Crybaby Trump Whines that ‘I Am a Political Prisoner,’ then Proves He Has No Idea What that Means

One of the most predictable personality flaws that convicted felon Donald Trump displays is his pitiful and persistent pronouncements of victimhood. For someone who is so obsessed with presenting an image of strength, he sure complains a lot about how he is so bruised and battered by his innumerable foes including those he regards as too weak to walk or “put two sentences together.”

Donald Trump Pacifier Fox

Trump’s obvious frailty makes it difficult to grasp how his glassy-eyed disciples can find anything to admire in him as a leader. But that’s the nature of a cult. The leader is seen as heroic and infallible, even when he shows himself to be cowardly and feeble. And Trump has not only shown that, he has bragged about it…

SEE THIS: Victim-in-Chief: Trump is the most Cowardly, Whining, Crybaby to Ever Be President

Last week Trump was found guilty of 34 felonies related to his “hush money” payoff to adult film actor and producer, Stormy Daniels. But rather than accept the verdict and express remorse, Trump has again chosen to embrace his victimhood. To that end he posted a comment on his floundering social media scam, Truth Social, sobbing that…

“I am the political prisoner of a failing nation. But I will soon be free on November 5th. The most important day in the history of our country.”

Poor baby. Never mind that he has no comprehension of what a political prisoner is. He thinks that the term applies to someone who is completely free to go about his business, to slouch around his Mar-a-Lago home/hotel, to play golf, and to bask in the glow of his devotees at staged cult rallies. Furthermore, he has no idea what a failing nation is either, but that doesn’t stop him from denigrating America as one. What a patriot.

Curiously, Trump posted another comment just fourteen minutes later. In that post Trump not only affirmed his ignorance of political prisoners, he also made the suffering of an actual political prisoner much worse. He said that…

“Evan Gershkovich, the reporter from the Wall Street Journal who is being held by Russia, will be released almost immediately after the election, but definitely before I assume office. He will be home, he will be safe. Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, will do that for me, and I don’t believe he’ll do it for anyone else.”

This was actually a repeat of the very same noxious comment he made two weeks ago. News Corpse reported it at the time in the following article (excerpt)…

Trump Brags that He and Putin are Holding Wall Street Journal Reporter Evan Gershkovich Hostage

Gershkovich has been held captive in Russia for just over a year on trumped up charges of espionage. The Biden administration has been working continuously to secure his freedom, just as they did for WNBA star Brittney Griner and Marine veteran Trevor Reed. But this interference by Trump isn’t going to help. To the contrary, it appears to be an unlawful attempt to conduct foreign policy and endanger the lives of Americans in Russia and elsewhere abroad.

In asserting that Putin will only release Gershkovich to Trump, and only after he is reelected, what Trump is implying is that he and Putin are conspiring to hold Gershkovich hostage in exchange for helping Trump’s reelection campaign. If Trump really has the influence that he is claiming (which is doubtful), why doesn’t he just tell Putin to release Gershkovich now?

Clearly both Trump and Putin are using this situation to benefit themselves. They both want Trump back in the White House. Putin wants him there because he is a malleable and obedient servant who fulfills the interests of Russia, such as dismantling NATO and defunding Ukraine. Trump wants to be there for the power tripping he enjoys so much, and to avoid prison and the other consequences of his illegal activities.

That’s right. Trump is so scared of the fate that awaits him, that he will even exploit the suffering of an American hostage in Russia. He will sabotage efforts to secure his freedom. And he will flagrantly lie to accomplish his nefarious and self-serving goals.

So, yeah, Trump is a prisoner. But not a political one. He is a prisoner of his own derangement and fear. Unfortunately, because so many of his MAGA Republican confederates are equally afraid to think for themselves, the rest of us must suffer as well. At least until Trump (along with those he has conned) is soundly defeated and shamed for his crimes, greed, and narcissistic delusions of grandeur. Which does indeed make November 5th an important day.

Trump Threatens that His Cult Followers ‘Won’t Stand for It’ if He is Sentenced for His Crimes

Now that Donald Trump has secured his place in history as the first and only former president to have been convicted of felony crimes (34 of them), the next step in the process is the sentencing hearing on July 11, that will determine his punishment. Since this is an unprecedented affair, speculation about the sentence swings wildly from a slap-on-the-wrist probation to as much as 20 years.

