhstani, and Ukrainian companies, resulting in millions of dollars flowing to the Biden family.”

Once again, the report doesn’t actually find that President Biden did any of what the report is alleging. In fact, every reference to any alleged wrongdoing in the report was vaguely framed as being associated with “the Biden family.” The report contained zero evidence that President Biden received any money or did anything wrong. What’s more, if Republicans were really interested in a president who enriched himself through shady business dealings with foreigners, they should have been investigating Trump…

It is notable that Singman’s report on Fox News didn’t provide any response from Biden or any White House representative. That isn’t because there wasn’t one. When she posted the same story on the Fox News website, where it wouldn’t get nearly the same amount of exposure, she did include a response by White House spokesperson, Sharon Yang. So she knew about it, but intentionally left it out of the television report. She even included it in an early morning tweet…

Yang: “After wasting nearly two years and millions of taxpayer dollars, House Republicans have finally given up on their wild goose chase. This failed stunt will only be remembered for how it became an embarrassment that their own members distanced themselves from as they only managed to turn up evidence that refuted their false and baseless conspiracy theories.”

The attempt by Republicans to tarnish Biden’s reputation, even after he has announced his retirement, is reprehensible and intended only to be nasty while hoping that the stain rubs off on Harris. So far, like every other dirty trick that they have tried to play, they have met with failure.

They still have no evidence of any impeachable crimes. And even when they were taunted by Democratic representative Jared Moskowitz to call for an impeachment vote, the GOP reprobates never did. Which is emblematic of their dishonesty and cowardice. It’s a level of cretinism that is only matched by their confederates at Fox News.

Trump Makes a Pitifully Impotent Attempt to Drive a Wedge Between Kamala Harris and Joe Biden

Trump was primed to run against Joe Biden with a barrel full of age-related assaults that he must now discard. He never had a substantive argument against Biden or a truthful one for himself.

Consequently, Trump is now left with nothing but his babbling diversions about Hannibal Lecter and his hostile and tiresome taunts at the press. He spent his recent cult rally in North Carolina – where he promised to focus on economic issues – flailing wildly with infantile insults at both Biden and Harris, whom he is now trailing in most polls.

On Thursday morning Trump took to his floundering social media scam, Truth Social, to resume his barrage of incoherent blather aimed at Harris and Biden. In a psychotic rant Trump alleged that there is some sort of division between the President and the Vice-President. Of Course, it is another figment cooked up in his perversely warped imagination. He wrote that…

“Kamala Harris wants NOTHING TO DO WITH CROOKED JOE BIDEN. They are throwing him out on the Monday Night Stage, known as Death Valley. He now HATES Obama and Crazy Nancy more than he hates me! He is an angry man, as he should be. They stole the Presidency from him — ‘It was a Coup!'”

First of all, any assessment by Trump of what is going on in the personal lives of Democrats must be taken with a shipload of salt. That’s especially true of his musings about the upcoming Democratic National Convention (DNC). He obviously has no sources or insights into internal Democratic affairs.

For the record, Harris has scheduled Biden to speak on day one of the DNC during a celebration of the President she has served loyally for three and half years. It will be a tribute at a time reserved for honors. By comparison, here are the people that Trump scheduled at the RNC for what he calls “Death Valley”: Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, Sen. Ron Johnson, Sen. Tim Scott, Virginia, Sen. Marsha Blackburn, Gov. Glenn Youngkin, South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem. They will surely be thrilled to find out just how lowly he regards them by having scheduled them there..

To make matters worse for Trump, Harris and Biden made their first public appearance together since the passing of the torch on the same Thursday morning. And Harris was not shy about expressing her admiration and appreciation for her boss. She introduced him saying that “I could speak all afternoon about the person that I am standing on the stage with. [Extended ovation] Our extraordinary President Joe Biden.”

And the feelings were mutual. In his remarks Biden praised Harris as “an incredible partner…She’s gonna make one hell of a president.” But he also found time to taunt Trump as “The guy we’re running against…what’s his name? Donald Dump?”