Donald Trump, Prison

No one will be surprised to learn that Trump himself has floated a deliberately flagrant lie that he could be sent up the river for 187 years. And as satisfying as that sounds, actual honest estimates tend to lean toward a more lenient penalty, such as a fine or house arrest. Although prison is not off the table, which is surely driving Trump crazy(er).

SEE THIS: What’s Roasting Trump’s Nuts? Jurors Believed Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen, But Not Him

The subject of Trump’s potential sentence came up Sunday morning on Fox News. Trump sat for a typically nerf-ball interview by the “Curvy Couch” potatoes of Fox and Friends. After delving deeply into the tediously repetitive ramblings that Trump disgorges at his cult rallies, co-host Pete Hegseth lobbed one right across the plate, giving trump an opportunity send an ominous signal to his glassy-eyed disciples.

Hegseth asked about the possibility that “the judge could say house arrest or even jail.” Trump began his reply with a swing at some false bravado saying that, “I’m OK with it.” Yeah, right! He would be OK with being confined to Mar-a-Lago, rather than playing golf or lavishing in the glow of his devotees at staged rallies in red America. Then he elaborated…

“I’m not sure that the public would stand for it. I think it would be tough for the public to take. You know, at a certain point there’s a breaking point.”

Make no mistake. The convicted felon crime boss is talking directly to his StormTrumpers that he hopes will launch another January 6th style uprising. He would like nothing more than to see violent riots take place on his behalf. No matter what the sentence actually turns out to be. Trump is not warning about a potential “breaking point.” He’s advocating it.

Unfortunately for Trump, he will likely be sorely disappointed. He wanted there to be massive protests outside of the Manhattan courthouse throughout his trial. They never showed up, even after he explicitly begged them to. He had to be satisfied with some lily-livered members of Congress who turned out in their Red-Tie uniforms to prop up their fallen leader. That, however, doesn’t diminish the potential for harm by lone wolf extremists individually or in small groups.

The pathetic impotence of Trump’s unanswered pleas is also reflected in new polls that have been released since his conviction that show him losing significant support among independents and even his Republican base.

Now that Trump has been declared guilty, and his punishment is pending, it was interesting that in this same interview his Fox News pals asked him about the chants of “Lock her up,” that he led during his 2016 campaign against Hillary Clinton. Never mind that she had not been convicted – or even charged – with any crime. But even more interesting was Trump’s reply. He flatly denied that he ever said it. So let’s go to the tape…

That’s typical of the pathological lying that we have come to expect of Trump. And despite that glaring character flaw – and his two impeachments, and adjudication as a rapist, and phony university, and fraudulent charity, and judgment for financial fraud, and multiple bankruptcies, and blatant racism and misogyny – Trump remains the nominee of the Republican Party for president of the United States.

Which says so much about the party and the MAGA media that disseminates its propaganda. Trump and his media and congressional minions are all equally culpable for the damage that they have done and are doing to the nation. But Trump may be right about one thing, although not in the way he thinks: “The public won’t stand for it. There is a breaking point.” And hopefully that breaking point will be November 5, 2024, when Trump and MAGA are finally disposed of.

HYPOCRISY UNCHAINED! Trump Flack Whines that Biden’s Campaign is Making Trump’s Trial Political

The trial of Donald Trump in New York for his falsifying business records and campaign finance fraud (sometimes called the “Hush Money” case) is wrapping up this week with the delivery of closing arguments and the commencement of jury deliberations. Predictions of the outcome by all sides is pure speculation, but the case by the prosecutors appears to be extraordinarily strong.

Donald Trump

As the case is entering its final phase, Trump’s team is pulling out all the stops to try to influence the court of public opinion. They have been doing that throughout the trial, led by their Dear Leader, who would hold impromptu press avails outside the court every day it was in session. And for some unknown reason the press would cover it, despite the fact that it was just a tediously repetitive rendition of what he had already posted on his floundering social media scam, Truth Social.

SEE THIS: Trump and Fox News are Priming the MAGA Cult for Devastating and Dangerous Disappointment

On Tuesday morning Trump’s campaign press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, held her own court on the courthouse steps to give the press a ludicrous account of what was going on. She was ostensibly responding to statements made earlier by President Biden’s campaign, featuring cinema icon, Robert De Niro. Leavitt said that…

“What you just heard from is a desperate and failing and pathetic campaign who knows that they are losing. Joe Biden sending his campaign outside of this criminal courthouse – it is a full-blown concession that this trial is a witch hunt that comes from the top. Comes from Joe Biden.”

Really? Does Leavitt actually believe that she can characterize the press conference by Biden’s team as evidence that the whole affair is political? She knows very well that, from the beginning, it was Trump and his cohorts who made it clear that they were going to treat the trial as a political matter. He even flew his congressional flunkies in from Washington for moral support. What could be more political than a frontline of MAGA Republicans running Trump’s defense?

SEE ALSO: MAGA Mike Johnson Announces His Intention to Interfere with the Criminal Investigation of Trump

Leavitt followed that up by unleashing a batch of Trump’s pre-approved insults of everyone involved in the case, including D.A. Alvin Bragg and Judge Juan Merchan. She makes the laughable assertion that “This case would have been laughed out of any other courtroom in America,” and complained about the gag order that was issued because Trump wouldn’t stop maligning and intimidating court personnel, witnesses, and jurors. She called the proceedings “a disgrace,” a “witch hunt,” and a “scam.” But then claimed that it was just making Trump more popular. If that’s true, what’s she so upset about?

Leavitt also repeated the wildly exaggerated estimates of Trump’s crowds in the Bronx and New Jersey, and lashed out at “elitist out of touch Hollywood actors like Robert De Niro.” Then added that she “could not help but laugh” at accurate descriptions of Trump as “a threat to democracy.” She argued without any rational foundation that “Joe Biden is the real threat to democracy,” and the case against Trump is “a communist show trial.”

Leavitt closed by calling Biden “weak” and “pathetic” for orchestrating “this weaponization of our justice system,” which, of course, he didn’t do. Then she launched a robo-whine about alleged Biden faults that have no basis in reality, such as…

“…his wide-open border invasion that is allowing a mass invasion of illegal people into this country, terrorists, criminals. Our economy is in shambles. We are heading toward World War III. [but that] Trump is going to win this election. And ultimately he will be vindicated of this sham crooked trial because he has the truth on his side and he is an innocent man.”

This seems like a good time for a reminder that Leavitt’s initial complaint was that the trial was being turned into something political. By Biden. Does she ever listen to herself? Or to Trump? Their entire spiel is political.

Biden, on the other hand, hasn’t said a single word about this trial, or any of Trump’s 88 pending felonies. So who is being political? It might also be useful to note that Biden’s campaign spokesperson, Michael Tyler, specifically said that he wasn’t outside the court for the trial, but because that’s where the press was. Which is a pitifully sad statement about the press, who have political obsessions of their own to contend with.

UH-OH: Trump Just Admitted He’s Guilty of Falsifying Records to Cover Up His Hush Money Payments

The trial in Manhattan where Donald Trump is charged with falsifying business records and campaign finance fraud (sometimes known as the “Hush Money” case) is nearly over. Last week attorneys for both the prosecution and the defense rested their cases. Trump himself chose not to testify, despite having promised to do so on several occasions.

Donald Trump

Trump may have thought that his testimony wasn’t necessary because his hallway harangues outside the court were sufficient to clear him of any charges. Of course, those tantrums were never entered into the record as evidence, were littered with lies, and were not heard by the jury. They were merely cathartic and delusional distortions of reality intended to soothe Trump’s ego and assuage his seething fears.