Trump’s characterization of Biden as hating Harris and Obama and Pelosi is just more evidence of his acute derangement, which is getting worse by the hour. Meanwhile, both Harris and Biden are campaigning in an environment of joyfulness that the nation finds endearing and a great relief from the animus of Trump & Co. Plus, like much of the English language, Trump is proving that he doesn’t have the slightest idea what the word “coup” means. It was Biden who chose to step aside and endorse Harris. And it looks like it was another brilliant decision on Biden’s part.

Trump is the coup plotter – and the convicted felon – and the sexual abuser – and the financial fraudster – and the serial adulterer – and the wannabe dictator. And for some gawdfersaken reason, he is also the choice of the Republican Party to be their standard bearer and lead them to another humiliating defeat in November. Let’s wish them all the best in that pursuit.

TRUMP IS TOAST: The Washington Post’s Laundry List of Trump’s Increasingly Bizarre Claims

Watching the downward spiral of Donald Trump is becoming object lesson in mental deterioration as he descends ever deeper into a bottomless pit of pathos and desperation. Ever since Kamala Harris ascended to the top of the Democratic ticket, Trump has responded with exponentially more extreme exhibits of madness. And he wasn’t exactly a portrait of sanity before that.

The media hasn’t been especially good at reporting the severity of Trump’s psychological maladies. While they spent months obsessing over President Biden’s alleged age-related defects, they ignored Trump’s far worse displays of derangement. Biden would get criticized for stuttering, but Trump would get a pass for hallucinating.

The good news is that some of the biases of the press may be starting to thaw. The Washington Post just published an article that enumerates some of Trump’s recent meanderings into the muck of his mania. The headline summarizes the substance: “Trump’s laundry list of increasingly bizarre claims.” And it doesn’t mince words describing Trump’s meltdown…

“This is bonkers, even by Trump’s own conspiratorial and falsehood-laden standards [and that] It’s difficult to truly compare the relative ridiculousness of Trump’s claims over time, but there is no question he’s pushed the envelope in new and astonishing ways.”

The Post enumerates ten of Trump’s most recent derpitudes, followed by documented fact checks. They begin with one that was just loosed a few days ago: “Harris’s rally crowds ‘DIDN’T EXIST’ and ‘nobody was there.’” Trump claimed that photos of Harris’ supporters were altered by AI, and that there was really no one at all at the event. Never mind all the live streamed video and press accounts – including by conservative media. Trump’s assertion was wholly manufactured from raw fiction.

The list continued with even more preposterous assertions emanating from Trump’s corroding cranium. Among them, he accused the FBI of plotting to assassinate him. He said that Harris had only recently turned Black. He repeated his ludicrous charge that Democrats support infanticide. Here is the full list…

On Wednesday morning Trump spoke briefly to reporters after voting in the Florida primary. He was asked about the “fake” crowds claim and replied that “I can’t say what was there, who was there. I can only tell you about ours. And we have the biggest crowds ever in the history of politics. We have crowds that nobody has ever seen before.”

Except that Trump actually and explicitly did say who was there (“nobody”). And his claim that he has “the biggest crowds ever in the history of politics” is just plain delusional. However, his next comment was sort of a curious confession. He said that “We have crowds that nobody has ever seen before.” So now he’s saying that he’s the one who has nonexistent and/or invisible crowds that no one has seen?

Don’t try too hard to figure out anything that Trump says. It will only cause acute frustration and possible brain injury.

Trump is Trying to Provoke Panic Over a Common Stock Market Drop to Save His Failing Campaign

For contrast, Donald Trump has always put himself before country and every other concern that wasn’t directly associated with his selfish aspirations for money or power or self-aggrandizement. Not to mention his compulsion to avoid going to prison. His malignant narcissism is so severe that he has openly expressed an explicit desire for catastrophes that would harm millions of Americans if it helped him in some way.

On Monday morning Trump sought to exploit a decline in the stock market for his personal, political benefit. He posted a comment on his floundering social media scam, Truth Social, whose purpose could only be interpreted as a deliberate attempt to stoke needless panic and turn a small market dip into major disaster. He wrote that…

“Of course there is a massive market downturn. Kamala is even worse than Crooked Joe. Markets will NEVER accept the Radical Left Lunatic that DESTROYED San Francisco and California, as a whole. Next move, THE GREAT DEPRESSION OF 2024! You can’t play games with MARKETS. KAMALA CRASH!!!”