SEE THIS: Trump and Fox News are Priming the MAGA Cult for Devastating and Dangerous Disappointment

On Friday Trump demonstrated why the decision to stay off of the witness stand was the right one. In a frantic series of posts on his floundering social media scam, Truth Social, Trump lashed out trial judge Juan Merchan, prosecutor Alvin Bragg, and the American system of justice as a whole. And included in his tirade was a comment that is tantamount to a confession…

“The bookkeeping error that I am being incorrectly and unconstitutionally prosecuted for is the fact that a bookkeeper, innocently and correctly, called a ‘Legal Expense’ paid to a lawyer, a ‘Legal Expense.’ IN EVEN SIMPLER WORDS, I CALLED A LEGAL EXPENSE, A LEGAL EXPENSE. WHAT THE HELL ELSE WOULD YOU CALL IT? A BIDEN INSPIRED ELECTION INTERFERENCE HOAX!!!”

First of all, there is nothing unconstitutional about the 34 felony charges brought against Trump in this case. And secondly, Trump can’t seem to make up his mind as to whether what he first calls a “bookkeeping error” is in fact an error or was “innocently and correctly” recorded.

More to the point, Trump and attorneys argued adamantly in court that he couldn’t be held responsible for falsifying his business records because he didn’t know anything about it. He tried to blame it all on his accounting staff, despite the fact that he has previously bragged that he is a strict manager of his business affairs to the minutest details.

However, in the comment above Trump confesses in all caps that “I CALLED A LEGAL EXPENSE, A LEGAL EXPENSE.” So it wasn’t his accountants after all. It was he who deliberately mislabeled the campaign expenditures in order to buy the silence of Stormy Daniels. This is such an egregious gaffe that Trump himself sought to walk it back half an hour later in another post wherein he claimed the opposite, saying that…

“…a bookkeeper, with zero influence from or discussion with me, correctly called the payment of a Legal Expense to a lawyer – a Legal Expense.”

So which is it, Donnie? Did Trump make the erroneous bookkeeping claim himself as he said above? Or was it a nameless clerk gone rogue? For the record, evidence produced in court found that it was Trump’s CFO, Allen Weisselberg, at Trump’s direction. Weisselberg pleaded guilty to perjury, twice, related to these matters, and is currently in prison.

Just imagine how prosecutors would have handled these questions if Trump had taken the oath and sat in the witness chair. He would have fumbled his way through various contradictory assertions that would have sealed his legal fate. He knew that and, sensibly (for a change), chose to break his promise to testify. That’s his right, and the jury will be instructed not to hold it against him.

However, jurors can, and will, consider that there was no testimony refuting the evidence that Trump had a primary role in falsifying his records. Trump was the only one who could counter the testimony given by his lawyer/fixer, Michael Cohen, and others. And Trump, as usual, chickened out. So while such cowardice is not a legal finding, it is a human one. And jurors are human.

DELUSIONAL Fox News Host Remembers When ‘Blacks Loved Trump’ and ‘Wanted to Be Trump’

Political campaigns commonly make rosy claims intended to bolster the perceived depths of support the candidate has among various constituent groups. Ordinarily those claims are backed up by at least some kernel of truth. But in the era of the MAGA GOP, all standards of honesty have been discarded as what was once the Republican Party morphs into the Cult of Trump.

Fox News Jesse Watters

Fox News provided an outstanding example of that on Thursday night in a segment of the Jesse Watters program wherein he was “reporting” on Donald Trump’s rally in the Bronx. Throughout the day Fox News covered the rally as if there had been a sighting of the Virgin Mary that drew 100,000 faithful to a park in New York City. Actually, the attendance was more like 2-3,000, and most of them were from out of town, or even out of state. But diverging from the facts never stopped Fox News before.

SEE THIS: Fox News Fans the Flaming Lie that Biden Sought to Assassinate Trump During Search of Mar-a-Lago

Like many others on Fox News, Watters sought to portray the Bronx rally as evidence that Trump has significant support in the Black and Latino communities. He didn’t bother to notice that most of the audience was White in a borough that is 85% people of of color.

Watters went on to complain about the frequent observations of Trump’s blatant racism. However, his comments were typically out of step with reality. He whined that…

“It does seem like they’re trying to say Trump’s racist. And they have to go all the way back into the 80s to say he’s racist. I remember in the 80s, Blacks loved Trump. In the 90s they loved him. In the 2000s Blacks wanted to be Trump. Everybody wanted to be Trump, no matter what color you are. That changed when he ran for president.”

First of all, it isn’t the vindication of Trump that Watters thinks it is to notice that examples of his racism date back 40-50 years. That’s more of a validation. But Watters goes even farther afield by claiming to “remember” the 1980s when “Blacks loved Trump.” Watters was born in Philadelphia in 1978. So he wants his viewers to believe that he recalls Trump’s popularity with Blacks in New York from his years as a toddler in another state.

There is, of course, no evidence that Blacks loved Trump in the 80s, or the 90s, or any time since. Particularly New Yorkers who actually do remember Trump taking out a full-page ad in four newspapers calling for the execution of five Black teenagers (the Central Park Five), who were falsely accused of a horrific rape and murder. Thirteen years later DNA evidence exonerated them. The five eventually received a $41 million settlement from the city of New York in 2014. Trump has never retracted his statement or apologized.

Watters continued his deranged distortion of reality by asserting that “Blacks wanted to be Trump. Everybody wanted to be Trump.” Once again, there is no evidence of any such desire on the part of anyone, with the exception of other privileged White grifters who envied Trump’s shameless deceitfulness in pursuit of greed. Most New Yorkers were repulsed by Trump and his pseudo-playboy aspirations and tawdry friendships with the likes of underage sex trafficker, Jeffrey Epstein.

Fox News needs to keep spreading blatant lies like these about Trump’s feeble support among Black Americans in order to convince their viewers that he is a shoo-in for the presidency in November. They are an insecure bunch of willfully blind followers who will crumble at the notion that Trump isn’t viewed by everyone as a messiah. So designated fluffers like Watters are dispatched to keep the emotional Kool-Aid flowing. It’s sad that there are still suckers – although relatively few – who continue to fall for it.

Trump Brags that He and Putin are Holding Wall Street Journal Reporter Evan Gershkovich Hostage

The hatred that Donald Trump has for the media has been a core component of what passes for his ideology from before he was even a political candidate. And after he began his career in politics he escalated his animosity by repeatedly referring to the press in Stalinist terms as “the enemy of the people.” In virtually every public appearance Trump will insult journalists and news networks as “fake,” “corrupt,” and always out to get him.

Click here to Tweet this article

Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin

Trump’s assault on the Constitution’s protection of a free press is part of a calculated strategy to discredit any reporting about him that is less than reverential. He wants his cult followers to dismiss truthful accounts of his noxious words and behavior, and to believe only what he tells them to believe. That sort of messiah worship is, in fact, the prime directive of a cult. And at least so far as his glassy-eyed disciples go, it’s working.

SEE THIS: IT’S A CULT! Poll Shows Republicans Trust Only Criminal Messiah Trump to Tell Them the Truth

On Wednesday Trump posted a comment on his floundering social media scam, Truth Social, that is emblematic of both his aversion toward the press and his affinity toward his hero and role model, Vladimir Putin. In the comment Trump boasted that…

“Evan Gershkovich, the Reporter from The Wall Street Journal, who is being held by Russia, will be released almost immediately after the Election, but definitely before I assume Office. He will be HOME, SAFE, AND WITH HIS FAMILY. Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, will do that for me, but not for anyone else, and WE WILL BE PAYING NOTHING!”

It is reprehensible that Trump would use and exacerbate the suffering of an American – and a journalist to boot – to achieve his own selfish desires. But it isn’t surprising. Gershkovich is not the only American that Russia is unjustly incarcerating. Former Marine Paul Whelan has been there for five years. He was abducted during Trump’s term, and Trump did nothing to secure his release. Biden tried to include Whelan in the exchange with Griner and Reed, but Putin stubbornly refused. Perhaps he was saving him for this arrangement with Trump.

Whelan and his family are probably wondering what happened to that special relationship that Trump supposedly has with Putin. It’s notable that Trump didn’t even mention Whelan in his comment. So why should anyone believe Trump now when he says he can get Putin to release Gershkovich?

The obvious answer is that they should not believe him. Trump is only interested in one person, and that’s Trump. Always has been, and always will be. And anyone who doesn’t believe that is already a fully indoctrinated MAGA cult member.