This is just plain weird, as well as flagrantly untrue. First of all, if Trump wants to blame Harris for the wealth and prosperity of San Francisco and California, she probably won’t mind. Secondly, if the performance of the stock market is a reflection of the Biden/Harris administration, then it’s pretty good reason to vote for Harris and every other Democrat on the ballot. Thirdly, Trump is crawling out onto a pretty weak limb with his fear mongering about a “GREAT DEPRESSION.”

For the record, there was a real stock market crash in late 2008 during the GW Bush term that took the markets down 37%. The S&P index is down only about 2% today, and only 6% from its all time high. That’s a minor and expected correction from the 17% rise in the past year, and the 36% gain since Biden and Harris took office. What’s more, markets worldwide are also down about 2%. Does Trump think that Biden and Harris are also the leaders of every other country on the planet?

Financial experts know that markets are not driven by presidential politics. The gains and losses are due to the performance of the companies that comprise the indexes and the broader state of the economy. Which in this case is firing on all cylinders. Profits are at record highs. More jobs have been created than at any time in modern history. Manufacturing has returned to the U.S. from foreign shores. Wages are rising faster than inflation.

For a look at what bad management does to a company on the stock exchange, take a look at Trump Media and Technology Group (TMTG: ticker DJT) that is the parent corporation of Truth Social. While the broader markets are down about 2% today, DJT is down 8%. Furthermore, it is down a whopping 34% since it went public just four moths ago.

Trump’s fear mongering is not just purposefully dishonest, it’s downright dangerous. He is trying to create a worse outcome by driving people to panic. He actually wants America to fail, and for people to get hurt, in order to prop himself up politically. And his cronies in Congress are playing along.

Trump seems to know that the only way he can win is for the American people to suffer. So he’s doing everything he can to produce that result. And anyone who is considering voting for him better reconsider. He’s not on your side. He’s only for himself. And he has no solutions to any of the problems that real people are facing. He has only whining, lying and fear mongering.

UPDATE I: The day following the “massive market downturn” that Trump said was leading to a “GREAT DEPRESSION,” the market gained back more than half of the prior day’s decline.
UPDATE II: Three days after Trump’s “GREAT DEPRESSION,” prediction, the market has recovered more than its losses. It is now higher than it was on before his gloomy and ridiculous prediction.

Trump Chickens Out of the Debate with Kamala Harris and Proposes a New One on Fox News

The 2024 presidential election cycle promises to be historically significant for many reasons that historians will recall with awe and wonder. That will not be just because it led to the election of Kamala Harris, America’s first woman president, who is also Black and South Asian. It will be partly because these historians will also recall 2024 with anguish, and too often, laughter, due solely to efforts of Donald Trump and his acutely psychotic narcissism and authoritarian aspirations.

The core personal feature that Trump has struggled to present to the nation for the past several years is what he regards as his uncommon strength and bravery for taking on the forces of evil on behalf of the peasants that he seeks to lead and protect. Never mind that he relentlessly acts out his pitiful victimhood and has literally bragged about being “the most fabulous whiner.”

Trump: “I am the most fabulous whiner. I do whine, because I want to win. I am a whiner and I keep whining and whining until I win.”

Trump has now offered another example of his innate cowardice by backing out of a previously agreed upon debate with Harris. And he did so with his typically incoherent and egomaniacal flair that has become a hallmark of his severely flawed character. The manner of his retreat is worth a deeper dive because it says so much about him and his self-serving motivations that belie any claim to courage.

It all began with a pair of posts (here and here) on his floundering social media scam, Truth Social that started off with – surprise – a lie. He then continued to misrepresent everything related to him backing out of the only debate that was actually agreed upon. What follows is a point-by-point factual breakdown of Trump’s emotional breakdown.

“I have agreed with FoxNews to debate Kamala Harris on Wednesday, September 4th.”