Trump VP Hopeful, Stefanik, Goes Whacko When Fox News Reminds Her She Called Him a ‘Whack Job’

The race for who will be Donald Trump’s vice-presidential running mate is getting more heated as the election cycle proceeds. Names like Kristi Noem, Tim Scott, Marco Rubio, Vivek Ramaswamy, Byron Donalds, Kari Lake, and JD Vance, have all been floated. And every one of them have been less than subtle about their craving to be chosen to be the next Mike Pence, whose loyalty to Trump nearly got him hanged.

Donald Trump, Woman, Fear

That sort of unflinching fealty to Dear Leader Trump is on full display by the prospective veeps. And for the most part, Fox News is playing its role in helping Trump to decide which contestant will get the rose. One Fox News host, Mark Levin, has gone so as far to deliver a blatant ultimatum to Trump himself with regard to who he might select…

SEE THIS: Blurring the Lines: Fox News Host Warns Trump: Do Not Choose a VP Who Won’t Appear on My Show

On Sunday, Fox News host Shannon Bream interviewed one of the top tier candidates, Elise Stefanik (NY-MAGA), about her aspirations to be Trump’s running mate (video below). Bream noted that Stefanik was among the Republicans who had abandoned their duties in Washington to join Trump’s cheering section at his criminal trial in Manhattan. Then Bream brought up a New York Times article wherein Stefanik was revealed to have been a harsh Trump critic when he first announced his candidacy. Bream said that…

“They say you called him a whack job at one point. They added this: ‘In August 2015 she told a New York radio station that he was insulting to women and that his candidacy would hurt the party’s efforts to attract female voters. According to her former friends,’ they continue, she thought ‘Mr. Trump was too awful and ridiculous to be taken seriously.'”

That’s an opinion that was shared by many Republicans (e.g. Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, etc.) prior to their becoming indoctrinated into the Trump cult. Shaken by being confronted with her own views, Stefanik led her response by lashing out at Bream for having the gall to quote actual associates of Stefanik to whom she revealed her aversion to Trump. Stefanik raged that…

“This is a, this is a false smear. And let me tell you a fact. In 2016, I was attacked as the only elected Republican from the Northeast who voted for President Trump. Democrats spent hundreds of thousands of dollars attacking me for that fact. So to say that I didn’t support him is just false. I have been proud to be one of his strongest supporters.”[Adding that] “It’s a disgrace that you would take a New York Times article and just read negative quotes.”

That’s right! How dare Bream ask Stefanik to account for things that she actually said. Especially since Stefanik is such a proud, unquestioning, glassy-eyed disciple of the Trump cult, whose support is all consuming and never ending.

Bream then asked Stefanik about whether she had said that Trump was “insulting to women,” and that his candidacy would hurt the party’s efforts to attract female voters. Stefanik admitted that she had said it, but complained that it had been “leaked out” by Democrats. Which doesn’t change the fact that she said it at all. She went on to say that she, nevertheless, stood by him, despite his grossly misogynistic insults.

It’s a rare phenomenon to see a Republican get grilled by Fox News. But when it happens it generally winds up with the Republican whining about being treated unfairly by the notoriously GOP friendly network. They never seem to be able to take responsibility for their own prior remarks or behavior. Which is a character trait they may have picked up from Trump, whose entire public life has served as a masterclass in dodging responsibility, denying reality, and lying about his own past. And in that respect, Stefanik is good learner.

Adderall J. Trump Thinks He Can ‘Demand’ Biden Take a Drug Test Before the Debates – Or What?

This week President Biden challenged Donald Trump to a couple of debates, which forced Trump to agree, despite complaining about the hosting networks, and whining about conditions that would hamper his reality TV style grandstanding, such as the absence of a live audience, and the ability of moderators to cut the microphone if the candidate exceeded his allotted time.

Click here to Tweet this article

Donald Trump Angry

The Trump camp, however, is pretending not to be satisfied with the two debates now scheduled. Trump’s daughter-in-lawlessness, Lara, who he put in charge of the Republican National Committee, has asked for a total of five debates, despite insisting that that are all somehow “rigged” in favor of Biden. Just like the elections and the trials, and everything else that Trump is afraid that he’s losing. Also, it is common for the candidate who is behind to want more debates. So that tells us something about where Trump really thinks he stands.