While Trump may have agreed with Fox News, he did not agree with Harris. He didn’t even discuss it with her. He merely stated his desire to schedule a debate hosted by his Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News, on his preferred date, with his choice of moderators (Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum), and his conditions that it be held in an arena with a live audience. That’s because he requires constant feedback from his cult disciples to nourish his ego and waste airtime with sycophantic cheering. He went on…

“The Debate was previously scheduled against Sleepy Joe Biden on ABC, but has been terminated in that Biden will no longer be a participant, and I am in litigation against ABC Network and George Slopadopoulos, thereby creating a conflict of interest.”

Trump claims that the original debate agreement “has been terminated,” as if someone other than he himself has terminated it. In other words, he’s quitting. Also, his complaint that the ABC debate can’t go forward because of a lawsuit he has filed against ABC and George Stephanopoulos (whose name Trump mangles in his typically infantile manner) is ridiculous. That lawsuit was already in progress when he agreed to the debate in the first place. Why wasn’t it a conflict of interest then?

“[Trump] is asserting that Stephanopoulos defamed him by referencing the rape charge. But Stephanopoulos was merely reporting the findings by the judge in the case where Trump was recently found liable for sexually assaulting writer, E. Jean Carroll.”

“As everyone knows, the Democrats have Unconstitutionally taken a Candidate, who was acknowledged to be defeated, and unceremoniously replaced him with a new Candidate.”

“As everyone knows” there is nothing unconstitutional about the Democratic Party choosing its own candidates in a manner they see fit. The Constitution doesn’t even mention how parties select their candidates. What’s more, Biden voluntarily stepped aside, putting the country before his personal interests, and endorsed Harris. Which doesn’t require a ceremony. It was an act of selflessness that was greeted with unprecedented enthusiasm from Democrats, Independents, and even some disaffected Republicans.

“This has never been done before, and is a Threat to Democracy, but I am totally prepared to accept the results of this ‘coup,’ and replace Joe on the Debate stage with Crazy Kamala Harris.”

Trump is the “Threat to Democracy” and only accuses Democrats of it as part of his childish “I know you are but what am I” campaign strategy. And his willingness to “accept” Harris as his opponent is hysterical. He has no choice in the matter. Although his reference to a “coup” is rather curious because it will just remind people of the one that he instigated on January 6, 2021. Also, he has apparently settled on his witless nickname for Harris as “Crazy,” after “Laffin'” and “Lyin'” fell flat. But “Crazy” is a recycled nickname that he has previously attached to women such as Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, Maxine Waters, and Mika Brzezinski.

I spent Hundreds of Millions of Dollars, Time, and Effort fighting Joe, and when I won the Debate, they threw a new Candidate into the ring. Not fair.”

Trump closes by complaining about the money he’s spent so far on his campaign, which almost surely was not “Hundreds of Millions of Dollars.” He’s spent most of his campaign funds on his lawyers and the multimillion dollar judgments against him for financial fraud and sexual assault. But he makes sure to whine at the very end by saying that it – like everything else that doesn’t go his way – was “Not fair.” Now Trump is using this to chicken out and invent another debate, which appears to be on the advice of Sean Hannity of Fox News.

Hannity: “Maybe it’s time for Trump to reject any appearance at ABC. For example, why would he show up at their debate if these ‘journalists’ clearly have opinion want to debate Trump themselves? Maybe he should just accept the Fox News Channel’s offer to debate?”

UPDATE: Trump posted yet another comment about the debate that reeks of fear. In it he says that “Kamala Harris doesn’t have the mental capacity to do a REAL Debate against me, scheduled for September 4th.” So he is resorting again to childish insults and lies. Harris will demonstrate her mental capacity for him if he bothers to show up for any debate. But as of now, the only one that is scheduled is on September 10, to be hosted by ABC News. If there is one thing that Donald Trump has become notorious for (other than lying, hate speech, porn stars, etc.), it’s his MAGA-ified ego that consumes the vast majority of his badly crippled consciousness. Being a malignant narcissist is a full time job. And among the duties are showing petulant outrage at any and every slight, no matter how petty or tangential. That’s why Trump spends so much time and energy attempting to ridicule his perceived enemies with infantile nicknames and asinine attacks for things that never actually happened. It’s ironic that he tries to use humor when he himself has no sense of it.

Given Trump’s background as a reality TV game show host, he remains inordinately obsessed with ratings and reviews. If he doesn’t have the highest ratings, the biggest crowds, and the most devoted disciples, he is inconsolable. Consequently, he must be fuming over the news that President Biden, who is no longer running against him, is still beating him.

Biden’s Oval Office address on Wednesday evening drew an audience of nearly 29 million viewers. That’s 16% more than the 25 million that Trump had for his big nomination acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention a few days before.

So Trump’s most highly anticipated speech of the year – that was poorly received and went on for an interminable 96 minutes – scored far lower than Biden’s brief, impromptu remarks explaining his passing of the torch to Vice-President Kamala Harris, which had already been reported.

Trump is clearly troubled by his poor performance on television, particularly because he was beaten by his nemesis, Joe Biden, a man he regards as a senile communist. On his floundering social media scam, Truth Social, Trump posted his predictably scathing review of Biden’s speech, along with his pathetic and desperate denigration of Harris…

“Crooked Joe Biden’s Oval Office speech was barely understandable, and sooo bad!” […and…] “We’re not ready for a Marxist President, and Lyin’ Kamala Harris is a RADICAL LEFT MARXIST, AND WORSE!’

Notice that Trump provided no coherent analysis of either Biden’s remarks or Harris’ politics. He merely lashed out impotently with childish insults. Which is totally in character for Trump. He couldn’t put together thirty seconds of a substantive critique without diverting to electrified sharks or Hannibal Lecter.

Yet somehow the Republican Party is still all-in on their nominee, who is a convicted felon, adjudicated rapist, financial fraudster, and aspiring dictator and/or messiah. This says so much about what was once called the “Grand Old Party” (GOP), but which is now neither grand, nor a party. All it is today is a cult led by an old and feeble-minded clown who is still losing to an opponent who is no longer in the race. If schadenfreude were a meal, Trump is catering a feast.

In that same short period of time, Harris’ opponent, Donald Trump, has exhibited an array of acute psychoses triggered by his inbred cowardice and innate inability to confront a competent, compassionate leader whose intelligence and moral character intimidates him. That’s especially true when that leader is a woman – a Black woman. Under such trying circumstances, Trump’s notorious weaknesses pour out in the most bizarre and pathetic ways…

In the first few hours following Biden’s announcement, Trump behaved as if he was still running against the President, posting numerous comments on his floundering social media scam, Truth Social. But eventually someone on his nursing staff advised him that he has a new opponent. And with that Trump commenced an onslaught of vitriol and infantile tirades aimed at Harris. None of which contained any shred of truth or rationality. He began with this expression of surprise…

“Wow, just watching the Fake News, and they’re doing their very best to turn the Worst President in the History of our Country into a ‘Brilliant and Heroic Leader’ (He was heroic because he quit!), and to turn ‘Dumb as a Rock’ Kamala Harris from a totally failed and insignificant Vice President into a future ‘Great’ President. No, it just doesn’t work that way!”

There’s a boatload of malarkey in that commentary. First of all, Trump’s characterization of Biden is certifiably false. A survey of 154 presidential historians ranked Biden in the top third of U.S. presidents. They ranked Trump dead last. Secondly, Biden’s display of courage and patriotism was recognized in his selfless devotion to his country over his personal interests. Thirdly, Trump reverts to his natural obnoxiousness by insulting Harris’ intelligence and distinguished record of accomplishments.

But Trump’s reprehensible ranting was just getting warmed up. He went on to introduce his new nickname for Harris, “Lyin’ Kamala,” a pejorative prefix he has recycled several times already (e.g. Hillary, Comey, Cruz). he criticized her for her work on the border, which was never a part of her portfolio as vice-president (she was a diplomatic liaison to the Northern Triangle countries of Central America). He mocked her “terrible pole (sic) numbers.” And he laughably described himself as a “brilliant young man.” Yeah, he’s a regular prodigy.