SEE THIS: Lara Trump Tells Fox News that She Wants 5 Debates with Biden – That She Says are All Rigged

On Friday Trump left his son’s high school graduation early to give a speech before the Minnesota Republican Party. The speech was typically littered with the same lies and infantile insults that comprise every speech he gives. But this one also included an especially repugnant remark that he regards, in his perverse perspective, as proper political commentary. He raged that…

“We have Fake Tapper, but, you know, I just want to debate this guy. But you know, I’m going to demand a drug test too, by the way. I am. No, I really am. I don’t want him coming in like the State of the Union, he was high as a kite. I said, ‘Is that Joe up there?’ And by the end of the evening, he’s like, well, he was exhausted, right? No, we’re going to demand a drug test.”

Indeed, Trump did accuse Biden of being under the influence during his State of the Union speech. That’s because, after spending weeks insisting that Biden “can’t put two sentences together,” Biden delivered a speech that was universally well received and described as “fiery” and “forceful.” So Trump and his confederates had to shift gears from taunts of “Sleepy Joe” to malign the President as “Jacked-Up Joe.” Which is actually a much cooler name.

MORE HERE: Trump’s Live-Bleating of Biden’s State of the Union Address Was Predictably Petty and Pathetic

However, Trump’s promise to “demand” that Biden be given a drug test is just another display of his pathetic impotence. On what authority does he think he can issue such a demand? And how exactly does he think he can force it to be carried out? And what are the consequences when Biden refuses? Will the notoriously cowardly Trump use that as excuse to back out of the debates himself? Just as he did from all of the GOP primary debates.

Trump doesn’t bother to address any of that in his asinine ultimatum. Nor does he mention anything about whether he would also submit to a drug test. After all, he is the one who recently confused Nancy Pelosi with Nikki Haley, and thought that he was running against Barack Obama, and rambled incoherently about the fictional cannibal Hannibal Lector.

Not to mention that Trump has been caught falling asleep several times at his own criminal trial. Which makes one wonder if he could remain awake throughout a debate with Biden.

Never mind that Trump also said that “Crooked Joe Biden is the WORST debater I have ever faced!” Which is a curious thing to brag about after losing two prior debates with Biden, as well as the 2020 election. But maybe Trump will demand next that all future debates be hosted by Fox News or Pravda. That should help to win something.

UPDATE: Trump also wanted Hillary Clinton tested for drugs in 2016. He’s regurgitating his moldy oldies. What’s next? Will he demand Biden’s birth certificate?

Lara Trump Tells Fox News that She Wants 5 Debates with Biden – That She Says are All Rigged

This week President Biden accepted two offers to debate Donald Trump. Shortly thereafter, Trump accepted Biden’s challenge, although not without griping about the hosting networks and some of the rules. The debates will take place on June 27 on CNN, and September 10 on ABC, providing ample time for voters to observe the candidates as they face off on live TV.

Joe Biden, Donald Trump

It is customary for presidential candidates to have a couple of debates, and another between the vice-presidential candidates. This year however, we have a unique situation wherein both candidates have already occupied the White House and, thus, are not exactly unknown quantities who require more exposure in order to be recognized or to unveil their political platforms. These two candidates have been sparring publicly non-stop for four years already.

Nevertheless, Trump’s daughter-in-lawlessness, Lara Trump – who was also appointed to head the Republican National Committee (RNC) by her Sugardaddy-in-law – isn’t satisfied. And she made her objections known to Sean Hannity on Fox News, where she spends most of her time, rather than performing the duties of an RNC chair. Lara whined to Hannity that…

“What Donald Trump has said is that he wants more debates. […] Let’s do one every single month leading up to this election cause we need these two men on a stage. […] We need to hear from Donald Trump about his vision for the future of this country. […] It’s rigged so heavily in Joe Biden’s favor, but everything always is.”

That’s right! Lara wants at least five debates between Biden and Trump. Even though she believes that that they are all rigged in Biden’s favor. It’s hard to imagine what she thinks would be accomplished by that, other than providing more airtime for Trump to lie and rant incoherently, while boring the crap out of viewers. Does she really think that Trump needs more time to lay out his alleged “vision for the future,” which consists mainly of exalting himself as a cult leader who demands the unflinching loyalty of dictators like his heroes Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un?