However, perhaps the best indication of how deeply disturbed Trump is by the elevation of Harris, he is floating potential excuses to chicken out of the already scheduled debate in September. In fact, this is the second time that he has suggested that he wouldn’t participate. The first time he proposed that the debate be moved from ABC News to Fox News. Now he’s doubling down for no reason other than that he’s scared to show up at any forum that isn’t hosted by his Ministry of Propaganda. He raged that…

“ABC Fake News is such a joke, among the absolute WORST in the business. They try to make Crooked Joe into a brave warrior because he didn’t have the ‘guts’ to fight it out — He quit! They then tried to make ‘Sleepy’ look like a great President – he was the WORST, and Lyin’ Kamala into a competent person, which she is not. ABC, the home of George Slopadopolus, is not worthy of holding a Debate, of which I hope there will be many! MAGA2024”

Clearly Trump is terrified by the prospect of debating Harris and is desperately searching for a way out. And bone spurs likely won’t do the trick this time. Although he may have let slip what is actually driving his dread when he posted a comment saying that “Lyin’ Kamala Harris destroys everything she touches!” That would explain his trepidation. He’s afraid that if he does show up for the debate that she will destroy him. And in that respect his fear is well warranted and you can’t really blame him for wanting to hide out at his Mar-a-Lago bunker.

Trump and GOP Big Shots ‘Endorse’ Kamala Harris and Want Her to Become President Immediately

In the few hours since President Biden stunned the nation and the world by announcing that he would not be seeking reelection, the response from Democrats has been unbridled joy, excitement, and anticipation of a brutal beatdown of Donald Trump and his MAGA, Project 2025, goose-stepping march toward totalitarianism.

The elevation of Vice-President Kamala Harris to the likely Democratic nominee for president quickly drew record breaking donations that exceeded $67 million in less than 12 hours. And it’s still growing as Americans vote with their wallets for a competent, experienced, compassionate leader. As opposed to the the convicted felon, financial fraudster, and adjudicated rapist that the Republicans are slobbering over.

Harris has also racked up endorsements from virtually every significant Democrat, beginning of course with Joe Biden. That endorsement was soon followed by others from Nancy Pelosi, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer, Josh Shapiro, Jim Clyburn, Pete Buttigieg, Adam Schiff, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and too many more to mention.

What may be somewhat less predictable is the rush of Republicans who seem to be in favor of Harris becoming president, and the sooner the better. Of course, these Republicans are not exactly supporters of Harris, but their vitriol aimed at Biden is so all-consuming that they have lost control of their already enfeebled minds. Their hate is driving them to call for Biden to resign from the presidency, which would result in Harris being sworn in immediately thereafter. They include…

  • Felon Donald Trump: “Crooked Joe, he has no idea where he is. If he can’t run for office, he can’t run our Country!!!”
  • Speaker Mike Johnson: “If Joe Biden is not fit to run for President, he is not fit to serve as President. He must resign the office immediately.”
  • Gov. Sarah Huckabee: “Not fit to run for president, not fit to serve as president.”
  • Rep. Elise Stefanik: “He must immediately resign.”
  • Rep. Lauren Boebert: “Joe Biden is fit to serve out the remainder of his term? #25th Amendment”

That’s right! All of these MAGA Republicans – and there more – are advocating for Biden to leave office now and make Harris the incumbent candidate for president. And since incumbency is such a powerful factor in electoral politics, that would be greatly advantageous to her already surging campaign.

To be clear, the argument that these GOP Harris “endorsers” are making is based on a perverse diversion from reality. They are asserting that Biden is stepping aside due to some cognitive disability that would make him unfit to continue serving in office as President. But that’s patently false. Biden’s decision was based on the political realities of the campaign and the pressure from nervous Democrats as to his ability to prevail in November.

None of that impacts Biden’s ability to continue to be one of the most productive and successful presidents of modern times. In fact, his decision to stand down is actually evidence of his intellectual prowess, as well as his selfless devotion to his country over personal concerns.