And let’s face it, with more airtime Trump would only engage in more attacks on Biden and more infantile insults on his other perceived enemies. He doesn’t actually have a “vision” that is based on policies that could positively impact the American people. Lara didn’t even present any in her spiel to Hannity. She just complained that Hollywood, and the music industry, and the media, and the judicial system, are all against Trump. Do we need five debates to make those annoying complaints more apparent?

Another curious part of Lara’s plea for more debates is that ordinarily the candidates who are leading want fewer debates. That was even Trump’s reasoning for refusing to participate in any of the Republican primary debates. He insisted that because he was beating all of his challengers, he didn’t have to show up to debate them. Apparently it wasn’t necessary then for him to reveal his alleged vision, or to contrast it with his opponents.

So does Trump’s craving for more debates against Biden indicate that he is afraid that he is losing to Biden? Does he have internal polling that shows him behind or losing ground? Or is he just posturing for effect and doesn’t intend to show up for those, or any of the debates? It would not be the first time that he has chickened out. In fact, it’s pretty much his standard operating position. Lying, whining, and chickening out are the Trump brand.

Trump Calls Biden ‘the WORST Debater’ Despite Biden Crushing Him in the 2020 Debates and Election

The 2024 election season has just hit another milestone with the candidates both agreeing to a couple of debates. The first will be on CNN on June 27, in Atlanta, Georgia, where Donald Trump is currently awaiting trial for election interference. The second will be on ABC on September 10, location to be determined.

Biden, Trump Debate

These debates will be a departure from the traditional events that have been hosted by the non-partisan Commission on Presidential Debates for the past thirty years. However, the hosting networks have agreed to some rules that President Biden – and most viewers – will appreciate, and that Trump will whine about.

First of all, there will be no live audience. That is generally a distraction that interrupts the flow of the discourse with the predictable and useless outbursts of the candidates’ invited supporters. Trump has already complained about that provision saying that he preferred an audience “for excitement purposes.” So as usual, he is behaving like the reality TV game show host that he is, and a narcissist who craves constant adoration.

Secondly, there will be strict adherence to time limits and an ability by the moderator to cut the microphone when a candidate exceeds his time. Once again, that’s a rule that is likely to bother Trump who is incapable of controlling himself. During debates with Biden in 2020, he had to be told repeatedly to stop interrupting, including by Biden who eventually was so annoyed he just told Trump “Shut up, man!”

After Biden announced his acceptance of these debates, Trump responded in a manner that is typical for him. His response was littered with lies and insults. And most of it was a tedious repetition of the same lies and insults he has been disgorging for years. Which says more about Trump’s defective mental state than anything else.

For instance, Trump started off regurgitating his old line that “Crooked Joe Biden is the WORST debater I have ever faced – He can’t put two sentences together!” Which raises some interesting questions. Such as why, then, did he lose to Biden in both of the 2020 debates (debate one poll – – debate two poll), as well as the general election? Is Trump bragging that he lost to someone who can’t put two sentences together?

Trump also said that “Crooked is also the WORST President in the history of the United States, by far.” But a recent poll of presidential historians puts Biden at #14, and Trump dead last. Then Trump unleashes a flurry of falsehoods about Biden’s record as President, including the flagrant absurdity that Biden has an “open border” policy and favors inflation and high taxes.

In point of fact, Biden’s stewardship of the economy has resulted in lowering inflation more than any of the other major economies of the world. And while he does want to restore the higher tax bracket to corporations and the wealthy, he has proposed lowering taxes for middle and lower income households.

The contrast between how Biden and Trump addressed the matter of forthcoming debates could not be more revealing. Trump is consumed by hostilities and delusions. And the deficiencies that he attributes to Biden are more likely projections of what he fears in himself. So although he has called Biden “Sleepy Joe,” it is Trump who has been slumbering during his criminal trial. Could he remain awake for the duration of a debate?

Biden, meanwhile, is calm and possesses a good sense of humor, even in the face of Trump’s animosity. Which was apparent in the video he posted challenging Trump to the debates…