If the Republicans are looking for a presidential candidate who is unfit to serve, they need look no farther than their own cult master, Donald Trump. Since Biden’s announcement Trump has been frothing at the mouth on his floundering social media scam, Truth Social. Among the truly deranged comments he has posted are that “Biden never had Covid. He is a threat to Democracy!” Which maybe makes perfect sense to someone suffering from Acute Brain Rot. Trump also posted a comment that reveals his growing fear of having to face Harris in a debate…

“My debate with Crooked Joe Biden, the Worst President in the history of the United States, was slated to be broadcast on Fake News ABC, the home of George Slopadopolus, sometime in September. Now that Joe has, not surprisingly, has quit the race, I think the Debate, with whomever the Radical Left Democrats choose, should be held on FoxNews, rather than very biased ABC. Thank you! DJT”

Not only does Trump mislabel Biden’s ranking as President (it’s Trump who is the worst according to presidential historians), and unloads another of his infantile insults (“Slopadopolus”), but he also makes an incomprehensible argument that the network presenting an upcoming debate be changed to his own Ministry of Propaganda, Fox News. Why? What does Biden dropping out have to do with that?

Clearly Trump is just trying to lay the groundwork for him to chicken out. He knows that he can’t match wits with Harris and is grasping for excuses to avoid being humiliated by her. Which is peculiar because he doesn’t seem to mind humiliating himself every time he opens his mouth. And that is surely going to continue for duration of this campaign.

Donald Trump may have just provided Democrats with the best campaign tactic to deploy against him. Not that his atrocious record in office, or his vicious hostility, or his infantile behavior, or his humiliating ignorance, or his 34 felony convictions, or his 54 other pending felony indictments, or his half-billion dollar judgment for having committed financial, or his adjudication as a rapist, or his aspirations to be a dictator, weren’t enough.

Donald Trump, Pennywise

At his most recent traveling cult revival show, Trump delivered a speech that was replete with his standard playlist of bizarre and offensive commentaries. This was his first rally since his disastrous nomination acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention. That speech was widely panned for its litany of lies and for being so boring that his own cult disciples were leaving early and/or falling asleep.

At his rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Trump effectively to put rest any notion that his recent brush with “ear” death would moderate his behavior and cause him to seek unity. He spent the entire time insulting his political foes with his typical kindergarten style put downs. And high on the list of his targets was Vice-President Kamala Harris.

The significance of Trump singling out Harris was greatly expanded when the news came out that President Biden is standing down from the race, and endorsing Harris. This development will shake things up and leave the race with only one crazy Old Coot – a convict out on bail – running against a former prosecutor. So what is Trump’s leading argument against Harris? She laughs!

“Kamala, I call her laughing Kamala. Did you ever watch her laugh? She is crazy. You can tell a lot by a laugh. She’s crazy. She’s nuts. She is not as crazy as Nancy Pelosi. Crazy Nancy.”

OMG! Harris is a confidant, capable, compassionate, experienced, public servant who is also a happy, well adjusted, human being who enjoys life. How can Trump run against that? It’s so unfair. He is a miserable, noxious, repulsive, despised, loser, who if he laughs at all, it is only at the misfortune of others. The only enjoyment he gets out of life is mocking people and whining about what a poor, pathetic victim he is.

At the same rally Trump revealed something about himself that was already well known by anyone who has been paying attention. He has no sense of humor or ability to appreciate joy. He grouched that…

“They laughed at me. I hate when people laugh at me. I hate it. It’s so disrespectful. They laughed at me.”

That’s right! And “they” will continue laughing at him because he is such a clownish figure who seems intent on embarrassing himself. The entire General Assembly of the United Nations laughed at him. Dictators like Vladimir Putin, Xi Jinping, and Kim Jong Un, laugh at him as they exploit his weaknesses.

So thanks, Don, for letting Harris and other Democrats know that we can combat your lies and drive you crazy(er) by just continuing to laugh at you. Which we, and so many others, do anyway.

Of course, late night comedians also laugh at Trump, along with the millions of viewers in their audiences. In that respect, he is a bottomless well of comedic material…

However, as we are laughing, we must not lose sight of the fact that what stirs such uproarious guffaws is often a cathartic release triggered by Trump’s abhorrent remarks and attempts to undermine democracy. He remains an imminent threat to the principles enshrined in the United States Constitution. And our laughter must be tempered with the reality that, for the sake of the nation and the world, he must be prevented from ever holding any office of authority. In the meantime… HAHAHAHAHAHA
